The Pick-Up Page 3

by Gianni Holmes

“I like the way you feel against me.” Marsh decided to go all in. He tugged Perry closer to him. God only knew how Perry had found space in the bed to put distance between them. Marsh's bulk took up most of the space.

Perry moved over toward him uncertainly. Marsh helped him out by grasping one of Perry’s leg and throwing it over his hip. Perry relaxed against Marsh, placing his head on Marsh’s shoulder.

“Why are you d-doing this?” Perry asked.

  “Doing what?”

“Trying t-to make me feel like you ca-care.”

Marsh frowned, stroking Perry’s leg. “I do care. Perhaps more than would be considered wise for two people who just met. I don’t know enough about you, but maybe on the drive to Louisiana I’ll learn more.”

Perry shrugged. “There’s nothing to tell really.”

Marsh peered down at him with a frown. “I’m sure that’s not true.” Silence weighed heavily between them. Marsh was usually a private person so he should understand Perry’s locked-lips syndrome but it bothered him that the younger man wouldn’t share.

“Where exactly in Louisiana are you going?”

  “Um, this place called Lacovia.”

Marsh’s chest rumbled with laughter. What should he do now? Believe fate was trying to push them together?

  “Why are you laughing?”

“If you’re moving out of a conservative home, Perry, Lacovia is hardly the place where you want to be.”

Perry stiffened beside him. “How d-do you know that?”

“Because I’ve lived in Lacovia all my life.”

Perry raised his head to stare down at Marsh in surprise. “You’re from Lacovia?”

  Marsh smiled. “Yes, I am.”

  “Oh.”

That was hardly the reaction a scowling Marsh had expected, especially after the sex they just had. The response reminded him of the way he acted with random hookups. He couldn’t wait to see the back of them and move on. Why was Perry so different? He was just another guy Marsh had shagged within hours of meeting him.

  “I suppose it’s big enough.”

“Big enough for what?” Marsh asked, not liking where the conversation was going at all.

“So we-we don’t have to run into each other.”

“And why the fuck wouldn’t you want to run into each other?”

“I mean you wouldn’t want t-to be seen with someone like me.”

It finally dawned on Marsh what the problem was. Perry thought he was nothing more than tonight’s side dish. Wasn’t he though?

Marsh rubbed his hand up Perry’s body, took Perry’s hand and moved it to rest on Marsh’s cock. “You feel how hard it’s becoming already?”

Perry nodded. “I-I’m ready again when you are.”

“I mean I want you,” Marsh replied. “Although I’ll take you up on that offer in a bit, but I definitely want to see you when we are in Lacovia.”

“I-I’m not going to lose the extra pounds, you know.”

Marsh rolled his eyes. “Was I complaining just now when I fucked you, Per?”

He shook his head, his eyes hopeful but wary. “I-I’ve had guys before who thought they-they could make me lose the weight by joining the gym or go on a diet. I’m diabetic, Marsh. I’ve always struggled with the extra weight.”

Marsh pressed his lips to Perry’s before the guy could explain further. He didn’t need an explanation for Perry’s extra weight. “Tell you what, Perry?” He smiled down at Perry’s dreamy look once their lips parted. “I quite enjoyed having sex with you. I loved the feel of your body against me. You’re a sensual guy. And the way your ass moves when I fuck you is nothing short of natural Viagra.”

Perry giggled, the sound delightful. “You mean that?”

Marsh rolled him onto his back, easily topping Perry. Even with the extra pounds, Perry was nothing in comparison to Marsh's size.

“What are you doing?” Perry gasped as Marsh kissed down his stomach.

“I’m about to spend all night showing you just how much I want you. Not just for sex, Perry. I mean to keep you.”

Perry’s gasp of surprise was a result of more than the thrill that ran down his spine at Marsh’s lips wrapped around his cock. Marsh realized how serious he was. He never had the urge to keep someone as badly as he wanted to keep Perry. Tonight he would work on branding Perry as his. He couldn’t wait to introduce Perry to the other guys.

Thanks for reading Marsh and Perry’s story. I’ll be updating you with freebies from time to time about the progression of their relationship. The next installment will be from Perry’s perspective, journey to Lacovia.
