Faster.
Harder.
I told her I was close, and she kept going. I watched as she kept moving, blinking as I came in her throat. She hesitated for a moment but managed to keep her lips locked around me as I finished coming. I knew that it wasn’t as much as the first time and felt grateful for her sake. The condom had been full when I took it off in the bathroom. I dropped back and released my hands from her hair as she dropped to my stomach. I watched as she swallowed a few more times, wondering when I would want to kick this girl out of my bed.
She ended up falling asleep draped over me and I stroked her hair as her breath evened out. I knew that we had the morning for more of the intense heat that was between us. When I felt my eyes dropping closed, I moved her gently beside me and shut the light off before pulling her close.
Aubrey smelled like a mixture of sex and sweet cherries and I inhaled the scent before I closed my eyes.
Chapter Six
Aubrey
I woke up to sunlight and blinked, wondering when my room got so bright. My bedroom only had one window, and I kept the blinds closed. I felt a warm body pressed against mine and the memory of the night before rushed through my mind as I smiled.
I looked at David in the light from the windows at the top of the room, taking in his gorgeous face. Since he was sleeping peacefully, I took this time to look him over. He was still naked, and I looked over his lean muscles and perfect broad shoulders that continued down the arms that held me close.
This felt amazing.
I looked around the room out of curiosity, seeing that it was a big master bedroom. I didn’t see much of the house the night before given the dimmed light and the way I wanted to give myself to David. I shivered at the memory, feeling my nipples harden. I never felt this aroused by anyone or anything before in my life.
I moved slightly, knowing that I needed to pee. If I moved, would he wake up? If he woke up, would he take me again?
I breathed out slowly and moved to slip out of the bed. I glanced at him as I walked away, feeling the ache between my thighs as I made my way to the attached bathroom. I looked around the room that was nearly as big as my small bedroom with a generous shower and a long counter that offered two sinks. I used the toilet and washed my hands as I looked in the mirror.
My hair was messy, and the makeup was smudged around my eyes. I sighed and accepted that this was a first time for this before I did the best I could to wash it off. I fixed my hair as much as I could and looked down my body to see the marks from David’s teeth and mouth as I blushed.
Last night was so fucking hot. I was willing to ride this high as long as I could before it ended, and I used his toothpaste on my finger to freshen my mouth. Turning to leave, I opened the door slowly and glanced out. David had moved, but he was still sleeping on his stomach with his muscular arms around the pillows. I bit my lip and stared at him as I leaned against the doorway.
Part of me wanted coffee but part of me wanted to get my phone and take a picture of this. Was that awful? I would never share it, but I wanted the memory of his incredible body to look at when I used this experience as a fantasy.
I blinked and walked over to the bed, unsure if I should make coffee or not. This was David’s house, not mine. I barely remembered what the kitchen looked like. I sat down and pulled a blanket that was tossed over the end of the bed over my bare skin, staring up at the ceiling. I jumped when I felt a hand on my thigh, blinking at David as he smiled sexily up at me. “Morning.” His voice was rough with sleep and I moved beside him on the pillows. I couldn’t help it. “When did you wake up?”
“Just a few minutes ago,” I replied as I stared into his eyes. “I was going to make us coffee, but I felt weird about it.”
“How come?” David asked as I shrugged.
“It’s your house… your kitchen.” I smiled as he rolled over to face me, showing those chiseled abs and his cock at half-mast.
“You’re welcome to anything you need. I asked you to stay with me,” David reminded me as I blushed.
“I know. I just haven’t done this, and I didn’t know the rules,” I told him as David chuckled.
“Aubrey, I don’t ask women to stay here. I only have when I had something of a relationship and that’s rare. You’re here because I wanted you here so make yourself at home.” I frowned, wondering how many of those there had been. He reached out to pull me close to him, kissing my lips hungrily as I moaned against him. Our bodies were pressed together, hot and damp with sweat as things heated up between us. I remembered how Kyle always insisted that he brush his teeth before kissing me in the morning even if it was a peck. This morning, I didn’t care as our tongues danced together. The minty taste in my mouth was enough, and I closed my eyes as he controlled the kiss.
David rolled to his back, and I knew where he was headed with this. I pressed my mouth to his and felt his cock harden against my pussy as my nipples pebbled against his chest. His hands slid over my body, softly stroking me as our mouths fused together. David pulled away and sucked at my neck. “Ride my cock, Aubrey.”
I pulled away and stared at him nervously as he reached to the side. I didn’t watch, but I knew that he was getting a condom. I took it from him and scooted back to stare at his erection as I turned the wrapper in my hands. This was another first for me. I ripped it open and pulled it out as I glanced from the condom to his tip. I brought it down, giving David questioning looks as I sheathed him. When the latex was covering his cock, I moved forward and straddled his body. He pressed against my clit and I moaned as I rose to allow him inside of me.
He filled me as I dropped over him slowly, moaning his name. The room was bright, and he could see all of me, but the embarrassment didn’t bother me. I rose and pressed down as I adjusted to him inside of me as well as how the slight pain that I felt. It wasn’t enough to stop me, and I started to move over him as his hands gripped my hips.
Our moans filled the room, and I lost myself in the rough movement of my body over his. He allowed me control until I was close to release, gripping me as I trembled above him. David moved his mouth to my nipple as I fell over him, sucking me into his mouth. Once I was coming, he started to move. David thrust up and inside of me as I moaned softly. I knew that he was close, and I closed my eyes as he drove his thick cock into me.
David cupped my ass and moved harder, grunting my name. I gasped as he stilled, knowing that he was exploding inside of the condom. I gripped the sheets and pulsed around him as his hands held me still. I pressed against him as we went limp and his hands loosened around my body. “God,” I murmured as I stroked his side.
“That is the kind of wake up a man could get used to,” David told me as I smiled. If only that was the case with us. We lay together for a little while until David’s stomach growled, making us both laugh. “How about we shower and get some food?”
“That sounds perfect. Do we shower together?” I asked as he cupped my face and kissed me.
We did shower together, and I wrapped a towel around my body. My hair was brushed out, and I glanced around for my clothes that were strewn all over the room. I didn’t want to wear everything all over again but with a skirt that short, I didn’t have much choice. I was getting back into my bra and underwear when I felt eyes on me. “I can take you home to change if you want.” David offered as I smiled. He would know where I live that way and the idea made me smile.
“Are you sure?” I asked as he nodded. I dressed in the rest of my clothes and he pulled on jeans and a gray Henley before slipping his feet into some worn Converse shoes. David grabbed a beanie and covered his hair before he grabbed some sunglasses to wear outside.
“I want to enjoy this time with you as much as possible.” He told me as we left the apartment. He locked the door, and we walked to his car as I stared at the ground. David opened his door for me and I slipped inside before playing with the loose braid over my shoulder. I guided him to my apartment, and he parked in front of my building
as I thanked him.
“I’ll be right out,” I promised him as he chuckled.
“I want to see your place,” David said as I nibbled on my lip.
“Come in.” He hopped out of the car, setting the alarm before following me to my front door. I unlocked it, feeling nervous since my place was so much smaller. It was still nice, but David lived in luxury. I pushed the door open and led him inside before setting my purse down on the table. “I’ll be right back. Help yourself to anything.” I smiled as I threw his words back in his face, watching him chuckle.
“In that case, I’d need to follow you to your room.” I blushed and walked down the short hallway to my room, pressing against the wall as I breathed in deeply. I grabbed some tight, comfortable jeans and a clingy mustard Henley to change into. I also changed out my underwear and bra and stared into my closet.
I grabbed some of my own Converse and slipped them on. I wondered what David was doing in my living room and laughed to myself. I hurried up and pushed the thought of makeup to the back of my mind. He seemed to be pleased with me as I was, and I knew that this still might not last.
I walked into the living room and found him looking over my pictures. I had many of my mom with my sister and I, and I watched as he looked closely at the images. “That’s your sister and I’m guessing that is your mom?”
“It is.” I told him as he smiled.
“You look so much like her,” he told me as I gave him a weak smile. There were times that I loved that fact and ones that I hated it.
“Thank you.” Cammie took more after our absentee father and I was almost a spitting image of my mother. David looked at me, walking forward to cup my face before pressing a soft kiss to my lips.
“Are you okay?” He asked me as I nodded. This was so sweet, but I wasn’t ready to give myself to him. I already knew that I’d be dealing with the memory of him being here after this morning.
“I am but I am starving. Let’s get some breakfast.” I wondered if he saw the pictures of Kyle and I that I hadn’t thrown away yet, but he merely nodded and led me to the door. David locked it and we walked to his car where he let me in and walked around to the driver’s side.
We drove to the outside of town and he parked near a worn building that had a decent view of the water. It wasn’t as good as the one from his condo, but the water was one of my favorite parts about Seattle. David grinned and hopped out before coming to get me. He took my hand and led me to the door, opening it for me. I glanced around the small room of about twenty tables scattered about, inhaling the scent of bacon and coffee.
“Hey, you.” A pretty blonde looked at us, smiling brightly at David. “It’s been a while.”
“Tour,” he replied as she nodded.
“Take any table. I’ll bring you some coffee.” I felt her eyes on me as he led me to the corner, wondering who this girl was. David scooted into a booth and I moved to sit across from him, feeling insecurity take me over. He raised a brow at me, but the blonde came up and brought us coffee as she asked David how the tour was. He chatted easily with her as I fixed my cup, smiling and greeting her when he introduced us.
When we were alone, he looked at me across the table. “What are you thinking?”
“Nothing. Just looking at the menu,” I replied as he sipped his coffee and smiled crookedly at me. He was so damn hot when he did that, and I stared at him for a moment. “Do you recommend anything here?”
He suggested a breakfast dish, and we fell into a light conversation. He asked about Cammie and I shared some carefully selected memories with him. David admitted that she slept with his guitarist a few times and I laughed as he let a guilty expression cross his face. “I figured as much. She’s the bold one of the two of us.”
“I don’t know about that. You were very bold last night.” He leaned forward after we ordered, and I blushed.
“That was so unlike me. I think… I was just feeling a little wild.” I replied softly as I stirred my coffee.
Chapter Seven
David
I stared across the table at Aubrey as she shifted in her seat. She looked nervous, and I sipped my coffee as I took her in. She was sexy and confident when we were in bed last night and this morning, but I sensed something in her that made her pull back.
“Are you okay?” I asked her as she smiled.
“I am just overwhelmed. I mean, I was watching you at a concert last night and here we are after spending the night together. I feel like it’s a dream.” She shrugged, and I had to acknowledge the truth in that.
“It was one of the best nights of my life. It was one of the most… genuine ones I’ve had in a long time.” I thought back to all the years of touring and band stuff and loved it. I was working my dream job, but it wasn’t reality. Looking back at Aubrey, I knew that she was the real thing. “I liked everything about it, Aubrey. I think I’d like to see you again.”
Her eyes widened, and she stared at me. “What?”
“I am off tour for a bit. We’re working on our next album and I’ll be home. I am not going to lie and tell you that I will have a lot of free time, but I can carve some out. What do you do for work?” I asked, realizing that we hadn’t spoken much. The sex was amazing and everything, but I didn’t want her to just disappear now that it was done. She wasn’t most girls.
“I work from home doing freelance work. I don’t have a job away from home.” I grinned. I knew that she could see me freely that way and thought that she might keep my odd hours. “You want to see me?”
“I do.” I replied as she took a long breath. “I do. I want to get to know you.”
“Wow,” Aubrey murmured as she watched the waitress set our plates down. I allowed her time to think as I prepared my plate and thought about the next few months.
There were so many things I wanted to do with Aubrey, to her. The sex last night was incredible, but we didn’t do everything that I wanted to. I didn’t move as fast as I would have with another one-night stand despite the heat between us. I hadn’t dated a woman in a long time. I slept with them and left but now I wanted to take her out to dinner, to the movies, and on a cheesy romantic picnic in the park. I glanced at her as she took a small bite of bacon, staring at her coffee.
Most of the girls that I spent any time with were groupies that wore too much makeup and not enough clothing. Aubrey was natural and had the girl next door look that was a refreshing change. She glanced at me, still looking stunned as I leaned forward. “Is it my lifestyle that is making you hesitant with me?”
She reached for her coffee, sipping slowly as she looked thoughtful for a long moment. “That’s a part of it. It’s not every night that I leave a concert with a man, much less a singer I’ve been crushing on for a long time. I know that isn’t something that will probably ever happen again. But…” She sighed. “I just got out of an engagement. It wasn’t my choice.” I knew that she’d been hurt when we met and, in the way, that it took her a while to give herself completely to me. Her eyes looked scared, and she shrank back from me slightly as I reached for her.
“What happened?” I asked her as she narrowed her eyes painfully.
“I saw him kissing someone on the street.” Her voice was filled with pain and I winced. What the fuck was he thinking letting go of Aubrey? I wondered if he didn’t see the side of her that I had last night. People were married for years sometimes and didn’t know one another. “I kicked him out of our place and I’m starting the process of canceling everything.”
“When?” I asked her as she drew her lip into her mouth.
“Just this week,” was her answer, and I understood her indecision. She was still reeling from the discovery of her fiancé cheating and last night she slept with me. I sounded a lot like a fucking rebound to me, but I never minded that in the past. Looking at Aubrey, she didn’t seem the type to rebound like this. She was as drawn to me as I was her. There was something there, and I wanted to work through this with her.
“Oh.” I
said slowly, stabbing a piece of sausage with my fork.
“I spent the last few nights thinking about this, before I met you. I know now that Kyle and I weren’t meant to be, David. We didn’t have the connection that he had with the woman on the street and I became all too aware that we probably never did. He was just my high school boyfriend my senior year, and we kept going when I graduated.” I nodded, chewing as I waited for her to keep going. “Saying yes to the cliché proposal at a restaurant just made sense. I planned the wedding with his mom and sister. It was all so normal.”
The guy sounded like a douchebag. If I were to ever propose to a woman, it would be somewhere private. I would do it in a way that she could be herself and not say yes with the crowd waiting for her answer.
“I hope you don’t mind me saying so, but he didn’t deserve you to begin with.” I stated as she looked at me. “You were lucky to catch him and be able to move on. No real man would be such a coward.” I watched as Aubrey looked confused for a moment.
“You’re a Rockstar. I was under the impression you didn’t know a lot about being serious with a girl.” Her voice sounded confused, and I stared at her.
“I haven’t been most of the time, but I am not a fucking cheater. The one girl I did try to make something with bitched about my career while she spent my money.” Her eyes showed sympathy as she tore off another piece of bacon. “I haven’t met anyone remotely interesting since then, Aubrey. Something about you is different.”
“I feel it,” she smiled weakly. “I have never been so aggressive with a man before, if that’s the right word? I could say it’s because you’re David Foster of Seven Lean but it’s more than that.”
“So, you’ll keep seeing me?” I asked as she blushed. “We’re sleeping together so I won’t be with anyone else. I never liked that kind of lifestyle, Aubrey.”
“Are we?” She asked with an impish look as I tilted my head at her with a curious expression. “Sleeping together?”
