Wet for Christmas: A Rockstar Romance

I unlocked the door and walked in, seeing the TV on and smelling the scent of food in the air. “Baby?” I called out as I glanced around.
“I’m on the couch,” she told me as I peered over to see her curled up on the pillows with her kindle in her hand. “How’s the voice?”
“I’m going to talk softly tonight.” I assured her as she smiled brilliantly at me. “How was your day?”
“It was fun. That’s all you’ll get.” She made a zipping motion with her hand and I rolled my eyes as I walked around to drop to the floor in front of her. I dropped my keys on the coffee table and leaned in to kiss her, letting my lips linger on hers.
“That’s all?” I asked, sliding my hand down her body, stroking the cotton covered crotch of her yoga pants. She whimpered as she shifted under me, still trying to read as I looked at her. “Did you spend my money like a good girl?”
“I hated doing that,” she moaned as I pressed harder, rocking against me. I removed the kindle from her with my free hand and set it on the table before cupping her breast with it. I kissed her again when my stomach growled, and I groaned.
“Fuck me,” I muttered as she giggled.
“Make a plate and eat. We can talk about that later.” Aubrey told me as I kissed her again, slow and deep. “You worked your ass off today, David. Go.” I pushed myself up and went to the kitchen, pulling containers from the fridge and filling a plate. I heated it up while I made some hot water for tea, adding honey and lemon to the cup. After a few minutes, I brought both to the couch and sat beside her as Aubrey cuddled up against me. “The cashier recognized your name. I copped to the fact I was marrying you. I hope she doesn’t get mouthy about it.”
“I’m proud to be marrying you, baby.” I reminded her as she pressed a kiss to my jaw.
“Cammie had to tell her that the baby daddy was Brent, too.” I laughed at that, not surprised at all. Cammie was the bolder of the two, but I suspected it had to do with the fact she was the older sister. She was almost more like a mom to Aubrey.
I took a bite of the food, groaning at the taste. It was fucking perfect and Aubrey laughed at me. I looked at her ring as her hand rested on my thigh, sparking in the lights from the TV. I knew that it was perfect for her as soon as I saw it. Aubrey wasn’t the type to wear something huge and this was stunning without being flashy. It suited her perfectly and the simple band that went with it would be perfect. I never did tell her how much I spent on it just like she wouldn’t tell me about her dress now. She watched the movie playing on TV as I ate, always close to me. Aubrey did tell me about the lunch they’d enjoyed and how much she loved my mom and how Cammie could be so embarrassing when she got loud. I knew that my mom looked at her like another daughter and Dad adored her. My sisters were in awe of her and Cammie. I shouldn’t be surprised that Cammie was such a part of the family, because one wouldn’t go too far without the other. Ever.
Once I was done, I washed the plate and poured some fresh water in my teacup. I joined her again, sipping it and setting it down before I pinned her to the couch. Aubrey fought my grasp on her wrists as I hovered over her, unable to move. “I should tie you up in the bedroom and torture you.”
“Aren’t you tired?” Aubrey asked as I leaned closer to her mouth.
“Yep. Are we alone?” I asked as she nodded slowly.
“Good,” I murmured before leaning in to kiss her again. She responded easily, and I kept her arms pinned as she parted her lips to welcome my tongue. I loved this woman with everything I had and made love to her mouth through her moans. She stopped fighting my hold after a few minutes and I pulled away to kiss her neck, testing the material of the top with my hands as I sucked her skin into my mouth.
Thin.
I ripped it, tearing the tank top off before tossing it to the side. She was bare underneath and gasped as she looked to the side. “David,” Aubrey breathed as she blinked for a moment.
“You know what music does to me, particularly when it is about you. I’ll buy you ten more of those shirts,” I promised her before nipping at her earlobe. She relaxed under me since that was like an aphrodisiac to her. I kissed down her neck and slipped a hand into her hair before I kissed the soft space between her breasts. Her nipples were pebbled and ready for me and I pinched one as I sucked on the other lightly.
“Oh, God. I think you should record all of the time.” She moaned as I bit down, tugging gently. We ended up kissing as she slipped her pants off and tore at my clothes. I turned her over the top cushions and fucked her that way, needing the release after the emotions of the day. She groaned as I took her, still sensitive from coming with my tongue on her clit a few moments ago. “David. Fuck.” She moaned as I gripped her ass in my hand, still driving myself inside of her tight pussy. I came hard, deep inside of her as I felt my come shoot out.
“Aubrey. I love you. I can’t wait until this gives you our baby,” I groaned, not thinking as she gasped.
“What?” She asked as I played back my words.
“Fuck. I was just thinking out loud. I think I’m getting caught up with all the baby stuff with Cam and Brent,” I admitted as she laughed softly.
“Me, too. I kind of want one of my own.” I kissed her back, tasting her sweat as she panted.
“Let’s find a house, baby. Let’s start our life so we can have our own place to bring a baby home to.” I urged her before kissing her neck.
“The wedding,” she murmured as I pulled her against me, resting us on the wide couch before settling beside her.
“That’s all taken care of. Between my family and yours, every detail is ironed out. We’re good to look around. We can take it slow and pick something we both love, but you have to realize I can get us a nice house. We can get us a nice house and you deserve that with as much as you work. Allow yourself that.” I kissed her softly as hesitation crossed her face.
“I guess I am so used to watching every penny or working so much that I don’t have to. It’s always been feast or famine for us…until you and Brent.” I knew that this was the truth and stroked her damp hair back as she looked at me. “I don’t want to be that girl that takes all of your money.”
“You are going to be my wife. Big fucking difference, baby. We’re working towards our future together.” I kissed her nose and she smiled weakly.
“Okay,” Aubrey agreed, dragging out the word.
“Good. Finally.” I laughed and kissed her softly, trying to convey how much I loved her through my actions. We stayed on the couch until I couldn’t keep my eyes open any longer and she urged me to get up and go to bed. She agreed to join me, telling me how much she missed me, and I gave in. Aubrey locked the doors and shut off the lights before following me to our room, where I crawled under the covers heavily. She stripped off her clothes and joined me, curling against me as she kissed my chest. I knew that I should take a shower, but I didn’t have it in me. “Love you.”
“I love you,” she murmured as I slipped a hand into her hair, comforted by her presence beside me.
We recorded for two weeks straight. We were all perfectionists and needed to agree on every detail, something I made us agree to when we hit it big. We were a team, brothers who worked together. We needed to find our happiness together as well. The nights seemed late even though we eased up during the last few days. I went home that last night and grabbed some take out, so I could relax with my fiancée and brother for the evening. Vanessa was shooting a friend’s wedding out of town and Jacob had to stay home because he had a job in a couple of days.
We watched some sports scores and ate as Aubrey leaned comfortably against me. I knew that she’d been busy writing, working part-time at the catering business and doing last minute wedding preparations and was tired herself. She was now helping Sarah as she came back to full-time hours slowly and trying to take some work off of Cammie’s shoulders. I tried to tell her to stop but she insisted. She kept telling me to take care of myself.
I asked her to not work at
all the following day and stay in bed with me, kissing her firmly as Jacob went to the bedroom to talk to Vanessa. I’d asked him to be my best man in the smaller wedding and Aubrey asked Cammie. Since I was close to the entire band, I skipped asking any of them, so it wouldn’t seem like I was picking favorites. We made love gratefully, knowing we could relax and focus on us for a while.
Chapter Twenty-Two
Aubrey
I was at Cammie’s to help her wash the latest batch of baby clothes and just hang out while Brent and David had a band dinner with their manager. They both wanted to stay home with us, but we shoved them out the door and got to work. Cammie was nearing the seven-month mark now and getting bigger as well as grumpier. “Are you ready for the shower?”
“Brent thinks we don’t need one. We have enough shit in his opinion.” She said as she looked over the growing pile of pink clothing before giving me a warm look. “We decided on a name.”
“What?” I asked as she leaned back against the wall.
“Aurora for Mom and the middle name Jane for his favorite grandma.” I gasped as I hugged her, taking care to be gentle with her growing stomach.
“Perfect. I wanted you to do that, but it isn’t my baby,” I smiled as I gazed at her. “I might name my own daughter Aurora too, if that’s okay. Change it up a bit?” I laughed, and she joined me.
“Her middle name was so pretty too. Rosalind would be great.” Cammie told me as she smiled. “Is there something you need to tell me?”
“No, no, no! We have a wedding to worry about and house shopping. It is in the future though.” I admitted as she smiled and stroked her stomach.
“I thought you would be first, to be honest. I wasn’t sure if it would happen before the wedding or after, but I knew that it was your future. I never thought it would be me, especially like this.” She laughed, and I knew she was happy even through her moments of slight panic. Emotions were running high with the pregnancy and I was there to calm her down.
“Brent adores you. He had his moment of fear, but he is all in now. I might be a little jealous of the way he talks to the baby and kisses her.” I told her as she giggled. “I wonder how David will be.”
“He looks at you like you are his world. He’s going to be perfect.” Cammie assured me as I smiled. “Think everything is ready for the wedding?”
“I think so. I’m glad it’s a smaller ceremony.” I said as we both relaxed against the wall.
“Even if the cashier ratted that she met you. At least she didn’t give a name.” Cammie sighed, and I rolled my eyes. She was livid, and I was certain that the store would hear about it when we went in for alternations. I calmed her down and David’s lawyer through the record company made sure that no major details were revealed. David was fine with that since it wasn’t like he was hiding the engagement to begin with. Fans on the website hated that but he told me that they could deal with it.
I smiled thinking of that conversation. I was still getting used to being with someone so famous that had rabid fans. I kept out of the spotlight and left him to his life, letting him handle things. “It’s fine. She was so excited. She said she met the woman pregnant with Brent’s baby as well. What do you think that did to fans?” I teased her as she laughed.
“Brent is not the singer, but I am sure some hearts were broken. Too bad. He is mine, all mine!” She let out the familiar laugh that she used to try to scare me with when we were younger.
“He sure is.” I closed my eyes and let out a slow breath. “I wish Mom was here for this.”
“I do, too. She’d be thrilled with all of this. Planning every last detail and probably doing it as cheap as possible while making it beautiful.” Cammie agreed as I sighed. “I hope I am half the mom that she was.”
“You are a wonderful mom. You took over when she was gone and sacrificed your life for me. You deserve everything you’re getting right now.” I assured her, reaching for her hand.
“She left something for us when we got married. It isn’t much, but the lawyer called me after she died.” Cammie said as I opened my eyes.
“What is it?” I asked as Cammie smiled.
“There’s a ring of her mother’s that could be used as a wedding ring but honestly? Yours is stunning and we never met the woman. There are also two necklaces that Dad gave her before he left, and she wants us each to have one. It’s the last thing he ever gave her.” I thought back to the vague memory of his dark hair and pale eyes that dimmed with every year he’d been gone and wiped at my eyes. “They are her birthstone.”
Rubies. I always loved that stone because it reminded me of her.
“I think we should wear them on the wedding day, both of us. I also think that we can make something from the diamonds in the ring, so we can split it. I know that Brent will get me something as gorgeous as your ring.” She declared as I raised a brow at her.
“Have you been talking about it?” I demanded as she giggled.
“Not directly.” She replied as I stared her down. “I’m pregnant. We talk about a lot.”
“I’ll be in your wedding before you know it. Should I get knocked up quickly, so I can follow in your footsteps?” I teased her as she giggled.
“We’ll see. I might just elope.” I hit her arm and she held her hands up. “Hey! Don’t beat up the preggo.”
“You are not eloping. If I can handle a wedding, so can you.” I told her as she laughed.
We moved to the living room and I made us spaghetti for dinner as Cammie relaxed on the couch. I looked around the chef’s kitchen and open living room as I stirred the sauce. It was beautiful in here and the living room in my place could probably fit in this kitchen. Maybe we should look around and even get a house near here.
I served Cammie a plate and joined her to eat, focusing on the movie playing on the huge TV. Brent was a guy that was proud of his hard work and bought the good stuff, something Cammie loved but didn’t take advantage of. I knew that I needed to let loose a little bit and enjoy life. Mom would want that.
I washed the dishes and poured some wine for me while Cammie sipped on a lemon La Croix. She glared at my glass of red and mock rolled her eyes, but I knew that she’d choose the baby over the wine. Just after nine, we heard the door and Cammie sighed in her sleepy state as the guys walked in. “Is she done?” Brent asked as he looked at her with a loving glance.
“Maybe. I made pasta for dinner and I think she’s full and overloaded on carbs.” I admitted as he dropped his keys in the bowl by the table. I smiled at David. “How was dinner?”
“Good. Things look great with the album.” He placed his keys near Brent’s and came around to sit with me on the plush couch. I saw the appreciative look he gave the room, knowing exactly what he was thinking. David kissed me, and I closed my eyes, losing myself in it for a moment.
“I might sleep out here with her if I can’t rouse her. You guys are welcome to the guest room,” Brent offered as I pulled away from David.
“Are you sure?” I asked as I looked at Brent.
“She’s comfortable and sleeping is valuable at this stage of the game. You might need a chair for the wedding.” He shot me an apologetic look and I smiled.
“Short ceremony.” I grinned. I had no desire for something drawn out.
“Thank you for that.” He said with a sincere smile as David stood, holding out his hand.
“Want to go home?” He asked as I smiled.
“Here’s good. Do you have the energy to look on the computer for a while?” I knew that Cammie had hers on the kitchen table and he raised a brow at me.
“What are we looking at?” He asked as he pulled me up. I merely grinned and went to grab the MacBook before leading the way to the guest bedroom. Once inside, I kicked off my leggings and left David’s short on as I settled against the pillows. “Baby? What are we looking at?”
I pulled up Zillow on the screen and typed in Brent’s address. “I was looking around the house tonight and found that I quite l
iked the space. I mean, we could fit our living room in Brent’s kitchen.”
“Yes, we could. What’s your point?” I saw his shirt hit the floor out of the corner of my eyes but forced my eyes to stay on the screen. He moved beside me and kissed my cheek before looking at the computer. “Zillow? Has all my nagging set in finally?”
“Maybe, baby. Maybe I just want more space. At any rate, it’s worth a look.” He wrapped an arm around me and pulled me against him. “I also love this neighborhood.”
“I do too.” We looked at the nearby houses and discussed what we liked and didn’t like. I found it to be a compromise when I agreed to something bigger than what I originally wanted but smaller than the colossal mansion that he was talking about. I was open to five or six bedrooms, so he could have his studio and I could have an office, all while our future children had their own rooms. I did like the idea of a theater in the basement.
David emailed his agent with the listings that we liked and then lifted the shirt over my head. “You’re sexy when you decide you want something.”
“Like when I decided I wanted you?” I teased as he pushed me back against the pillows.
“Totally. That was hot as fuck.” David kissed me, pressing his bare chest against mine as I wrapped my arms around his neck to pull him closer. I loved this man and was as attracted to him as ever, all while still needing to pinch myself to make sure this wasn’t a dream. He pressed himself between my legs, kissing me senseless before he was inside of me. “I. Love. You.” He told me as he thrust slowly, staring into my eyes.
“I love you, Mr. Foster.” I told him as he grinned wickedly.
“Aubrey Foster has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it?” He asked as he pulled out of me. “Unless you are going to keep Relles?”
“No. I love your name and since Mom died, I don’t need the name Relles. She only kept it since it was our last name.” I explained, reaching out to grab his ass. “Get inside of me.”
