“You know, there are lots of positions for us to try,” she said.
“Positions?” he asked.
Suki smiled. “Oh, yeah. There are many different ways to have sex. Why don’t I show you another one?”
When she pushed on his chest, Tark rolled to his back, taking Suki with him. She straddled his hips, placing her hands on his abdomen and sitting upright. As her hips shifted, he grew hard again. Suki had a wicked look in her eyes as she gazed down at him.
“What is it, mate?” he asked.
Suki reached for his hand, then placed it on her breast. “You can squeeze my breasts, as long as you don’t do it too hard. My nipples are really sensitive. I like it when you pinch and pull on them. If you do anything that hurts, I’ll let you know.”
“And here?” he asked, rubbing the nub between her thighs again.
“Ohh, that feels good. I like when you rub me there, but you don’t have to do it quite so gently. It’s okay to put pressure on my clit. You can pinch or tug on it too, if you’d like, just not too rough.”
Suki lifted her hips, then lowered herself on his cock. Tark watched her, mesmerized as her breasts bounced and swayed with her movements. Even though it felt amazing, having her ride him, he wanted her to feel just as good. He tugged on her nipples and gripped her hip with his cybernetic hand. As he pinched and pulled on the tips, he helped guide her movement. When she started coming, Tark didn’t think he could handle much more. Using both hands, he held her hips firmly and slammed her down onto his cock as he thrust upward.
Suki’s head tipped back, exposing the column of her throat, and she leaned back, bracing her hands on his thighs. The sexiest sounds came from her lips as she came twice more. Tark didn’t know how he’d found his control when it came to having sex with his mate, but he felt a rush of pleasure at making her come so many times. Tark’s cock jerked and he groaned as he filled her with his release, every hot spurt making his balls draw up tighter.
Suki collapsed on his chest, panting for breath, her hair clinging to her sweat soaked brow.
“I think you have the hang of it now,” she said.
Tark smiled and ran his fingers through her long locks.
“Is there anything you’d like?” he asked. “A bath? A tour of Xpashta?”
She sighed. “I’d love to soak in a tub of hot water, but by bath, I’m going to assume you mean a shower like onboard your ship.”
He frowned. He’d never thought of having one of those sunken pools of water in his home. The standing unit was fine for him, but a female might prefer one of the soaking pools. Now that he had a mate, he wanted to ensure she had everything she wanted or needed. Perhaps he could have one added, or ask to build a new home his mate might like better.
“How do humans bathe on your world?” he asked, wanting to know about Suki and where she came from. Until Maggie, he’d never met a human before, and Lathim didn’t exactly encourage single males to have lengthy conversations with his mate. The few humans Tark had encountered hadn’t wanted to speak with him either. Until his Suki, most females had tried to get out of his path as quickly as possible.
“Well, we have showers or tubs. The tubs sit on the floor and you can fill them with water, then let it drain through a hole that goes into the floor and runs through pipes under the house. How is it done here?”
“Some of my fellow cyborgs have homes with sunken pools, but I believe most are like mine with just the standing cleansing unit. If you would like one of the pools, I can find out if one can be added.”
“I don’t have to have one, Tark, but it’s sweet of you to offer. This home is the best I’ve lived in for so very long. Even when I was on Earth, my home was smaller than this. You don’t need to change anything,” Suki said.
“This is your home now, not just mine,” he said. “I want you to be happy with me, Suki. I don’t want you to regret ever choosing me as your mate.”
She smiled a little. “Tark, having a tub isn’t going to change how I feel about being here with you. Would one be nice? Of course. But it isn’t something I absolutely have to have.”
“There’s something else. My job is off world. There will be times I need to leave, and you may be alone for several of your Earth weeks or possibly even months. If you’d prefer that I stay nearby, I can ask for a job here on Xpashta.”
She was silent, her teeth denting her lower lip. Her gaze met his. “As much as I would love to have you here all the time, I’m not going to ask you to change your job, or anything about you. I would imagine that every job is important to your people, and you were selected for yours for a reason. I’m not selfish enough to have you give it up.”
Tark ran his fingers through her hair. She really was the perfect mate. As much as he hated all that she’d endured since leaving her planet, he was glad that she was here with him. If he hadn’t found her sister lying in the alley, he would have never known about Suki, and he would have missed out on having the sweetest of mates.
“What will I do while you’re gone?” she asked. “Is there some way I could help on Xpashta?”
“None of the females have a job. Shaylee is the closest, I suppose. She asked to create small gardens, and she’s rather good at it. Maybe you could help her, if you like working with plants.”
Suki nodded. “I don’t really have any skills that would do much good here. Not unless you plan to open a brothel on your world.”
He tightened his arm around her, then loosened his grip so he wouldn’t harm her. “You will never do that again. You’re free, Suki. It’s why I wanted you to wait until we arrived before you chose your mate. You could have had anyone here, and now you’re stuck with me, the least desirable cyborg on our world.”
She leaned up and peered down at him. “I think you’re sexy, and I like how big you are. Being with you makes me feel safe because I know that no one would ever get past you to hurt me ever again.”
“Any who dared to try would die a slow and painful death,” he vowed.
Tark narrowed his eyes, feeling another cyborg trying to communicate. He allowed the transmission to come through, surprised it was Querrill.
The Mystic7 is landing soon. We need you and your new mate to come on board.
Tark tried to contain his snort. Not likely. He wasn’t about to put Suki in danger.
Why do you need my mate? And how did you even know I have one?
Querrill responded immediately. Everyone knows. The Commanders notified everyone, including where and how you found her. There are others, Tark, other females suffering and in need of rescuing. We need your mate to convince them we mean no harm, and to come to Xpashta with us.
Tark didn’t like the idea of other females suffering as his Suki had, but he also didn’t want to endanger his mate. He’d only just found her. What if something went horribly wrong on the mission? What if a slaver snatched her and he couldn’t find her again? What if someone offered her a way back to Earth and she decided to take it, changing her mind about living with a beast such as him?
“What’s wrong?” Suki asked.
“It’s the medic on another ship, the Mystic7. They’ve found other females in a situation like yours. They want the both of us to board the ship and go with him in an effort to rescue the females and bring them here,” Tark said.
“When do we leave?” she asked.
“We aren’t. I’m not putting your life in jeopardy, Suki. That kind of mission is far too dangerous for you.”
“Tark, please don’t ask me to sit here where it’s safe while other women are hurting and being used. I wouldn’t be able to live with myself if I could have helped put a stop to it. They’ll be scared, thinking your people are just as evil as the other aliens they’ve met. Please. Let me help,” she begged.
He closed his eyes and tried to come up with reasons she should remain home. When his gaze locked with hers, he knew that he couldn’t deny her request. If she wanted to help the other females, then he would let her, but h
e would remain by her side the entire time. No one would hurt his Suki, not ever again.
“Very well. I’ll let Querrill know that we’ll board the Mystic7 when it arrives on Xpashta. You’ll need to pack some clothes, and we should probably select some garments for any females we rescue. Since you all come in different shapes and sizes, stretchy things that would fit anyone would be best.”
She nodded.
My mate has agreed to help. We’ll be ready when the Mystic7 arrives. We’re bringing clothing for any females you take on board.
He received a confirmation and landing time from Querrill, then rose from the bed to begin preparing. He and Suki rinsed off in the cleansing unit and dressed before gathering the items they needed for the trip. Querrill hadn’t stated where they were going, and Tark could only hope it wasn’t one of the more lawless outposts.
Suki added four of her outfits to what Tark had set aside. While he shoved everything into his bag, she braided her hair and tied it off with a leather strip. He remembered Lathim buying pretty hair things for his mate and wished he had something nice like that to give Suki. He’d have to look for more shiny things to gift her while they were at a trading post. Once he’d finished packing, they grabbed an empty bag and went back to the storage area, selecting half a dozen things for any women they might be able to rescue.
The Mystic7 landed on schedule and Tark led Suki up the ramp, pausing in the cargo area when he saw eight bunks set up and only a small handful of crates. Normally, the vessel’s cargo hold would be full to bursting with items for their world. It seemed they’d abandoned their mission at some point and begun searching for females, not that he couldn’t understand. Finding females was crucial to their people.
Querrill met them in the corridor just outside the cargo area. He smiled when he saw Suki, but kept his distance.
“Welcome aboard the Mystic7,” Querrill said.
“Suki, this is Querrill. He’s the medic onboard,” Tark said.
Suki gave the cyborg a bashful smile and a little wave.
“I have quarters set up for you,” Querrill said. “Lathim has opted to stay home with his mate for the past few missions, so Milore is the captain for this trip.”
“Who else is on board?” Tark asked.
“Zorlok, Sanz, Pendrik, and Norkov. Warver will be joining us as well,” Querrill said.
“And the beds in the cargo hold?” Tark asked. “Who are those for? Surely you aren’t going to put the rescued females in there!”
“Only if an overflow area is required. We know of at least three human females at the floating brothel near Klaxion Prime. Zorlok and Sanz have agreed to share quarters, and we’ve placed two extra beds in Zorlok’s quarters for the females. If there are more than that we can rescue, the overflow area will be needed. Pendrik and Norkov are also sharing a space so that you and Suki may have a room,” Querrill said.
“Just how many rooms are there?” Suki asked.
“Six, which means we really don’t have any to spare. When Lathim found Maggie, he claimed her immediately, but if he hadn’t there wouldn’t have been a place for her to stay unless someone gave up their quarters,” Querrill said.
“This ship is far too large for only six rooms,” Tark said, his eyebrow lifted.
“We have the med bay, the galley, command center, weapons hold, cargo hold, two supply rooms, and a few rooms that aren’t in good enough shape to be turned into sleeping quarters. They’re a work in progress,” Querrill said. “Follow me and I’ll show you to your quarters while you’re onboard.”
Tark grasped Suki’s hand and they followed the medic down the corridor. Querrill pushed open a door, motioned them inside, then made himself scarce.
Tark put their things away before pulling Suki into his arms. She melted against him. If he lost her, if anything bad happened because she’d joined him on this mission, he would never forgive himself. The most precious thing to him was pressed against his body, and if he lost her, he knew he would lose his will to live.
“My mate,” he said softly, tightening his hold on her. There was much he wanted to say to her, and yet he couldn’t find the words. He only hoped she knew how much he needed her, wanted her, and how lucky he felt to have her in his life.
Since he didn’t know how to tell her, he decided to show her. Tark stripped both himself and his mate quickly, then pinned her to the wall. The heat in her gaze was enough to tell him that she liked it. Her legs wound around his waist and his cock brushed against her slit. She was wet, but not wet enough for his liking. Tark reached between them and rubbed the little nub at the top of her pussy. Suki reached up and cupped her breasts, rolling her nipples between her fingers. Tark’s cock jerked in response to the erotic sight and he pinched down on the little bud. Suki’s body tensed and she made a keening sound as her pussy got incredibly wet.
Satisfied that he wouldn’t hurt her, Tark adjusted his stance, lined up his cock, and sank into his mate. A groan tore from his throat and he fought to keep his eyes opened, his gaze locked on hers. Suki placed her hands on his shoulders and held on. Every drive of his cock made her cry out and beg for more.
“Don’t stop,” she begged. “Harder.”
Tark felt his balls draw up and he gave her exactly what she’d asked for, slamming into her again and again. Her cries filled the air and made him feel downright primitive. He’d not liked the idea of fucking his mate, the term seeming too harsh, but that’s exactly what he was doing. Fucking her. Giving her every inch of his cock, as hard and as deep as he could.
When she came, screaming out his name, Tark thrust a few more times, then filled his mate with his release. At first, he worried he might have hurt her, that he’d been too rough, but the smile she gave him said he’d done everything just right. Tark swelled with pride over pleasing his mate, and as she wiggled against him, other parts of him got bigger too. Before she’d even had a chance to come down from her orgasm high, he was taking her again. No matter how many times he buried his cock in her pussy, he’d never get enough of her.
Chapter Six
Suki wouldn’t admit that she was nervous and more than a little scared. She might have been safer at home, but knowing there were other women out there, suffering and possibly having lost hope, she knew that she needed to help in any way possible. Before Tark had found her, Suki had thought she would die in that brothel. The only thing that had kept her going was knowing that Yoko was there too. She couldn’t leave her sister.
Her heart still ached when she thought of Yoko. Her sister had used the last of her energy to ensure that Tark would come save her. Yoko hadn’t deserved to die such a horrible death, no one did, and Suki still felt like it was her fault they’d been captured. Yoko had had had such a bright future, and now she was gone. Tears misted her eyes when she thought about never getting to hug her sister again, never getting to talk about boys or laugh over stupid things. After they’d been sold and put into service, she’d doubted they would ever see their home again, but some small part of her had hoped they would find a way to escape.
Now Suki was the only one free, and Yoko had died. Thankfully, Tark had been there and poor Yoko hadn’t been alone at the end. She’d gotten to see the cyborg’s kind eyes. If only Tark could have saved both of them! Suki knew that Yoko that would have loved Xpashta, and possibly even found a cyborg of her own. Maybe Rorwick would have liked Yoko. She still felt bad that Jillian had left, leaving the cyborg looking broken and defeated. If he was a friend of Tark’s, then Suki had no doubt that he was honorable and would be kind to whatever female he claimed. Her mate wouldn’t be friends with someone who would harm a female.
Suki stared at the door to their quarters, her hands trembling and her heart pounding. She’d been assured that it was safe to move freely on board, that she was protected. They’d been on board for two days and so far, she hadn’t left their room without Tark by her side. No one had said or done anything to offend her, or that made her feel threatened. Tark had t
old her that his people were now her people. It had been so long since she’d had anyone other than Yoko, it felt strange to depend on other people and she found it hard to trust other aliens after all that had happened to her.
Squaring her shoulders, Suki approached the door and when it slid open, she stepped into the corridor. Looking one way then the other, she saw that she was completely alone. She made her way toward the front of the ship in hopes she’d find Tark along the way. He had left this morning before her, or what she assumed to be morning, and she had no idea where he would be. A few cyborgs smiled at her as she passed, but none made a move to get closer to her. Suki breathed a little easier and kept up her search for Tark.
“Good morning, Suki,” Querrill said as she passed the med bay.
“Good morning,” she said, then frowned. “But how do you know it’s morning? You don’t wear watches and all you can see outside is open space.”
He smiled faintly. “Cyborg, remember? Consider it a perk. Besides, once you’re used to being out in space, you become in tune with the cycle of a day, even when there aren’t suns or moons.”
She nodded. It had never happened for her, that attunement to the day, but then she wasn’t a super soldier alien. She peered into the med bay, but still didn’t see her mate.
“Looking for Tark?” Querrill asked.
“Yes. Have you seen him?”
The cyborg hesitated.
“What? Is something wrong with Tark?” she asked, feeling panic well inside her again.
“Not exactly, but he isn’t on board right now,” Querrill said.
“Not on…” She blinked. “Where is he?”
“They infiltrated the brothel. He’s part of the crew searching for the human females. While it’s not run by the same male who held you captive, the proprietor is just as nasty. The females aren’t treated well. I’ve put out a call to a few other races in search of mates in hopes they may come rescue more of the workers.”
