  Thank you all for reading! This was such a fun book to write together. Clearly, we both have a thing for these sorts of obstacle courses. It’s amazing to see how hard people train and push themselves to their limits, just like the hybrids.

  I thought I might speak a little about the collaboration. The best part about this process is just bouncing ideas off one another. It’s like a really great match of tennis. We keep lobbing ideas back and forth until someone drops the ultimate plot.

  Bet you never knew writing could be so sporty. LOL.

  After that, it’s a long and complicated process of writing and sending things back and forth. It’s been difficult at times with both my personal family and the world situation, but luckily things are getting back to normal-ish.

  Willow and I are already hard at work on the third Alpha Squad book. The general plan is to release one every other month, with the next being targeted for later July. I’m hoping to get the second Berserk book out this summer as well.

  Sometime in the next couple of months, Amazon will be opening up their new Vella reading program to readers. It’s focused on bite-sized serials. I have no firms plans for it, but will likely test it out. Unfortunately, stories in the Vella program aren’t allowed published in other forms.

  No need to worry though. I won’t be pulling any of the popular stuff to test, especially the Luna Lodge titles, but there are a few of my older contemporary books that might end up on there.

  Of course, I will keep everyone posted. If you have strong feelings one way or the other, I would love to hear them.

  Thank you for reading the latest Alpha Squad. It’s been great fun trying to think up new VPAs and crazy threats from the new villains. Sometimes it’s strange to think about how far the Luna Lodge universe has come since Sol.

  I don’t have much to add other than what Madison said in her note other than hat after we finish up on Alpha Squad three, we’ll begin plugging away at the third Devil’s Den as well. If you’re curious about the process, basically I take more of a creative lead on Devil’s Den, and she takes more of a lead on Alpha Squad.

  Author Bio: Madison Stevens

  Madison currently lives with her husband and two children in the Valley of the Sun in Arizona. After leaving the frozen tundra of the north, she was more surprised than anyone with how much she has enjoyed living in the desert. Seeing as she stated on more than one occasion before moving to Arizona how much she hated heat, it was an odd move, but it seems her hatred for sub-zero temperatures and ice has won out in the end.

  When she’s not writing, she’s enjoying time with her family. Madison and her family frequent festivals in the area, as well as local cultural events, and spend time with family in the area. In the summer, she is most likely to be found in the pool with the family and in the winter by the fireplace. Since both her children are autistic, days can be a little chaotic, but with her husband beside her, there’s nothing she can’t handle.
