The other end of the phone was silent. Then, a low voice spoke, “Please wait for a moment. I will have Commissioner Xia speak to you.” Then, he hung up the call.
Superintendent Huang was taken aback, then he burst out laughing. “Ha! Now there’s Commissioner Xia too! You guys are really into this ruse.”
Commissioner Xia was the head of Westridge District Police Headquarters. He was out of the district for an inspection on the day Tang Hao was framed, so An Zhenghua was the leader in his place.
Tang Hao only found out about that later.
“Cuff him up! Now!” Superintendent Huang pointed at Tang Hao and ordered at the police officers.
He had just finished speaking when his phone rang.

The cars drove past the bridge and stopped. Liu Dajun got off the car. In his hand was a briefcase. He led a group of people in business suits and went over to the crowd.
Hu Dahai was shocked when he saw that.
The Rolls Royce Phantom was famous in Westridge District. It was the ride of the president of Brilliant Property.
‘That’s President Liu? He shouldn’t look this thin though? Why would he be at this run-down mountain village anyway?’
Hu Dahai was puzzled. He was about to open his mouth to greet him when he saw Liu Dajun waving toward their direction and shouting, “Lil Tang, your big brother is here. I’ve brought your one hundred and fifty thousand yuan.

Tang Hao crouched next to his leg and gently smeared the medicine from the bowl on to the leg.
Shi Xuefeng trembled and grunted. He gritted his teeth and endured the pain. Cold sweat beaded on his forehead.

“Are you sure this works, Lil Hao?” Zhang Hongfang asked worriedly.
“Don’t worry, this medicine is very effective. You can see the effects in an hour. I’ll massage his leg for a while afterward to force the poison out.”
Tang Hao stood up and exhaled.
An hour passed by very soon.
The open sores on his leg had shrunk. Dark red blood was oozing from the remaining sores and emitted a terrible smell.
