She turned around and prepared to leave the scene.
“Hold it right there!” Teacher Gao roared again and rushed over toward the two people.
When he neared, he reached out to pull Jiang Wanying’s hand again.
Tang Hao stepped between Teacher Gao and Jiang Wanying. He narrowed his eyes and glared at Teacher Gao. “What do you intend to do?”
“It’s none of your business! You’re just a student, and you shouldn’t meddle in adult matters. Stand aside!”
Teacher Gao stepped forward and prepared to shove Tang Hao away.
Tang Hao’s face darkened and his eyes flashed with disgust.
Teacher Gao’s behavior was unlike a role model for the students. Rather, he behaved like a pervert.
“How did a person like him become a teacher?” Tang Hao mumbled. Then, his right hand reached out and grabbed the incoming hand tightly.
“You ought to know when to quit, Teacher Gao. Are you blind? Can’t you see that Teacher Jiang does not like you at all?” Tang Hao said coldly.
As he spoke, he increased his grip strength slightly.
Teacher Gao shouted in pain. His face contorted and cold sweat poured down his forehead.
“Let go of me, dammit! I’m a teacher, and you’re just a mere student. You’re acting violently against a teacher. Do you want to be punished?” Teacher Gao roared in anger.
Behind Tang Hao, Jiang Wanying was secretly surprised. She did not imagine that Tang Hao possessed such great strength. She had originally thought that Tang Hao would be at a disadvantage.
“Let him go, Tang Hao!” Jiang Wanying said.
“Alright, since you’ve requested it, Teacher Jiang. I’ll let him off this time!” Tang Hao released his grip after he spoke.
Teacher Gao stumbled backward and fell sitting on the ground. He yelled in pain.
When he got on his feet again, his face was extremely contorted. His gaze toward Tang Hao was brimming with resentment.
He glared at Tang Hao unblinkingly, as though imprinting his face into his memory.
“Your name is Tang Hao, right? Just you wait!” Teacher Gao left his parting words and ran away pathetically.
Jiang Wanying patted her chest and breathed a sigh of relief after Teacher Gao disappeared into the distance.
Tang Hao happened to turn around while she was doing that. He was stunned.
Under her thin black fleece jacket, Jiang Wanying’s body curves were perfect, which meant that she had a voluptuous chest.
There was a slight ripple when Jiang Wanying patted herself on the chest.
Soon, Jiang Wanying noticed the problem. She hid her hands and her face blushed intensely.
“Thank you so much, Tang Hao. I would be in deep trouble if not for you,” Jiang Wanying said gratefully.
“Why did you stop me, Teacher? That bastard ought to be taught a lesson!” Tang Hao said.
Jiang Wanying was shocked when she heard that. She looked straight at Tang Hao.
“Don’t tell me you have violent tendencies, Tang Hao! Why would you want to beat him up? Teacher Gao is indeed a nuisance, but violence isn’t the answer!
“Furthermore, I stopped you because he is your teacher. You have a class with him tomorrow.”
It was Tang Hao’s turn to be shocked.
“Does that mean that I’ll be seeing him tomorrow?”
Jiang Wanying nodded. “Don’t worry. If he gives you any trouble, I’ll report him to the dean.”
“Thanks!” Tang Hao replied though he knew that he would be getting into trouble tomorrow.
That Teacher Gao seemed like a petty person. He would definitely hold the grudge, and he would make Tang Hao’s life difficult in the class tomorrow.
He might not even pass that class!
He thought for a while and found no solution. He would have to improvise against Teacher Gao’s antics.
“Are you going home now, Teacher Jiang?”
“Yup!”
“I’ll send you outside then!” Tang Hao said.
“You’re living off-campus too?”
Tang Hao nodded.
Jiang Wanying narrowed her eyes and looked at Tang Hao. Her previous doubts resurfaced again.
“I say, Tang Hao, how did you get into the university?”
“Well… Haha!” It was not convenient for Tang Hao to speak the truth.
“It’s OK if you can’t tell me!” Jiang Wanying said with a pout, “So, where are you from?”
“Westridge District! How about you, Teacher?”
“I’m not from Province Z, but from Jianghai City. Actually, I’ve only become a teacher for a few months. The class you’re in now is my first.”
They walked toward the main entrance as they chatted.
Chapter 217 - Gao Wenqiang’s Grudge
The university campus in the night was tranquil and quiet.
Two figures walked side by side on a small path.
The Z University grounds covered a vast area. Walking from the academic building to the entrance usually took seven or eight minutes. They took a lot longer because they were walking slowly.
They chatted while they walked, and Tang Hao got to understand the beautiful female teacher better.
As Jiang Wanying walked, she used her left hand to massage her right wrist. Her brows were furrowed and she occasionally grimaced. She seemed to be in pain.
That was where Teacher Gao had grabbed her earlier.
“Is it very painful, Teacher?” Tang Hao asked out of concern.
Jiang Wanying gently nodded. Her brows were tightly locked together.
Then, she lifted her wrist to show Tang Hao.
Her wrist was delicate and her skin was fair. However, there was an unnerving ring of redness around it.
“That guy was too strong! If you hadn’t come to my rescue earlier, I think I might be in real danger,” Jiang Wanying said, still feeling a little afraid.
“You ought to raise a complaint about him, Teacher Jiang. That person should not belong in a university!” Tang Hao said.
“If only it were that easy. That guy has someone backing him. His father is a veteran professor at Z University. His position won’t be threatened by this small matter,” Jiang Wanying said indignantly.
She rubbed her wrist and grimaced again.
Tang Hao smiled when he looked at her. “Let me take a look at that, Teacher.”
“What do you want to look at?” Jiang Wanying was surprised as she looked at Tang Hao.
“Your wrist! If you don’t treat it properly, it’ll be painful for a very long time. Also, the bruise won’t look nice!” Tang Hao said.
“What are you going to do?” Jiang Wanying became even more confused.
“I’ll massage it a little!” Tang Hao blurted without giving much thought.
He immediately realized that it might have been inappropriate.
As expected, Jiang Wanying was shocked, then she became serious. “Are you trying to flirt with me, Tang Hao? That’s not what a student should do!
“Remember that I’m your teacher, and you shouldn’t flirt with me.”
Even though she said so, she broke into a smile and gave Tang Hao a side-eye.
Tang Hao was a little confused. He scratched his head and said, “You misunderstand me, Teacher. I’m not giving you a normal massage.”
“So… it’s a special massage then?” Jiang Wanying looked at Tang Hao curiously.
“No, I mean, I’ve learned some traditional Chinese massage skills before. A bruise like that can be immediately healed,” Tang Hao explained urgently.
“Is that so?” Jiang Wanying remained unconvinced. “Don’t tell me that you’re making this up to take advantage of me!”
“No, it’s true!” Tang Hao said confidently.
“Tch,” Jiang Wanying said, “As if there’s some amazing massage skill that can immediately heal a bruise!”
“You’ll know after you let me try, Teacher. If it doesn’t work, you can
punish me.”
“Well…” Jiang Wanying hesitated for a while, then eventually nodded. “We’ll give it a try then. If it doesn’t work, I’ll punish you to copy the entire textbook by hand.”
“Alright!” Tang Hao agreed.
“Here, give it your best shot!” Jiang Wanying flicked her sleeve and stretched out her fair wrist.
Tang Hao carefully held the wrist with his left hand.
He took a breath, then gently massaged the wrist with his right hand.
Soon, Tang Hao let go of his hands and took a step back. “Look at your wrist, Teacher!”
Jiang Wanying seemed to be in a daze. She eventually came to her senses.
She lifted her arm and when she took a closer look, she was shocked. Her wrist was white and fair. The red mark was gone.
“Wow, that’s amazing! How did you do that?”
“I told you, it’s my special massage!” Tang Hao said with a smile.
“So you were telling the truth after all!” Jiang Wanying exclaimed. Then, she said rather embarrassedly, “I’ve misunderstood you!”
After that, the two people continued walking.
Soon, they arrived at the end of the path and parted ways at the university entrance.
Tang Hao walked toward the left, along the road.
Not far in front of him was an Audi A8. That was his car.
He walked up next to the car, opened the back door, and sat inside.
“President Tang!”
Han Yutong was in the driver seat. She turned around and greeted Tang Hao.
“How do you feel on your first day in college?”
Tang Hao grinned and replied, “It’s better than I thought. It was pretty fun, but the classes were quite boring. I’ll finish this week’s classes and probably skip next week.”
Han Yutong smiled. She turned on the car’s ignition and started driving.
For his convenience, Tang Hao had purchased a house about ten minutes’ drive away from Z University.
Han Yutong did not have many tasks in the company, and so she became Tang Hao’s driver.
That night, as usual, Tang Hao cultivated, crafted talismans, and delved deeper into his bestowed knowledge.
The next morning, he came to the university and found the location of his next class.
The teacher walked into the classroom as the bell rang.
He looked rather gentlemanly, wearing a business suit and a pair of glasses. He was Gao Wenqiang, the Teacher Gao from last night.
His current appearance was a stark contrast to the cruelty he had displayed the night before.
Gao Wenqiang stepped up to the podium and placed his items down, then scanned around the room.
He soon noticed Tang Hao sitting in the back row.
He narrowed his eyes and they flashed with hatred.
‘That’s the guy. There’s no mistake!
‘You’ve made a fool out of me last night. I’ll teach you a lesson today!’ He smirked coldly in his heart.
He hid his true feelings well, and instead showed a curious expression. He pointed at Tang Hao and said, “Hey, you… what’s your name? I don’t think I’ve seen you before! You’re not from this class, are you?”
Tang Hao raised an eyebrow when he heard that. He knew that Teacher Gao was finding fault with him.
Liu Feifei stood up and said, “Teacher Gao, he’s a transfer student. His name is Tang Hao!”
Gao Wenqiang was surprised. He did not expect Liu Feifei to speak up for that guy.
“Transfer student? Never heard of it. Does the university even accept transfer students?” Gao Wenqiang said, pretending to be confused.
“He really is, Teacher!”
The girls were speaking up for Tang Hao.
Gao Wenqiang was once again surprised.
As far as he knew, the guy had only arrived yesterday. How did he strike up such a good relationship with his classmates in only one day?
Furthermore, they were all girls.
He furrowed his brows and his face grew dark.
He indeed knew that the guy was a transfer student, but he could not admit to it. How else was he going to find fault with him?
“I’ve never heard of that before. There must be some mistake! I’ll check out with the office later. Before that, I can’t allow you to be in my class. You’d better leave now,” he said brusquely as he pointed at Tang Hao.
Chapter 218 - The Dean Is Alerted
“He really is a student here, Teacher!” Liu Feifei explained again.
“Enough of that. Do you think that you’re more informed than me of such matters? I’m putting his identity under suspicion right now, and I don’t want him in my class. Do you have a problem with that?
“I’m the teacher in this class, and it’s up to me to admit or reject whomever I want. I’m not going to let that suspicious character attend my class!”
Gao Wenqiang chided, and his expression seemed unpleasant.
Liu Feifei was at a loss for a reply, and so she sat down.
She vaguely realized that Teacher Gao was not being his usual self today, as though he had a bone to pick with Tang Hao.
She could not figure out the reason why though. It had only been Tang Hao’s second day in the university, so how would he have crossed Teacher Gao?
She could not think of a reason.
“Hey, that student there! Why are you still in your seat? Get out now! Do you hear me? I’m talking to you!” Gao Wenqiang said sternly as he slammed the table.
Tang Hao sat there and did not move.
“You…” Gao Wenqiang was getting angry. He slammed the table again, then got off the podium and walked toward Tang Hao.
The students seemed uneasy when they saw that.
The girls all had worried and doubtful expressions on their faces, which the boys were eager to watch the drama unfold.
“Teacher Gao, why don’t you give a call to Teacher Jiang? She already knows about Tang Hao. You’ll understand when you call her,” Liu Feifei said.
Gao Wenqiang had no retort to that. Instead, his expression turned vicious and he roared angrily, “Shut up!”
All the students were stunned by that roar. No one dared to make a sound after that.
“Are you leaving or not?” Gao Wenqiang walked right up to him and slammed the table.
Tang Hao lifted his head and looked at him coldly. “Why should I leave?” He said, unperturbed.
“This is my class! I don’t care if you’re supposed to be here, I have the right to ask you to leave! I’ve never heard of a transfer student, and I don’t accept transfer students in my class,” Gao Wenqiang said angrily.
“I’m not moving. Throw me out if you’re capable of that!” Tang Hao said mischievously as he sat there.
Gao Wenqiang was shocked. He did not expect that the kid did not buy into his threats.
His chest was swelling with burning anger, and he was not thinking straight.
“You dare talk back to me? Who do you think you are?”
His face was entirely contorted. In a fit of anger, he lifted a hand and slapped it toward Tang Hao.
The students all around cried in surprise when they saw that.
Tang Hao’s face darkened. He leaned backward and avoided the slap. Then, his gaze turned cold and retaliated.
Slap!
Tang Hao’s palm landed squarely on Gao Wenqiang’s cheek.
Gao Wenqiang’s face flattened. His cheek collapsed and his glasses flew across the air. Then, his entire body fell sideways, slamming his head on the table in the process.
Everyone was dumbstruck at that instant.
The classroom immediately descended into silence.
Everyone could not believe what they had just witnessed.
Tang Hao got physical and slapped Teacher Gao!
That was ridiculous!
Even Gao Wenqiang could not believe it. He wailed in pain while covering his face. As he struggled to his feet, his expression became gh
astlier than ever.
“You… You dare slap me? You, a student, dare to slap your teacher? Are you inciting a rebellion?
“Haha! Just you wait. Let me tell you, you’re finished! I’ll see you expelled from Z University!” Gao Wenqiang yelled maniacally.
Tang Hao grimaced and showed an expression of disdain.
He stood up and slapped Teacher Gao again.
The students were all beginning to feel afraid.
Even Gao Wenqiang did not expect that Tang Hao would slap him one more time.
“You’re… You’re slapping me again?” Gao Wenqiang said incredulously.
“I’ve already hit you anyway, I might as well hit you a few more times! You’re a spiteful pervert who deserves to be beaten!” Tang Hao said. He balled up his fists and started punching Geo Wenqiang.
He was not planning on getting physical with anyone on the campus grounds, but the teacher was the one who started the fight.
“You… You dare taunt me, you bastard?” Gao Wenqiang roared angrily.
“Not only that, but I’m beating you too!” Tang Hao said, then threw several more punches.
Soon, Gao Wenqiang’s face became swollen. It was a pathetic sight.
Meanwhile, the students were all staring at the scene, slack-jawed.
They had never seen a student beating up a teacher.
Cao Fei, Zhuo Hang, and the other boys shuddered. If they had gotten physical with Tang Hao yesterday, they would have been beaten up as well.
Then, they started to feel happy.
‘This guy is an idiot! Beating up a teacher? It’s a serious offense and he’ll definitely be expelled.’
“Stop it! Stop fighting!” Liu Feifei finally came to her senses and rushed to the scene of the fight.
Tang Hao kicked Gao Wenqiang away as a final blow.
“How can you do that, Tang Hao?” Liu Feifei said anxiously. “You’re in big trouble now!”
“Haha!” Gao Wenqiang laughed as he struggled to get back on his feet. He had a crazed look on his face. “You’re finished, Tang kid! All that effort spent toward getting into Z University has gone to waste!
