He was going to Dongying to kill. He could not use his real identity.

He looked inside the passport. The face on the photograph was his, but the name and information were made up.

After checking his documents, Tang Hao went online and bought a flight ticket to Dongying that midnight.

He had to get it done as soon as possible. If Ling Wei had not been living in his apartment for the past half a month, he would have departed for Dongying even earlier.

He gave a call to Sis Xiangyi before he left. He did not mention that he was going on a dangerous mission in case she was worried about him. They chatted for a bit, then he rode on a cab to the airport.

Tang Hao was worried that there might be some problems with his forged passport, but fortunately, he did not face any difficulties.

He got on the plane without any trouble. When the plane arrived at its destination, the sun had just risen.

Tang Hao exited the airport with his luggage in tow. He hailed a cab and went to the hotel in the city area.

He wore a concealment talisman on him. No one could see his face clearly.

He rested for a few hours in the hotel while planning his next move.

It was inconvenient for him to make his move in broad daylight. He had to wait until night time.

Moreover, Miki Group had many bases in the city. There was Miki Plaza downtown, their clan estate, and countless headquarters of its subdivisions.

Criminal organizations in Dongying had a long history and were tightly organized. There were tens of subdivisions under Miki Group, each with its leader.

It was too troublesome to travel around the city and kill them one by one. Killing all the associated cultivators scattered around the country would be an even more difficult task.

Tang Hao thought up of an idea. He could gather all of them in one place.

He took out a brush and paper. He dipped the brush in red ink and wrote in very big letters ‘DIE’ on the paper. Then, in a corner, he wrote down ‘Midnight, Today’. He retrieved the rings found on Toru Miki and Makoto Miki, then stuffed it into a box together with the letter.

He left the hotel, went to Miki Plaza, and found someone to deliver the box.

About five minutes later, there was a commotion from inside. Many men in black suits rushed out of the building and started searching along the street.

Tang Hao grinned. He turned around and blended into the crowd.

He knew that Miki Group had received their message. They must have thought that someone from Huaxia, perhaps Mao Mountain, had come to them.

After that, they must be gathering everyone at Miki Plaza.

That would be the time for him to take action.

He walked along with the crowd. He returned to the hotel, then closed his eyes and meditated.

The clock on the wall continued ticking. Very soon, it was eleven o’clock at night.

In the pitch-black room, a pair of eyes opened. They were brimming with killing intent.

  Chapter 370 - Only One

Late at night, on the top floor of Miki Plaza.

The spacious office was lavishly decorated. An old man in his seventies stood in front of a floor to ceiling window. He was old, but his body and eyes were spirited.

He wore a business suit. His gaze was as ferocious as a tiger or a wolf.

He was Goro Miki, Miki Group’s leader and the lord of the Miki clan.

As the leader of Miki Group, he wielded immense authority in Dongying. However, at the moment, his brows were tightly locked together and he looked worried.

Two of his grandsons had met with accidents. He only had three grandsons, and two of them were currently detained in Huaxia. He was furious about it.

He had been using his wealth and influence to gather many grandmasters in Dongying. He planned to use them to invade Huaxia and rescue his grandsons.

He did not expect that Huaxia would come knocking.

Cultivators had superhuman powers. Furthermore, Huaxia was a country with a long history of cultivation. He was worried even though there were many cultivators gathered in the building.

He knew that Huaxia would not have come to him if they were not confident of taking him down!

He sank deep in thought as he held the two rings in his hand.

A while later, the door opened. Several people came in.

“We have checked with the immigration authorities, President. No suspicious figures have entered the country recently.”

“All the combat squads are ready, President. The weapons have been distributed among them.”

“All the grandmasters have arrived, President. They are waiting for your command.”

Goro Miki furrowed his brows. “No one suspicious at all? There must be so many of them. Don’t tell me that they are all stowaways?”

“We have done a thorough check. There is no one suspicious at all. We even paid close attention to the visitors between fifty and sixty years of age,” one of the men replied politely.

Goro Miki’s brows were locked even tighter.

‘Don’t tell me… this is all a prank?’

However, the two rings were genuine. The Huaxia people must be nearby.

He glanced at his watch. It was almost midnight.

“Pass on my command. Get everyone to stay alert. The opponents are not mundane people. One mistake and you will lose your life,” he thundered.

“Hai!” The people bowed deeply, then hurriedly left the room.

Goro Miki turned around and continued looking outside the window, at the brilliant lights of the city late at night.

“Several thousand gunners, almost a hundred grandmasters… Amaterasu Shrine, Koga clan, and Iga clan. They’re all here. That should be enough. Even if the entire Mao Mountain comes, that should be enough,” he mumbled as he rubbed the rings in his palm.

However, he had an ominous feeling in his heart, which felt like a weight on his chest.

The roads that led to the building were tightly blockaded. Buses blocked the roads a hundred meters away. Squads of men dressed in black were patrolling the area.

Beyond that were the police blockades.

However, there were no police officers present.

Even the police did not dare interfere in Miki Group feuds.

Time continued to pass. The atmosphere became tense and harsh.

Dark clouds obscured the moon. The land was instantly covered in darkness.

Only Miki Plaza was illuminated in the area. Spotlights on the buses illuminated the streets.

Everyone was tense and worried under the harsh light.

The gunners knew that they were only cannon fodder. Fighting against cultivators with mere guns was futile.

Their objective was to expend the opponent’s strength as much as they could. If they were lucky, they might even kill a few opponents with their concentrated firepower.

They looked around them, keeping a close eye on any movement while glancing at their watches.

They became more anxious than ever as the clock steadily ticked toward twelve o’clock.

The people in the building were anxious too. They held their breaths as they waited for the Huaxia people to arrive so that they could shoot them first.

Time seemed to have frozen. Each second was unbearably long.

  It was finally midnight.

Everyone’s hearts were at their throats.

The gunners placed their fingers on the triggers, preparing to open fire at any time.

However, the streets remained empty. No one was seen.

  Everyone was confused.

At the same time, a cab was driving on the road leading to Miki Plaza. The car driver was a middle-aged man, humming along to the song playing on the radio.

The cab eventually reached the police blockade.

The driver was surprised. He turned around and spoke to the passenger. “Hey, the road is blocked. I can’t drive over this!”

The figure sitting in the back lif
ted his head. Somehow, the driver could not see his passenger’s face clearly.

“Stop here then! I can walk the rest of the way,” the person spoke. His halting accent gave way that he was not from Dongying.

He handed the driver a ten thousand yen note. “Keep the change!” He said.

The driver was instantly happy. He did not care who his passenger was as long as the passenger was generous. He must be a good guy.

He thanked him repeatedly, then he suddenly thought of something. “Right, why are you here for? You wouldn’t want to be caught sneaking around Miki Plaza. It’s full of gangsters.”

“I’m here to cause trouble, maybe kill some people!” His passenger said with a smile.

The driver was dumbfounded when he heard that.

The cab door opened and the figure stepped out. He was dressed in black, and he dissolved into the night.

He casually stepped past the police blockade and continued walking inside.

The cab driver looked toward the spotlight in front of him. He could vaguely see people standing there. They formed a human wall and each of them held a gun.

The cab driver instantly went slack-jawed and wide-eyed.

‘Oh my god! What is going on?

‘Is that guy a lunatic? He’s traveling alone, and he’s trying to find trouble with Miki Group? Why is he walking so calmly into that massive crowd?

‘Is he here to kill, or be killed?’

He remained stunned for half a minute when he jerked to his senses and broke out in cold sweat. He quickly turned his steering wheel around, floored the accelerator, and left the scene.

The figure continued to walk calmly on the street.

The people in front were restless. They turned the spotlights to focus on that person.

“What’s going on? Who’s that person?”

“He’s from Huaxia? That can’t be right. Why is he alone?”

The news spread out. The people in the building were clueless.

After confirming that there was no one else other than that person, everyone started laughing.

  Chapter 371 - Human-Shaped Arsenal

“Haha! This person must be out of his mind! How dare he come alone?”

“Does he have a death wish? He’s most likely a lunatic!”

  The people were laughing.

The gunners relaxed. Their expression became condescending and mocking.

Before that, they were worried that the opponent might stage a large-scale invasion, but now they did not know whether to laugh or to cry when they saw that the opponent was only one person.

One person could not be that powerful, even if he were a cultivator.

Furthermore, there were thousands of gunners and almost a hundred cultivators in the building. That person must be on a suicide mission or be crazy to think that he could take on thousands of people.

The tense atmosphere in the building instantly dissipated.

On the top floor, Goro Miki was laughing too.

At that moment, Miki Plaza had gathered everyone in Miki Group capable of fighting, and also almost a hundred grandmasters holding the line. It was like an impregnable fortress. A lone Huaxia cultivator would not be able to even cause a ripple.

‘That person is alone, but he gave us a warning letter which gave us ample time to prepare. Unless… it was only an empty threat?

‘He is probably a lunatic!’ Goro Miki thought.

“Pass on my command. Capture him alive if possible. Otherwise, kill him on the spot. Don’t let him escape!” He said coldly.

  “Hai!”

Behind him, a man in a black suit bowed deeply. He took out his walkie-talkie and relayed the message.

More spotlights lit up and shone on the figure.

The figure was dressed in black. He stood upright and looked quite cool. However, his face seemed to be shrouded in shadows. They could not see him clearly.

The people were confused when they saw that but understood when they remembered that he was a cultivator.

“The Huaxia person standing there, listen very carefully! Surrender now, otherwise, we will open fire!” A man with a ponytail yelled into a megaphone.

The figure continued standing there. He made no reaction.

“I will repeat myself. Surrender now, otherwise…”

  He suddenly stopped speaking.

  Bang!

There was a sudden gunshot. A hole appeared on the person’s head and blood spurted out from it.

He fell backward from the impact and hit the ground.

  The crowd instantly fell silent.

“Tsk! You speak too much! You want a fight? Let’s begin!”

Tang Hao yelled. Somehow, he had a pistol in his hand.

  He turned around casually.

The Dongying people instantly sprang to action. They gritted their teeth and growled angrily.

“Baka! F*ck him over! Kill him!”

  “Open fire! Shoot at him!”

As they shouted, they lifted their guns and pointed at the figure in front of them. Bullets poured forth from their muzzles and onto that person like raindrops in a storm.

A mundane person, or someone of Shabby Taoist Master’s level, would have wet their pants out of fright just by looking at the scene.

A normal cultivator would not have been able to withstand that magnitude of firepower.

Tang Hao did not attempt to dodge. Instead, he continued running forward.

  Clink clink clink!

The bullets smashed on the light shield like raindrops on a window.

The firepower was as strong and relentless as a typhoon. However, the light shield was too thick and the bullets could not harm the person within.

“What the hell?” The gunners were stunned. “That light shield is like a tortoise shell! We can’t break it!”

“Keep on shooting, useless idiots! Just shoot!”

Get the people on the west wing and east wing over. No… get everyone here! Kill that bastard!”

The commanders behind were livid. They roared like maniacs.

People poured in from all sides of the building. They were wielding their guns indignantly.

It was a great humiliation that so many guns could not kill one mere Huaxia person!

“Kill him!” They roared, determined to reduce Tang Hao into a sieve.

While they were yelling furiously, Tang Hao remained calm. He stood there while the bullets poured on him.

  Occasionally, he yawned.

The Dongying people were livid when they saw that.

After a prolonged period of shooting, the light shield finally shattered. The Dongying people were ecstatic. Some of them even started cheering.

Tang Hao rolled his eyes. “Why are you so happy? You’ve only broken one shield. I have more! How many more do you want?”

Another light shield appeared around Tang Hao’s body, and then another.

The Dongying people went cross-eyed when they saw multiple light shields appearing.

They wobbled and nearly fainted. One was already hard enough to break, and he had so many more? Was that person really a tortoise?

“I was only using you to test the strength of my sorcery. It’s now your turn to die!”

Tang Hao said coldly. Suddenly, a bazooka appeared in his hands.

  The gunners were all dumbfounded.

‘What the hell? Is he a magician? Where was he hiding the bazooka?’

Before they could react, a rocket was already flying toward them. The explosion and shockwave sent many people flying.

  The scene instantly became chaotic.

Tang Hao threw away the bazooka. He flicked his wrists and a machine gun appeared in each of his hands. He started shooting all around him.

  “Aaahhh!”

Many people got shot and fell to the ground.

Bullets flew. The street was stained red with blood.

He was like the reaper, claiming lives mercilessly. Once he emptied his guns, he threw them a
way, pulled out more guns from nowhere like a magician, and continued shooting.

He was only one person, but his firepower was extraordinarily strong.

About three minutes later, the street was riddled with corpses.

  The remaining gunners were afraid.

That person was like a human-shaped arsenal with a tortoise shell as a shield. How would they hope to defeat him?

They did not dare to run away. Instead, they took cover and tried hard to fight back.

The people in the building were shocked when they received updates from outside. They wore unpleasant expressions on their faces.

“Retreat! Everyone, retreat into the building!”

Goro Miki slammed the table and roared. His eyes were bloodshot.

  His heart was dripping blood.

Those were elite fighters of his Miki Group. He could understand if they died fighting a Huaxia army, but the opponent was only one person.

“Pass on my command. Send the grandmasters into action. There is a one billion reward for killing that guy. One billion American dollars.”

  Chapter 372 - He’s A Freak

The gunners tried to fight back for a while more but eventually retreated into the building.

On the streets, corpses littered across the streets and the stench of gunpowder was thick in the air.

  Bang!

Another shot took down another gunner from Miki Group who was running away.

Tang Hao looked around the place. He furrowed his brows.

The scene was indeed quite horrific.

However, he narrowed his eyes and resumed his earlier coldness. Those people were all his enemies, and they were all merciless criminals. He had no qualms about killing so many bad guys.

If he did not kill those people today, they might one day go to Huaxia and harm his fellow citizens.
