‘The Taoist geezers want to use my pelt as a fur coat?’

The old werewolf wanted to vomit blood.

“I’ll fight to the death with all you bastards!” He roared and pounced at the Taoist masters.

“F*ck him over!” The Taoist masters cheered excitedly and rushed forward.

Very soon, the werewolf fell while howling resentfully.

At the same time, Tang Hao dispatched the final clan leader.

The thirteen clan leaders had all fallen.

The remaining vampires and werewolves saw that, and their morale shattered. They had sorrowful looks on their faces.

They were confident when they came, and they thought that Huaxia would not put up a fight at all. They thought that thirteen thousand of their best elites would easily run over Huaxia.

They did not expect that things would turn out that way!

  That was a total defeat!

Many people fell on their knees and lifted their hands to surrender, while some jumped into the sea in an attempt to flee.

  “Don’t let them get away!”

  The Taoist masters gave chase.

The battle was basically over by that point. What remained was hunting down the scattered forces.

Tang Hao followed the Taoist masters on a speedboat to pursue the fleeing enemies.

They returned to the cruise ship more than an hour later.

Many of the enemies had successfully gotten away, but that did not matter. The battle was won.

Meanwhile, on the cruise ship, Shabby Taoist Master and the others were cleaning up the scene of battle. They tossed the werewolf corpses in a huge pile.

“Hmm, this one’s not bad! The fur is so soft! Oh, that one’s not bad too!” The Taoist masters were glowing with excitement.

Their expressions turned to disgust when they saw the corpses of the vampires.

“Burn them! Burn them quickly! Those bloodlings are useless even if they’re dead!”

The people were excited when Tang Hao returned to the deck.

“Ah, Fellow Cultivator Tang… no, no, I can’t call you a Fellow Cultivator now. I’ve got to call you Perfected Person Tang!” Taoist Master Qian Ji said as he walked over to greet Tang Hao.

  He seemed respectful.

“Right, we have to call you Perfected Person Tang!” The Taoist masters said with smiles on their faces.

Tang Hao laughed. “That’s so awkward! Just call me Fellow Cultivator!”

“You’re too humble, Fellow Cultivator Tang!” The Taoist masters laughed.

The atmosphere on the deck of the cruise ship was joyous and celebratory.

  Chapter 493 - A New Era

“Here, Fellow Cultivator Tang, these pelts are for you!”

An elderly Taoist master walked over to Tang Hao, dragging the corpses of several werewolf clan leaders.

“Thanks!” Tang Hao took them without hesitation.

Those elderly werewolves had a strong cultivation base and their pelts were treasures. It would be best if they were made into fur coats.

Was it cruel? To Tang Hao, those werewolves were evil monsters.

“Comrade Tang Hao!” General Bai and the others boarded the cruise ship. Their faces were red with excitement.

“That was such a great battle. That’ll show them how impressive Huaxia can be! I’d like to see any other coward try to do evil in Huaxia.” General Bai looked cathartic.

Taoist Master Zhen Yang smiled and said emotionally, “That was such a cathartic fight! I’d like to see anyone look down upon Huaxia from now on.”

“A new era is coming!” Another elderly Taoist master said while stroking his beard.

“Yes! After this battle, Huaxia is finally rising again.”

“A new era! That’s great!” General Bai sighed emotionally.

He turned around and started shouting. “Alright, let’s go back! I’ll treat everyone to dinner!”

“What are we having?” The people from Dragon Tiger Mountain scuttled over.

“F*ck! How about y’all go somewhere else and die?” Taoist Master Zhen Yang delivered a slap onto a heavenly master’s face.

“Curse you, Zhen Yang! How dare you hit me? I’ll kill you! Ahhh! Not the face!” The heavenly master wailed pathetically.

The people laughed when they saw that. Tang Hao laughed too.

“It’s time to go back!” He mumbled, after which he followed the other people back on the naval ship.

Someone else would be coming to clean up the battlefield on the cruise ship.

The atmosphere on the cruise ship was jovial and celebratory.

Tang Hao went inside a cabin and rested for a while.

He sat on a chair and looked at his arms.

Those arms seemed different than before. The skin was fairer and more delicate. It even shone dimly.

He looked at his body and noticed some changes too.

That was all because of his enhanced cultivation base. He was considered half a Perfected Person now, which meant that he had newly stepped into the State of Foundation Establishment. It was a big step away from the peak of the State of Qi Channeling.

With that first step, he could eventually reach the early period of the State of Foundation Establishment.

In modern times, it was extremely difficult, if not impossible, to step into the State of Foundation Establishment.

To break through, he had already used the soul of the flying serpent and all his pills. It would be next to impossible to take the next step!

He took out his phone but realized that there was no coverage.

‘That’s right, we’re still in the middle of the sea.’

It was already late in the afternoon when he got a signal again. He called Sis Xiangyi and chatted for a long time.

It was night time when they returned to Provincial City. Everyone went to New Magical Kitchen.

“This one, that one… Ah, just give me ten portions of everything! Give me ten crates of that liquor too. I can get reimbursed anyway,” General Bai said generously.

  “Here, drink up!”

The people ate and drank to their fill. The scene was extremely lively.

All the Taoist masters were intoxicated, while the heavenly masters from Dragon Tiger Mountain had been knocked out by the alcohol. They lay there unmoving like dead pigs.

Mu Xintong also drank quite a lot of liquor. Her face was red, which gave her usually ice-cold expression some seductive charm.

As for General Bai, he was the first one to be knocked out.

  “Sigh, these people!”

Tang Hao felt his head ache when he looked at those people sprawled on the floor.

He did not have that much sobriety medicine!

“Whatever. I’ll just send them all to a hotel!” He woke a few of them up, called some cabs, and transported them all to a nearby hotel.

  “I’ll be leaving!”

Mu Xintong said coolly and walked out of the restaurant.

The sudden appearance of a beautiful young woman in a military uniform caused a commotion outside.

After sending the last person away, the manager presented Tang Hao with the bill.

“Please look at this, Chairman Tang…”

Tang Hao rolled his eyes when he saw that.

‘The entire meal cost two hundred and fifty thousand yuan!’

He thought about it and realized that it was a fair amount for so many diners.

“Whatever. I’ll cover it!” Tang Hao took out his credit card.

He looked at his wristwatch and saw that it was already past ten o’clock. It was time to go home.

“I’ll be going!” He told the restaurant staff.

“Safe journey home, Chairman Tang!” The manager and the waitstaff bowed at Tang Hao as he left.

The city lights were still bright and the streets were packed with people. It was a tranquil and harmonious scene.

  “That’s nice!” Tang Hao smiled.

  Why would he
and the Taoist masters put their lives on the line, if not to keep this peace?

After the operation, the city would be safer than ever. There might still be crimes, but the police would be enough to handle that.

Soon, the entire Huaxia would be like this.

Tang Hao did not drive a car. He continued walking toward the First Public Hospital first to check on the girls.

He was relieved to know that they were recovering. After that, he went home.

  …

The shocking news of Huaxia defeating the combined forces of thirteen elite clans had spread throughout the world.

All the major powers were shocked.

Before the battle, no one had expected that Huaxia would emerge victoriously. They were waiting for the news of Huaxia’s defeat, and they would celebrate.

However, the news that they eventually received was the total opposite of their expectations.

Huaxia won convincingly. They did not suffer many casualties. Meanwhile, the thirteen elite clans with more than ten thousand troops suffered terrible losses. All the thirteen clan leaders had lost their lives too.

  Shock! Confusion!

That was the immediate reaction of many people.

A lot of them thought that it was a joke.

After all, that was the thirteen elite clans they were talking about! Even if Huaxia won, it should have been a pyrrhic victory.

However, no one doubted the news once more details came in.

A Perfected Person appeared in Huaxia!

All the major forces around the world were stunned by the news. Their shock soon turned to fear.

“Let’s leave as quickly as possible! Pull out all our people from Huaxia. Get them on the next flight available! If they don’t come back fast, don’t blame anyone if they die. The clan will not take revenge for them!”

“The thirteen elite clans are all wiped out. How should I take revenge for your life if you die? I’ll be grateful if you don’t bring the Huaxia forces here.”

Many forces around the world pulled their people out of Huaxia that day.

They realized that Huaxia was once again a formidable force, and not the powerless nation it had been.

Chapter 494 - The Cult of Masculine Wind

Up in the sky in a city to the west of Huaxia.

A helicopter was patrolling the area.

Tang Hao sat in the helicopter and looked down at the entire city. He could hear many people talking through his headset.

  “Squad Number Nine. Target subdued!”

“Squad Number Three. Two targets down!”

The reports came over the headset.

Operation Witch Hunter was still ongoing in that city. However, after the great battle, the major powers had already pulled their forces out of Huaxia. Wiping the stragglers was a relatively easy task which the special forces could achieve.

He sat on the helicopter, coordinating the special forces and providing backup.

As for the Taoist masters, some of them were in the city. Others went to neighboring smaller towns to hunt down other targets.

  The sun was rising.

The operation that night was a resounding success.

Tang Hao sat in the helicopter. As he watched the sunrise, he realized that he might have forgotten something.

He deliberated for a while and slapped his thigh.

  “F*ck! I’m done for!”

His face turned pale and he shouted at the pilot, “Quick, quick! Go back!”

The helicopter abruptly changed directions and returned to the base.

Tang Hao quickly hopped off the helicopter when it landed.

Most of the Taoist masters and squads returned to the base as well. They were smiling and chatting casually.

  “You’re back, Fellow Cultivator Tang!”

They waved and smiled at Tang Hao.

Tang Hao nodded at them while he quickly walked inside.

The Taoist masters were surprised. “Where are you going, Fellow Cultivator Tang? What’s the rush?”

“I forgot that my term exams are today! I’ll be finished if I don’t make it in time!” He said despondently.

  “Huh?”

The Taoist masters were all baffled.

“Term… exams?” Shabby Taoist Master stammered.

They suddenly realized that Tang Hao was still a student! Of course, he had to sit for term exams!

They lifted their heads and lamented wordlessly to the heavens.

“Hey, why are you all reacting like that?” Tang Hao became more frustrated.

“Whatever. I’ll have to go. Bye!” Tang Hao waved at them and quickly rode on a military jet. In a few minutes, the jet took off and flew toward Province Z.

It was almost eight o’clock when the jet landed.

Tang Hao stood in front of a row of military helicopters.

All of them were painted black and looked very cool.

‘These helicopters would attract too much attention! That’ll be a lot of unnecessary trouble.’

“Brother, do you have anything that’s… low profile? I don’t want to attract too much attention,” Tang Hao said.

“Isn’t attention good?” The pilot said, baffled.

“No! I want to keep a low profile!” Tang Hao said with a smile.

“Sigh, that one then!” The pilot pointed at the helicopter farthest from them.

“Alright, that one it is!” Tang Hao looked at his watch and could only agree to it. He would be late if he did not set out right now.

Very soon, the helicopter took flight and flew toward the city area.

The rotating helicopter blades echoed in the sky.

The helicopter caused a commotion as it flew past the city. People lifted their heads and pointed at it.

As it neared the university, Tang Hao picked a secluded spot and jumped down from it. Unfortunately, when he lifted his head, he saw several figures in front of him.

They were female freshmen students of his age!

They all stood there, staring at him. They nearly dropped the breakfast items in their hands out of shock.

Tang Hao realized that staying any longer there would be trouble. He turned around and quickly left.

“None of you saw anything!” He mumbled.

Just when he turned around, he heard excited shrieks behind him.

“Oh my god! It’s Tang Hao!”

  “It’s really him!”

The female students shrieked out of excitement. He heard the clicks of their phone cameras.

Tang Hao immediately covered his head. ‘Dammit, I’ll be the talk of the entire university again!’

He did not have the time to care for that. Instead, he dashed toward the academic building. He managed to enter the classroom one minute before it started.

Tang Hao had a good memory, and the exam was not a problem for him.

He whizzed through the paper, though he only handed it in when the time was almost up.

“Please stay for a bit, Tang Hao!” Jiang Wanying told him.

Tang Hao was surprised. He was about to step out of the classroom but stopped walking.

After all the students submitted their papers, Jiang Wanying tidied them into a neat stack, then turned around to look at Tang Hao.

Her brows were furrowed as though she was hesitating. She finally opened her mouth after a while, “I’ll be going to Merrica this summer break. My parents will be going too.”

Tang Hao was surprised. He did not know what to say.

‘Didn’t Mrs. Jiang insist on severing ties with her father? Why did she change her mind?’

Jiang Wanying laughed drily when she saw the curiosity on his face. “My grandpa’s health is failing, and he’ll pass away soon. She wants to meet him one last time.”

  Tang Hao immediately understood.

Mrs. Jiang might have severed ties with her father, but they were nonetheless related by blood. Wishing to visit a relative on their deathbed was an entirely normal sentiment. />
“To be frank, I’d like to visit my grandpa too. I’ve never met him before, and I don’t know what he looks like. It’s just that I have some… concerns,” Jiang Wanying said hesitantly.

Tang Hao smiled. He understood what Teacher Jiang was concerned about. After all, his grandfather was the leader of a triad.

She was a naive woman. It would be better if she was not involved.

“I’ll be fine. I just wanted to let you know that I’ll be gone for a few days. Don’t worry,” Jiang Wanying pressed her lips together and smiled.

Tang Hao and Jiang Wanying left the classroom together.

A week passed. The exams were over, and it was the summer break.

Operation Witch Hunter swept over the entire Huaxia like a raging fire.

In the meantime, the Agency had devised standard operating procedures for dealing with foreign cultivators.

Foreign cultivators were allowed to enter the country, but they needed to apply for a special permit and be subject to constant surveillance.

In the meantime, Vitality Sports Drink had finally gone into production and entered the market.

The company ran major advertising campaigns for the product on all platforms. Its amazing effects had surprised many people and became wildly popular.

The sports drink’s first customers were sportspeople, including basketball players, bodybuilders, athletes, and frequent gym-goers.

They were also the ones who spread the word about the amazing sports drink.

Then, the drink became popular among white-collar workers because of its stimulating properties.

Finally, the consumers discovered its unspoken properties.

“With one bottle, coming seven times in one night is no longer a dream!”

That slogan became a meme all over the Internet. The popularity of the drink soared wildly.

“I’ve taken it before. Seven times is pushing it, but four or five times won’t be a problem. It’s a miracle drink!”

“It’s from Haotian Group again? The leader of the Masculine Wind Cult has manifested his powers once again! May he unite us and lead us to eternal peace!”
