She rolled her eyes. “The fuck you say. This is my sister we talking about. Aint none of that when it comes to Nunnie. I’m riding, baby. And everybody needs to know that. Nigga, even you.”

Mix shook his head. “Man, Dreka, get real. First off, remember where we standing and know that your sister aint perfect—”

“And we know that you one controlling ass nigga that aint finna let her do too much of nothing in your presence, so miss me,” Dreka cut him off. “So, I can pretty much bet my last dollar that this nigga aint touched her since you been around. So, you aint had no business in the bathroom with that hoe. And I bet Nunnie gon feel the exact same way when I tell her.”

“He was in the bathroom with who?” Nunnie waltzed over to the sectional.

Mix leaned his head back. “This aint my fuckin’ day. I swear, man,” he grumbled, before focusing on Nunnie. “Say, where the fuck you been?”

She waved him off. “Don’t worry about all that. Who the fuck was you in the bathroom with?”

  “Rumor,” Dreka readily offered.

“Oh, is that right?” Nunnie bucked her eyes. “Okay.” She nodded, before twirling around. “Nigga, I got you.” she stomped off.

Mix took a deep breath, before going after her. “See, here you go with the stupid shit,” he fussed, as he followed her upstairs.

“Maizun, whatever, quit fucking talking to me. That’s what you need to do.”

  “Quit talking to you?”

“That’s what the fuck I said,” she scoffed, as she pushed Maizie’s bedroom door open, and stepped inside.

Mix and Maizie were right behind her, as she flicked on the light.

“Ugh, I wish you and your son would gone somewhere, while I handle my business,” she continued to gripe.

“Handle your business? The fuck are you trying to do?” he glanced around the room, taking stock of everything. “The hell did you do with most of his clothes?”

She rolled her eyes. “No, what the fuck was you doing in the bathroom with that bottom feeding ass bitch?”

He stroked his waves, as he placed Maizie in his bassinet. “Man, the hoe lured me upstairs. I didn’t know what the fuck was up, and then she goes into the bathroom. I wasn’t with it. So, she got to grabbing on me and shit. Okay, then she gets me in there, and she offers up the pussy—”

“You dirty muthafucka!” she growled, as she shoved him back.

“Man, chill!” he shouted, while catching his balance. “I didn’t fuck that girl. On my son, I didn’t touch her. I turned that hoe down, and I guess that she went to go sit on her fake cousin Levi’s dick.”

“Huh?” Nunnie paused. “The fuck are you talking about?”

“Exactly.” He nodded. “This the shit you brought me into, man. A whole lot of fucking drama. Drama that I don’t need, when I’m dealing with enough as it is.”

She held her forehead. “Yeah, this is becoming too much. That’s my fault. So, I gotta find a way to get us the fuck out of this.”

Mix shrugged. “It’s really simple. Walk away. I know that nigga provided a lifestyle, but we came from the mud, anyway. And it’s time to get it how you live. These past few days have humbled me like a muthafucka, I’ll tell you that. And I’m saying that I’d rather be locked up, than to let some nigga who wanna stick dick to you and play daddy to my son hoe me in any shape or form. Aint no bitch in my blood, and I can’t just move like this. I don’t give a fuck what the benefits are.”

Nunnie nodded in understanding. “I get where you coming from.”

  “Do you?”

  “Yeah, I do.”

“Nah,” he shook his head. “You don’t feel me, cause if you did, you wouldn’t have had me in this nigga’s spot to begin with.”

She tucked her lips into her mouth. “You know…in a few days when the smoke clears, we gon have to sit down and you gone have to get reacquainted with the girl you forced me to become. Because you seem to think that I’m the exact same person from a year ago. Yes, I still do feel, and know how to love, but I also use my brain. So, just maybe everything has a rhyme and a reason to it.”

He moved in on her. “Are you gonna share the reason?”

She shook her head. “Unh-unh, not right now.”

“And why not?” he wrapped his arms around her waist.

“Because you know all that you need to know, as of right now.”

“Oh, yeah?” he huskily breathed, as he palmed her ass.

She reached back and grabbed his wrist. “No, tell me the truth first.”

  “What?” he furrowed his brows.

  “Did you fuck her?”

He sucked his teeth. “Aye, what did I tell you, man?”

“You better not be lying to me,” she warned, while he eased her dress over her ass.

He laughed to himself, while shaking his head. “You really dumb sometimes, you know that?”

  “Dumb?”

“Hell, yeah. You gotta be to be standing here questioning where a nigga’s heart is at. Or if I’m really trying to fuck that bitch when all this shit is going on around me. I gotta be on my P’s and Q’s. So, fuck falling off in some unfamiliar pussy. Especially, when the bitch is that pressed about giving it up. It’s clear that she got a agenda that’s deeper than her being curious about my fucking wood. A fucking blind man can see that, and I’m far too advanced to let some lame bitch sucker me into her bullshit.”

Nunnie lifted her chin. “So, what’s her agenda?”

Mix shrugged. “The hell if I know. You know how hoes is. She don’t like you, so she wanna fuck every nigga close to you. She wanna humble you, because she see something in you that she lacks or some bullshit. However it goes. You know. Catty shit.” He gripped her panties, before rolling them down.

She kicked her boots off, before flinging her panties across the floor. “We could’ve saved this for later, but okay.” She pulled his pants down, and then came his boxers.

“Damn, you aggressive, huh?” he chuckled, as she backed him up to the daybed.

She gripped his hard dick. “Nope. I just don’t have time to waste. Sit down,” she dictated, while pushing him onto the bed, and straddling him.

He smiled, as she glided her warmth onto his stiffness. “What’s the rush?”

Gripping his shoulders, she rolled her hips, sensually. Letting him do all the talking, she tongue-kissed the side of his face.

“So, you just gon ignore me, huh?” he laughed, while smacking her bare ass. “You must want me to fuck the shit out of you.”

She sneakily tittered, while nodding her head.

“Alright. Be careful what you ask for,” he advised, before gripping both of her ass cheeks, and hammering away.

“Uh, uh, uh, uh,” she panted, as he pounded into her. “Ummm, fuck me, fuck meeee!”

“Whose pussy is this?” he smacked her ass. “Whose pussy is this?”

  “It’s yours, daddy! It’s yours!”

“Hey, man, I’m not trying to get in your business, but what the hell do you have going on around here?” Levi’s boy Steve questioned, as they stood in the middle of the kitchen.

Levi squinted. “I’m not following you.”

“Come on, man. I’m just saying. Now, I know you have this little shit with you and Rumor. That’s yall thing, and we don’t say shit. You move however you wanna in your place, man. But now you have Naveriah and her dude here too? That’s some next level shit. I mean, are yall fucking swingers?”

“Swingers?” Levi spat. “Come on, my guy. What the hell do you take me for? She brought that cat around under the guise that he was her cousin.”

  “And you believe that?”

Levi shrugged. “At this point, I don’t know what to believe. I know that I don’t trust her.”

Steve nodded. “Well, aye, I’ma just come out and say it. Me and the boys were talking, and we all think that the baby looks just like that nigga. I’m talking identical. And I know you brought this chick around
fully pregnant. Are you a hundred percent sure that Maizie is your baby?”

Levi cynically laughed. “Are you really asking me this, man?”

“Fuck yeah. Did you get a paternity test?”

“Steve, one thing about me you should know is that I’ve never been stupid.”

Steve nodded. “You’re right. I’ve never known you to be stupid, but I’m asking, because I’d hate for you to be caught slipping.”

Levi gulped, as he thought about how Nunnie had him looking in the eyes of his peers. “Look, man, I got this. Trust me, alright? And after tonight you won’t be seeing that nigga around this house, anymore. Cousin or not, he’s out of here. Seriously.”

Steve nodded. “Hey, I hear that. Handle your business.” He dapped Levi up.

“Oh, most definitely. Most definitely,” Levi agreed. “But yeah, let me go holler at Naveriah, right quick. I’ll catch up with you, before you leave.”

  “Alright, you do that.”

Maneuvering through the multiple guests loitering around his home, Levi quietly searched for Nunnie. Peering into the living room, he noticed that Dreka and Tink were hanging with their boyfriends with no signs of their partner in crime. He opted not to question them and merely kept it pushing. Eventually, he’d covered the entire first floor of the house. So then, he headed upstairs. Feeling emboldened, he headed directly to the room Mix had been sleeping in, only to find that no one was inside. He checked all the guest bathrooms and bedrooms, before reaching his own room.

Standing in the middle of the room, he knew that something was off. Earlier that morning, he’d left it nice and tidy, but now it looked like a tornado had blown through it. Clearly, Nunnie had been rummaging through the drawers, as well as the closet.

“The fuck?” he mumbled to himself. “She’s really losing her damn mind. She better come clean all this shit up—” he fussed, until he heard moaning coming from Maizie’s room, which was adjoined to his, although it had it’s own entry as well. “I know this aint what I think it is,” he mumbled, as he stomped over to the door that led to the short hall that linked the two rooms together. He yanked it open and tipped down the hall.

“Uh, daddy, cum in this pussy again,” Nunnie whimpered, as she bounced hard on Mix’s dick. “Let me feel you cum again.”

Levi stood in the doorway, feeling beyond heated. “You one sick bitch. In here begging your supposed cousin to cum in you, bitch? But I had to wear a fucking condom?”

Hearing his voice, Nunnie hopped off Mix. Scrambling, she grabbed her shoes, while Mix calmly pulled his boxers and joggers back up. Seemingly, without a care in the world, he stood up and took a stretch, while yawning.

“Nunu, after you put your shoes on, grab my son’s diaper bag, man,” Mix instructed, as if Levi wasn’t standing there.

Although, deep down he’d suspected it, to actually receive confirmation right in his face, and to have it delivered in such a callous manner had Levi infuriated.

“Hey, man, you really have some fucking balls to stand in my fucking house, taking this stance, right now,” Levi spat.

Mix rotated his shoulder. “I’m saying. What chu talking about? What chu trying to do? Cause we can get off into some gangsta shit. But what I’m not about to do is stand here and exchange words with you. You walked in, so you see what it is. Aint no fucking explanation needed. This my bitch. She always gon be my bitch. If you aint know, I bet you do now, nigga.”

Nervously, Nunnie slipped on her shoes, grabbed Maizie’s diaper bag, before scooping him up out of the bassinet. “Okay, Maizun, I got the baby. Let’s just go.”

Hearing Nunnie utter those words seriously shattered Levi’s ego. He always imagined her begging and pleading for a place in his life. Instead, she seemed quite fine with the concept of walking out and never looking back.

“Yeah, go ahead you scheming bitch!” he lashed. “Let’s see who’ll take you in the next time this nigga runs out on you and the baby.”

Mix pushed Nunnie at the small of her back. “Yall head downstairs.” He turned to Levi, as she headed out the door. “She aint gon be another bitch. Watch your muthafuckin’ mouth. With ya peon ass, before I embarrass your bitch ass in front of your company, you mark.”

Levi didn’t have a response for that, as he marched out of the room himself. He waited until he reached his staircase to open his mouth again. “Yeah, I think it’s best that yall move the fuck around. I want you and that bitch off my—”

Levi never finished his statement, before Mix reached back and plowed his fist through his teeth, sending him tumbling down the stairs.

“Oh, my God, Levi!” Rumor shouted, as she witnessed the fall.

Everyone downstairs rushed to the steps after hearing the commotion, and found Levi stretched out. Of course, Levi appeared disoriented, as everyone attempted to help him stand. Unbothered by the scene, Mix just calmly walked downstairs, and stepped right over Levi, and the people who were rendering his aid.

Dreka stood there, mouth gaped. “Damn, what the fuck happened?”

Mix headed to the front door. “I knocked his bitch ass out. That’s what the fuck happened.”

  Chapter 20

Mix stood peering into his trunk. “So, you really managed to put all these cases of milk and pampers in here by yourself?”

Nunnie stood next to him with both hands filled with random bags. “Yep.”

Dreka stepped up behind them, dragging a few bags herself. “I’m still trying to figure out how her ass lifted our keys without us realizing it. She got everybody’s car loaded down. From the damn trunks to the backseats.”

Nunnie fluttered her lashes. “Well, I told you that I was leaving, Dreka.”

Tink dragged a trash bag. “Yeah, and we see that your ass wasn’t bullshitting.”

“Hell, nah, she wasn’t,” Trigga co-signed, as he carried two duffel bags towards Tink and Dreka’s apartment.

Holding his son in one arm, Mix grabbed a few boxes of diapers in the other, before heading up to the apartment. Everyone else was right behind him. “Aw, fuck,” he spewed, as he snapped his fingers. “I forgot my fucking backpack over at that nigga’s house.”

“No, you didn’t,” Nunnie commented, as they stepped into the apartment. “I put it in the backseat for you.”

Placing the diapers on the floor, Mix carefully regarded her. “So, you just took the time to pack all our shit up without telling me nothing?”

She smirked. “So, you was staying when it was time to go?”

“You funny.” He pointed a finger. “But don’t ever do no shit like that again. You let me know what’s up, instead of just moving on your own.”

She nodded. “I hear you, but we’ll talk about that later.”

  “Yeah, whatever.”

Moving along, they collectively unloaded Nunnie and the baby’s belongings out of four different vehicles. When they were done, they piled everything up in the dining area, leaving virtually no walking space to get into the kitchen.

Of course, after unpacking the cars, everyone was exhausted, and were stretched out on the couches, attempting to catch their breaths.

“Man, this been one crazy day,” Dreka yawned.

Tink tittered. “Yess. I’ma call this a Thot Thanksgiving.”

“Thot Thanksgiving?” Nunnie regurgitated. “Where that come from?”

Dreka and Tink looked at each other, before kneeling over and roaring with laughter. “This hoe loves to play crazy,” Dreka’s voice trembled.

Nunnie rolled her eyes, as she gave them both the finger. “I don’t see what’s so fucking funny.”

Mix lightly nudged her side. “Stop playing, man. You know what it is. Stop fronting. The shit is what it is. You got down. Stand on it.”

Tink quieted the giggling. “Okay, are yall going to tell us what the hell happened upstairs?”

“Nothing, really,” Nunnie claimed. “I was just packing, and he walked in.”

Dreka arched a brow, as she stu
died Mix’s face, searching for the truth. “Is that what happened, Mix?”

Nunnie smacked her lips. “What you asking him for? I’m telling you how it went down.”

Mix chuckled, as he reclined in the couch. “Say, you such a fucking liar, man.”

“Uh, shit,” Tink uttered, as she anxiously scooted to the edge of the couch. “Tell us what really went down, Mix.”

Mix fixed his gaze on Nunnie. “Nah, if Nunu is tripping on me saying what it is, then my hands are tied.”

Nunnie locked eyes with him and thought about everything that had transpired over the past few days. The last thing she wanted him to now think was that their bond was somehow tainted. Like she cared about anything or anyone outside of what they shared. She needed him to know that without a shadow of a doubt that Levi meant nothing to her, and it was them against the world. No matter how it may look to outsiders.

Shaking her head, she shrugged. “It really don’t matter to me. Tell their nosy asses…in fact, I’ll tell them,” she offered. “Levi walked in while I was riding Mix on the daybed in Maizie’s room. There, I said it.”

Dreka’s eyes bucked, before she fell out on the floor, and laughed hysterically, along with everyone else in the room. “Bitch, I know you fucking lying.”

Tink held her stomach. “I can’t breathe. I can’t breathe.”

Sass was hyperventilating as he chuckled. “But wait a minute. And then you knock this nigga out in his own house, after he catches you fucking in his crib?”

“Had him tumbling down the fucking stairs,” Trigga added.

“He was barely conscious,” Tink howled.

“You muthafuckas are the dirtiest,” Dreka hooted.

Mix exhaled. “Shit aint all what it seems. That nigga aint no saint. If anything, he was pulling the same shit on Nunu first, and she just was slow at catching on. Cause that Rumor hoe aint that nigga’s cousin. I mean, unless he’s into some incest shit, cause she was just sitting in his lap, right before he busted in the room on us.”

Nunnie shook her head. “No, I wasn’t slow at catching on to nothing. That man is full of shit on all levels. He got several apartments with other little girlfriends living in them, including Rumor. I guess she’s the main little side chick. She even keeps his kids, because his dirty ass even got his ex-wife believing that hoe is his cousin.”
