  Words Of A Free Wonderer

  A Place Like Home

  Wondering in the lonely streets

  Speaking in the strange crowd

  Roaming in the empty spaces

  Watching and hearing the world

As it moves-on in the rush

  Remembering the times when

  One rested in the warmth

  Of the peaceful surroundings

  And living together under

One roof and behind four walls.

But outside of those four walls

  It feels like being crushed

  Between the walls of loneliness

And being soaked in the rain

  Outside that one roof.

Searching for a place to lie down

  With a heavy heart that

  No longer feels anything

And looking hard into other’s eyes

To recognize if they are our own.

  But whatever we do

  Or wherever we go

  Whatever we say

  Or whatever we ask

  A place like home

  We will never find.

  A Soul Drowned

Like a dim star miles away

Never seen by the eye that lingers around it,

Like a whisper of wind to the hazy clouds above

Whose echo is lost in the noisy thunder prevailing,

Like the translucent, caramel rays of dawn

That never reach the dark pathless woods,

  A soul dies away, undiscovered.

Like words full of meaning beyond their existence

Yet never to the heart do they reach,

Like tears that fall from the eyes of Sorrow

But are seen by none other than the Eye of Ignorance,

Like the smiles that shine truly from the heart

Though are always left in the depths of gloom to perish,

  A soul dies away, aimlessly.

Like a thought full of aim and purpose

That never saw the light of day,

Like a consciousness too alive to forget

Yet becomes unconsciousness without being remembered,

Like an image too erect in the magic of the Mind

Yet shatters without the recognizance of Reality,

  A soul dies away, unrecognized.

Like a hope with promise but never fulfilled,

Like a moment of triumph but never accomplished.

Like a heart full of love but never beats,

Like a dream always alive but never born,

And like a life with aspects but at a loss of purpose,

A soul dies away, with all its shine covered by the Veil of Death.

  A World In The Sky

  Und the words which

  Lie in the deep hollows

  Bring me back the moments

Which were gone by the time

Erase the hatred from every heart

That swept away all the memories

Sing the song with the wind

That hummes in the sleepy shadows

Step on the mountains in the cold breeze

Hear the heavens call your name

Wait for the angels to fly you away

In a place to think alone

Rush with the sound of the wind

And the glow of the light from above

Close to the flames, rising from the fire

A fire that burns so slow

You can stop by the hour

  But the world slips away

  Beneath your fingers.

  Alone

The wind will blow away all your smiles

The rain will fall heavily on you

  Like some heavy pain

The dark clouds will spread over you

Leaving you with no sign of light.

  The rocks will crush

  Your each and every part

And all roads will be closed before you

And every passage will be blocked for you

Leaving no corner for you to go.

Your every mistake will return and haunt you

  Hitting you hard till

  Your heart aches

  And you mind is messed-up.

And your soul broken into pieces.

The moon and stars will turn away from you

Giving you no light to make your way back home

And the sky would seem nothing more than just a

  Sheet laid above you

And all that you had will

  Be taken away from you

  Leaving you with just a

  Lonely life to live upon..

And thus, you will be left alone.

  And It Said It All

  Words can never express feelings

Neither can a look on one’s face

The ways we’ve always walked upon

Feel like the ones of our own

And the ones closest to us

  Sometimes are there but

  Just to fade away

  Our thoughts combine with those

Blurry questions roaming in our mind

Our dreams and desires break down

From that one chain they clung to

They may say they need us

But their dark side is which

  We may never see

  Tears fall on the fire

  Blazing from our hearts

  And the ever-lasting light

  That bounces into our eyes

We loose the key to the cage

In which our soul is hidden

Which may not make us more

Capable of anything we’ve already gained

  One light breathe of burden

  We feel on our skin

  And im
agine the dead speaking

  The visions of unspeakable words

  And the words of fear

But when no one could speak

  Our lives said it all.

  Behind The Scenes

  We expect the unexpected

  We hope for the better

Or more than what we have

  We concentrate on the lame

  We aim for the greed

And in the end, we become

  The enemies of our selves.

We want for the deepest ocean

We see through the broken glass

We wonder in the darkest minds

We rely on the foulest among us

  We walk on the path

  That is shown to us

And at the last, we get lost.

We desire more than we could afford

We want more than we need

We push our inner self out

  We dream above our rights

We hope for dawn, when it’s light

We seek for wrong, but not right

And when we do realize our foolishness

We live upon misery, but not on life.

  But amongst some of us

  There may exist more fearless

And rather the ones to step out

But not step in and hide their selves

  Because heart and soul

We all are built for life

Thus, this is the real us

  ‘Behind the scenes’.

  Blind Eyes That See Everything

  On a bitter, misty night,

The bright moon lying on the sheet

Laid by the stars all over

  The salty skies,

With the wind playing a chorus

  Of silence in the orchestra

  Of the dead, gloomy darkness

  That was once filled with

  The audience of light;

  There walked upon the road

  A lonely old man.

  His soul, crumbling from

Each and every nook and cranny.

His body, wretched due to the

  Discomfort the world gave him.

  His mind haunted by the

  Strangest of thoughts.

His heart, as weak as a newborn.

  Veins that were clearly visible

  Lurked underneath his insipid skin.

Words that longed so ardently to be spoken even once

Lurched upon one another upon his lips.

  Though he could not see,

  Yet his eyes still saw

  What no one else did.

  Somewhere in those blind corners,

There rested a bright glimmer of ‘hope’,

Buried in a corner of his eyes

When they closed, fast asleep and

Coming out every time they awoke

And through this glimmer of ‘hope’,

Shinning every time in his gloomy eyes,

He saw what no one else did.

So with this ‘peculiarity’ of his,

As the old man called it so,

  He came all the way

To that desolated road which lay in a

  Land called ‘No Man’s Land’,

  From a far off place

Where misery had kicked him away

For all the pain it gave him

  Was of no use.

  Like a passenger

  With his way lost,

  Someone un-identified

  The old man kept walking

  With feet that tore

  With pain at every step

  On an un-known path,

  With an un-known ending

  And an un-known purpose.

  Still lost in his own

  Forlorn thoughts and
