“Yes, Miss. Green, I’ll make sure the flower decoration has lilies and not roses, so the background looks more fairytale-like.”

God, these people nowadays. Do they get married because they want to or just for some Instagram attention? Ashley thought to herself, sighing inaudibly.

Ashley Davidson ran New York City’s most prominent event management company and had the world at her fingertips. Who wouldn’t want a life like that – except for well, perhaps Ashley herself.

There she was, sipping coffee and looking down at the busy streets from the confines of her office, thinking about what was missing.

Another day was passing in hustle and bustle, but a certain loneliness gripped the evenings. So much to do, but still very little meaning.

She got up from her desk and walked to the floor to ceiling windows of her office, her heels clicking against the hardwood floor.

Coffee in hand, she looked through the window. At least she had never settled and feigned love just because the idea of it seemed to fill voids and save you from sitting with yourself and your thoughts. That was cowardice. It was an easy way out that so many people took. Just to settle with the nearest eligible man or woman who wanted you. But as long as rich people kept settling, she kept making money. Planning high-end weddings and celebrations was big money.

Another call halted her train of thoughts. Yet another client was asking her to make a day in their lives more memorable. She gave a wry smile at the irony.

She walked out of her office, suddenly reminded of something, and moved to the elevator at the end of the hallway, greeted by her employees along the way.

She walked out of the building, clad in her grey designer pantsuit with a white button-down shirt. Her black wingtips clicked the cemented sidewalk as she took a look at her Rolex.

Knowing she had time on her hands, Ashley slowed down her pace ever so slightly and walked to her destination. The sun had almost set in the horizon, and darkness began surrounding the city.

Nearing her favorite place in all of New York, Ashley smiled as she entered Maison Kayser. It was a midsized cozy French restaurant located near her office building. The doorbell rang as she went inside, greeted by the smell of coffee and chocolate. Ashley walked to the far end of the restaurant, taking a seat at the table next to the window.

“Ms Davidson! It’s been a while since you’ve visited us.” A man, clad in a black shirt with the restaurant logo engraving and black pants called out to her.

“Hello, Jamie. Yes, it’s been a while.” Ashley replied to the man giving him a small smile.

He put a menu in front of Ashley and then left.

Looking out the window, Ashley noticed her reflection staring back at her.

Her brunette bob was immaculate as always. Her light makeup was still sharp; it had lasted all day.

Ashley ordered a cup of coffee and her favorite white chocolate pistachio cookie as she waited for her friend to arrive.

Just as the waiter put her order on the table, Ashley looked up to see Trisha arriving.

“Ash!” Trisha all but yelled at her, grinning from ear to ear.

Ashley got up to greet her friend with a hug and chuckled at her enthusiasm.

  “Hey Trish.”

“Oh my God, how long has it been? Like years, since I last saw you!” Trisha exclaimed.

Trisha looked flawless in a royal blue silk shirt just as you would expect a CNN reporter to look.

Ashley rolled her eyes at the obvious exaggeration.

“Trish, it’s just been a week.” Ashley reminded her as Trisha settled in her seat and ordered a drink.

“Yeah, yeah. A week too long. How are you?” Trisha waved her off and asked.

“Nothing new. What about you? How’s Kevin? The wedding’s still on for this winter, right? Or have you two been fighting again?” Ashley joked, expertly dodging questions about herself.

“Oh yeah, that’s very funny. I’m glad something amuses you, even if it is my relationship. And yes, honey, the wedding is very much still on. You’re not getting yourself out of this. Can you imagine how lucky you are!? My bridesmaid and event planner for the wedding of the decade!” Trisha stated.

“If you stay together long enough to actually get married.” Ashley teased, winking at her friend, knowing it would rile her up.

Narrowing her eyes at her, Trisha huffed and then said,

“Oh shut it. And not a good job at evading my question, okay. Now spill. How are you, Ashley?”

Ashley looked at her best friend.

Trisha Peyton. Daughter of the famous news reporter Donald S. Peyton. He had been her role model in pursuing her current job and passion, Journalism. Her mother was a known fashion designer, Martha Peyton.

Trisha was privileged and spoiled, but Ashley adored her. Her dark skin was incredible, glowing, and line-free, and she never looked a day over twenty-five.

They had been inseparable since school days. Trisha was one of the most down to earth people Ashley knew, despite her background. Ashley could always count on Trisha and knew she could reach out to her for anything and everything. Trisha was the one person Ashley could never genuinely hide from.

“Hello! Earth to Ashley!” Trisha snapped her fingers in front of Ashley, pulling her out of her thoughts.

“Yeah, sorry.” Ashley chuckled and then continued,

“I’m doing fine, Trish. It’s the same as it has been for the past seven years. Work is what keeps me sane. It gives life meaning, you know.”

“Ash, you have to let someone in someday. You can’t shut everyone out like this forever.” Trisha said softly, her hand reaching out to cover Ashely’s, giving it a gentle, reassuring squeeze.

“I’m fine, Trish. I mean it. Stuff like that isn’t for me. I came to terms with it long ago. The occasional fuck I get is all that I need. And it’s not like I didn’t try. I even used your dumb left and right-swiping app.” Ashley said to her, rolling her eyes.

“Tinder. It’s called Tinder, honey.” Trisha corrected her, amused.

“Nobody excites me anymore. I saw a couple of women for sex, and that was alright, but I just don’t think I want anymore. They do. I can see it in their needy little eyes. But I don’t. I tell you, Trish, most of this relationship thing is just simple peer pressure. People don’t want to be seen alone. We equate being alone to being sad, but that isn’t true. Seeking happiness in someone else is the saddest thing of all.” Ashley continued, her annoyance rising with every word.

“Yeah because nothing screams more meaningful than a new girl every week.” Trisha retorted but then sighed and continued, “Okay, okay. You’re an adult, and you know exactly what you want and need in life, so I’m sure what’s meant to be will be.”

“Exactly.” Ashley gave her a smirk to which Trisha rolled her eyes.

Clapping her hands together, Trisha’s eyes glinted with mischief. “Okay so. Since it has been SO long since I have seen you. Since you are only going to bury yourself in more work and it will be ages until I see you again, we will go to a new exclusive club in town and drink and dance our night away. It is exclusive, its VIP. What do you say?” Trisha finished, wiggling her eyebrows at her.

Ashley let out a short laugh as she shook her head and replied, “Lead the way.”

/>   Trisha jumped from her seat, squealing excitedly. Grabbing her purse, she waited for Ashley to pay the bill and dragged her to the car.

“What are you high on these days?” Ashley laughed, nudging Trisha’s shoulder.

“Well excuse me for being human and not some workaholic robot.” Trisha countered.

“Did you bring your car today?”

Trisha asked Ashley as they walked to her car. Ashley shook her head. She didn’t usually drive herself.

  “Awesome! We’re taking mine then.”

Trisha stated, leaving no room for argument.

They got into the car, and Trisha drove to the new club.

“Why don’t we just turn around and go someplace less.. you know, cramped.” Ashley started as they drew near the club.

“Oh no, no, no. We are going to go to this club tonight, and we’re having the time of our lives.” Trisha said to her.

“You’re just dragging me here because Kevin’s here, right?” Ashley put her head back on the headrest.

  Trisha grinned at her.

MONARCHEE. The big neon sign displayed the club name. Ashley had to admit, it looked amazing.

Trisha handed the car keys to the valet as they got out of the car and made their way towards the club's main entrance.

The glass double doors were huge, and there was security on each side of the entrance. Trisha walked ahead of her, displaying a gold membership card to the guards as they nodded and opened the doors for them.

From the corner of her eye, Ashley noted teenage girls wearing skimpy outfits moving towards the back entrance.

There is no way they are old enough to get in. Ashley thought to herself.

Shaking her head, she followed Trisha into the club, immediately hit with the smell of alcohol and beat of the music. The party was already in full swing.

The club had a big dancefloor where bodies mixed as people danced their night away. A huge disco ball rested right above the center of the dancefloor, reflecting light throughout the club.

There was a large seating area with luxurious sofas throughout. Ashley noticed a VIP area and an upstairs area. She wondered what was upstairs.

Raised cages were around the dancefloor. Beautiful women in tiny underwear danced in them.

Trisha turned to Ashley and said something that Ashley couldn’t catch due to the blaring music in the background. Trisha took them straight towards the VIP area, and she was greeted by a massive figure who enveloped her in a hug. Trisha turned, and Ashley recognized the good looking muscly guy as Trisha’s fiancé, Kevin. They had the rockiest relationship Ashley had ever seen. But tonight, at least, they looked to be on good terms. He waved and smiled at Ashley as she returned the gesture.

So much for sticking together and dancing the night away, Ashley shook her head, amusingly.

She moved to the bar and turned her attention to the dancefloor. Immediately a figure caught her eye. An olive-skinned woman in a tight black dress. Curves everywhere. She was moving her body seductively at the music, Ashley couldn’t stop watching her.

Her eyes met Ashley’s and held their gaze for a long moment. Ashley smirked and then turned to face the bar.

“A Gin Fizz, please.” Ashley told the bartender.

“I take it you don’t go clubbing very often.” Ashley turned, and there was the young woman in the black dress. The young woman with the dangerous curves.

“Well, not a good time to imply I am too old for clubbing.” Ashley replied, her eyes taking in her intense eyes, her full lips. Damn, this girl was hot, and she knew it.

“Haha, no. I meant the Gin Fizz isn’t good here. You’d think they’d want to perfect their drinks since it’s a newly opened club but oh well. Nothing’s perfect.” The girl carried on.

“Two Vieux Carré, please.” She called to the bartender. Then she turned to Ashley and extended her hand.

  “Hi, I’m Carol.”

“Ah, but it isn’t Christmas yet.” Ashley teased, shaking her hand.

Carol laughed and shrugged. “Your lucky day then, isn’t it?”

Noticing Ashley’s office attire, Carol proceeded to ask,

“You came from work? What do you do?”

“I own my own company. You might have heard of it, AXEND Co.”

“Oh wow! I have read about you in a magazine. I knew you looked familiar. it’s really nice to meet you.”

“Do you want to come home with me tonight?” Ashley said confidently, her eyes flashing. She knew she was twenty years older than this girl, but she didn’t care. “Just one night. I don’t do dating or relationships.”

“By tomorrow morning, I’ll forget you exist!” Carol retaliated, with a smirk of her own.

Gulping down her drink in one go, Ashley got up, jacket in hand, and looked at Carol.

“Shall we?” Ashley extended her hand to Carol.

Carol smiled, taking her hand, following her out of the club.

“That’ll be $20.” The cab driver told the two women.

Ashley paid the driver and gave a tip, and they headed to her apartment building.

Carol couldn’t help but admire the beautiful building in one of the most expensive areas of NYC. She remembered the article she had seen on Ashley in the magazine. Ashley was one of the most successful businesswomen in the city. Of course, she lived here.

  53 West 53.

The women entered the building, greeted by the doorman, and stepped into the elevator.

Ashley pressed her designated floor, and the ride to her apartment was silent. The elevator doors opened. Ashley pushed her code into the digital security lock, and the doors to her apartment opened. It was a luxury penthouse, the whole top floor. Of course, it was incredible.

Carol stood stunned for a while as Ashley looked at her, amused.

“Like what you see?” Ashley teased Carol.

Carol grinned at her, “I hope the penthouse isn’t the only thing that will impress me tonight.” Ashley loved her confidence.

Ashley’s apartment was the 47th floor, overlooking the beautiful Central Park, the Hudson River, and Downtown Manhattan. It was huge, modern, and stunning.

The windows were floor to ceiling glass. The main area was open plan, and there was a magnificent glass chandelier in the middle. The floor was polished concrete. There was very little that was personal on display.

Carol went down the few steps to the living room and stood in awe of the place.

  Everything was so… perfect.

Ashley grabbed her hand, bringing her back from her thoughts and lead her to the stairs. Ashley lead Carol to a bedroom.

“Nice room.” Carol commented, looking around. There was nothing personal in the room. Carol went to sit on the Queen-sized bed, looking up at Ashley.

“Thanks.” Ashley replied. This was one of the guest rooms, where Ashley usually brought her one night stands.

Ashley stopped talking. They both knew that they weren’t there for talking. She reached to Carol’s mid-thigh. The hem of her tight dress. Ashley pushed her back onto the bed and peeled the dress upwards, revealing black lace underwear. Carol looked back at her, eyes wide, capitulating to her. Their eyes connected and held gaze as Ashley pulled down the black lace, down Carol’s smooth bronze legs, off over her ankles, taking her heels off with them. Carol didn’t close her legs. She knew she looked good. Her dark thatch of pubic curls drew Ashley’s eyes. Dark curls on top, smooth olive skin underneath. Soft olive wetness underneath.

Ashley took a deep breath. She wanted her. This was good. This was what she wanted. Beautiful younger women for one night only. Beautiful younger women who she could do as she wished with.

Ashley reached to the bedside table drawer and pulled out a black leather harness and a black dildo. She held them up as a question to Carol. Carol nodded her consent.

Ashley undressed leisurely and replaced her underwear with the harness; Carol watched her as she did. Ashley’s body was as Carol expected, lean in the soft light
, carefully and correctly kept, as her apartment was.

The black dildo jutted intimidatingly from Ashley’s groin. She loved wearing it. She loved the power that she felt with it. She approached Carol, holding her gaze. She pushed Carol’s legs roughly apart and put her fingers to Carol’s wetness. Running them up and down, Carol’s whole body quivered. Her pupils pooled with desire. Her legs widened of their own accord. Carol’s body begged for sex for her.

Carol moaned as Ashley pushed two fingers inside her. So wet. So wanting. She added a third and began to fuck her with them. Carol’s body responded as Ashley leaned into her, her strong arm going to work for Carol’s pleasure, hitting her G spot hard. Carol gushed on the bed linen. Ashley smiled. She removed her fingers and got on top of Carol, the dildo pushing at Carol with intent. It slid inside, welcomed, wanted. Ashley was bigger than Carol. She enjoyed the way her bigger frame was powerful over Carol. Carol’s pupils dilated further as the dildo entered her. Ashley enjoyed that it was big. She enjoyed that women knew about it when she fucked them. She enjoyed that women would still be feeling it days later.

She knelt back on her knees and pulled Carol’s body into her, onto the dildo, her hands on Carol’s hips. She thrust into her. Out and in. In and out. Carol’s body moved, and her full breasts swayed. Ashley loved to watch her. She loved to watch the lovely curves of her body as she moved. The smooth skin and loveliness of youth all displayed before her. All displayed for her.

Ashley pulled out and flipped Carol over. Her hands on Carol’s hips again, maneuvering her body where she wanted it, where it pleased her. Carol on all fours, round ass backed up to the side of the bed. Ashley stood behind her and entered her again, her hands on her hips, controlling her. Out and in. In and out. Fucking her. The lovely curve and the lines of her waist to her ass, perfect for watching. Her dark hair a messy mane. The dildo hit her G spot in this position, and Carol went wild for it. Ashley’s hands were holding tight on her hips, thrusting into her. Carol squirted everywhere as she came. Ashley smiled smugly to herself, still holding Carol up by her hips, her body quivering in orgasm. This was what Ashley really loved.
