A grey wolf stalked Shotgun. It’s bigger than a mountain lion! The monster charged at Shotgun, and it sprang for his throat.
The dwarf crouched to block the attack. “Hee-yah!” The dwarf spun about and kicked the wolf’s head. Spittle erupted from its mouth. Its teeth hit the sand. Surprised by the sandy sandwich, the grey wolf growled.
The dwarf leapt at the wolf, and kicked it again.
The monster landed on its feet. Its eyes flashed, and it bared its teeth. It shook with demonic fury and it circled Shotgun and studied its prey.
The dwarf kept his eyes on the grey wolf and tracked the monster.
A third wolf with a white stripe down its back snuck up behind the dwarf. It stalked Shotgun from the cover of the rocking horses.
The dwarf leapt at the grey wolf and kicked. “Hee-yah!” It ducked the dwarf’s attack, and he pounded sand. The dwarf feinted and attacked again.
The grey wolf evaded the dwarf’s kick, and it backed off and growled.
Shotgun took a stance to attack again.
The white wolf struck with blinding speed. It landed on Shotgun’s back, and drove him to the ground. He curled and rolled, and threw the white wolf off his back.
Sensing fear, the grey coiled itself to strike again and it sprang. It lashed at the dwarf and missed.
The dwarf dodged the attack, and recovered. He took a stance and sprang at the grey. “Hee-yah!” He kicked it in the belly.
The grey monster yelped. It backed off and growled in frustration.
The white beast attacked again.
Shotgun blocked the white wolf and he spun around. He sprang at the grey, “Hee-yah!” But the beast feinted to the left and leapt to the right. It dodged his kick. “Dagnabbit!” He struck sand and missed his chance to attack again.
Seeing the dwarf pound sand, the white wolf sensed an opening. It took a chance and attacked.
Shotgun heard a crunch in the sand. He twirled and kicked at the sound. “Hee-yah!” He nailed the white wolf in the belly, and sent it into the air. The white struck a rocking pony, and the toy flopped and slapped the beast to the sand. It wailed and writhed in pain.
The grey wolf sprinted passed and leapt over a pink pony. It dashed behind the swings and shot from an opening. It struck as fast as lightning.
“Hee-yah!” Shotgun twirled to block the monster’s claws. A flash of grey caught his eye, and he ducked. He spun the wrong way and pounded sand.
The monster rolled in mid-air, its jaws snapped, and it caught him in its fangs.
“Jinkies!”
