Jasmine's Joy (Mach'Doshna Book 2) Page 8

“Take me, my love. Take all of me. You will come again.” His fingers closed on her clit, pinching it as his teeth closed on her neck, biting down, claiming her again.

Jasmine felt like she was thrown into another world with the intense orgasm that had exploded through her. She didn’t know it was possible to top the last one, but he did. She arched her back, the scream that tore from her throat reverberated off the cavern walls, as darkness took her.

  Chapter 27

Jasmine smiled, talk about rocking her world, it was still rocking, or was it. Her brows furrowed as she concentrated, wondering what was going on. Her eyes opened, but she still couldn’t see anything. She remembered having the most amazing sex… well, she didn’t really have anything to compare it to, since Jo’siah was her first. Then, nothing. Panic started to take hold, somehow since passing out, and coming to, she had gone blind. And what was with the rocking, was there an earthquake?

Jo’siah laid a kiss on Jasmine’s head, as he stopped walking. “I can feel your fear, little one. What has you so scared? You can trust that I would never let any harm come to you.”

She realized then, it wasn’t an earthquake, Jo’siah was carrying her. “What happened? Why am I blind all of a sudden? And am I going to pass out every time we make love? Because, if I am, that’s gonna get old really fast.”

“Make love, I like that, much more than mating. Making our love a physical act, yes. You are blind, my mate, because your human eyes cannot see. And the reason you passed out was because I claimed you.”

“Wait,” She wiggled around, and pushed against him, until he set her on her feet. She tried to step back, but he wouldn’t release her.

“Jasmine, little one, you must stop fighting me. You are standing on the edge of a very steep, very deep pit.”

“Oh!” She threw herself back into his arms. She looked up, at where she figured his face should be. “What do you mean, you claimed me? Is that what happened the last time we…you know?”

“Made love? Mated? Or there’s always Felisha’s word, which I thought was a very interesting word, fucked?”

“Don’t say that word, I don’t like it, it’s vulgar.”

She felt his lips brush against her ear as he whispered, “Fucked. There is nothing between us that is vulgar.” She felt her nipples harden, and her pussy clenched. She wasn’t sure if it was because of the words he spoke, or just having him that close to her that did it, but she found she seriously wanted to take him again.

“Wait! Don’t distract me! What did you mean, ‘claim’ me? What does that even mean?”

“You are my lifemate, I claimed you. We are now mated for all time. I could feel our bond weakening, so I claimed you again. You thought to leave me, to go back to your world.” His hands gripped her arms so tight; she was sure she would have bruises. “Do you not know how that would have ended? Think about it. What happened just before you came into my world? If you chose to return to your world, you would wind up right back where you were before you emerged from the sea.”

  “But…I saw the shore—”

“No, little one. Ki’zander flew out to bring you in. You never would have made it to the beach without his aid. I would have lost you before I even had you. If you were to return to your world, you would have been in the very same situation. Except, this time, there would be no Ki’zander.”

She leaned her forehead against his chest, thinking about all that he had said. If she hadn’t come to this world, she would have drowned. She owed her life to him and to Zander. Her life…he said lifemate, and ‘for all time’. “Wait a minute!” She punched him, thinking it was his stomach, but she didn’t account for the height difference.

A loud grunt came from Jo’siah as he fell backward. However, he never released Jasmine, so she found herself on the hard floor between his knees and the cave wall behind her. Jo’siah was rocking back and forth, one hand grasped Jasmine’s wrist, while the other clamped down on his aching balls.

Jasmine knew she should probably feel bad about what she had done, but she couldn’t bring herself to feel any guilt. He had claimed her, for all time. She had read enough romance novels to understand what that meant.

She stood up, glaring at where she thought he still was, turned and started walking. She kept one hand on the wall, using her anger to hold back the panic at being completely blind, as she headed back toward the others.

  Chapter 28

She was overjoyed at seeing light ahead, she could just make out her traveling companions. She knew she would have to eventually forgive Felisha for what had happened before she even knew all of them, but today wasn’t going to be that day.

The path ahead of her started taking shape, as she neared the flame that seemed to be floating in front of Zander. Finally, feeling safe to release the wall, she ran and scooped the boy up into her arms.

“Zander! I’m so happy to see you!” She just couldn’t seem to help the tears that ran down her face, or the sob that broke from her throat.

“Why are you crying Jaz? Can I call you Jaz? Felisha called you that, and since you call me Zander, I thought it would be okay? It is okay, isn’t it? Is that why you’re crying? No, that can’t be right, because I called you that, after you started crying.”

Jasmine laughed, then looked behind him. Jo’siah had finally caught up to them, and he seemed to be limping. Her smile faded as she thought about what he had done, and how he never even asked her how she would feel about it, never given her a choice.”

Ki’zander followed her gaze and saw ‘Siah walking slowly toward them. He may be a young, but he did understand guilt, and he knew what it looked like on someone’s face. He narrowed his eyes, glaring at his adopted brother. “What did you do to Jasmine?”

“Yes, brother, what did you do to my new sister?” J’amar stood behind their father, holding Felisha in his arms. Both were glaring at him.

“I too, would like to know. She seems to be a gentle soul, but she’s angry and I can see that she is hurting. What have you done, my son?” Jos’eph’s arms were crossed over his massive chest, one foot pressed against the cavern wall, as he leaned back.

Placing his huge cock out there for all to see. It seemed to be growing, getting hard—

“Fuck, Felisha! Would you please stop looking at everyone’s cock?” J’amar turned her away, then shifted into his cat, knelt and waited until she climbed on.

“Sorry, it was just so…so out there? How could I have missed it? You know,” She laid against his back and whispered in his ear. A moment later they were out of sight.

“What does she mean, she wants to suck his big cock?” Jo’siah stopped then turned his wide eyes back to Jasmine. “Is that a thing? Do —” When Jasmine started nodding her head, he let out a deafening roar, then shifted to his cat, and stopped just in front of her, waiting for her to climb on.

She had barely grabbed onto his mane when he ran like the wind, bringing them back into complete darkness.

  Chapter 29

Jos’eph was left standing alone with the baby Mach. He liked the little guy, but he was still unsure about bringing a Mach back to his home. How could he be sure this Mach wouldn’t at some point lose his temper and burn his young to nothing but a small pile of ash. After all, J’osh was still but a tiny babe, with J’amal barely a year older. It wouldn’t take much for him to kill them.

Ki’zander stared at the huge man in front of him. He knew this would be his adopted father, but all he could see was hatred and distrust. He knew the Doshna couldn’t burn him, but he also knew that when he was vulnerable, the beast could tear out his throat. A tear slipped down his cheek when he realized that it seemed nobody wanted him. His own mother had left him alone in the swamp for dexionuns, not knowing if he lived or died.

Bowing his head, he turned to go back the way they had come, ready to return to his swamp. It was home, after all. He closed his fist, extinguishing his flame, and started walking.

  “Where are yo
u going, son?”

Ki’zander turned his wide eyes back to the Doshna, “What?”

“I asked where you were going?”

“No, you said son…oh, you just said son because I’m so young, didn’t you?” The last part was said so low that if it weren’t for his cat, he never would have heard him.

“Ki’zander, do you realize just who Jo’siah is?”

“He’s a Doshna, the mate to Jasmine. Brother to J’amar and Felisha.”

Jos’eph knelt in front of the small boy, laid his hand on his shoulder, and spoke in a soft voice. “Those things are a small part of who he is. But do you know who else he is? I mean, the importance of who and what he is?”

Ki’zander just shook his head, as he stared up at the tall Doshna.

“Jo’siah is the heir to the throne of the Doshna empire. One day he shall rule all of the kingdom of Doshna’Asher. Now that he has found his mate, it may be sooner than we suspect.” He cocked his head and smiled down at the boy. If what he suspected was true, it would indeed be very soon.

Ki’zander remembered when he was wounded and Jo’siah had given him a command, but the words hadn’t penetrated his painfilled mind, he just heard the command in the voice. “What does that mean for me, sir?”

“Well, one day he will be the ruler, and what do rulers do?”

“Um, I don’t know… My papa…” He sniffled, as a tear rolled down his cheek.

He pulled the boy into his arms and kissed the top of his head. In such a short time, this little boy had already been through so much. His whole world had been taken from him. He was sure the king of the Mach was dead, leaving behind a half-crazed Mach to rule in his stead. Kat’arina had been locked in a small cage for nearly an ionun. He had been forced to hide in the swamp below the very castle where he should have been kept safe and loved.

He picked the boy up and started walking back toward the exit where his warriors awaited. “Rulers make rules, little man. It seems a new rule that he has installed includes one small Mach as a brother to the ruling family of Doshna’Asher.”

As he walked, he noticed the boy had fallen asleep in his arms. “Yes, I can see how you won over the hearts of the most powerful and most feared Doshna in all the lands, for you seem to have won mine as well.”

  Chapter 30

Jo’siah arrived at the exit just behind his brother. The opening was clogged with about a dozen Doshna in various stages of shift and sleep. He wanted to roar with the rage he felt at not being able to find out what this sucking of cock was all about.

Felisha was leaning against the wall of the cave, staring at all the warriors lining the surrounding walls and floors. J’amar seemed ready to tear the head from one of the younger warriors who just couldn’t seem to be able to control his lust.

“I swear to you, if you do not look away from my mate, I will be forced to remove your head, or your cock! Which will it be?”

The young male turned around abruptly and nearly fell over the edge of the narrow path in his haste to get away from the angry prince.

“Why is everyone here? Why have you not started back toward the safety of Doshna’Asher?” Jo’siah asked as he took his human form, walking toward his brother.

“The Mach are patrolling the borders. More so than usual. We may well have to wait until nightfall to leave the cavern.”

Jo’siah started pacing, he knew he wouldn’t be able to wait that long to have his mate again. Judging by the strained expression on J’amar’s face, neither would he.

Jasmine was standing in the shadows watching what was happening near the entrance. So many large men, and lions…Doshna. She would have to get used to that. To her they looked just like lions, but it seemed Jo’siah took offense at being compared to the earth animal.

Why, oh why had she given him the impression that she would give him head. She had never even had sex until they met, let alone anything else. Sure, her and Marcus had messed around with some heavy petting, but that was it. Once he had shoved her hand down his pants, she blushed at the memory. It was nothing like what she had experienced with Jo’siah. She had no idea their cocks could be so huge.

Looking around at the other men, it seemed that was the norm for them. But why were they all so aroused? Was it normal? Were men always aroused around women?

Suddenly a loud roar startled her. She looked around as several warriors were holding J’amar back from a blushing young man.

“I’m sorry J’amar! Your mate keeps staring at my cock, then talking about how she can hardly wait to suck yours… then she went into detail. I’m just not that strong.”

She noticed another male had caught Felisha’s attention, he seemed to be stroking himself. He threw his head back as his cock spurted come all over the floor of the cave.

“J’amar, I think you need to take your mate back into the dark tunnels until it is safe to leave. You can’t go around killing ever male who captures her attention.”

Felisha slapped a hand over her mouth. “Fuck! Was I speaking out loud again? There’s just an overabundance of huge cocks around here. It’s been a really long time since I got me any, you know!”

A moment later, J’amar walked by dragging Felisha right behind him.

Jo’siah walked up and pulled Jasmine into his arms. “Hey, you okay?”

“Is she a nympho or something?” She stared at the fading pair. J’amar had started undressing her. It seemed they wouldn’t make it out of her sight, after all. She turned around, “Are they going to —”

“I don’t know what a nympho is, but my people are very sexual beings. We don’t hold the same views about mating that human’s do. If we feel the need to take our mate in the middle of the town square, then we take her.”

“Oh, no!” Jasmine felt an insurgence of panic. What had she gotten herself into? There was no way she would ever be alright with that. She wasn’t like Felisha, she was shy. Extremely shy.

“Do not worry, little one. I understand our differences, and I embrace them. I will never do anything to make you uncomfortable.”

“I’m glad, because I could never do that. I would die if you tried to do to me what he is doing with her.”

“I know that you may not understand how important you are to me, but without you, I am nothing. I have been watching you for ionuns, in my dreams. The Goddess has shown you to me. It’s the only thing that has kept me sane through all these ionuns.”

  “I don’t understand.”

“Our people will suffer from Ishala’tana, a madness that takes over, if we don’t find our lifemate by a certain age. I found you but had not been able to claim you for so long. The knowledge that I had found my mate is the only thing that has kept me from going completely insane. Had I not seen you, been able to watch, even from afar, I would have gone mad long ago.

“That is what is wrong with Ki’shien. He is older than me, by about ten ionuns. Something has kept him from going over the edge, but it has only barely kept it at bay. I’m afraid it won’t be much longer before he goes totally insane. Then he will take the form of his Mach and go on a killing rampage, forcing his warriors to hunt him down.”

A commotion at the edge of the cave drew his attention. He ran over to see what was happening. He grabbed the warrior who was keeping watch. “What is it, what has happened?”

“All at once, all of the Mach flew off toward the castle, only to pass by again, headed deeper into the mountain. Ki’shien passed over with another Mach in his clutches. I don’t know for sure, but he looked like he was charred beyond hope.”

“Why would he do such a thing? He isn’t known for his mercy.”

  “Because it was K’ivan.”

  Chapter 31

Jo’siah called to the warriors, startling some out of a sound sleep. It was time to make their way back to Doshna’Asher, while the Mach were busy elsewhere.

He ran back to Jasmine, “I’m going to take my Doshna form, then I will kneel for you to ride on my back. Now, should
you tire, and be unable to hold on any longer, whatever you do, don’t let go. You must warn me, and I will stop. In this form I travel very fast, were you to fall from my back, at that speed, you would not survive.”

She hesitated, standing on her toes, she tried to look behind the large group of warriors who had surrounded them, ready to lead their group home. “Okay, I understand. But, what about Zander? And your father?”

“They’ll be along shortly. I can already scent them. He is not in his Doshna form, that is what has taken them so long. Which can only mean the babe is sleeping. My father won’t harm him, you can trust that. He may not like Mach, but he would never hurt a child.”

Jasmine nodded, not really convinced, but she knew she had no choice. “Alright, then, I’m ready. Go ahead, the sooner we can leave this place, the better. I’ve had enough dragons and darkness to last a lifetime.”

He wasted no time; Jasmine had barely grabbed his thick mane when he sprinted from the cave and toward the peak in the distance. With any luck, and the blessings of the Goddess, they would be in their own lands come nightfall.

He still hadn’t found out what this sucking of cock was all about, but he was determined to find out before the night was over.

They had just made the top of the mountain that put them back in their lands as the sun was setting. They should be safe from the Mach from here until they reached home. Should, but never had they gone onto their lands and taken not one, but two Machs back with them. And it wasn’t just any two, the queen and a young prince. He was sure they would have to find cover for the night.

One of the major differences between Doshna’Asher and Mach’Stalage, there were almost no caves in Doshna’Asher. They would have to find a large copse of trees and hope the Mach wouldn’t be able to see them from overhead. Which also meant there would be no fire until they were closer to home.

There was a loud commotion behind them, Jo’siah feared the Mach had found them. He stopped and knelt, waiting for Jasmine to get off his back. When nothing happened, he shifted back to his human form.
