“I’ll be fine,” Billy said, shaking it off and putting a smile on his face. “And, you did so much to make me happy,” he added as he pulled Stuart into an embrace. “I love you...you know that?”

Stuart kissed Billy and then answered. “I do. Do you know I love you too?” he asked, accentuating each word with another small kiss on Billy’s lips.

“Yeah, yeah, yeah,” Billy laughed. “Are you already for us to be living together?” he asked. In just three days, Stuart, Jeff, and he would be moving into the dorms of the university. There would be a forth roommate as well, but they had no idea who that would be yet.

“I ain’t seen no ring on this finger!” Stuart joked before turning serious again. “It’ll be a dream come true,” he answered honestly.

That night, Stuart stayed over with Billy. The two young lovers lay in each other’s arms and talked about what it would be like starting college and living together until eventually they fell asleep.

Only a couple of hours after they fell asleep, Billy was awoken with the sun from the window shining directly into his eyes. “Ugghhhh!” he yelled as he searched for an extra pillow to put over his face. He found one but it didn’t really help. Now that he was awake, he realized he had to really use the bathroom.

After draining his bladder, he walked naked back to bed. As he slid under the covers, he wrapped his arms around Stuart’s smooth chest and kissed his neck.

  “Mmmmmm,” Stuart moaned.

Billy moved his lips up slightly and kissed Stuart’s earlobe, eliciting more moans of pleasure from his boyfriend. As he continued, his dick once again became rock hard...only this time it wasn’t from his need to urinate.

“Can’t this wait til we wake up?” Stuart mumbled, jokingly.

“Okay,” Billy answered, immediately rolling back onto his own side of the bed and turning sideways away from Stuart.

“Oh no you don’t!” Stuart excitedly replied as he quickly turned over, spun Billy onto his back and then instantly straddled him.

They spent the next ninety minutes making love before finally collapsing in a sweaty mess. “Man, I need a nap now,” Billy joked as he squeezed Stuart’s hand and thought about how lucky he was to have such a great boyfriend.

  Chapter 2

“I got the last one!” Jeff yelled as he carried the last of their boxes into the U-Haul. He had waited for that moment for all his life...to finally be leaving the nest. He was tired of the overprotective parenting and rules.

  “Shotgun!” Stuart called.

“It’s my jeep!” Billy laughed as he got into the driver’s seat of the jeep. He and Stuart would be following Jeff, who would be driving the U-Haul, with his own car in tow.

They had to drive slow but in no time, they were pulling up to the college. “Can you believe we’re here?” Billy asked Stuart. With everything he had been through, especially the freezing of his dad’s money, he almost thought school wouldn’t be an option. But, with a lot of scholarship and financial aid forms, he made it. He was going to have to keep his grades up, much higher than the ones he made in high school, but it was worth it. Besides, he would be living with his tutor so he wasn’t all that worried.

“I’m still surprised we’re going to the same school...not just you and me, but all three of us,” Stuart answered. It was pure coincidence that Jeff had applied to and been accepted at the same school Stuart and Billy had chosen. Only later did they find out his father was an alumni and a legacy with one of the fraternities.

As they all worked on unpacking the U-Haul and heading up to their fourth floor dorm room, Billy and Stuart couldn’t help but laugh at Jeff. His neck was constantly craned to one side, checking out the female student population. They were surprised he only ran into a wall twice and not much more than that.

The dorm room was setup with a kitchen to the left side of the door and a small common area infront of that. To the right of the door was a tiny dining nook. Then there were hallways going off to both the left and the right. At the end of each hallway were two bedrooms and a bathroom. Jeff let Billy and Stuart have the right side, so they would be bear each other, and took the end room on the left side for himself. As far as they could tell, their fourth roommate had not yet arrived.

They hadn’t even been in the dorm for an hour before Jeff was ready to go check out the frat house. “Come on,” he begged, trying to get either Billy or Stuart to go with him.

“I think you’re on your own,” Billy told him after Stuart had already said ‘no’. “I’m gonna stay in and unpack. I might check out the campus later though if you wanna do that.”

“Lame ass!” Jeff said as he chuckled and went out on his own.

It took two and a half hours, but Stuart and Billy had their entire rooms all unpacked and setup by the time Jeff returned. “Okay!” Jeff announced. “Here’s the deal. My brothers are throwing a party tonight and we’re all invited.”

“Your brothers?” Stuart asked, a bit confused.

“He thinks he’s already in the fraternity,” Billy explained with a sarcastic smile.

“Laugh if you want, but me getting in is just a formality. I’m a legacy,” Jeff reminded them for the umpteenth time. “So, who’s in?” he asked when neither of his friends responded.

“I’ll go,” Stuart answered and looked to Billy to see what he thought. Even though he no longer looked and sounded it, Stuart still considered himself a geek. He never thought in a million years that he would have the chance to go to a frat party, and he had to admit he was curious. He didn’t want to go without Billy, though.

“I’m getting a headache,” Billy answered. “You guys go and have fun. Just not too much fun,” he added quickly. The old Billy probably would’ve jumped on a party at a frat house, but he had no interest in scoping out chicks or even guys anymore. He had Stuart. And, as far as the drinking, he had been there and done that. He wanted to start college off on a more serious note, so he could keep his grades up and retain the scholarships he had.

It took some convincing, but Stuart eventually agreed to go to the party without Billy. “I won’t be late,” he promised before giving Billy a kiss and heading out.

As Billy sat alone in the dorm, he couldn’t help but smile. It had been a long time he had n entire place all to himself and he was really enjoying the peace and quiet. It didn’t last long, though. Just before dark, he heard a key in the lock. He assumed it was Stuart coming back early like he promised, but as the door opened, Billy saw a tall, skinny guy followed by an older man and woman Billy assumed must’ve been the kid’s parents.

“Hi, I’m Billy,” he jumped up and grabbed one of the boxes from the kid’s mom. “Let me get that for you.”

“I’m Stan,” the kid said with a head nod. “These are my folks.”

From the kid’s attire, Billy assumed maybe his new roommate played basketball. He wore powder blue basketball shorts and a matching jersey. “You play ball?” Billy asked after showing Stan which room was his.

“Yeah, I was varsity in high school,” Stan answered.

After all of the boxes were put up, Stan’s parents asked Billy a lot of questions about himself, Stuart and Jeff. “So, you all went to high school together?” his mom asked pleasantly, but she had a worried look on her face.

“Yeah, but we’re all really easy to get along with. We’ll make Stan part of our group in no time,” Billy attempted to assure her as he squeezed Stan’s shoulder.

“I’ll be fine mom,” Stan insisted, embarrassed that his parents were treating him like such a bay on his first day at college.

“Well, just call if you need anything,” his mom insisted as Stan attempted to push her out the door.

“I’m sorry about that,” he told Billy once the door was closed and they were alone.

“She loves you. Consider yourself lucky,” Billy replied thoughtfully, thinking of his own mother who was in Heaven, without elaborating. Afterwards, he offered to help Stan unpack and as they did, the
y told each other their basic stories of where they were from.

  Chapter 3

“I really should be going,” Stuart said with a slight slur as Jeff handed him yet another drink.

“Come on, bro...the party is just now getting going,” Jeff urged.

“Alright, another half hour, but that’s it!” Stuart said firmly, yelling to be heard over the crowd of people and music.

The party was everything Jeff and Stuart pictured in their heads from the movies they had seen. There were dancing co-eds everywhere, dumb jocks, a backyard fully of music, booze and partiers. It wasn’t the life Stuart saw himself enjoying for more than a night here or there, but Jeff seemed as though he was in Heaven.

Just as Stuart’s half hour time limit approached, Jeff refilled their cups and made Stuart at least participate in one final drink before leaving. Only, that one final drink turned into two and then three.

As the alcohol started to really impair Stuart’s senses, he found a spot on one of the frat house’s couches to just sit down and try to sober up.

  “Hey, what’s up?”

Stuart looked up to see a set of twins standing before him. As he rubbed his eyes, he saw it really was only one guy. He had just been seeing double. The guy wore a pair of khaki cargo shorts and a blue striped tank top that showed off his tan, bulging biceps. “I think I had too much to drink,” Stuart stumbled to say, laughing halfway through.

“I’m not sure I’ve ever heard of such a thing,” the guy replied, taking a seat next to Stuart. “I’m Guy, by the way,” he said.

As they talked, Stuart had a hard time concentrating on what was being said. Had he been clear-headed he would’ve been able to tell that Guy was flirting with him. Before he knew it, Guy’s hand was on his knee, massaging him.

“What are you doing?” Stuart asked not really even sure if he had spoken the words aloud.

“Let’s go upstairs,” Guy said, taking Stuart by the hand and leading him up the wooden staircase.

It all felt like a dream to Stuart. He was going through the motions and so turned on, but he didn’t think any of it was really real. For him, it was like he was in bed jacking off to a fantasy. Only after waking up naked in bed a few minutes later did it occur to him what he had done.

“We gotta go!” he told Jeff once he had located him.

“Alright...soon,” Jeff answered, not really noticing how agitated Stuart was.

“No! Now!” Stuart insisted before he slapped his hands over his mouth and ran for the backyard where he began to vomit.

“What’s wrong?” Jeff laughed, figuring Stuart had just had too much to drink.

That was part of it, but the queasiness Stuart was feeling was not caused solely from the copious amounts of alcohol he had consumed. It also stemmed from his encounter with Guy. He had cheated on Billy and could never take that back.

“I just need to get home,” Stuart said once his stomach muscles settled down. At further prying from Jeff, he added, “I did something...something bad.”

  “It’s alright, it’s a party!” Jeff insisted.

“No it’s not! I cheated. I’m a cheater! I slept with some guy!” Stuart yelled. Jeff didn’t seem surprised, though.

“I thought I saw you chatting up some hottie,” Jeff smiled. “I knew you’d like him.”

“What?!” Stuart yelled. “Did you send him over to hit on me?” He couldn’t believe what he was hearing.

“Well, I wanted you to have fun so you wouldn’t want to leave,” Jeff tried to defend himself. “I didn’t know you were going to fuck him.”

Stuart wanted to yell or hit Jeff, or something, but he knew it really was his own fault. No one made him keep drinking or sleep with Guy. He did those things all on his own.

After getting cleaned up in the bathroom, Stuart and Jeff walked back to the dorms. It was already three in the morning and the streets were empty. All Stuart could think about was what he was going to tell Billy.

“You don’t have to tell him anything,” Jeff advised. “It was a stupid drunken moment. You love Billy. He never has to know. I’ve got your back.”

Stuart looked Jeff in the eye. He didn’t like the thought of lying to Billy, but he was also scared of losing him if he told the truth. In that instant, though, he knew he had too. As he made Jeff swear not to ever say anything, Stuart felt as though he were making a deal with the devil.

“Hey,” Stuart whispered as he entered Billy’s room and slid onto the edge of the bed. “Sorry I was out so late...Jeff kept giving me more drinks so I’d stay.”

“Yeah, I can smell it,” Billy answered as he sleepily turned over. He wasn’t mad. He wanted Stuart to have fun. He just wished he would’ve called to say he was coming home late. “It’s fine. Just go get some sleep,” Billy added.

Stuart was a bit hurt. He wanted so badly to sleep with Billy in his bed, but he didn’t argue. Instead he slumped off, stopping at the door to whisper, “I love you,” to Billy, but Billy was already asleep again.

Stuart went to his bedroom and got undressed before climbing under the covers. Once he was in bed, he felt like he needed to throw up. Fortunately, in spite of the extreme guilt he was feeling, he fell asleep within minutes.

  Chapter 4

The next morning, Stuart’s head was about to explode. “Ya feeling it this morning?” Billy asked, remembering the feeling he would experience the day after a night of hard partying.

“Yeah....can you whisper, please?” Stuart answered as he sat up in bed and rubbed the sleep from his eyes.

“Here, drink this,” Billy whispered, more for effect, as he handed his boyfriend a glass filled with tomato juice, raw eggs, oil and some powdered aspirin.

“Oh, this is so nasty!” Stuart yelled before realizing what that would do to his head.

“Just drink it...it’ll help. Trust me,” Billy urged.

After watching Stuart down the entire contents of the glass, Billy told him to lay back down for a little bit. “Don’t let me sleep too long,” Stuart made Billy promise before leaving.

While Stuart rested, Billy decided to join Stan who was already in the living room watching TV. “I’m anxious to meet them,” Jeff said after Billy explained why Stuart and Jeff were still in bed.

“Stuart’s not much of a partier, but Jeff on the other hand...,” Billy begun but stopped short as he heard Jeff’s door open.

“Jeff is what?” Jeff asked with a smile as he stood in the doorway wearing only a pair of boxer-shorts. He scratched his belly and looked at Billy and Stan through one eye. The other was still getting used to the sunlight coming through the living room windows.

“I was telling our roommate, Stan, that you were more of a partier than Stuart,” Billy laughed.

“Fuck yeah!” Jeff agreed before heading off to the bathroom.

Once everyone was up, showered and dressed, the four guys decided to explore the campus a little before heading to their orientation meeting.

“I’m really sorry,” Stuart once again apologized as he and Billy walked a bit behind Jeff and Stan.

“I told you its fine,” Billy told him, “It’s not a big deal.”

Stuart knew it was, but he couldn’t say anything so he tried to put it out of his mind.

As they walked around the campus, they each pointed out where their classes were. Billy, Stuart and Jeff all had two classes together, and Billy and Jeff shared another one. Stan wasn’t in any of their classes but he was going to try to switch one of his around so he could be. It would make study sessions easier since they all lived together.

Just after they passed the baseball field, Stan suggested they all make their way over to the auditorium.

“I hope this doesn’t take long,” Jeff complained as the four of them sat in the auditorium with all of the other new college freshman, waiting on the orientation to begin. He was never one to like class or anything that wasn’t fun. Once the orientation did begin, he spent the entire time flirting with a girl two
rows ahead of him rather than pay attention to any of the material.

“Dude, did you hear any of that?” Billy asked once they made it back outside.

  “What?” Jeff asked, clueless.

“The rules, the procedures, yada-yada-yada,” Billy laughed.

“I’ll just get you to fill me in later,” Jeff answered with no real concern for what he missed.

For the most part, during their exploring and orientation, Stan remained quiet. The only one he really knew up to that point was Billy. After they all got back to the dorm, though, he got a chance to get to know Jeff and Stuart a little better as the four of them played video games all night.

“We should do something fun tomorrow!” Jeff shouted as he came out of the bathroom and rejoined the others around the TV. “It’s our last day before school starts...let’s get wild!”

“Weren’t you wild last night?” Billy asked, reminding him that he had just partied only hours before.

“I don’t mean party...let’s do something, like...like....like, let’s go to Manhattan!” Jeff suggested.

“It’s not that far away,” Billy agreed as he looked to see what the rest of the group thought.

Stuart was a little uneasy about following any of Jeff’s plans after what had happened the previous night, but he did like the idea of going to the city. “Okay, let’s go,” he offered, followed by Stan.

For the next hour, they looked up bus info and prices because no one wanted to drive their car into the city knowing it would be hard or costly to find parking. After determining the cost of bus tickets, though, they eventually decided to make a compromise. They would drive as far as the closest bus-subway stop that was out of the main city, and just take the transit system into the Port Authority terminal.
