might have happened that, a hairdresser would be cutting hair, singing along to one of Jesse’s original songs and the song would spread and be hummed and crooned by customers, who would go out into the world, wanting to find out more about this beguiling, bewitching tune. And so, as time went on, it was as if some spirit, some essence of Jesse, spread about the cosmos. And his stories and his songs and his wit, became part of some great mythos, a folk tale: a legend.
