Excerpt from The Historium
The will to evolve beyond the disaster of their past flourished during the first centuries of Etus as the people learned to interweave the harmony of cooperation throughout their society.
As they worked toward this goal, they grew aware that when you make good and order the foundation of your will, you uncap an inexhaustible well of positive energy: the energy of integrity (truthfulness and sincerity), prudence (wisdom and care in what you do), responsibility (self-accountability for your actions), forgiveness (accepting mistakes and errors in yourself and others as a means to learn and mature), and justice (fairness and reasonableness in how you treat others).
The will to overcome the failures of their past was the power that propelled them forward into spirit-awareness.
Spirit is the essence of being that exists beyond the academics of mind and the physical senses of Temporal. It is as a light that illuminates deceits that cloud and confuse. It is as a lens through which we glimpse paths spiraling through the mundane that guide us toward Truth.
Spirit-awareness, however, is a skill that must be practiced.
And, as the people of Etus gained proficiency, many discovered fresh new paths toward the truth of everlasting peace and well-being within the world that they were making.
By the end of the first millennium, humankind had laid the foundation for a new age—they were on the doorstep of young adulthood.
