Ukko's Discovery (The Chosen 1) Page 2

by Shara Azod

If she wanted to she could will herself back to San Diego right this second. That was the last thing she wanted to do. Honestly, she hadn’t wanted to run from him earlier, either. Even though Nimah had dreamed of Ukko, she’d never been able to find him. There was never enough detail in her dreams or visions to pinpoint his location until yesterday, when his location popped into her consciousness, followed by a burning need to go to him. It took nothing to be there; she’d simply closed her eyes and willed herself there. She’d left everything behind just for a chance to finally meet him.

But things went horribly wrong. The homeless man she’d helped seemed to call out to her. In some odd way he was important to her and her future. His mind had been so befuddled, a darkness clouding the thoughts trying to push through -- he wanted to tell her something. He was there for her, and Ukko. Generally she never took the chance to showcase any of her abilities. The unseen threat could find her like that. There was always a cold chill that warned her of their nearness -- a shadow that smelled of pure evil warned her to flee whenever she used any of her gifts.

Nimah had felt the moment Ukko spotted her. His disbelief at what he was seeing as she healed the homeless man, his confusion and suspicion, bombarded her like physical blows. As much as her body and soul cried out for him, her first impulse had been to run. It had been so hard to even think! Her pussy creamed, aching with every step. She wanted to stop and run into his arms, but she just couldn’t.

So she’d run from him. Too intent on getting away from the man she wanted desperately but was suddenly unsure of, she’d missed the internal warning hardwired in her brain to disappear whenever an all-too-familiar chill raced down her spine. Their sudden appearance threw her. Expecting hideous, monstrous creatures, she was completely unprepared for the beautiful evil that tried to touch her.

Everything within her had rebelled at the wrongness of their touch. Repelling them had been remarkably easy, but Nimah knew without really knowing that it had been Ukko’s presence that enabled her to create the energy that felled them. Then why was it that Ukko, who she knew instinctively was far more powerful than she, could not do as she had done?

“What are you, woman?” Ukko demanded yet again, crushing her body to him.

He looked so deliciously furious. Confused and turned on at the same time. Even with his lips pressed into a tight line, they looked so amazingly kissable. Proof of his desire pressed insistently against her. She didn’t mean to rub up against it, not really. The sharp tug on her hair in response made her moan, her nipples hardening against his chest.

“I’m yours.” The words came out in a whisper of their own will. Nimah didn’t expect for them to be received very well. What kind of a man wanted some random woman declaring herself to be his, despite the bizarre circumstances of this entire situation?

In response, his lips crushed hers this time. This kiss was as possessive as the first had been passionate. As if to confirm her statement, Ukko took everything, leaving her panting and breathless before abruptly stepping away.

“You are no human woman.” Nimah had no idea what he meant by that. As far as she knew she was human. Wasn’t she? “You say you are mine, prove it.”

“What -- what do you mean?” Her heart thundered in her chest. Had she been wearing underwear, they would have been sodden by now. Her jeans felt abrasive against the bare skin of her cunt. She had prepared for this.

With a wave of his hand, her clothing tore apart, falling at her feet. Though she knew he could have easily disrobed himself in a similar way, he stood fully clothed, his hands going to the fastening of his pants.

“Kneel, Nimah. Show me how much you are mine.”

It was like being at a crossroads. She could easily just leave; there was no way he could stop her. It went against the grain to kneel in front of anyone. Nimah had made her own way in the world for ten long, lonely years. No one told her what to do. Those who tried often found themselves suffering painfully for it.

But she couldn’t deny this man. Not Ukko.

With her legs trembling, she knelt, lifting her head. Once again he gripped her hair, forcing her head back. “Open your mouth,” Ukko commanded in a harsh growl. His eyes glowed with blue fire, burning her bare skin.

Nimah opened, accepting his rigid shaft into her mouth. Her eyes closed as his flavor burst upon her taste buds. Her tongue snaked around the mushroom head before she slowly began to descend, moaning from the pleasure of it.

So this was what it was like. She had never touched another man. To do so would’ve been a betrayal of this dream man made flesh. She felt Ukko wrap her braids around his fist, guiding her as he increased her speed. She welcomed it, relaxing her throat to accept as much as she could of him inside her mouth.

“Nimah…” Her name sounded precious on his lips.

Increasing her suction, Nimah pulled against his grip to move faster up and down his throbbing cock. Ukko kept the grip on her hair, the sting traveling from her scalp down her spine to center in her pussy. Her hand crept between her spread thighs to rub where she ached, pinching her own clit as she sought to give him all the pleasure she could with her mouth.

He tore his dick free from her greedy suckling, exiting her lips with a pop. “I didn’t tell you to touch yourself, did I?”

Oh, God, the sensual threat in his voice made her ache more, made her even wetter. “No.”

How odd it was to submit to him; how right it felt.

  “On your feet.”

Though he commanded it, he didn’t wait for her to comply. Bending down, he plucked her off the ground as if she weighed nothing.

“Please, Ukko. I need…” Now she was begging. Nimah never begged anyone for anything. However, her need was great, and she felt as if she just might die if she couldn’t have him inside her in some way.

She blinked as he lifted her with an animistic growl, pinning her to the rough wall. Ukko dropping to his knees this time. He wasn’t gentle as he nipped and lapped his way down her belly to her sex. He hooked one of her legs over his shoulder before diving between them, lapping and tugging her sensitive flesh with his tongue and teeth. He spread her pussy lips apart with his fingers, holding her completely open for his ravenous feast.

Her clit seemed over sensitized. With every pass of his tongue, with every nip of his teeth, lightning seemed to zing from that sensitive bundle of nerves straight to her womb. When his lips closed around the tiny nub, sucking her as insistently as she had sucked him, Nimah felt as if she were losing her mind. Her body trembled as something inside broke free and flew. Her nails dug into his scalp as she tried hopelessly to hang on.

Before she could process what was happening to her, he was clawing his way up her body to sink inside her. He wasn’t a gentle lover by any means. Everything about him was hard. Rough. Dominant. Nimah had never been penetrated by a man before. Oh, she had experimented with various toys alone in her room at night -- how could she not when he was her constant dream companion since puberty? She’d just never allowed a man inside what she knew belonged to him. Only him.

He thrust inside forcefully, knocking the breath from her body. It hurt. It felt divine. It was the ultimate possession. The sensual burn made the ache inside her cunt worse. She needed more. “Ukko! Please!”

And then he began to move. He powered inside her, over and over again. The friction was delicious, making her raise her hips to meet his thrusts. She wanted more and more, wanted to be filled with him forever. Nothing had ever mattered as much as this -- nothing ever would.

  “You will come for me.”

Ukko, she was learning, was the demanding type. As if she could do any less.

Her legs tightened around his pounding hips, her pussy contracting harder and harder until her body seized, an eruption rising hard and fast from her very core.

“Ukko!” What was happening to her? She had experienced orgasms before, but this was something beyond. She shook as something inside her opened only to be filled by h
is essence. An inner light poured from her to him and back to her, only more intense.

“What are you doing to me?” It was hilarious he was asking that of her. As if she had a clue to what was going on between them. “Heaven save me, I am yours.”

  Chapter Three

Ukko didn’t want to leave Nimah for any amount of time, yet he had no choice. Her very existence was a miracle -- and a great danger. A female Spentas was unheard of, yet there could be no other explanation. Every one of the ancient warriors was born with birth marks that declared their lineage as well as their unique gift.

Sometime during the long night of exploring every inch of her delectable body, Ukko had discovered the sign. Or more accurately, signs. A tiny sickle, a torch, an all-seeing eye, and a tiny sword graced the base of her spine, right above her tailbone. The eye was problematic -- it was a sign of a Mainya -- but the other signs outweighed that one. At least Ukko hoped so. In any event, he had to travel to the Zargos Mountains to see a man born before the Earth was a hundred years old.

The king of the Spentas had become a recluse before the invention of cars and airplanes, ruling from his compound through surrogates, like Ukko. As one of the higher echelon of their warrior race, he could come and go at will. Didn’t mean he wanted to. He hadn’t seen any emotion from Cyrus -- or Darius, or Enlil, or whatever the hell the king was calling himself these days. The names had been many, but the powerful warrior never changed. The chill in Cyrus’ eyes could frighten the hosts of hell.

With one last look at the woman sprawled on the furs of his bed, Ukko willed himself to the wilds of what was once Ur, then Babylon, then Persia. On Cyrus’ mountain, there was no law of nations. No one ventured anywhere near the villages under his protection. Ukko had a sneaking suspicion the people still worshipped the king as a god, but he had never dared to “listen” to find out for sure.

“A general unannounced.” The deep voice, hoarse from disuse, seemed to come from some pit deep in the ground. “This had better be good, Ukko. I sent a message as to where I wanted you.”

Ukko was not afraid of the king. He had fought too many battles by his side, seen too much of the anguish Cyrus and his brother Netjer had gone through. It was very dangerous, however, to interrupt Cyrus when he did not wish to be bothered. Ukko had no time for the immortal’s mood swings. Life was long and endless, blah, blah, blah, the complaint was always the same, never ending throughout the centuries. Ukko’s discovery was monumental.

  “I have found a mate.”

One inky black brow raised over almost iridescent blue eyes. Cyrus stared from a golden throne -- talk about throwback -- waiting for an explanation.

“A woman with symbols at the base of her spine,” Ukko clarified before glancing at the ancient throne that seemed so out of place in modern times. It was hardly the time to be distracted by the absurdity of the thing, but he just couldn’t help it. “You do realize the world has marched on from such things, yes?”

“Bring the woman to me. I would see these so-called symbols.” Cyrus ignored the blithe comment completely. Not at all unusual. Those things which did not please Cyrus were ignored or destroyed. The man had no patience.

“You will not.” Ukko knew Cyrus might ask this. The debate he’d had within himself about even coming here had been over this. Had he been king, he would’ve demanded to see the symbols also. Ukko would never allow anyone to gaze upon Nimah in any state of undress. He would kill his own king if Cyrus insisted on anything of the sort.

“I am sensing rage and rebellion.” Cyrus wasn’t mad. The king was incredulous. No one defied him, except his brother. None of the Spentas could hold a candle to the powers the king, oldest of all the Spentas, carried with casual ease. Cyrus and Netjer could destroy cities with a glance. They were the only two who could actually kill a Mainya. “And more. You feel for this human woman this deeply? Is she some manner of witch unseen before?”

Humans were forever mixing their powers without any knowledge they even had any. Children of flighty Fae bred with sorceresses, latent shifters, shamans, all without knowing or even acknowledging the power combined in their bloodlines. But Nimah was no such creature.

“She is not human at all. I have seen the symbols, something you must take my word for. I will not allow anyone, not even you, to check the markings for yourself.” It was a bold statement, but it had to be said. “I watched her heal a man’s mental illness, something a witch or sorceress could not do.”

Cyrus said nothing for a few moments. Cocking his head, he simply studied Ukko as if he were some manner of being he’d never come across, which wasn’t possible. Cyrus had seen many species of humanoid, for lack of a better word, come and go. Ukko knew the king was probably probing him. Whatever he saw must have appeased him, because he sat back on the ostentatious throne, allowing locks of midnight hair to partially shield his face. Like he would give away whatever he thought or felt in the first place.

“I will not insist on examining your woman,” Cyrus said at last. “You would really challenge me over it.” It wasn’t a question, so Ukko didn’t answer. “You have more to tell.”

“Mainyas came after her, in San Diego. She… repelled them with very little effort. She doesn’t know how she did it.” Ukko didn’t have to think about how much to tell him. He probably had seen the entire thing by searching Ukko’s memories. Still, Ukko was a general, and it was his duty to fully inform the king. “She says she felt them searching for her and others like her.”

The brow rose again. “And this female, did she do something to you also?”

That just confused Ukko. Did something to him? He was fine. In fact, he felt better than he had in quite some time. The aches and pains from the fight with the Mainyas had been gone when he awakened.

“I cannot see your memories, Ukko. You are blocked to me,” Cyrus supplied. “I haven’t been able to read you at all since you first appeared. There is just light when I look. Not unlike when you and your brethren try to read an Elder, when I try to read Seth.”

Ukko was dumbfounded. Cyrus didn’t often point out the differences he and Netjer had with the other Spentas. It was implied, always there, but never really spoken of. But even more -- blocked? How was this even possible? Then he remembered the light. Whenever he and Nimah had joined throughout the night, and the times had been many, Ukko had been certain a light had flowed from her into him.

“Come, we have much to discuss.” Cyrus rose from the throne, beckoning Ukko to come deeper into his lair. He had hoped to simply report to Cyrus and go; he was anxious to get back to Nimah.

Memories of her scent, the feel of her skin, and her soft sighs of contentment had his skin feeling too tight for his body. His hands itched to touch her again, to be a part of her in the most intimate way. Even now his cock throbbed impatiently, wanting to be back inside his woman.

His woman. Something he had never hoped to have. But what in the hell was she?

  * * *

Nimah knew the moment Ukko left. As soon as he dematerialized, she sprang out of the bed. She had to go, before he returned. Being around Ukko only served to increase this insane need Nimah had for him to possess her body.

Though the night certainly could never be called a disaster, she’d learned absolutely nothing about who or what she was. She’d hoped once she found Ukko, he would have the answers -- at least some answers. Instead she was left more confused than ever. What the hell was he? Spentas, Mainyas -- the words meant nothing to her outside some vague recalling of ancient Zoroastrian legends.

She needed her mind clear if she was going to find any answers. She had to get back to San Diego, to the homeless man, before the Others -- Mainyas, Ukko had called them -- got to him. She had no idea why it was important, but she knew it was.

Maybe after she puzzled out the riddle of her very existence, she would locate him again. Hopefully he would still be somewhere in San Diego. She had used her own gifts on him, so he should be fairly easy to track, provide
d he hadn’t decided to move on now that most of his mind was clear. She hadn’t really had a chance to finish what she’d started before Ukko arrived.

But first a shower. Finding a bathroom in the mammoth fortress shaped like a long house was relatively easy. There were even female type toiletries, all new and unopened. She strongly suspected he had done this before he’d disappeared to wherever the hell he’d gone. It was a touching gesture, but did that mean he expected her to stay?

Not that she would, but Nimah couldn’t help but consider the possibility as she showered. Just because she couldn’t seem to forget the heights to which he had taken her the night before didn’t mean she thought they had anything even semi-permanent. It had been good -- she had always known it would be. But that didn’t mean forever. Besides, she’d already made up her mind to leave before he got back.

Stepping out of the large, multi-head shower, Nimah faced her next obstacle -- clothing. Her own clothes were in shreds. Wrapping a fluffy towel around herself, she tried to concentrate on summoning clothing. She’d done it before a couple of times in a pinch. All she had to do was think really hard about exactly what she wanted, and it would appear.

Only her mind kept traveling back to the night before. What she had been wearing was in tatters because Ukko had been so very impatient, so demanding. As Nimah had never known any other lover, she had nothing to compare it to, but it had shaken her to her core. His kisses branded her skin, his hands claimed ownership on a level she hadn’t expected.

“Don’t think about it,” she admonished herself out loud. She needed to fix her attention on the matter at hand. She couldn’t very well appear on the streets of San Diego in the nude. All she needed were some jeans and a T-shirt. Try as she might to visualize just that, her mind kept playing scenes of Ukko. Rippling muscles over her, smooth skin pressing against the softness of her own, the heavy, hard length of his cock gliding deep inside her wanting, pulsating pussy.
