  Martin Rose writes a range of fiction from the fantastic to the macabre. His early stories found homes in Necrotic Tissue and Murky Depths, and numerous venues and anthologies since, such as Heroic Fantasy Quarterly, Handsome Devil, Dread, and Baker Street Irregulars. The debut novel, Bring Me Flesh, I'll Bring Hell is a noir, dark novel of a zombie private investigator, and is recognized as one of "Notable Novels of 2014" in Best Horror of the Year, Vol. 7. He resides in the pine barrens of New Jersey, but believes the Jersey Devil was burned out long ago in the region's numerous wildfires. More details available at martinrose.org

  Martel Sardina lives near Chicago, Illinois. The only thing she loves more than writing fiction is reading it. Her passion for stories and storytellers have taken her on journeys to places she never dreamed she’d go. "A Soldier's Mercy" was born on a bus ride taken in Vegas, and Martel hopes you enjoy her interpretation of the dark side of desire.

  Lee Thomas is the Bram Stoker Award- and two-time Lambda Literary Award-winning author of The Dust of Wonderland, In the Closet, Under the Bed, The German, Torn, Like Light for Flies, Butcher’s Road, and Down On Your Knees, among others. His work has been translated into multiple languages and has been optioned for film. Lee lives in Austin, Texas with his husband John, and their family of animals.   Vince Liaguno

  Vince Liaguno is the Bram Stoker Award-winning editor of Unspeakable Horror: From the Shadows of the Closet (Dark Scribe Press 2008), an anthology of queer horror fiction, which he co-edited with Chad Helder. His debut novel, 2006’s The Literary Six, was a tribute to the slasher films of the 80s and won an Independent Publisher Award (IPPY) for Horror and was named a finalist in ForeWord Magazine’s Book of the Year Awards in the Gay/Lesbian Fiction category. He also edited Butcher Knives & Body Counts, a collection of essays on the formula, frights, and fun of the slasher film, and is currently at work finishing his second novel and his first short story collection.

  He currently resides on the eastern end of Long Island, New York, where he is a licensed nursing home administrator by day and a writer, anthologist, and pop culture enthusiast by night. He is a member of the National Book Critics Circle (NBCC) and the Horror Writers Association (HWA), for which he also served as Secretary and as a longtime member of the organization’s Board of Trustees.
