  Despitehowpreciousthelibrarylooked,entrywaseasy.Alexwaltzedinside withoutsomuchasneedingacard.

  Whathesawinsidefilledhimwithglee.

  Books.Lots,andlots,ofbooks.

  Perhapsthatisn’tthemostsurprisingthingtofindinalibrary,butthesheer amountondisplaywaswhatshockedAlex.Hesawmultiplefloors,allfilled, thatseemedtospantotheotherendoftheworld.Therewasnoshortageof selectionoptions.

  Foranyliteracyenthusiast,itwaslikeadream.

  “Thisissocool,”Alexsaidashetookinthebeautifulsight.Evenifthe bookshelovedallcontainedswordsandshields,thewrittenwordwasamedium hehadagreatrespectfor.“Iwonderifafantasyworldhasfantasybooksoftheir own?”

  “Erm…thanks?”Alexsaid,asthedoorsshutbehindhim,leavinghimalone inthegrandthroneroom.

  TheroyalcastlewaseverythingAlexexpectedfromafantasycastle.Agiant structure,carvedfromstone,decoratedwithelegantaccessoriesandfurniture, andfilledwithanarmyofservantsandknights.

  Eventhoughthethroneroomwasprettymucharoombuiltforonechair,it stillfoundroomforanexquisitecarpet,exoticchandeliers,andheavydrapes whichpartiallymaskedstained-glasswindows.

  Alexwasflabbergasted.Thebooksandstorieshereadlovedprophecies.He readhisfairsharethatinvolvedpropheciesaboutpeoplearrivingfromdifferent worlds.Theyalwaysreadsomethingalongthelinesofthepersonfromtheother world istheherooflegend.Notthatthey’rethesluttymotheroftheheroof legend.
