Tiff got up wordlessly. Mouselet remained behind—a quivering bundle of misery. He had failed utterly. It was questionable whether the coldblooded Orlgans would still consider him useful. If not, Mouselet's life wasn't worth a plugged franc.
Tiff got the idea how hard and merciless these lustily laughing people could be. Perry Rhodan had become a disturbance in their eyes.
They probably hadn't yet realized that Rhodan wasn't merely a nuisance but a formidable antagonist because of Mouselet's embellishing tales.
