Old Ladies Club: Rage Ryders MC Page 12

by Liberty Parker

I stand alongside her. “Justice doesn’t stand a chance to Ty’s moves,” I tell Jenalyn. “Turn it up, sexy! You got this!” His glossy eyes meet mine and he turns the volume up. As he begins to dance, he turns toward me and motions with his finger for me to come to him. He places both hands on the back of his head and to the rhythm of each beat, he thrusts his hips in my direction. Cheers erupt and I fan myself, further encouraging him.

“Show ‘em, Paine!” Jenalyn roars out over the music.

“You really don’t think my brother can out dance yours now do you?” I taunt Jenalyn trying to distract her in hopes that it will throw Justice off. Hey, this is a team effort and we’re no losers.

Her eyes sharply turn to mine as I’d intended. “No, no I don’t think he can, I know he can,” she snarkily remarks.

“Hey, baby, look at me!” Justice yells over the music, grabbing all of our attention. “I’m so hot I’m on fire,” he continues as he thrusts his hips in her direction.

Our eyes grow wide at the sight in front of us and before Jenalyn speaks, I wonder for a moment if I’m hallucinating. Is he? Jenalyn’s words reveal I am indeed not hallucinating, and if I am, we both are. “Yeah, you are! Holy shit, Justice!”

“I know! Fuck I’m really working up a sweat here,” he replies.

“Your leg, Justice!” several of us holler out in unison before Hatch tackles my brother to the ground.

Jenalyn and I race to my brother. He really was on fire. Somehow the cuff of his pants had literally caught fire.

Hatch and Justice roll around for a moment and I’m fairly certain Justice is still clueless as to why Hatch is on top of him as he’s trying to fight him off. “Stop, drop and roll!” DJ hollers out. “Fuck, where’s the water hose? Hose ‘em down!”

“I’ll do it!” Ashton hollers out as she runs over to where the hose is connected to the house. “This is a job I don’t mind doing.”

“Anyone else getting turned on by this? No, just me?” Sidney asks but retracts her question as Vault covers her mouth.

“Woman! What in the hell? That’s enough for you,” he says as he tosses her over his shoulder and stumbles his way back inside.

Sidney can be heard over Vault’s shoulder crying out, “But I’m the in-house doctor. I should check on him.”

“I got it, Sid!” Ashton hollers out as she sprays Hatch and Justice down, all the while giggling, enjoying this a little too much.

“I’m fine,” Justice groans out and Ty’s doubled over laughing, “and almost sober now after that spray down. Fuck that water is cold!”

“Ty!” I snap at him but it does no good as he cannot contain his laughter. “Fine, we’ll discuss this when you’re sober. Your brother was just on fire.”

Ty begins to swivel his hips and thrust his way toward me. “But not like this, huh, blondie.”

I grab the hose from Ashton and give her the okay to turn it back on. As the water shoots out of the hose and onto my man, I begin laughing. “How’s this for putting out your flames?” He’s stunned as the water showers him and he begs me to stop. After a moment, I do. “There, now you’re all on equal playing fields.”

Jenalyn rushes to pull up the pant leg of Justice and begins unlacing his boots. “Ashton, can you...will you help us over here, please?”

“I’m fine, I told you,” Justice argues.

“Yeah, yeah, but let us have a look,” she tells him.

Ashton comes over and as we all hover around, she takes a good look at my brother’s leg. “There’s not a scratch on his skin. His boots however are a little charred. Dr. Ashton is prescribing a new pair of jeans for the patient. Do you want a lollipop, Justice? You were such a good boy.”

“No, I want this grizzly bear that was trying to make out with me to go far, far away.” He eyes Hatch and I bat Jenalyn letting her know to get him and his mouth under control.

“Calm down. He wasn’t trying to lock lips with you, for fuck’s sake. He was trying to save your life,” Jenalyn snaps at him.

Justice stands. “Well, I’m fine as you can clearly see.” He attempts to brush his watered down self off.

“I think we’ve had enough fun for the night. It’s time to get you to bed, big guy,” Jenalyn says, babying my brother. “Come on, baby,” she tells him as she places her hand on his lower back, ushering him inside.

“Sounds like a plan, I’m not as young as I used to be,” Wasp announces. “You ready to head to our room, baby?” The way he looks at Ashton after all of these years is soul touching.

“Lead the way,” she responds to him. “Night everyone.” She waves over her shoulder as she and Wasp head into the resort.

“Night, y’all,” Chief says before he scoops a sleeping Trinity into his arms. I see him lean down and gently kiss her and my heart melts a bit at seeing an obviously tough guy be so gentle with his woman. Of course, all of the men here are like that and that’s something that makes my slightly tipsy heart happy.

“What time do we have to leave tomorrow?” Braxton questions, his arm around Cara’s shoulders.

“No clue, but who the fuck cares? We’ll wake up when we wake up and leave when we fucking leave,” Hatch states as he walks by, DJ over his shoulder grinning and waving at everyone.

“We’re calling it a night as well,” Tic states as he laces his fingers with Kori’s and tugs her from her seat. “See y’all in the a.m.” One by one everyone picks up their loved one and carts them off to the privacy of their rooms.

“Night everyone,” I tell them. “I think it’s time we take this little party of ours inside, too,” I say to Ty.

“You got any more of those purple rabbits?” he asks me through slurred speech.

I pat his drenched, naked chest. “Let’s just get you to the room and start there, huh?” He smiles at me and we make our way inside. As we walk through the doors, I’m reminded of my earlier rhetorical question and giggle inside. I mean, testosterone, booze and bikers, what could go wrong? Well, it seems we’ve answered that question.

  Epilogue

  Ashton

We’ve been home for two weeks now, and I miss my merry band of women. That time away with them is something I will always hold dear and keep forever ingrained in my heart and soul for the rest of my life. I’ve spoken to each woman and touched base with them all at least once a week.

The Old ladies Club forum is still going strong. We have met a few new groups of women, all strong and enjoyable to connect with. They plan on meeting each other and have planned a get together at an upcoming biker rally in the year 2021.

The old ladies from the Northern Grizzlies MC, Crossroad Soldiers, Twisted Iron and Poseidon Warriors have seemed to form the same closeness and bond that we did with Wild Kings, Rebel Guardians and Soul Shifterz.

Our men it seems have forged an alliance of sorts. I know that I will never lose touch with my new friends and family. If nothing else, we’ll visit each other from time to time.

We’ve all talked and decided that the gathering the other group of ladies have planned is one we intend on sitting out of. Not that we don’t want to get to know our new friends in person, but we want to cherish the time that is ours. It’s a memory that’s irreplaceable. Until next time we all meet.

Ride with the wind in your hair.

  Keep the pavement beneath you.

Sunny side up at all times.

But live! Live your life and have no regrets.
