Spear said, “Damn, what happened?”
The woman looked at Spear in a sensual ways and said, “Not all females are as helpless as you would like to think.” Spear said, “Well Damn, you did this, gorgeous and can take care of yourself. I think I’m in love. What’s your name, gorgeous?”
She alluringly said, “You can call me Shioreta.” Then she walked up to Spear and said, “How do I thank you for coming to my rescue?”
Spear replied, “I didn’t really do anything, but I’ll take the reward.” Shioreta leaned in to give Spear a kiss while she pulled a needle from her jacket. She tried to stick it in Spear’s neck, but he grabbed her wrist with the needle in it and said, “My mom warned me about crazy chicks like you.”
She dropped the needle and pushed Spear away. She then said, “I was trying to do it the easy way, but it looks like we’re going to have to do it the hard way, which is fine with me. I like getting dirty.”
Spear pointed at her and replied, “OK, you’re a freak.” Out of nowhere two men appeared behind him. Spear looked at the men then looked at the woman and said, “Whoa, I don’t know what you heard, but I don’t get down like that.”
Shioreta threw off her coat, revealing a very sexy outfit with armor. The other two men did the same, revealing armor on themselves.
Spear mumbled to himself, “When you think you’ve seen everything, this happens.” He quickly threw down a smoke bomb instantly filling the alley with smoke. He then jumped up to the roof of the building but was surprised to see the three jumping out of the smoke along with him. He landed on the roof and said, “OK, you got my attention. Who are you and why are you coming after me?”
Kirei stepped forward and said, “I’m sorry, let us introduce ourselves.I’m Kirei, that beautiful woman over there is Shioreta, and the big guy over there is Yaban. Together we’re the Trinity Masters.”
Spear said, “That still doesn’t explain why you’re after me. And why you look like you just came out of a Party City three for one costume special.”
Kirei said, “I find it hard to believe someone as crude as you is the one that took out the old man. Normally, we don’t introduce ourselves, but I figured we’d make an exception for the man that killed our former master.”
Spear said , “Killed your former master? Wait, what are you talking about? The only old man I’ve run into is... Wait! Do you mean Chen Lou? The old man is dead?! Who told you this?! That Mr. Platinum guy? You gotta hear me out. The man is lying to you. I didn’t kill your master.”
Kirei said, “You misunderstand. We were hired to take you out or bring you in, either way we’re getting paid a lot for your head.”
Spear said, “That doesn’t sound like something one of Chen Lou’s pupils would say.”
Kirei said, “Shut up, enough talking, you die tonight! Shioreta, Yaban, attack!”
Spear pulled out his rods and said, “If that’s the way you want it, I ain’t holdin’ back.” Shioreta pulled out her katana and attacked Spear; he blocked it with one rod. Kirei came from the other side and attacked with his two swords. Spear blocked with his two rods and did a backflip, but before he landed, Yaban came from the front with his large twin rods and, with an X motion, hit Spear’s weapons, sending him flying back onto another roof. Spear rolled back to his feet and went into his fighting stance to watch for the next attack. He then saw the woman and went after her, figuring to take out the weakest one first. When Spear went to attack, Yaban appeared before him and swung his two rods in a batting motion, once again sending Spear flying back. Kirei used this chance to try and cut Spear in half. Spear flipped back and landed on Kirei’s blades, then backflipped off the blades, landing on the edge of the roof.
Spear thought to himself, “This might be harder than I thought.” He then spun the two rods in his hands and went on the attack. He swung one rod at Kirei, but it’s blocked. He dodged Kirei’s attack that was followed up by Yaban’s attack from behind. Spear ducked and rolled to the side onto his back. Shioreta came down from above with her katana aimed straight at Spear’s head. Spear put one of his rods up, catching the katana blade tip in the end. He then kicked her away from him, rolled to his feet, and stepped back.
Kirei yelled, “Shioreta, are you OK!”
Shioreta yelled back, “I’m fine! Worry about yourself!”
Yaban jumped up in the air and yelled, “You hit Shioreta.” He then came down with full force. Spear knew he couldn’t block that attack, so he jumped out of the way. The strike broke the roof, and the roof they’re on started to fall through. Spear ran and jumped over to the park nearby. The other three followed after him. Spear made a run for it, but they surrounded him. Spear snapped his rods together into a bow staff.
Spear looks to his left, then right, then straight ahead and says, “I take it we’re past the point of maybe trying to talk this out, right?”
Kirei said, “You have no idea what you’re in for. Trinity, let’s go.”
Shioreta interrupted Kirei and yelled, “Wait! We rarely find someone at his level. Let me fight him alone.”
Kirei said, “Shi, this isn’t how we do things. We work as a team. That’s why we never fail.” Shioreta said, “I know, but don’t you want to see how you measure up against the man that went toe to toe against Sensei Chen Lou? Let me do this.”
Kirei said, “All right, do as you want. I’ll give you five minutes, just don’t cut him up too much. We still want his face recognizable when we bring him back.”
Shioreta took out a chain with a flower-shaped blade at the end and said, “I’ll try not to make it too messy,” as she licked the blade. She started swirling the blade around in a circular motion with her left hand, faster and faster while holding on to the hilt with her right. When she let go of the blade, it shot toward Spear. Spear said, “Please,” and stepped to the side. Shioreta tugged on the hilt that sent the blade back toward Spear’s back. Spear stabbed the staff in the ground and jumped up to avoid the blade. To show off, Spear went to a one-handstand holding the top of his staff while the blade and chain wrapped around it.
When the blade stopped, Spear dropped down and said, “Cool weapon, too bad you can’t use it anymore.” Shioreta said, “So you think,” and tugged on the hilt again, which made the blade start to unwrap from around the staff and retract. The blade nearly sliced off Spear’s face, but he dodged in the nick of time.
When the blade got back to her hand, Spear said, “Cool trick, How'd you do that?” She said, “How about I show you up close and personal,” then ran straight at Spear, swirling her chain. They went into a fight sequence that looked like a well-choreographed ballet. Spear dodged all the attacks while spinning between the swirling paths of the bladed chain. She then began to use the bladed chain along with the katana they were attached to. Spear backflipped out of the way while at the same time taking his staff and turning it into the two rods. He then stood back and put the two rods together and twisted them, turning them into nunchucks. He needed speed to take on this girl. He ran at her spinning his nunchucks in his hands. He boulder-rolled toward her and jumped up in the air at her. She threw the blade and chain at him, but he knocked it away with one of the nunchuck to get close. He got through and swung down with a nunchucks, but she blocked the attack with her katana, making the nunchuck wrap around it.
She said, “What kind of man are you, attacking a woman like that?”
Spear said, “Hey, equal rights mean equal butt whippin’s. Don’t think because you’re a woman I won't put you down.” She said, “Mmmmm, you’re an aggressive one. Too bad we have to kill you. You’re kinda cute.”
Spear said, “Hey, tell your friend over there we’re taking a twohour break and I'm down.”
She said, “Sorry, I make a rule to not mix business with pleasure, but I’m sure it would be fun.”
Spear replied, “Lady, you have no idea.” She smiled then kicked Spear away. They ran at each other to continue the fight when Yaban slammed his rods down betwee
n them. They both jumped back and Shioreta yelled, “What are you doing interrupting my fun!? I’m not finished yet.”
Kirei said, “Yes, you are. Your five minutes are up, and you haven’t even put a scratch on him. Give Yaban a turn, he wants to give it a try.”
Shioreta said, “Hmm, and just when it was getting to be fun. Well, anyways, Yaban, have fun.” She then said, “Later handsome,” and blew a kiss toward Spear, which seemed to infuriate Yaban.
Spear distracted by Shioreta’s sexual allure is blindsided when Yaban rushes at him and outward-swings his two rods at Spear. Spear snapped his nunchaku into rods a split second before impact, but was sent flying into the stump of a large tree from the impact.
Spear dropped to the ground, shook his head and said, “Someone get the license plate of the truck that hit me?” When he looked up, he saw Yaban coming down from above with the two rods raised ready to crush Spear. Spear dodged out of the way at the last second. The tree was split in two down the middle. Spear rolled to his feet and said, “Someone been eating their Wheaties.”
Spear realized that his rods against Yaban’s rods were no match, so he snapped them together into the bow staff. Spear ran at Yaban full force, spun, and swung his staff at him like a baseball bat. Yaban put up one rod in front of him, stopping the instantly. He then hit Spear in the chest with the other rod sending Spear rolling backward. Spear stopped himself by stabbing the ground with the staff. He pulled himself up from the ground and saw Yaban coming straight at him like a rhino. He thought to himself, “Man! Does this guy ever give up?”
When Yaban got up to Spear, he started swinging the rods wildly. Spear dodged all the attacks and started thinking, “Man, how is this guy this fast? He’s keeping up with me. And it’s like his rods have a power boost in them.” Spear then remembered the fight with Crank. He remembered how he took him down using judo moves. Even though he was using a weapon now, he figured he could still use the same principle in this fight. He went on to dodge the attacks, and when Yaban did a strong attack, Spear spun out the way and used his staff to knock down Yaban’s rods using Yaban’s own momentum to throw him off balance. Spear repeated this technique over and over until Yaban grew fatigued.
Kirei yelled, “You have 60 seconds, Yaban.” Yaban and Spear were both breathing hard. Yaban stepped back and stood straight up. He then, with a rod in each hand, place them in front of himself horizontally.
Spear with a questioning look on his face yelled, “What are you doing?”
Shioreta replies, “Uh oh, It looks like Yaban is getting serious now.”
Spear replied, “Getting serious now? Then what was he doing before? Slouching it.” Yaban slowly turned the two rods in a counterclockwise motion until one rod was facing up and the other rod was facing down. He slams the two ends together turning the rods into a monsterous jousting staff. He then goes into a fighting stance. Spear smiles while looking at the massive weapon.
Yaban yells, “Why are you smiling, have you accepted your death?”
Spear said, “No, just your weapon reminds me so much like the weapons they use in American Gladiators.” Yaban lunged at Spear. Spear thought to himself, “OK, his weapon is stronger now, but I still can’t change my plan. I gotta use his own momentum against himself to tire him out.” Spear then lunged at him and locked staffs with Yaban but was immediately pushed back by the force of Yaban’s attack. Spear rolled back and kicked Yaban into a tree stump. Yaban got back to his feet quickly and went after Spear. He spun the staff above his head and swung it down with power toward Spear. Spear dodged out of the way as the attack struck the ground throwing up massive amounts of dirt. At the same time he jumps and strikes Yaban in the back with the staff. Yaban swings his staff low to hit his legs, but Spear hits his staff off Yaban’s and does a no hand cartwheel out of the way as he kicks Yaban in the face. Every attack Yaban threw at Spear parried and followed up by an attack to Yaban directly. Spear realized that Yaban’s new weapon was more powerful, but it made him slower and opened him up for more attacks. The fact that he had one massive weapon instead of two more agile ones almost gave Spear an advantage. Yaban was getting furious, but grew slow and sloppy with his attacks. He swung at Spear’s head stumbling as Spear ducked down then swept his legs. He tried to follow up with a pipe to the head to knock Yaban out, but two blades stopped the attack.
Kirei mutter out, “Time’s up, it’s my turn.”
Spear jumped back and said, “You need to get a new watch, I know I had ten seconds left.” Kirei yells, “Silent! You should be honored to be in my presents. You should be even more honored to be killed by my divine blades.” he says while eroticaly rubbing the blades against his cheek.
Spear replies, “OK, it just got weird in here.”
Kirei replies, “Oh dear boy, we are going to have fun. And you will have to pay for what you’ve done.”
Spear replies, “First off, you’re weird. Second, I told you I didn’t kill your master.” Kirei said, “Silly boy, this has nothing to do with him… Well it does, but not in the sense that you think. We would have killed him sooner or later.”
Spear chuckles and says, “I’ve fought him and I can tell you, no, you couldn’t.”
Kirei’s face filled with anger, and he tightened his grip on his swords.
Shioreta calmly says, “Now, now, Kirei, you know what you say about frowning.” Kirei replies, “Frowning is for the de ad, not the beautiful. And you’re right. This uncouth hoodlum’s petty insults shouldn’t bother a fighter of my caliber. Thank you Shi for reminding me of that.”
Spear then says, “Man, I wish I had my own personal cheerleader. Especially one that looks like her.”
Shioreta replies, “Honey, you couldn’t afford me.” Spear replies, “Not even with a Denny’s coupon. I’m sure we can figure something out.”
Shioreta yells, “Do you think I’m some cheap Wh…” Yaban interrupts, “Calm down Shi, Kirei will take care of him.” Kirei said, “Thank you, Yaban. As I was saying, my problem isn't that he was killed, but that he was killed by you. An uncouth, mediocre talent, back alley fighter that isn’t fit to breathe the air of true fighters. Just the sight of your fighting style disgust me. A martial artist is supposed to be beautiful and elegant. You, your clothes are ragged, your style is sloppy, and to be honest, you stink.”
Spear replied, “OK, can I say something.”
Kirei muttered, “If you must.”
Spear replied, “First off I don’t stink, Second you need to get off that high horse you on. A true martial artist ain’t concerned about beautiful styles and techniques. It’s about the passion of the fight. The thrill and discipline of learning a new technique. The love of martial arts and the ability to protect yourself and the ones you care about. That’s what you call a true martial artist.”
Kirei surprised by his answer asked, “Are you done.” Spear replied, “No, my third thing is, if I had a banging chick like that with me all thetime, I wouldn’t be worrying about killing people. I’d be killing something else.” He said while looking at Shioreta provocatively.
Kirei face seemed disgusted, he then replied, “Just as I thought, you are an uncivilized, vagabond, lout, and I will take glorious pleasure in ridding this world of someone the likes of you.
Spear said, “Ok, my last thing is, you talk all high and mighty like you’re better than me, but from the looks of things, I’m winning.”
Kirei smiled and said, “Well, you haven’t fought me one on one.”
Spear replied, “And that makes a difference why, I took all three of you on in the beginning.” Kirei smiled and replied, “Do you really think we were trying to kill you in the beginning.” We were just trying to see if you were worth killing.”
Spear replied, “So am I worth killing.”
Kirei replied, “Yes, but only because I hate looking at that face.” Spear replied, “Wow, so we throwing disses now, Ok, You so ugly, when your mom dropped you off at school she got a fine for litteri
ng. You so dumb, you think Cheerios are doughnut seeds.
Kirei muttered, “Shut up.”
Spear continued, “If ugly were a crime, you'd get a life sentence.” Kirei yelled, “That’s enough! I’ll cut that smug look off your face!” He then lunged forward at Spear and began his barrage of attacks. Spear snapped the staff back into rods to fight with speed. Kirei attacked Spear with grace as if he was dancing. Spear did his best to dodge the attacks, but the two swords moved smoother than his rods. Kirei spun with the blades in his hands with grace and elegance but also with great power. It was like he was dancing while spinning with the blades hand over hand. Spear dodged the attacks the best he could but was kicked in the stomach by him.
Spear rolled back and said, “What is this ballet?! Fight me like a man! or woman.” as he looks at Shioreta. “No offence.” Kirei disregarded what Spear says and continued to go after him with attacks. Spear blocked the attacks and tried to counterattack, but Kirei Pirouette out of the way. Kirei then runs and does a Grande Jeté(a big jump from one foot to the other) into a back kick sending Spear flying back once again. Spear quickly gets up and runs at Kirei but he does a Plié(bent, bending
- of the knee or knees) and jumps over Spear. He follows up with Allegro( fast and dynamic movements) and manages to graze spear on the arm with his blades.
Spear thought to himself, “ OK, I’m not getting anywhere attacking this guy like this. I gotta switch it up.” He then grins. “If he wants to dance, I’ll dance.” Spear then said, “OK, I give it to you. You got skills. I’ll do it your way. Let’s have a good old fashion West Side Story dance fight.” He then began doing a beatbox with his mouth and started to pop lock.
