Einrich smiled and stood up, “Blessed be! Now get some sleep, you have all received your instructions from the Mother and have a busy time ahead.”

Sasha glanced around the pack. The Mother Goddess might be on their side, but they were farmers and shamans, not trained killers. She took a deep breath in, knowing that if the council mounted an attack, the entire pack, including herself and the twins, would be wiped out within a matter of minutes. She needed to think of some way to protect the pack and the twins.

  Chapter 10 The Sobering Light

Sasha moved into a back bedroom in the main house. The room was small but functional, with a small window overlooking the paddock. She sat down on the single bed and collapsed her heavy head into her hands; she had never experienced anything like that in her life and started doubting whether it was actually real or just some drug-induced hallucination.

Even if it was true, she felt highly unqualified and ill-equipped to guide and protect these two remarkable individuals. She opened the secret compartment of her suitcase and began unpacking the few weapons she had brought with her onto the small little bed. She looked down at the small arsenal she had brought with to wipe out the Blackberg’s wolf pack and couldn’t believe that in just a few days she had done a total 180 and was trying to figure out how to protect the same pack from her handler, mentor and captor, Jim. The thought of crossing Jim and having to take on the entire council sent waves of panic over her. This was a suicide mission, what the hell did they put into her tea? Oh yes, she knew, ayahuasca… Fuck! She rubbed her hand over the back of her neck. She glanced out of the small window overlooking the paddock and let her eyes slowly trail up the mountain in the background; her task seemed unsurmountable.

A knock at the door broke her contemplation, and she glanced over and said, “Come in.”

Tom opened the door, “I know it’s getting late, and you have had a long day.”

Sasha snorted, “That is a bit of an understatement!”

He pulled a bottle of wine from behind his back and smiled, “Thought we could have that talk over a quick drink!” Just then he spotted the arsenal laid out on the bed and went in for a closer look, “Holy shit!! Are you expecting company?”

Sasha pushed the door closed behind Tom and took the bottle of wine, and placed it on the small dresser, “I think we both know more than we have been letting on.”

Tom turned to Sasha, “That’s why I am here…”

Sasha shrugged, “I owe Julia an explanation just as much as I owe you one. I would much prefer to have this conversation with both of you!”

Tom grinned and playfully took a step forward into Sasha’s space, and looked down as he used his large, square frame to corner her in the small room, “I just want to know if I need to be scared of you?”

Sasha took it the wrong way; mistaking his playfulness with seriousness she looked up and pushed him back to give herself space, “Or should I be scared of you?”

Tom eased off and took a step back, “I don’t follow?”

Sasha shook her head and touched her nose mockingly, “I nose somethings too!”

Tom raised his hands, “Okay… Okay…what do you want to know?”

Sasha snapped back, “The truth for once… I feel like you guys have been playing me since I arrived!”

Tom’s playfulness shifted to defense, “No more than you were playing us, but the question is not about who played who… more importantly it’s about why? What were your intentions?” Tom stared into her eyes, “What did you intend doing with all of these weapons?”

Sasha snapped back again, “What I planned to do with them is no longer relevant!”

Tom smiled mockingly and shook his head, “Oh… I should feel be at ease because you have decided to be on our side for the …” he paused to use air quotes; “TIME BEING?”

Sasha shook her head and pointed her finger at him, “You haven’t been honest either… so don’t pretend to be holier than thou!”

Tom shrugged and folded his arms, “The difference is that I did it to protect my family… what’s your excuse?”

Sasha stepped forward and pushed him out of frustration, tears welling up in her eyes, “And you will do anything to protect your family! So, tell me, who is actually at greater risk here? You, surrounded by your pack, or me, isolated from everything!” Sasha wiped the tears from her eyes and stepped back, “I am giving up everything to protect you and your sister and you have the audacity to stand here trying to intimidate me… What the fuck do you want from me?”

Tom stepped forward; he placed his hand underneath Sasha’s chin and gently lifted it to meet his gaze, “I want you! The real you, the one who doesn’t back down, the one who will fight together with her family! I want the one I see you hide and keep protected from the world out there… I want the person I see when I stare into the depths of your soul. The person I can trust with my life and my sister’s.” He pulled her in close and began kissing her passionately.

Sasha felt her knees go weak as she collapsed into his strong arms, and he picked her up and placed her on top of the dresser. She looked him in the eyes, as she pushed his fringe out of his face, “I don’t have the strength to fight you and the rest of the world Tom...you are going to need to trust me.”

Tom took in a deep breath, “No more secrets?”

Sasha smiled and pulled his face towards hers, “No more secrets.”

She reached down and slowly pulled his shirt up and over his head and whispered into his ear, “Make love to me.”

He cleared the bed and gently placed her down on the duvet, and he took off his pants and climbed on top of her already naked body, spreading her legs as he gently lowered his hard, erect cock into her warm, moist vagina, he thrust up and felt her body react… her walls pulling tight against his hard shaft as she held him tight and slowed down its retreat. He thrust up hard again as he stared into her eyes… again the walls of her vagina pulled tight as he moved back. He thrust hard for a third time, this time finding her G-spot, and her fingers dug deep into his back while her back arched in pleasure. He smiled and gently kissed her before thrusting up again, carefully watching her reactions with each successive thrust as he zeroed in his aim, his movements gaining momentum with each successful hit onto her spongy, electrically charged G-spot. Her juice box was dripping, her back arching and her hands now pushing on his buttocks, guiding him in faster and harder as the tension between the two of them grew to climax. With one final thrust he exploded with pleasure against her sensitive g-spot which felt the warm rush of sperm hit… the sensation drove her over the edge, igniting an immediate chain reaction of continuous orgasms as she continued to hold him tight inside her and ride out the waves of convulsing pleasure as her muscles spasmed uncontrollably with wave after wave of pleasure before finally releasing his spent, slippery shaft. Tom collapsed on the small bed and Sasha wrapped her leg over him and fell asleep listening to his heart as it slowly recovered.

The harsh first rays of light lit up her whitewashed walls, the glare unbearable to her sensitive eyes as she gently climbed over Tom and drew the blackout curtain closed. She smiled as she watched him turn onto his side and get comfortable as he fought the sun for just a few more minutes of sleep. Sasha rubbed her hand through her hair and looked around the small little room. Seeing the unopened wine bottle still sitting on the dresser, she reached over and picked it up, and she stared at it for a few seconds, took a deep sobering breath and tossed it into the bin. If they were going to achieve a full Kundalini awakening in such a short time, they would have to make sacrifices – anything that numbed or dulled the senses had to go. She decided that this point would be the turning point in her life and symbolically ripped the curtain back and stood in the sobering light of the new dawn.

Chapter 11 Healing to be Whole

Sasha put notes out for Tom and Julia. They were all embarking on a three-day water fast and were to skip their usual morning routine and head off to the barn instead for a
more detailed breakdown.

Julia walked in, moaning jokingly, “And here I have been telling everyone to trust you and you turn around and slap me with a THREE-DAY water fast… do you know how long that is?”

Tom piped up, “I would hazard a guess and say it’s about 3 days?”

Julia slapped his arm, “Aren’t we full of it this morning?”

Tom raised his eyebrows and smirked, “Maybe I am?”

Sasha cleared her throat and motioned for them to come over to the yoga mats. “It’s my job to prepare you physically, mentally and spiritually for the journey ahead. Over the next month and a half, the two of you are going to experience profound and life altering changes, and in essence the two people sitting here in front of me will no longer exist.” Sasha took Julia’s hands in her own, “You have been gifted with the heavy burden of third sight; it is not an easy life that awaits you, and the Mother Goddess has tasked me with guiding you on that journey… but ultimately it is for you to decide. Do you… the future Great Sharmana… accept me as your humble mentor?”

Julia smiled, pushing herself up onto her haunches and kissing Sasha on the cheek, “I have seen this moment in countless visions, and each time I struggle to come up with a catchy throwback that fully expresses my gratitude to you for taking us on as your fledglings. ”

Sasha smiled and turned to Tom and took his hand in hers, “Tom, you are destined to become a great leader and transcend to the highest level of mortal existence – the first fiveling rebirth in over 1000 years. Do you accept me as your humble mentor?”

Tom copied Julia and kissed Sasha on the cheek, “If my sister’s visions are true then I should be humble to accept you as my tutor. But I don’t have the comfort of third sight and the only thing I have to go on is who you have shown me… It has been a rocky first few days, but I believe that for the first time since you arrived that we are finally seeing the real you - and that is the person I want to mentor me.”

Sasha smiled, “Look, I know it’s going to be tough and we are all going to have to make sacrifices, but it is the only way we can physically, mentally and spiritually prepare you for the journey ahead. The first thing we are going to do is embark on a water fast. We will be doing a lot of energy work and fasting is the best way to purge your body of stored toxins, and together with yoga and meditation, we can release energy blockages and balance our chakras. Once our bodies are perfectly in tune, we can move to the next phase … we need to awaken the Kundalini Serpent. Julia and I are going to have to learn how to control the serpent’s twin flame so that we can re-channel the power surge from Tom’s rebirth.”

Julia smiled, “The three of us have a very unique bond, each one of us representing part of the coiled snake. Tom, the leader… you bring us your strength! Sasha, the mentor… you bring us your wisdom and protection! And finally, I am the seer … I take care of the spirit and guide you with visions.”

Sasha smiled, “Today, I want us to work on dropping our chi to the base chakra were the Kundalini Serpent sits, it will loosen any blockages in our base chakra and will begin our journey as we awaken the serpent within us. Julia, will you please guide us in meditation to drop our chi? I will guide us through the base stimulation to awaken the serpent.”

Julia grimaced, “Not going to be my favorite.” She sat up straight and took a deep breath in “Okay… I want you to close your eyes and take in a deep breath, and feel the air take on the light blue energy of your throat chakra as it makes its way down, taking on the faint green hue as it collects energy from your heart chakra….changing slowly into a bright yellow… watch as the air that’s filled your lungs, forcing your solar plexus out. Hold it there and let it slowly move downward as the air in your stomach and bowels start to equalize, feel it sink down past your kidneys, taking on the distinctive orange hue of your sacral chakra, before finally turning red as it enters the realm of the sacred Kundalini Serpent. Now slowly exhale the air left in your lungs and take another five deep breaths, note how it changes color as it collects the different energies from your chakras as it makes its way down to base chakra … the home of the sacred Kundalini Serpent.”

After five deep breaths, their base chakras were filled with the energized air, Sasha began the rite, “Oh ancient serpent dwelling within, we hail your wisdom and your life-giving force as we embark on the journey to harness your flame. See the three kindred souls, each blessed by the Mother Goddess with the gift to take a variation of your form, Tom, the shy green boomslang, Julia, the forewarning rattle, and myself, the spitting cobra…. We honor you and the Mother Goddess as we begin our journey and ask for your patience and guidance.” Sasha took in another deep breath, “Become the snake.”

Sasha opened her eyes and watched Tom shift on cue; she turned to Julia and sensed her apprehension, so she reached out to her and gently cupped her hand over her groin, moving slowly as she mimicked the movement of a snake. Julia pushed her clit down into Sasha’s hand, her motions mimicking the same methodical movement of the snake, and as she moaned and edged close to climax Sasha whispered in her ear, “Become the snake…”

Julia began transforming into the rattle, her distinctive black diamond markings etched along her back.

Sasha reached behind her back and pulled out a small Tupperware container and carefully opened it; the ten little white mice hit the floor and scrambled in every direction, but the two snakes did not even move. Sasha shook her head… “You need to learn how to use your venom and control the dose you administer… go and hunt…. But do not eat!” Tom sped off in a flash while Julia took a moment longer to compose herself and get used to moving in her new form.

After the hunt they shifted back; Julia still showed a little hesitation toward the serpent form, but Tom seemed to embrace it. All in all, Sasha was very happy with today’s session; they had not only managed to do some energy work, but they had also got to practice shifting and hunting in their third forms.

Chapter 12 Secrets always have a way of slipping out.

The three of them settled in on the porch after a long day’s training.

Tom remarked, “I am so hungry I could eat one of those little mice.”

Julia sat on the porch swing and threw the scatter pillow at him, “Don’t even go there!!”

Sasha laughed; she enjoyed watching the playful interaction of the two siblings, “Come on Tom, that’s mean…don’t be a bully.”

Tom pulled a cute face and stuck his tongue out, “She is the one with psychic abilities, she should know what I am going to say before I even do.”

Julia shook her head, “You know that’s not how it works, Tom.”

Sasha had been curious about her visions and how they worked, “So now that we have no more secrets… tell me how your visions actually work?”

Julia sat forward, “It all depends; some come in an uncontrolled flash, some come during controlled focus. Some visions are crystal clear and others - like Tom’s rebirth - are open-ended.”

Sasha listened intently, her curiosity piqued, “Tell me about Tom’s rebirth… what have you seen?

Julia grimaced, “My visions have been hazy about Tom’s rebirth and we have varying degrees of success; in some visions we fail and the power surge wipes out half of the Eastern Seaboard, while in others we manage to contain it, but not without a fallout of some sort. Tom’s rebirth has become a watershed moment for visions… different possible futures all stemming from that one cataclysmic moment.” Julia sighed, “The current Sharmana is not as close to Tom and her visions are obviously a little clearer than mine; I mean, she wouldn’t have sent you out to kill us if we didn’t have some measure of success in her vision at least.”

Sasha shook her head, “The Great Sharmana’s visions were just as hazy, the council doesn’t even know which one of you will be the first fiveling and there was no mention of anyone replacing the Great Sharmana. They only know that there is a strong connection with Tom.”

Tom frowned and slapped his hand in fr
ustration, “Nothing is set in stone, the future is still ours to decide, visions, no visions …I struggle to believe all this hype about me. I mean I don’t even know what it truly means to be a twoling, let alone a threeling, and the idea of being able to shift into multiple forms at once to create some sort of unique hybrid just sounds insane.”

Sasha burst out laughing, “You are absolutely right, this is all incredibly insane… or it would be if it were not absolutely true. It wasn’t my venom that sent Damien into a coma. It was yours, Tom! Whether you realize it or not you are already able to hybridize and the problem is that the council knows it; the only reason they haven’t stormed the farm is because they need to kill you in the process of transcending to that next level… anything earlier will just give them the body of a three or fourling… but it’s your fiveling blood they want.”

Tom shrugged, “Why don’t they just throw me in a cell and knock me off just before I switch?”

Julia answered, “The other packs will never let them kidnap you and hold you hostage on the off chance you happen to carry a thousand year old recessive fiveling gene; they will need to prove you are a fiveling and state that they had no other choice but to kill you as the power surge threatened to wipe out half the Eastern Seaboard. Even Sasha - her initial role in this was to become your failed mentor, and she would be killed along with our entire pack to cover up the fallout.”

Sasha was shocked, “What? That’s not right… they offered me my freedom.”

Julia sighed sarcastically, “Yeah, ask your mother and Pete how well their freedom turned out.” Julia slapped her hands on her mouth realizing she had said too much again and let out a soft “Sorry!”

Sasha snapped back, “Wait! What do you know about Pete and my Mother?”
