Chapter four
THE MONEY MENTALITY
Show me a very successful man, and I will show a dedicated problem solver. The very successful knows that, with love they offer solutions to the problems facing their callings, it is not money that made them financially wealthy, it is the problems they are willing to solve, take all the money from them, all you have to give them is time, they will get back all the money they had before. So don’t think the more money you have, the more secured you will be. Everything that is on the earth belongs to God, and God is the master of solutions to every problem on earth, if you don’t have God first in your life, get all the wealth in the world, it will only lead you to heart attacks, stress, strokes, emotional pain, heart cancer, high blood pressure, and eventually your death.
There was a farmer that had a great harvest from his farm, he told his servants to build the biggest ban to store his harvest, he then told his soul, to rest that he has gotten all he ever needed, he has arrived; he is fulfilled. But God told him, you fool today your soul will be required of thee. That was how he died. If you want a successful relationship, God is all you need. He owns the life you think you can secure with your money.
So Adams knew from the unset that Tari got attracted to him because of his money,
Yes! And among his girl friends Tari was the one with a reputable job. Tari never saw that he was using her, since she always got all she wanted from him.
Didn’t Kelvin try to convince her on her new choice?
Yes, he did and tried all he could, he loves her so much, all what he did to convince her never worked out, it wasn’t his choice only that can make the relationship work, the two must agree to build a successful relationship and they must be willing to fight together anything that want them to fail. Tari has made her choice, and what Kelvin had then was not what Tari wanted. The only thing Kelvin could offer her then was his big heart of love and spiritual support.
So it was because Adam was from a rich family that Tari agreed to marry him.
Yes, Adams was from the wealthy class, and Tari saw that as an opportunity to be financially secure and as long as she has that, she can get everything. It wasn’t because she truly loves him, and that was the foundation she builds her relationship on.
Adams, have been in the ladies game right from his teen, he know every sweet words, that can turn on a poverty conscious lady off her feet, all what they saw is his affluence, the one that rub on him from his class.
Three month into their relationship, Adams proposed to Tari. I knew this day will come, because I know the end from the beginning, and I told Tari, I still love her and I care for her so much, because she has received and acknowledged me, I told her the fear of the Lord is all your need from a man to get all your need met. I have instructed the man to love you as I have love the church, and I sacrifice myself for it, no matter how he takes care of you now, if God is not the priority in his life, he will never love you, as I love the church. Please, “don’t make love blind for lust to see”? She told me it was her choice to make.
As you will know the marriage took place, it was the talk of the town for that month, the “who is who” in the business caucus all attended, with lots of gifts. She has gotten all that she wanted; wealth, affluence, cars, a beautiful home, rich neighbours, and financially secure as you called it.
A year after her wedding, due to the economic meltdown, in the country, her company was affected, they have to downside their work force, and Tari was affected, but it didn’t bother her, she has money and her husband is rich.
It was during this period that she realized that Adams wasn’t who she thought he was, he has other ladies in his life, and he spends most of his time with them, it became so glaring during the period of her pregnancy, she couldn’t help it anymore, she was frustrated, lonely, and became aggressive, that started the nagging, but to Adams, he has given Tari all she ever wanted; money and fame.
So, before you go over to her place, this was how it all started. The day she forgot the meaning of her name, Tarilayeta; meaning ‘love is the greatest’ and decided to make “love blind for lust to see”.
THE CHOICES WE MAKE DETERMINES THE SITUATION WE FIND OURSELVES and our willingness to overcome that situation lie in the knowledge you have of your God.
‘For God so loved the world; that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life’. John 3:16
Tari this is just the beginning, you haven’t seen nothing yet.
