Trez whistled. “Look at her run. Can you believe it took her this long to realize Joobee’s got the hots for her?”
It had seemed rather apparent.
“You think she’ll accept?” I asked.
“Oh, definitely. She’s gagging for a taste of man.”
“Mind your language,” Faris complained.
“Hey, it’s not my fault your mentor’s hungry for a taste of the D. I ain’t the one who’s been bragging to her about my man at every chance I get.”
This time, it was Faris’s turn to blush.
Usually, I couldn’t help smiling when Faris turned all cute, but my eyes couldn’t help wandering toward the window.
“Is something wrong, stud?” Vay asked.
“Just thinking,” I replied. “It seems we’re the only ones left without any sort of plan…”
Vay laughed. “Maybe you! I know exactly what I’m going to do.”
I spun around and stared. “Seriously?”
“Of course! I’ve got a championship to win.”
“That’s… not exactly what I meant.” And far from the first time I’d heard that claim.
She hooked an arm around my shoulder. “Don’t worry, stud. I’m only fooling; I know exactly what you mean. Lancer and his goons won’t be too happy if we overstay our welcome. However, that shouldn’t be an issue. Remember, I’ve got a flat we can share. It might be a little small once we all get inside, but a castle is a castle.”
“No, it ain’t,” Trez said, interjecting herself into our chat. “I know you; there’s no way you don’t live in a dump. It’s probably a pigsty with some dumbbells in the corner.”
“How dare you… I have plenty of barbells too.”
“See! If you think I negotiated my tails off to move into some shitty apartment, you’ve got another thing coming. I mean, we’ve got serious dosh now. Like, mega dosh. And with my criminal record now clean, there’s nothing we can’t do. I ain’t putting that to waste.”
“But how?” I said as I stared at the daunting choice lingering outside the window.
Trez pulled me back out of my trance by slapping my arm. “Don’t worry about it. None of us are expecting a poor uncivilized soul like you to help with this.” She grinned. “You’ve done enough; leave this to your top bitch. Don’t forget, I’ve been dreaming of escaping from Free Bevis ever since I was old enough to climb. You think I haven’t got a list as long as your dick of places I’d love to make home?”
Vay laughed. “That must be quite the list.”
“Oh, it is… and almost as satisfying.”
I couldn’t help smirking. “If you insist, I’ll leave it to you. After all, I’m not a hard guy to please. I don’t care if we settle somewhere hot, cold, dry, wet, or filled with monsters. As long as I’m with you girls, I’ll be happy.”
For a moment, Trez appeared taken aback before she bit her bottom lip and growled. “You smooth bastard… just you wait! I’m gonna find us the best home you’ve ever seen.”
Vay guffawed. “Allow me to help, little one.”
“Pff, no thanks. This is my chance to establish myself as Brandon’s definitive number one.”
“Oh… so you’re saying it’s a contest? Challenge accepted!”
“What?! No! Vay, get back here!” Trez groaned as Vay ignored her and rushed off. She facepalmed and plodded after her. “Dammit. What did I do to deserve this?”
I watched them leave in silence alongside Faris.
“This will work out okay, right?” I asked her.
“I hope so,” Faris said.
All I could do was wait and pray. However, I had faith in my girls. They’d never let me down, and I didn’t expect that to change just because we’d escaped The Fractured World.
Our lives were starting to shift, but I knew we would more than persevere.
I’d make sure of it.
Chapter 32
I fell back onto my bed and came within a whisker of passing out right there and then.
It had happened every time I’d lain down since arriving on this ship. For all the comfort my furs used to give me, my bed blew them away.
Was civilized living just that much better than slumming it like a savage, or had sleeping technology advanced to a point my yokel brain could hardly comprehend? It was hard to say.
Either way, I couldn’t sleep yet.
The APK had given everyone their own private room to use as they wished during the duration of their stay. It was a kind gesture, yet it wasn’t one I could fully appreciate. After all, I’d become rather spoiled during my time on The Fractured World.
I was no longer used to sleeping alone.
My doorbell buzzed.
“Come in,” I said while pressing the release button next to the bed.
The front door swung open, and in walked the women I’d been waiting for: the most bewitching women in the universe.
“My Brandon!” Casella said as she rushed inside and jumped on top of me.
I laughed as I was pinned down by my wonderful zerrin mate. “Hey, beautiful.”
Faris cleared her throat.
“Sorry,” I said with a snicker. “Beautifuls.”
Sylvetty puffed out her chest. “That’s better!”
“I presume you’ve been expecting us,” Trez said while grinning like a Cheshire Cat.
“Of course,” I replied. “After what we’ve been through, it wouldn’t feel right sleeping in a bed without you all by my side.”
Of course, concepts such as night and day were missing from open space, but that didn’t stop exhaustion from accumulating. Sometimes, you couldn’t help but hit the hay.
Vay laughed. “I agree. Who would ever choose an empty bed when they can shack up with a hot hunk? My comrades are always complaining that their boy toys sneak in to snuggle during the night.”
“They complain?!” Akko exclaimed.
“Of course! They have reputations to keep.”
“How silly,” Casella said as she lounged on top of me, nuzzing into my jaw. “One should never feel ashamed of wanting to spend their nights with one they love, yes?” Her sparkling yellow eyes compelled me to agree.
I laughed and rubbed her lower back. “Well, you’re not going to hear any complaints from me. The more the merrier!”
“Yeah… no,” Trez said as she threw herself next to me. “This amount is merry enough for my liking, thank you very much.”
It was hard to argue. Some guys dreamed of the day they could have a girl of their own.
I had six of them.
I’m sure there’s plenty of men out there who will never forgive me for this.
Not that I was going to get bent out of shape because of a little external jealousy.
Faris was next to fall back onto the luxury bed built big enough to accommodate races much larger than mine.
That meant there was plenty of room for the lot of us.
“We really did it,” Faris said while staring at the ceiling.
“Huh?” I replied.
“Why are ya acting like that’s anything new?” Sylvetty said as she hopped onto the mattress. “We’ve been here for days.”
“I know that,” Faris snapped. “It’s still… every night, I worry I’ll wake up to discover this is a dream. I’ll open my eyes and find we’re still trapped there… or worse.”
“So I’m not the only one?” Akko said as she crawled her way into the slumber party.
Casella gasped. “You too?”
“I’m not going to lie,” I said, “I’ve worried this might all turn out to be some powerful hallucination more than once. I’m still waiting to snap out of it and wake up stuck in a cave surrounded by snow.”
I did remember hearing hypothermia could cause delusions…
“Why so dramatic, my stud?” Vay asked as she jumped onto the bed and almost propelled the rest of us off. “Like you could’ve dreamed up someone like me.”
“I know. This is really happening. You’re a
ll really here.” I squeezed Casella, her warmth and softness a treasure my feeble mind couldn’t hope to replicate. “From now on, we can do anything and go anywhere. There’s no wicked scheme or jamming field to hold us back.”
Casella giggled. “It’s exciting, yes? Now there’s nothing getting in the way of us starting a family.”
I tensed up and stared at her.
She smiled back. “You were worried about having children in such a place, yes? Which means that now we’re free, we can start planning for a baby of our own.”
I mumbled, words not coming.
“Damn, she went in hard,” Sylvetty said.
Vay laughed. “So the little one is hungry for a baby?”
Casella giggled. “I want to make up for lost time. It seems so awfully unfair that only Trez gets to have one, yes?”
“Oi, don’t drag me into this,” Trez complained. “It’s not like I asked to get seeded.”
“But it happened,” Faris said.
“And you seem awfully pleased about it,” Akko added.
Trez threw her arms over her stomach. “Aw, shut it. Clearly it’s a sign me and Brandon were meant to be together.”
“Hey, don’t tease,” I said, well aware of the possible carnage Trez’s stirring could bring about. “We still don’t have any clue why Trez was able to have my child, but it’s definitely not because I care about her more than any of you. You’re all special to me—more so than anything else in the universe.”
“Sweetie,” Akko purred under her breath.
I looked Casella straight in the eye. “And if you want me to prove it, if you want me to help you catch up with Trez…” My hands shifted, grabbing her behind. “That can be arranged.”
Casella moaned.
My hands didn’t stop. They massaged, making sure she could feel my hungry touch. “I can’t promise I’ll be the best dad in the world, but I’d be lying if I said the thought of having children with those I love didn’t excite the pants of me.” A certain stiffness seconded as such as it ached to escape its cloth prison.
A warm glow spread across Casella’s cheeks as she nibbled her plump bottom lip. “Oh, Brandon…” She leaned in, preparing to kiss m—
“Erm,” Akko said while raising a hand. “I’m just checking, but you do know we’ll still need to have the fertility surgery before you can do… that to us, right?”
Casella and I froze, lips inches apart, eyes locked on Akko.
“It… did slip my mind for a second, yes,” I admitted, hands still locked to Casella’s derrière.
“Mine too,” Casella said with a small giggle. “But it’s fine, yes? I mean, even if it’s impossible, that’s no reason not to try.” She shook her hips from side to side in a way that was slow, calculating, and seriously seductive.
Her eyes told me exactly what she wanted.
And I was happy to give. I pressed our lips together, locking us into an amorous exchange too indecent for a public venue.
The APK had told me to make myself at home…
As always, it was an act that got my body burning and ready for so much more. I’d been hard to begin with, but melding tongues with Casella left my manhood begging for us to take it one step further.
I didn’t feel like denying it.
When Casella’s breathing turned unsteady, I drew back and pulled a hand toward my—
“Oi!” Sylvetty said as she tugged on my arm. She wore a certain ‘look’, complemented with a delicious pink glow “Ya cannae just concentrate on Casella. Me ma said she was expecting some grandkids… and so am I!”
“Is that right?” I replied before jerking my arm, pulling her close, and giving her a kiss of her own.
A kiss reserved for mates.
By the time I was done, her pink hue had turned to a burning flame red.
I grinned and let my eyes wander. “So who else is planning on complaining if I don’t give them some immediate attention?”
My girls looked between each other… before bursting forward.
“I am!” Vay said.
“And me!” Faris said.
“M-me too,” Akko said while crawling closer.
“Are you sure?” Vay asked. “I thought it was pointless to even try without your precious surgery?”
Akko flinched. “I-I never said that!”
“Oh, no,” Trez said as she pushed herself to the front of the line. “No, no, no. I ain’t having you all acting like this is some cultist breeding orgy. Where am I supposed to fit into that? Just because I’m already up the duff I’m expected to sit on the sidelines? Never! I ain’t letting you deny me with your… pregcist attitudes.”
“Preg… cist?”
“You heard me! The knocked-up need love too. Lots of love! If anything, we need more—”
I silenced Trez with a kiss before she could pour oil onto a building flame.
Didn’t she realize it was hot enough in here?
Once I’d finished stealing Trez’s breath, I moved onto Faris, then Akko, before finishing off with a tongue-clashing battle of dominance with Vay.
A battle I won, of course.
“Let’s not pretend this is anything more than it is, or anything different than usual,” I said to my glowing girls once I got a chance to speak. “We’re just a group of deviants looking to have some fun.” At last, I pulled on my pants and gave my stiffness the freedom it sought. “Lots of fun.”
Trez licked her lips. “Now that I can get behind. So if you’ll excuse me, I’m just gonna…” She reached her hands forward.
Before they reached, Casella grabbed me from behind and pulled me flat onto the bed. She threw her hips over me, pinning me down with her naked form—a welcome surprise.
“Me first,” she said as she sunk her weight against my firm muscles.
“Says who?” Faris replied.
Casella glanced back at her. “I seduced him first. It’s only fair, yes?”
“Would that mean I get to go second?” Sylvetty asked.
“Which would make me third?” Trez said. “Not bad…”
“Wait… that would make me last!” Vay said.
Trez shrugged. “Eh. You win some, you lose some.”
Vay growled. “You did not just say that…”
I groaned. “For Pete’s sake, are you girls seriously squabbling again? Will you never learn?” As quick as I could, I flipped Casella onto her back with me on top. And then, with one swift movement, I joined us together.
Her look of surprise was shattered and replaced with an expression born to seduce men.
“I take having you as my mates seriously. That means keeping you safe, keeping you happy, and keeping you satisfied.” As I spoke, my hips sped up and up and up and put to test the quality of the bed I’d been given.
Casella filled my room with her moans. Her body trembled, hands grabbing at the sheets as she searched for something firm to help keep her steady, in more ways than one.
She didn’t find it; the others didn’t jump in to help. They watched as I gave Casella what she craved.
What they all craved.
I wasn’t screwing around. Often, I did my best to withstrain the wildness lurking inside of me, but not today. From the start, I asked my inner beast for help.
According to the way Casella shuddered and squealed my name, I’d made the right call.
“Do I ever not do my duties as your mate?” I asked them all, even though my eyes were glued to the gorgeous enchantress I was driving crazy. “Do I ever let you go without the pleasure… you… seek?”
At last, my hips came to a stop. I pushed my weight down on Casella, pinning her to the bed. My excitement was overflowing, and I knew she didn’t want to go without.
I knew she wanted to feel me in my entirety.
Casella’s limbs confirmed as much. They clung to me as we were both overwhelmed with euphoria, before falling limp after she’d come down from her blissful crescendo.
When, and only when, I was happy I’d
performed my duties, I pulled away from Casella and turned toward Sylvetty.
“Well?” I asked, body still raring to go.
My words seemingly knocked her out of a daze. Sylvetty sputtered, making plenty of cute noises but nothing that could be called a serious answer.
That was fine with me; I just had to remind her.
I silenced her with a kiss as I pulled her into my arms, thighs around my waist. With one hand, I held her steady. The other stripped her lower garments, revealing how much she needed my attention.
Which of course, I gave.
Sylvetty squeaked out a precious moan as she squeezed hold of me.
It was okay; I was never going to drop her. She was safe in my hands. Sure, I was currently a beast, but even they didn’t hurt their loved ones.
For those close to me, ecstasy awaited.
Every stir of my hips summoned up her blissful cries and pleasure-tainted chants. Over and over, she groaned my name into my neck while her nails clawed my back.
I enjoyed the pain. Every time she stabbed on instinct was a declaration of a job well done—a sign I’d taken my mate to paradise.
And there was no shortage of jabbing.
She assaulted my back with such gusto it was a minor miracle I didn’t bleed—not that such a thing would have stopped me. I was a man on a mission, and I wasn’t going to pause until I’d lived up to my duty as a mate.
As a man.
How many times did I drive Sylvetty over the edge by the time she pushed me over my limit? I didn’t know; it didn’t matter. What was important was whether or not she was satisfied.
I’d always heard about girls faking, but there was nothing fraudulent about Sylvetty’s guise.
Something so primal couldn’t be feigned.
I placed Sylvetty onto the bed, alongside Casella, so the two of them could rest. Then, without so much as wiping the sweat from my brow, I turned around. “Who’s next? Trez?”
She twitched out of the spell that was still binding the others, although her heavy eyelids and volcanic blush was there to stay. “Erm… uh huh?”
