Our lips parted slightly so that he could slip his tongue inside and explore every inch of my mouth. His taste was intoxicating and strong. I tried to dominate the kiss, but every time he would overpower me and maintain control. I shifted my arms, preparing to wrap them around his neck, but suddenly, his body was gone, and so was his support.

My eyes opened as I fell through the air, a loud yelp coming out of my mouth as my limbs flailed. I took a deep breath in preparation for what was coming. Then my body crash landed into the pool, the water surrounding me, feeling cold as ice and chilling my bones. My body propelled to the bottom of the pool for a moment until I kicked my feet and sent myself up to the surface. I wiped the water from my face, shaking my hair back. When I finally opened my eyes, the first thing I saw was Damien standing on the side of the pool, smirking widely.

“How’s the water feel?” he questioned. He leaned down to the edge and put his hand in the water. “Whoa, it’s freezing.”

I gritted my teeth as they began to chatter. Raising my hands out of the water, I flicked him off with both of my middle fingers.

“Ouch, that was harsh,” he called.

I rolled my eyes. “Get in!” Now that I was in the pool and treading water, I realized that the water wasn’t so cold. I just needed to adjust to it and then it was fine. It helped that it was hot outside too, despite how late at night it was.

  “I’m coming, I’m coming.”

“Hurry up,” I ordered, going under and swimming toward the edge of the pool where I emerged, holding onto the edge.

“Make me,” he spoke, still standing on the edge.

I smiled up at him. “If I was strong enough to hold you, I’d throw you in, but I’m not.”

“So then give me a reason to get in,” he countered, raising an eyebrow suggestively.

I knew exactly what he was implying. I smirked as I let go of the edge and removed my panties. I tossed them over the edge of the pool at Damien, who bit his lips as he looked at them. Then I unhooked my bra and did the same. I stuck my tongue out at Damien again, using the edge of the pool as a shield.

  “Now get in,” I ordered.

“What’s stopping me from pulling you out of the water and taking you on that pool chair right there?”

“This,” I cooed as I went up onto my back and backstroked away from him until I was in the center of the pool.

At the sight of my body floating at the top of the water, the bulge in Damien’s boxers grew noticeably larger and his eyes widened. Stripping out of his boxers quickly, he gave me a full frontal view of how well-endowed he was just before he smoothly dove into the pool. He cut through the water gracefully until he came up beside me and pulled my body to his.

“Glad to see you made the leap,” I said as I wrapped my arms around his neck.

“There was a prize that I couldn’t wait to get my hands on,” he moaned as he stroked my naked skin, sending shivers up my spine with each touch.

“Oh, so I’m a prize now? Something you can win?” I asked feigning a hurt tone as I saw the darkness in Damien’s eyes vanish momentarily and I could see the intense emotion from our kiss re-enter them. There was a knot in my stomach as I got lost in the sheer emotion that was shown in his eyes; it made my heart melt and sent butterflies fluttering from my stomach to my heart.

“You’re more than a prize to me, but you are mine,” he growled as lust overflowed from his voice.

“Then why don’t you claim it?” I teased, giving him a quick kiss on the lips before pulling back and swimming to the side of the pool.

“Are you going to let me this time or run away again?” he asked as he swam after me and grabbed my body, moving my legs around his waist so that I could feel his hard length pressing into the sensitive parts between my legs.

“I don’t know, why don’t you try and find out?” I tempted as I pressed my lips to his and felt him immediately deepen the kiss. He didn’t even ask for entrance as his tongue slipped inside my mouth, tangling with mine in the sweet agony of the moment. I wanted more; correction, I needed more of him.

I breathed deeply as his hands gripped my thighs, holding me against the cold, tiled wall. My hands tangled into his dark hair as I let out a soft moan while his hard-on pressed against me again. I could feel the desire flowing through me as we got more involved with the kiss. This wasn’t something that I had ever felt with Austin, there was more than just a carnal need. There was lust and desire tangled into it as my body wanted to have Damien inside of me. I wanted us to be closer than we ever had been before. All I could think about was his body against mine and how badly I wanted to know how he was in bed.

I thought an epic love was something Gossip Girl made up, but I could feel it with Damien. It was growing more and more each moment, just like the sizable package that Damien had pressing against my private area.

As the kiss deepened, Damien slowly began to walk us toward the entrance steps of the pool. I couldn’t stifle the moan that sounded in my throat as our bodies shifted, causing his hard-on to rub against me and almost enter me. Damien let out a breathy laugh. As he detached our lips, he set me on the second step and his eyes looked over my body again. The air met my skin, giving me sudden goosebumps which gave me shivers as Damien’s eyes continued to scan my body.

Before he had the chance to place his lips against mine, I glanced down to where our bodies were meeting. I bit my lip lightly as I glanced back up to him with pleading eyes.

“Oh, so you do want it,” Damien teased as his hands went under the water. One grabbed my waist to hold me in place and the other to his extremity to tease me.

I let out a loud moan and arched my back as he lightly let the tip do lazy circles around my entrance. “Damien,” I moaned softly as my head tilted back onto one of the steps above me and my hair dipped back into the water. I heard him let out a moan as I laid back, showing off my breasts to him.

“Say it, Jade, and I’m all yours,” Damien growled as he put his tip barely into me. I licked my lips as I tried to push him in further, but he moved away. “Jade, tell me how you feel about me, and I’ll give you the time of your life.”

“What do you want me to say? That I fucking love you or something?” I cried out in frustration.

“I’m looking for three other words, something more us.”

“I dig you, okay! Is that what you want? Is that good enough for you?” I yelled as he slammed into me. I cried out from shock until he began to move inside me and started to fill me with immeasurable pleasure. I could feel him pulsating inside me, but most tantalizingly his lips rarely left my skin. His touch was constantly causing sparks of intimacy and need as he gave me the time he promised.

I pulled his head down to mine and slammed our lips together while our bodies continued to connect on a deeper level than I had ever experienced with anyone before. I felt him pick up pace as my body reacted to his motions. There was a tight ball in the pit of my stomach as Damien slammed into me faster. I moaned as the ball burst and my body spasmed under his.

I heard him groan as he gave one final slam before his body collapsed onto mine and he tangled me in his arms. For a moment I thought about swimming away and saying I didn’t want to cuddle, like I had done with Austin, but with Damien it just felt right.

“Wow,” Damien sighed eventually as his body regained its strength and he pulled me to him again. “You really are something else.”

“Thanks,” I said with a smile as I let the water lap against my body to cool me down. “Can we go upstairs to their bedroom and repeat that again?” I asked with a breathy laugh.

“I would love to. Would you mind if we spent the night together afterwards? You’re the only girl I want to wake up to in the morning, and I don’t want the night to be ruined by our parents catching us,” he said as he grabbed me again and lifted me out of the pool in his arms.

“I would love to. I should warn you though, I like to cuddle. Well, with you that is,” I added with a wink as
my lips returned to his again in promise for another round.

  Chapter 20

I walked up to Matt’s front door and walked inside without even knocking. I knew Matt left the front door unlocked when he was home, but I also knew he hated me just walking in, especially when Chase was over. Last time I had come over I had walked in on them making out, both had their shirts off, and Chase’s pants were undone and falling off his hips. I swear that straight girls all over the world would be devastated to find out that those guys were gay. They surely had bodies that were sculpted by angels.

Both had muscular forms, well defined ‘V’s, and stunning smiles even though after I walked in their usual smiles transformed into unhappy frowns. I had even flashed them an apologetic grin, but they promptly shoved me out and redressed before approaching me again. They could have been nicer, but considering the fact that I never apologized for bursting in I guess I could excuse it. Honestly, I wished that I could have watched them redress. I would get right in between them if they were straight.

This time I decided to sit on the couch and wait for one of them to come down the stairs instead of walking in on them again. While watching guy on guy was attractive since both of them could make a girl’s panties evaporate with a simple smile, I felt inclined to give them their privacy. If it was me and Damien in their place, I would only hope that they would do the same. I couldn’t help but smile as I remembered how passionate Damien’s and my love making had been. I couldn’t forget how fiery and carnal it was, and how every time we touched a new spark was sent through me. My back was arched in pleasure the entire time as moans slowly escaped my lips, and his name dripped effortlessly from my tongue.

“Oh, Damien!” I heard a voice cry suddenly from behind me. “Damien! Damien! Oh, Damien!”

“Stop!” I cried as I whipped my head around to face Matt with a smirk on his face before he let out another moan.

  “Oh, Damien!”

  “Seriously, shut up, Matt.”

“Why are you being so rude to me? You’re the one who broke into my house, and started masturbat-” he started.

“Oh, shut the fuck up! I was not!” I cried, knowing that he was about to say that I was thinking of Damien.

“Come on, Jade, you were practically ready for him on my desk. Something happened didn’t it? Chase and I knew you two would eventually be an item. We could see the chemistry from day one. I guess I should be jealous since you’re my girlfriend, huh?”

“What are you talking about?” I shrieked, begging him to stop talking about this. I was just trying to accept the intense feelings I had for Damien, and I wasn’t ready to admit it to other people. It was so comfortable just to be with Damien and I didn’t want to ruin it by telling anyone yet.

“He’s in love with you. It’s so clear that I can see why the senator wanted to keep him away from you. The way he looks at you is protective and possessive. The way he holds you is careful and forceful. The senator doesn’t want that getting out. Do you know what a stepsibling love story would do to her reputation?”

“Damien doesn’t love me,” I stated forcefully, hoping that if I pushed the subject enough then he would stop.

“He may not say it, but he does,” Matt asserted. “Believe me. I’m the gay one remember? I can read it pretty easily.”

“Can we talk about something else?” I pleaded.

“Sure, I have to say thank you anyway,” Matt stated honestly, refusing to look at me.

“Oh,” I said in a surprised tone. “And why is that?”

“Because you were right,” he mumbled.

“Well, it’s not the first time, but please continue and tell me what I was right about this time,” I prodded, wanting him to continue. I smiled as he glared daggers at me for rubbing it in his face.

“My teammates backed off. They don’t push me to get a girlfriend or ask so many questions about why Chase is always around. They were starting to doubt the whole “he’s been my best friend since second grade” story I fed them all the time. They think you’re a solid nine out of ten and all wish they could call you theirs too. It’s a nice change of pace is all I’m saying.”

I sighed, a large smile transforming my usually stoic features. “See, I told you my blackmail wasn’t just for my benefit.”

Matt rolled his eyes and scoffed. “It was, but luckily for me it’s been working out in my favor.”

“It’s been helping me a lot too,” I added. “I get to stay with all of my friends, and my dad hasn’t been on my back as much lately.”

Laughing, Matt spoke, saying, “Well, it is blackmail. It was supposed to work for you.”

“Yeah, but I’m glad it’s worked for you too.” The smile stayed plastered on my face, growing larger by the second. I was sure that I looked like a psychotic human version of the Cheshire cat at this very moment.

“Why are you smiling like that? My cheeks hurt just looking at you,” he joked.

“I’m just so happy that my reckless behavior has finally helped someone instead of just ruining their life. Let’s face it, if I was well-behaved, we wouldn’t even be in this situation right now.”

Matt nodded his head. “That’s very true, but where’s the fun in that?"

“Exactly!” I screamed, raising my hands up into the air. “Finally, someone who understands! I want to be spontaneous and live life on the edge. I don’t want to be scared to be who I am, like some people are.” I crossed my arms over my chest, shaking my head.

Matt took a seat on the couch next to me. “Hey, I know you weren’t meaning to diss me just then, but you did.”

I turned my head to look at him with a confused expression as I replayed what I had just said. “Sorry, I didn’t mean for it to come out like that,” I apologized. Wow, I really wasn’t myself today if I was apologizing for saying my mind. Changing the subject, I said, “Speaking of Chase, where is he?”

Matt furrowed his eyebrows. “We weren’t talking about Chase.”

I waved my hand. “We were earlier.”

“He’s upstairs. He should be down soon.”

Finally my smile wiped away and turned into a smirk. “Did he spend the night?” I questioned in a sing song voice.

“Duh, he does it all the time. My parents think that we’re just best friends.”

“That must be nice. Being able to see him all the time, have him spend the night, and go out on sneaky dates because no one knows that he’s your man.” I winked as I stretched out the word man, earning another eye roll.

“It must be nice living with your man,” he joked, repeating me.

I crossed one of my legs over the other and placed my folded hands on top of my knee. Then I turned my head upwards a bit. “We don’t live together, yet.”

  “Yet being the operative word.”

“Yeah,” I wrung my hands together. “I just found out the other day that I’m going to be living with them after the wedding. I’m still iffy about it. I’ve lived in my house all my life. That’s the house my parents bought after they got married. My mom picked it.”

Matt’s eyes met mine. “That sucks, but sometimes you have to move on to bigger and better things.”

I furrowed my eyebrows at his insensitive words. “I thought gay guys were sensitive.”

He flicked me off. “Well, I’m not very good with advice, okay?” He shrugged his shoulders and ran a hand through his hair. “That’s Chase’s job usually.”

“So channel Chase and give me advice.”

Matt scrunched up his eyebrows. “Okay.” He held his hands against his head and closed his eyes tightly. “Chase would say something about how you should look on the bright side; at least you’ll be living with your lover. Then he’d say how you can’t be selfish, and your dad and the senator deserve to find love too even if it is soon in your mind after your mother’s passing. Lastly, he’d say something about how your mom would want you to move on, and not hold on to the past just because of her. She would want you to be happy,
and Damien makes you happy, so you should embrace the fact that you’ll be able to see him day and night. Mainly night.” He opened his eyes and smiled. “Good enough?”

My eyes were wide as I nodded. “Damn, Chase! I mean Matt. I thought you were him after such wise and poetic advice.”

Matt smirked. “Am I good, or am I good?”

“I’m glad that was a rhetorical question so I don’t have to answer it.”

“But you know, Jade, we can’t keep this up forever. I really love Chase, and while I’m okay with it right now, I know you’ve fallen hard for Damien. If we aren’t careful this could blow up in our faces,” Matt warned as I heard Chase’s footsteps descending the stairs.

“I know, but don’t worry, if that happens I will think of plan.”

“Oh good, another plan from the infamous mind of Jade Phillips,” Chase chimed in as he came to sit on the armrest next to Matt.

“I think you channeled Chase a little bit too much, I wasn’t here for a lecture.” I groaned as I slouched into the couch’s leathery fabric.

“We can’t thank you enough, Jade, your plan has helped us so far, but you are reckless, and if you aren’t careful we will all get burned,” Chase warned with a serious expression.

“Now that’s just scary,” I said referring to the resemblance between what Matt and Chase had said. “I promise I will think of a good way for this to end when it’s time. A way that benefits all of us, or at least you both. You both deserve to be happy.”

“Thanks, Jade, I think that’s the least selfish thing you’ve ever said to anyone,” Matt stated with a smile as Chase laughed so hard he fell off his perch and onto the floor.

“I had sex with a charity case, I’m not selfish,” I said with a smile, knowing that they wouldn’t know what I was talking about unless they could somehow connect Damien to being a charity case.

I got up and blew each of them a kiss as I gave them a cheeky grin. I silently prayed that I hadn’t lied to them and that we would find a way out of this that would benefit us both or else I could possibly end up ruining Matt’s life just to save my own skin.
