Mickey's Way

by Karen Clow

“God you are healthy Billy, aren’t you!”

She was obviously referring to the size of his manhood. Gently he pushed her down on her knees and directed her head towards him. Readily she took him into her mouth. He noticed how much she seemed to be enjoying it.

Billy had always prided himself on his staying power, but he hadn’t had a woman since staying at Mickey’s. Hilary didn’t seem disappointed, when he didn’t last very long. Especially when he picked her up after she finished blowing him. She wrapped her legs around his hips and kissed him as he carried her toward the bed. Lying her on it, he immediately started to give her oral sex. It was obvious to him that her husband didn’t satisfy her, because she was groaning and breathing heavily with every flick of his tongue, practically screaming by the time she came. As Billy made his way up to lay next to her, she was still recovering from what he had just done.

“God Billy” she gasped “I’ve never experienced anything so fantastic in my life.”

“Doesn’t your old man give you plenty of that then?”

“Good God no, he’s never done it, he thinks it’s disgusting!”

“What! Is he a fucking iron hoof or something?”

He laughed when she asked him what an iron hoof was. Obviously she was unfamiliar with London slang, but she laughed when he said, “Poof.”

“Oh no he’s not gay just old and boring; it’s the missionary position or nothing for Edward. The nearest he gets to rampant sex is when I put my finger up his arse to make him come.”

“Poor Edward, he doesn’t know what he’s missing. I’ve heard a lot of blokes like that finger business, never tried it personally, but whatever turns you on I suppose. How old is Edward then?”

  “He’s sixty seven.”

“Fuck me; he must be twice your age, what brought that about then?”

“Money what else, he was very rich and I wasn’t. He wanted an attractive young wife to show off and to bear him children. That’s it really, except for one thing. Like a fool I signed a prenuptial agreement, so if I leave him I don’t get a penny. Still I have a good life, I can buy whatever I like and when I can I get sex elsewhere. Although I must say, not one of them has even come close to you Billy.”

“I hear you like to ride Hilary.”

  “Yes I love it.”

“Well you had best mount up then.”

Looking across at his body, she noticed that he was hard again. Not wanting the opportunity to pass, she mounted him like he was a stallion. He could barely keep up with her, but then she slowed down and got off him, before he had time to ask why, she asked him to roll onto his front and bend into a kneeling position. Being an opportunist he didn’t argue, he was enjoying himself too much. As he crouched on the bed he felt her kneel behind him, then placing her arms around him, she took his cock in her hand. As she ran her hand up and down him, she got faster. Then just before he came, she took her other hand and pushed her finger up his arse. He groaned with pleasure as he came.

Finally they collapsed onto the bed. “Fuck me Hilary that was fantastic. I especially liked what you did at the end.”

“Can I see you again Billy?”

“Yeah I reckon you could. Like I told you before I’m only staying in Kent, but I’ll be around for a while longer.”

“Good, my husband will be away for a few weeks and I would love to see you again, no strings attached.”

“Oh I think I could pop over a few times in the next couple of weeks.”

An hour later they were having sex again, only this time in the shower. It was almost half six when he said he was leaving. As he reached in his pocket for the car keys, he felt the envelope with the cash in it. Laughing he handed it to her.

“Suppose I ought to give you this, after all it’s why I came over.”

“Oh yes and I’m very glad you came Billy, I just hope you’ll be able to come again?”

“Well I’ve never had a problem coming yet Hilary!” said Billy with a sexy grin.

“So I’ve noticed,” she replied as he pulled away.

As she went back into the house, she poured herself a drink and thought on a scale from one to ten Billy was definitely an eleven plus!

Billy had a smug look on his face when Mickey opened the door to let him in and asked how Hilary was.

  “Hungry!”

  “You dirty bastard!”

“I just helped her out, that was all.”

  “Yeah, out of her knickers!”

“Actually Mick, she wasn’t wearing any!”

They would have continued their conversation, had Melanie not appeared in the hallway. As they walked into the kitchen, Maria asked them if they wanted a drink, they both nodded.

“How did you get on with Hilary, Billy?” said Maria as he sat down at the table.

“Yeah she was ok, quite sad really.”

She asked what he meant by sad. He talked about her husband and how old he was. Also how she’d admitted she’d only married him for his money and with her kids away at boarding school; basically she was lonely.

“Surely she must have known how old he was when they met and she must have loved him because she married him? She sounds like a gold digger, in which case I think she’s getting exactly what she deserves.

Both men were shocked with what she had just said.

“And there was me believing the woman I love saw the good in everyone!”

“People make me sick Mickey, why can’t anyone just marry for love, why does there always have to be other things like money and mistresses? Why don’t they just stay single and save all the inevitable heart break?”

It was then he knew for sure that she had overheard the conversation he had with the others the previous night. Billy was just about to say something when she said, “Dinner’s ready.”

  ***

As the weekend approached, Mickey noticed that she seemed distant. At first he’d put it down to tiredness, now he wasn’t so sure, although she did seem happier when Monica arrived with her family. His parents had already left for London by the time she arrived. Maria was so pleased to see her friend; they chatted while the others took the kids to see the ponies. It was when the others returned, Maria asked if it would be ok if she went out for a couple of hours that evening with Monica? George is okay about it.

“Why don’t we all go babe? I would take us out for a meal, I’m confident Billy wouldn’t mind babysitting.”

“Thanks, but I wouldn’t feel happy about leaving him on his own with all the kids; it wouldn’t be fair.”

Mickey looked surprised; he had always taken her out. She could tell that he wasn’t sure about her going, especially when she stated she just wanted a couple of hours out with her best friend. Knowing her attitude was out of character, he asked what was wrong and what had brought all this about.

“Is it alright if I go or not Mickey, I only want to talk to my friend, you can trust me! If not maybe you and the blokes can go out and we’ll stay here?”

Despite having a bad feeling about it, he chose not to say anything and simply replied, “No that’s fine babe, you go we’ll have the kids and I know I can trust you.”

It was almost eight by the time Monica had settled Georgie down. Maria was waiting downstairs for her. Mickey kept looking at her, although she hadn’t over dressed because they were only going to the local pub, he still thought she looked sexy. She was wearing a pair of black trousers with a grey low cut top and black high heeled shoes, she had her hair down and he noticed she was wearing make up. Although he didn’t say anything, she could tell he was feeling a bit insecure, especially when he said he could drop them at the pub and pick them up later so she didn’t have to drive.

“No, it’s ok, I’m driving so Monica can have a drink. Mickey you know I never really drink while I’m pregnant.”

She felt relieved when Monica appeared and like her she had dressed casually in trousers and a top.

Monica kissed George quickly on the lips and
said if he had any problems with the boys just ring her. Maria did the same with Mickey, only he held onto her for a proper kiss and then asked what time they’d be back. She wasn’t certain but didn’t think it would be any later than midnight.

The moment they got into the car, Monica asked her what was going on with her and Mickey. All day she’d sensed a bit of an atmosphere between them.

“It’s not him Monica, it’s me. We’ll talk about it at the pub.”

They weren’t the only ones to talk, back at the house, Billy was telling George about Hilary and being a natural comic, he had them in hysterics talking about his sexual antics. Then George caught him off guard when he asked why he was staying at Mickey’s.

“Because of what happened with the girls,” he replied without thinking.

  “What was that then?”

Billy knew straight away he’d dropped a bullock so he looked at Mickey to bail him out.

“Truth is George, we didn’t tell you because of what you do,” said Mickey “it could have been bad for the situation and as far as what I’m about to tell you goes, I want to make it clear that if it goes any further than this room I will deny ever having this conversation.”

“We’re friends Mickey and I’m not at work now.”

He listened as they told him what had happened. He wasn’t surprised to hear the name Sheridan, but like a true friend he gave his word that unless it became official police business, he wouldn’t say anything. When he asked if Monica knew, Mickey said no. He didn’t want to cause problems between them. They talked about Big Willy and that it was Lenny who had found all the information out for them.

At the pub Monica passed Maria another coke as she sat back down.

“Come on Maria tell me what’s really bothering you. I’m not convinced it’s the pregnancy like you said when we got here.”

“How could I find out if Mickey had a mistress?”

Almost choking on her drink, Monica asked why, did she think he was seeing someone? Maria shrugged her shoulders and told her about the conversation she had overheard, which included Tony keeping a mistress.

“That doesn’t mean Mickey would have, or for that matter want a mistress, so why would you think that?”

“Because he’ll get bored with me and I’ll probably get fat, plus there’s the fact I’ll have five kids before I’m thirty. I just think it would be better if I was on my own.”

“Don’t you think you’re taking things a bit too seriously, everyone knows you two are made for each other, he adores you and the girls. Don’t you think you should give him the benefit of the doubt and wait to see if anything happens? He could be the exception you know. He tells everyone how happy and content he is.”

Maria knew her friend was being honest, but she didn’t believe that he would stay faithful.

“I can’t take any more heart break Monica; I really want to be on my own. I know everyone will think it’s because I’m pregnant, but it’s not. Since the kidnapping everything seems to be closing in on me. I worry all the time. I know Mickey is always trying to protect us, but he can’t. I wish I could just change my name and move abroad with the kids, at least then we could live a normal life, but I know he wouldn’t let me take the kids. I feel so empty inside; if I’m honest I’m not even sure if I want these babies.”

“Sounds to me as though you’re depressed, maybe you would benefit from some counselling and you should be telling all this to Mickey, not me.”

Before she could reply, her mobile bleeped, it was a message from Mickey which read, ‘George knows about the kidnapping, but not that Monica knew.’ He ended the text with, ‘Hope you’re enjoying yourself, I love you M.’

After she’d read the text, she passed her phone to Monica to read it. When she finished, she asked Maria to text him back and say she was going to tell Monica now as George knew. Doing as Monica asked five minutes later he replied, ‘Great, see you later love M.’

  “Do you love him Maria?”

“Yes, with all my heart, he’s my life.”

“In that case you should talk to him, tell him how you feel.”

“I don’t want to talk to him, it won’t change anything. I don’t want to become one of those paranoid jealous wives that you read about in magazines. It’s funny really, when I was with Jimmy I accepted that he had other women, I even told him he could. I just wanted peace, yet with Mickey I couldn’t bear the thought of sharing him, I would rather be on my own. My biggest regret so far was going back to Jimmy after the hen night. If only I had been stronger back then, I would have joined a convent and none of this would have happened. I expect you think I’m stupid?”

“No, of course I don’t think you’re stupid, but like I said, I think everything has been very traumatic for you and you’re depressed. God, I’d be depressed if I was you!”

They stayed at the pub until quarter to twelve.

Driving home Maria asked her not to mention what they’d talked about. Although Monica agreed, she thought to herself that her friend needed to talk to someone and it should be Mickey.

They could hear laughter as they opened the front door. Billy was still entertaining them with his stories. Monica walked into the lounge first.

“Hello darling,” said George “did you have a nice time?”

“Yes it was quiet in the pub, but we had a nice chat.”

He knew from her reply that something wasn’t quite right. Mickey asked where Maria was. She was in the bathroom. Rising to his feet he walked towards the door, just reaching the bathroom as she appeared. It was obvious she had been crying, because her eyes were red and puffy. Smiling at her he asked if she’d had a nice time. She nodded her head as he put his arms around her and said it had been strange without her there. Unresponsive she just smiled as they made their way back to the lounge.

Back in the lounge, she asked everyone if they needed anything to eat or drink. When they said no, she apologised but said she was going to bed. Mickey looked surprised as she had only been home five minutes, but he never said anything to upset her, he simply said it was fine and he would join her soon.

“I’ll probably be asleep, I’m so tired. I’ll see you in the morning, goodnight everyone.”

Once she disappeared he looked at Monica and asked if everything was ok. She really wanted to tell him what had been said, but Maria had asked her not to, so she simply said she thought Maria was a bit depressed which wasn’t surprising with what they’d been through lately. Mickey maintained the belief that Monica hadn’t known and asked if she knew about the kidnapping.

“God it’s awful, I couldn’t believe it when Maria told me.”

When Mickey went up to bed about an hour later, she was asleep. Although he really wanted to hold her, he didn’t want her to wake so he gently put his arm over her.

Her side of the bed was empty when he woke the following morning, so after showering he made his way downstairs, the four kids were playing. Monica was talking to her. Walking over he nodded at Monica then he went over to Maria kissed her on the cheek. Ten minutes later the others came downstairs. Maria asked them what they wanted for breakfast; it was unanimous, they all opted for the full Monty. While she cooked their breakfast, they talked about what to do that day. Billy asked if Mickey needed him that day. he wanted to drive up to London to check on his flat and pick up his mail. Mickey said it was fine for him to go as long as he returned that night.

After breakfast he left. Maria would have worried had George not have been there. Monica suggested them all going to Maidstone. They could have lunch out. Then perhaps the two wonderful dads could take the kids to a play centre so her and Maria could do a bit of Christmas shopping? The men nodded.

By half ten they were on their way to Maidstone. The shopping centre was busy, because Christmas was just weeks away, every shop was packed with people.

The two men took the kids into a jewellers shop, with strict instructions for the ladies to wait outside. Monica had noticed how
quiet Maria had been; she asked her if she was ok. Maria nodded, but said she felt tired.

After almost half an hour, the others joined them. The two men were carrying bags. Harry made a point of telling Monica that they had bought her something for Christmas, but George was quick to remind him it was a surprise and if Monica wasn’t good Father Christmas wouldn’t be bringing it to her. It was the same for children.

“I see you’ve got the father role down to a fine art George,” said Mickey with a grin.

They found a nice little restaurant to have lunch at. Everyone was enjoying their meal, except Maria. Monica noticed that she hardly touched hers. Looking at her she asked if her meal was ok. Maria looked close to tears as she said it was fine, but she needed to use the toilet.

Aware that he was genuinely concerned for his wife, Monica told Mickey that Maria hadn’t had breakfast. Seeing that Mickey was concerned and despite her promise, she decided she should tell him some of what had been said. Although she indicated that they should talk in private and not in front of the kids. Mickey agreed they would talk later.

Maria returned and apologised, but she wasn’t feeling very well. Mickey suggested they all went home.

“No it’s ok Mickey, I don’t want to spoil everyone’s day.”

“It’s fine Maria,” said George “I’ve had enough shopping for one day!”

  They all laughed.

It was just after half two when they arrived back at the house. George made drinks, while Monica sorted the kids out. Mickey took Maria upstairs and ordered her to bed. He told her not to be daft when she said she felt rude lying down while their friends were there. Before getting into bed she stripped down to her underwear. Kissing her cheek, he told her to have a kip.

Back downstairs the kids were happily playing with Rosie. Monica had asked George to watch them so that she could talk to Mickey. She poured him a cup of tea as he entered the kitchen. Although she felt bad about betraying her friend, she mentioned about the conversation Maria had overheard.
