"Holy shit! Give a little warning before you do that," Royena exclaimed suddenly standing up in the back.

"I had to hold up my end of the deal, you know I don't like seeming like a liar," Sif said simply.

"Shouldn't we have made sure he wasn't lying first?" Royena asked as Sif jumped out of the back.

"If he was going to lie, he wouldn't have done it with a loaded gun trained on him,"

"I find people are most honest when they're about to die," Sif replied walking over to the No Trespassing sign.

  Captured again

"If we die, it's all your fault," Aurelia growled, glaring at Vorenzar as she struggled against her restraints.

She, Caliphar and Vorenzar were chained to the wall in a dimly lit room, guarded by a soldier armed with an AR-15.

"I give up trying to explain myself, so sure go ahead and put all the blame on me," Vorenzar sighed, hanging her head.

Caliphar looked up at Aurelia, seeing the anger in her eyes.

"If I could get free, I'd have no problem disarming that soldier," Caliphar said tugging at his restraints.

"It's a good thing I'm not free, otherwise I'd be choking Vorenzar right now‚" Aurelia hissed under her breath, glancing sideways at Caliphar.

"Hey!" Vorenzar exclaimed looking up at Aurelia.

"You aren't exactly in the position to argue right now‚" Caliphar interrupted looking at Vorenzar.

"Fair enough‚" Vorenzar replied before shutting up completely.

Caliphar turned his head back to look at Aurelia.

"We told the others where we were going, at least Sif and Royena are bound to be looking for us by now," He said in an attempt to cheer up Aurelia.

"Yeah, but I doubt they'll figure out we're being held against our will in some kind of underground bunker," She replied.

"They're smarter than you give them credit for," Caliphar said with a half smile.

A stoic looking man wearing a long jacket over a commander's uniform walked into the room, marching over to Aurelia.

"You must be the one I've been hearing about," He said.

He reached up with his gloved hand to touch her cheek, but Aurelia spit in his face.

The man wiped his face and glared darkly at Aurelia.

"Don't you dare fucking touch me, you twisted son of a bitch," Aurelia hissed at him.

"You definitely live up to the reputation you've made for yourself," the man muttered.

"Why are you keeping us down here?" Vorenzar interrupted, catching the man's attention.

"You were caught trespassing on military owned property,"

"Military owned?" Aurelia repeated looking at the man.

Before the man could say anything, another man in a similar uniform entered the room, flanked by two soldiers armed with AR-15s.

"What are you telling our guests?"

"Guests? Don't you mean prisoners?" Caliphar growled.

"I like this one, he has a smart mouth," the man flanked by the soldiers spoke as he approached Caliphar.

"You'll be fun to break," He grinned patting Caliphar' cheek.

"Go fuck yourself," Caliphar snarled angrily, yanking at his restraints.

"Perhaps I'll fuck your friends instead, and make you watch," He replied with a perverted smirk.

"I'll rip you to shreds before you even try," Caliphar growled, baring his fangs.

"I'd like to see you try," He challenged Caliphar.

Caliphar balled his right hand into a fist and struck the man in his nose, knocking him backwards, which caused him to stumble and land on his ass.

The man pushed himself up to his feet and straightened his uniform, an annoyed expression making his lips thin.

"Take this one to the holding cell," He barked the order, giving Caliphar a nasty look as he wiped the blood from his nose.

"You can't do that!" Aurelia exclaimed as the two soldiers approached Caliphar to unchain him.

"Oh, I believe I can and shall do so because you can't stop me," the man replied with a smug grin.

The soldiers had unchained Caliphar, who suddenly had the first soldier's arm twisted behind his back, which gave him a chance to disarm the soldier.

"Try anything and I put a bullet in your head," Caliphar snarled aiming the gun at the soldiers.

Noticing the fact Caliphar was distracted the man slowly removed the revolver concealed by his jacket and aimed it at him, but Caliphar was quick to react and fired a bullet between the man's eyes.

He dropped to his knees instantly as blood began to gush from the bullet wound.

"Did you think I was fucking kidding?" Caliphar said training the gun on the soldiers.

"Calliqruis, behind you!" Aurelia shouted noticing the other man armed with a dagger.

Caliphar spun on his heel and fired a bullet directly into the man's chest, watching him collapse as his dagger clattered to the floor.

"Hey! Get off me you freaks!" Aurelia cried out as the soldiers corned her.

Growling fiercely, Caliphar stepped up behind the two soldiers and pressed the warm barrel of the gun into the back of the second soldier's neck inches below his skull.

"Leave her alone," He whispered into the soldier's ear.

Fearing for his life, the soldier slowly raised his arms in surrender as he backed away from Aurelia.

"Now I suggest you both get down on your knees or else," Caliphar commanded gesturing with the gun.

The soldiers got down on their knees slowly and put their hands on their heads. Caliphar stepped toward them, then grabbed the gun from the other soldier, and swung the strap over his shoulder.

"Which one of you is going to give me the key to unchain my friends, and which of you knows where the Destroyer that was with us is?"

"You mean that crazed mutt that attacked us before we could lock it up?" the first soldier muttered.

"That mutt as you so blatantly call him has a name and belongs to us," Aurelia hissed angrily, glaring at the soldier.

"So if you don't tell us where he is, I will scratch your eyes out!" She growled as she extended her claws.

The soldier tossed the key across the floor, where it came to land at Caliphar' feet. Caliphar bent down and picked it up before quickly unchaining Aurelia.

Aurelia unexpectedly threw her arms around Caliphar' neck and pulled him close against her body, which had a very strong physical affect on him.

Before he could say anything, she crushed her lips against his as she kissed him deeply, his arms naturally wrapping around her waist as he proceeded to deepen the kiss.

After a moment, Aurelia slowly pulled away and gave him a look of innocence.

"What was that for?" He inquired with a confused expression plastered across his face.

"Just in case we don't make it out of here alive," She replied with a smile.

"Well, in that case‚" He responded with a smirk.

He grabbed her by the waist and pulled her close, kissing her passionately.

"Do you two think you could unchain me and shoot those assholes before you jump each other like a pair of rabbits?" Vorenzar interrupted, audibly clearing her throat.

Aurelia and Caliphar looked up at Vorenzar; both had annoyed expression on their faces.

"You deal with them, I'll unchain her," Caliphar said handing Aurelia the AR-15 hanging off his shoulder.

"With immense pleasure," Aurelia grinned accepting the gun with excitement, walking towards the soldiers still kneeling on their knees.

Caliphar unlocked the chains around Vorenzar's wrists.

"Thanks, those damn chains were making my arms ache," Vorenzar said with a sigh of relief.

"For a brief moment I thought about leaving you chained up, but I don't want to see you get killed," He replied walking over to Aurelia.

"I'm going to only ask this once, where are you keeping our Destroyer?"

"And even if one of you answers honestly, I'm going to shoot both of you because I am getting tired of being kidnapped by you s
oldier dickheads," Aurelia growled waving the gun at them.

"That mutt is in the lock up room nine twenty-nine, but you'll never reach it since there are over a doZandrem guards and soldiers between here and that room," the second soldier explained.

"I think we'll do just fine," Aurelia said pressing the gun barrel against the soldier's forehead, pulling the trigger as a bullet splattered blood and brain matter across the floor, causing him to collapse.

Turning the gun on the other soldier, she pressed the hot barrel against his left temple and pulled the trigger, blowing his brains and blood out the other side of his head.

"Can we get the fuck out of here now?" Vorenzar questioned.

"Yes, but not until we find Zxeron, we're not leaving without him," Aurelia responded as she turned from the dead soldiers to look at Vorenzar.

"How many bullets you got, Caliphar?" She asked looking up at him.

Caliphar popped out the magazine and checked it.

"Thirty eight rounds. You?" He replied as he slid the magazine back into place.

Aurelia popped out the magazine in the gun she had and checked it.

"Thirty eight as well," She nodded placing the magazine back into the gun.

"Make every shot count, then," Caliphar grinned, winking at her.

"Hey, what about me? If you didn't happen to notice, I don't have a gun or weapon of any kind‚" Vorenzar said pointedly, looking at them both.

"The soldiers were the only ones that had guns, check the other guys for some kind of weapon but hurry up before someone sounds an alarm," Aurelia said with an annoyed look.

Vorenzar heaved a sigh as she stepped over to where the men in commander uniforms laid on the floor in large puddles of blood, and began to riffle through their pockets.

She found a folded up double-edged pocket knife with the name 'Centipede' etched into the handle.

"This'll have to do," She said, joining the others by the door.

"Ready to do this?" Aurelia asked, swinging the gun strap over her shoulder where it rested against her back as she reached for the door handle.

Caliphar and Vorenzar nodded in response.

  Search and rescue part 1

Aurelia cautiously pulled the door open and surveyed the long, straight corridor.

"Is it clear?" Caliphar asked trying to peer out through the door past Aurelia, his body pressing into her's.

Aurelia glanced up and spotted a surveillance camera mounted to the ceiling that was aimed at the door of the room they were in.

"Fuck‚" She hissed quickly shutting the door as she turned her back to it to face Caliphar and Vorenzar.

"What's the problem?" Caliphar inquired giving Aurelia a confused look.

"They have a fucking surveillance camera trained on this damn room, they probably just saw me open the door," Aurelia explained, leaning her head against the door.

"I can take it out, want me to?" Caliphar replied looking at her.

"If they already saw Aurelia, there's a big chance they'll notice you shooting out a surveillance camera and attract even more unwanted attention," Vorenzar protested.

"That's the point, we wanna draw attention to our selves and make it easier to kill the bastards," Caliphar responded with a grin.

Aurelia cracked the door open, giving Caliphar enough room to aim the barrel of the gun through it at the camera.

Taking a deep breath, Caliphar focused on the camera and shot it directly in the lens, making it shatter.

The blaring sound of an alarm rang out and echoed off the concrete walls.

"I don't think these dumb fucks fully thought out the idea of such an alarm!" Aurelia exclaimed covering her sensitive ears to prevent going deaf.

"Battle positions, now!" Caliphar shouted, throwing the door open as he aimed his gun ahead of him.

Aurelia stepped up to his right and aimed her gun as Vorenzar stepped up to Aurelia's right and held up her knife.

Aurelia and Caliphar exchanged devious grins as they took their battle stances perfectly.

Heavy footfalls thundered against the cement floor as doZandrems of soldiers came racing down the hall towards the three of them.

Aurelia glanced at Vorenzar who was rocking from side to side on her feet.

"Hold your ground," She commanded making eye contact with Vorenzar.

"Duck!" Caliphar shouted as he, Aurelia and Vorenzar dropped to the floor.

Hundreds of bullets blazed over their heads as casings clattered to the floor.

"Now!" Aurelia yelled lifting up her head.

She and Caliphar stayed low on their bellies and began firing accurately at the soldiers' legs, causing the first row of men to drop like flies.

As the second row of soldiers marched forward, Aurelia and Caliphar jumped to their feet and charged the first two men at the front of the row.

Caliphar slammed the butt of his gun into the soldier's face with deadly force, knocking the man onto his back before firing a bullet straight into his right eye, blood spurting as the bullet pierced through the socket.

The second soldier swung his gun at Aurelia but she ducked and came back up, catching the right side of his face with the butt of her gun knocking him sideways to the ground where he laid on his side.

Stepping over to him, Aurelia pressed the heel of her boot against his throat.

"I don't need to waste a perfectly good bullet to kill you," She spoke quietly as she looked into his eyes.

"Stand down! All of you, now!" a loud, yet feminine voice echoed through the hall.

Caliphar and Aurelia exchanged looks of confusion as they watched the rest of the soldiers' position their weapons against their sides.

Aurelia glanced around at the crowd of men and suddenly spotted a military beret bobbing towards the front of the crowd.

Vorenzar cautiously came to stand behind Caliphar, her knife hidden behind her back.

The figure finally reached the front of the crowd of soldiers, dressed from head to toe in a full major general uniform.

"These hostages are to come with me to my outpost; they are being transferred tonight under my own orders,"

"Ma'am, yes ma'am!" the soldiers all shouted in unison.

"Follow me you three and give me those weapons," Aurelia stepped up to the figure and handed over her gun, peering at the figure's eyes beneath their beret.

Caliphar and Vorenzar joined Aurelia and handed over their weapons as well.

Aurelia bit her lip to keep herself from giggling as she and the others followed the figure through the crowd of soldiers.

Once they had reached the exit hatch and made their way up to the surface, Aurelia threw her arms around the figure wearing the major general uniform.

"You crazy fucking bitch!" She burst out laughing, suddenly applauding.

"Thank you, thank you very much," Sif responded with a bow as she gracefully removed her beret.

Caliphar let out a huge sigh of relief as he joined in applauding with Aurelia.

Vorenzar folded her arms across her chest and snorted out through her nose in annoyance.

"Thanks for saving my ass back there in that bunker full of nearly three doZandrem soldiers, Sif,"

"Oh, no problem, you're welcome Vorenzar, even though it was your fault for putting Aurelia and Caliphar in danger in the first place‚" Sif said mockingly as she unbuttoned her jacket.

"I was only there trying to recover their weapons‚" Vorenzar replied shortly, turning her nose up at Sif.

"And nearly get us killed in the process," Aurelia snapped, turning on Vorenzar.

"If Caliphar hadn't gotten away from those soldiers and if we didn't have perfect marksmanship, not to mention the fact Sif had the idea to steal a major general's uniform, you'd be dead!" She growled at Vorenzar.

"Sif, do not give Vorenzar the knife she took from the asshole Caliphar killed,"

"Here, take it back," Sif said handing the knife over to Aurelia.

  "Thank you," Aurelia replied tucking
the knife into her back pants pocket.

"Let's get the hell out of here before any of those soldiers we didn't waste come looking for us," She quickly added.
