The Harder They Fall

“Hey, Heather, did you really have to comfort Tanner so well?” Tyler snapped.

“Look, I didn’t push him into anything. He was upset and we hugged. Then he kissed me and things went from there.” Heather crossed her arms.

“Still, you knew he was upset. Kinda taking advantage of the situation.”

While Tyler was talking to Heather, Jessica made her way to the bar. She leaned across the bar and spoke with the bartender, passing him a fifty. She made her way back to Heather and grabbed her arm.

“We don’t have time for this. Come on, Heather.” Jess dragged her out.

Tyler went back to the bar. The bartender was smiling at him and Tyler figured right away that he was gay. It was hot, so he downed his soda only to realize it was alcohol. He coughed loudly.

“Shit! What is that?” Tyler put his hand to his forehead.

“Jack Daniel’s. You grabbed the wrong glass, kid.” The bartender smiled but managed a convincing wince.

Tyler staggered to the bathroom. His head was spinning and he saw three of everything. The door to his stall opened suddenly, and firm hands pushed him into the wall. A hand cupped his dick as fingers worked his zipper down. He tried to focus but could only make out black hair.

“Damon, oh thank God. I accidently drank a glass of Jack.” He heard low mumbling and his head hit the stall door as a hand stroked his dick. His pants dropped to the floor and lips found his as the hand stroked him faster.

“Damon, I don’t feel so good.”

Tyler felt bile rising in his throat and pushed the mouth away and that’s when the stall door opened.

“Tyler? I’m out here — what the fuck?” Damon’s eyes went wide with shock. Tyler’s pants were pooled around his feet and the bartender was stroking Tyler’s cock, smiling.

“Damon?” Tyler tried to focus but his eyes couldn’t. He pushed the hand away from his dick.

  “You’re drunk, Tyler?” Damon snapped.

“I only had one drink; it was an accident,” Tyler slurred and his eyes were nearly crossed. He tried to come out of the stall and fell forward on his face.

“Shit!” Damon grabbed the bartender and slammed him into the wall. “Watch him — and don’t fucking touch him!” Damon ran to get his father. “Dad, come on! Something’s wrong with Tyler.”

Jordan came into the bathroom. He felt Tyler’s pulse and then looked at his pupils; they were blown. “We need to get him to the hospital. Tell Heath to stay here; don’t let the guests know what’s going on. Make something up, Damon.”

Damon walked toward the back dining room. Heather ran up to him and put her hand on his arm.

  “Damon, wait!”

“I don’t have time for you.” Damon shook her hand off.

“Wait!” Heather tried to catch up with him. “It was Jessica, Damon!” she called after him.

  “What?” Damon turned around.

“Jessica set up Tyler with the bartender to hurt you.”

“That bitch! She’s going to kill someone!” He took a deep, steadying breath. “Thanks, Heather, but I’ve got to go.”

Damon pulled Caleb aside in the dining room, told him the story and asked him to cover for Tyler, Jordan and himself.

“I got it. Go, Damon.” Caleb smiled but Damon saw dangerous anger beneath the surface.

They got to the hospital and Jordan admitted Tyler for tests. When the results came back, he looked them over while Damon was trying to read the chart.

“Well, no wonder. He’s on a migraine medication,” Jordan sighed.

“What’s that mean?” Damon looked at his father.

“It means that the alcohol was intensified by the medication. No wonder he looked drunk off his ass. He wouldn’t have been able to tell the difference between you and an elephant.” Jordan smiled half-heartedly.

“I called his parents, they’re on their way. Can I sit with him, Dad?”

“Go on in, he’s out for now.”

Damon slowly entered in the room. Tyler’s breathing was slow and the monitor’s beeps were quiet. He sat in the chair next to the bed and held Tyler’s hand. He brushed the hair off his forehead.

“Hey, baby, I’m here,” Damon whispered, squeezing Tyler’s hand. He put his head on the bed and closed his eyes. He woke up a few hours later when he felt his dad’s hand on his shoulder.

“Hey, if you want to stay, I can pick you up in the morning,” Jordan whispered.

  “Can I?” Damon smiled.

“Yes, Tyler’s parents have come and gone. You can sleep here tonight.” Jordan mussed up his son’s hair.

“K, thanks, Dad.” His father left and Damon took off his shoes, crawled into bed with Tyler and pulled him into his chest. “I love you, Tyler.” He kissed his forehead, closed his eyes, and fell asleep in moments with Tyler’s gentle breathing lulling him to sleep.

Mark left the party at Skyline and headed to Paul’s apartment. He just wanted to get his phone and leave. Their conversation this morning still stung, and then to have Tanner and Heather thrown in his face at school had been close to unbearable. He was pissed and not looking forward to being treated like a piece of gum on Paul’s shoe.

He knocked on the door and waited. Paul opened it, ran his eyes over Mark salaciously and smiled.

  “Come on in.”

“I’m just here for the phone. I won’t bother you.” Mark brushed past Paul and stood impatiently in the living room.

Paul eyed him carefully. Something had happened tonight. He looked upset; he also looked amazing in tight jeans and a grey button up shirt. He went to his room and got the phone. When he came back out, Mark was standing by the door.

  God, he was beautiful.

Paul felt something he had never felt before — longing.

  “Everything okay?”

“What do you care? I’m just some annoying kid, remember?” Mark took the phone out of Paul’s hand and turned to leave. Paul grabbed his wrist.

“What’s wrong, Mark?” Paul turned him around and searched his face.

“Look, I just came to get my phone.” Mark tried to break free.

“Something is wrong.” Paul pulled him closer. “What happened, Mark?”

“Tanner slept with Heather again. Last night.” Mark blurted out.

Paul pulled him into his arms and Mark wrapped himself around the older teen’s waist.

The way Mark felt in his arms sent Paul’s pulse skyrocketing. This was starting to scare him now. He made it a point never to let anyone close to him and this was becoming harder and harder for Paul to control. Mark’s lips at were his neck and he moaned as a hand rubbed his ass.

Mark was kissing him now, slowly and sensually. Paul’s dick stood up and took notice of the situation and Paul pulled back. He had to stop this; Mark was getting to him. He pushed Mark away, trying to regain control.

“You need to leave,” Paul gasped.

“Why? I thought you wanted me?”

“I can’t do this, okay? You still have feelings for Tanner and I refuse to be the rebound guy.” Paul walked past him and opened the door. “This isn’t what I do, Mark. I fuck and I leave. I don’t do feelings.”

Mark stepped up to Paul and poked him in the chest.

“You know what Paul? I think you do have feelings. I think you have feelings for me. You’re just too scared to do anything about it! Yeah, I still care about Tanner. But you know what? Since we met, I think about you a lot. I think about how it feels to kiss you, how your hands set me on fire, and how the heat of your mouth on my dick nearly makes me pass out. I think about you constantly. If you really wanted to, you would fuck me and leave me — but you can’t. Because — deep inside — you don’t want to leave me, do you? You’re scared that I’ll leave you, and that’s why you’re always alone, Paul! And you always will be alone until you trust someone.”

  Mark walked out the door.

Paul shut the door and rested against it. “FUCK!”

&n
bsp; He stomped to his room and kicked the dresser. He dropped down on the bed and dragged his hands down his face. What was it about this one kid that he couldn’t shake? In all this time, no one had ever affected him. How did Mark pull that off? Paul flopped back on the bed. When his parents died, he swore he would never feel anything for anyone ever again.

Because they always left, one way or another.

Now Mark had come into his life by some freak chance meeting at a club. He wasn’t going to let Mark in. He couldn’t.

The sad part was, Mark had already put a crack in his armor.

  Chapter 6

Saturday morning, Heath was on his stomach in bed, one leg out of the sheets and smiling. He and Caleb had made love all night, and Heath was sore as hell. He looked over at Caleb’s sleeping form and smiled more broadly. He was so damn good looking, and good-hearted, it was no wonder everyone who met him fell in love.

They had showered in the early morning hours and Caleb had fucked him in the shower. That was by far the best one from the whole night. Heath smiled. He looked at Caleb’s naked ass and licked his lips. He grabbed the lube from the nightstand and grabbed a condom. He stopped and looked at it. They had been together for a while now; both of them tested every six months. Heath put the condom back; he wanted to feel Caleb raw.

He pulled the sheet down and spread Caleb’s legs. A low moan caught his attention and he grinned, massaging Caleb’s ass. He spread the cheeks apart, leaned over and gently lapped at Caleb’s entrance. He heard another low moan, this one longer, and licked again. This time he thrust his tongue inside. Heath loved the low groans coming from Caleb, so he licked and probed some more. He ran his tongue around in circles and thrust inside again. Caleb’s ass went up higher and gave Heath a chance to grab his hips and thrust his tongue in more deeply.

  “Heath, shit!”

Heath lubed his fingers and he pressed them in slowly, one by one. Caleb was writhing on the bed now, his breaths coming faster as Heath twisted and stretched his ass. He hit Caleb’s prostate several times.

  “Heath! Fuck me!” Caleb growled.

Heath brought Caleb up on his hands and knees. He lubed his cock and slowly inserted it. Caleb gasped and pulled away.

“What are you doing, Heath?” He looked over his shoulder at Heath’s bare cock.

“I want to feel you raw, Caleb — please?” Heath pleaded.

  “Heath, are you sure?”

  “Yes, please? Can I?”

Caleb nodded and Heath went back to work. He lined himself up and grabbed Caleb’s hips, slowly pushing his way in. It felt fucking amazing. Caleb clamped down on him immediately and Heath gasped. To be in Caleb bare…oh God…it felt fucking fabulous.

Heath tried to control himself as best he could, but fuck; he wanted to come so hard! He watched as his cock disappeared inch by inch into Caleb’s ass. Caleb was stroking himself as Heath continued his journey. He finally had his cock buried all the way in Caleb’s ass. He pulled out slowly and Caleb gasped.

“Oh fuck! That feels so good, Heath!”

“I know! Being inside you without a condom feels unbelievable!” Heath was so overwhelmed, he could barely talk. He slowly inched out and then back in, enjoying the show as Caleb’s ass swallowed his cock. He watched as Caleb stroked himself, and reveled in the groans and moans both were making. Heath picked up his pace, pushing in further this time, hitting Caleb’s prostate.

“Fuck! Hit it again!” Caleb begged.

Heath pulled out then shoved back in harder. He almost came, but he wanted Caleb to come first. He increased the tempo, sliding in harder each time. Caleb was jacking himself off faster and faster. Heath knew he couldn’t hold it much longer. He grabbed Caleb by the hips and thrust in hard; he felt his orgasm rising up in him. He pulled out slowly and rammed into Caleb again, picking up the pace until he was slamming in and out like a machine.

“Fuck, Heath! I’m coming!” Caleb’s voice was raspy as cum shot from him, hitting the sheets below. Heath reared back, slamming into Caleb a last time. He cried out, his whole body shuddering with his release. He slumped over Caleb’s back and kissed his back.

“Jesus,” Heath breathed. He withdrew slowly and lay on the bed next to a sweat-slicked Caleb. He was still panting and had a look of complete satisfaction on his face.

“Damn, Heath!” Caleb was wearing a loopy grin.

“I want you to fuck me with no condom.” Heath palmed his face.

“Really? Are you sure?” Caleb kissed Heath slowly.

“Yes, I want to feel you, Caleb.”

“Okay, we’ll talk about it, but right now, we need to get going. Brunch at the parents’ house, remember?” Caleb got up slowly.

“Hmm, did I hurt you, baby?” Heath smiled wickedly.

“Oh just wait, Heath. I’ll get you.”

  “I fucking hope so!”

Tyler woke up with Damon in bed with him. It took a few moments to realize where he was, and then he saw the IV. What the fuck?

  “Damon?”

Damon’s eyes flew open. “Oh, thank God you’re okay! Why didn’t you tell me you were on migraine meds?”

“I don’t know. Didn’t seem all that important. I mean I take a lot of hits in football, so I get migraines sometimes.”

“Jesus, Tyler.” Damon wrapped his arms around his boyfriend, holding him tightly.

“What the hell happened? Why am I in the hospital?”

“You don’t remember, do you? Jessica paid the bartender to mix up your soda with a glass of Jack Daniels and then he followed you into the bathroom when you got sick and hit on you. I found you in the bathroom with the guy. You thought he was me.”

“Oh my God!” Tyler’s eyes went wide. “Did I…did I do anything?”

“Well, you didn’t. The bartender did, though. I wouldn’t worry too much about him. I told Caleb.” Damon waggled his brows.

“Oh hell! Are you — are we okay?” Tyler fidgeted nervously.

“Tyler, we’re fine. You didn’t do anything wrong. I love you.” Damon held Tyler closely.

Jordan knocked and smiled at the picture of his son on the bed with Tyler.

“Hey, you’re discharged. I asked your parents if it was all right for you to come to our house for brunch. They said it was fine. That’s if you want to?”

“That would be great, Dr. Youngblood. I’m hungry.”

“Well, your CAT scans came back clean, nothing to worry about there. I want to change your medication, though. This is a high dose for someone your age. I’ll pick it up for you, okay? You two get ready; I’ll be back in a half hour to take you to the house.”

Tyler got out of bed slowly. The nurse came in and removed his IV. Damon sat on the bed and waited while he went to the bathroom and got dressed.

“Damon, is Tyler okay?” Heather asked in a small voice from the doorway.

“Yeah, he is. Hey, thanks for telling me last night. I know Jess is your friend.”

“Not anymore. We got into a fight last night.” Heather pointed to her black eye.

“Wow.” Damon stood up and looked at her face more closely. “I hope you gave her an ass kicking.”

“Oh, I did. I told her parents, too.” Heather smiled. “I think she’s in a shitload of trouble now. Again.”

  “Thanks, Heather.”

“No problem, Damon. I told you I was sorry, and I meant it. I wasn’t going to let Jess do something again to hurt you or Tyler.” Heather smiled and left.

Tyler came out of the bathroom fully dressed. “Did I hear Heather?”

“Yep, she told last night what was going on, that Jess was behind the whole thing. She wanted to be sure that you were okay. Apparently, they got into it last night.” Damon smiled. “You look better.”

“I feel better, slight headache and all.” Tyler pulled Damon to him. “Thanks, Damon.”

“For what?” Damon smoothed Tyler’s hair back and kissed his forehead.

  “For beli
eving in me. I would never hurt you. I’m so in love with you.” Tyler leaned in and brushed his lips to Damon’s.

“I know. I love you too, Tyler, so much.” Damon hugged him close. “For a split second, I thought maybe you knew what you were doing. But when you fell over, I knew…”

“I fell?” Tyler rubbed his forehead. “No wonder my head hurts.”

“Hey, I’ll take care of you.”

“Hey, lovebirds, ready?” Jordan smiled in the doorway.

“Yeah, thanks, Dad.” Damon smiled and took Tyler’s hand. “Let’s go.”

Heath and Caleb were already at the house when Jordan arrived with Damon and Tyler. Stefan was busy taking food out of the oven. They gathered around the breakfast bar and discussed Isabelle and Charlie, wondering how they were doing.

“I think Charlie may come for the summer, or at least a week during the summer. She’s been interning.” Jordan beamed.

“Wow, she moved up quite fast,” Damon said.

“She has, she’s even surpassed me,” Jordan laughed.

“What about Izzy? She’ll be here to give birth, right?” Heath was trying to steal a biscuit. Stefan smacked his hand.

“Yes, she will. She has already made arrangements with the doctors at Medical Center West.” Stefan gave Heath a plate.

Caleb turned his attention to Tyler. “So, how are you feeling?”

  “Better. My head stopped pounding.”

“Yeah? I think the bartender at Skyline will be calling in sick for a few days,” Heath snickered.

“Heath, what did you do?” Stefan eyed his son warily.

Heath’s face belonged on a Christmas cherub. “Not a thing.”

  Stefan turned to Caleb. “Caleb?”

“What? Okay, so I might have made him cry.” Caleb shrugged.

Damon glanced at Tyler; he seemed exhausted. “Hey, after you eat how about you take a nap?”
