I am so fortunate to have a wonderful group of ARC readers, many of whom I am privileged to call friends. A big thank you Dee Groocock, Gail Shaw and Craig Gillan for not being afraid to contact me with those pesky errors that still manage to slip through after countless edits and proofreads! Your help is very much appreciated, I can tell you. I do actually believe I have the best ARC group ever so thank you all again for your support and reviews.

I can’t write this without saying a huge thank you to the many book sites that help to promote my work. Mark Fearn and Susan Hunter, you have been amazing, always allowing me space on your pages, Crime Fiction Addict and Book Mark! Also, a big thank you to Philomena Callan’s site, Cheekypee, Promote your Books with Me, for allowing unlimited promos. There are so many book sites that are worthy of a mention and I’m afraid that I’ll miss some out but I’m also going to thank Skye’s Mum & Books, Book on the Positive Side, The Paperback Writers, UK Crime Book Club, The Book Club, Book Connectors, Crime Book Club, The Fiction Café Book Club, The Psychological Suspense Authors Association and Strictly Suspense. Sorry if I’ve missed any. You are all fantastic, running these sites in your spare time and giving authors the chance to have their books noticed and also giving us the chance to interact with readers. Writing is a lonely business and time spent chatting with like-minded people about books and writing and, of course, giggling at the rude memes helps keep me sane.

This is the second book that I edited during the lockdown of 2020, a strange and surreal time for many and a time when I lost a good friend. Pauline, I will miss you terribly but will remember the many laughs we had together, especially your commando-style crawl across the snooker table in the local golf club, something which still makes me chuckle all these years later. I hope you’re managing the odd glass of wine up there and watching over us.

Finally, thank you to you, dear reader, for buying and reading my book. I hope you enjoyed it and if ever you feel like contacting me, I can be found on Facebook or Twitter. Feel free to follow me at:
