Confession: I was nervous as hell to start another new series. Thinking back, I had the exact same feeling when I started the Dare to Dream series … and that turned out okay, so I pushed forward. As I wrote and got really invested in Shawn and Madison’s story, I came to really love them, but I also knew that this book was a little different than others I’ve written. The timeline was tight and I had to think about how to incorporate the other characters in the series in a way that made sense … especially since Shawn and Madison were away on their own for ninety percent of the book. I was scared it wasn’t going to work. In the end, I think it may be one of my favorite books I’ve written. I hope you enjoyed Shawn and Madison the way I have.
