Moonlight Wolves Box Set Page 60

Or, they would just leave the car and run in the woods together. There was nothing more exciting than when she pulled Ethan from the car one night and into the woods, both of them yelling with pleasure for all the animals to hear and leaving with dirt all over their naked bodies.

Ethan excited her. And she excited him. And she knew, no matter what, they would always have a connection like no other. Even though he was an alpha from another pack, who would be leaving soon to head back to the south and take care of his own shifters.

Hazel would follow him anywhere and watch him lead like the great man that he was.

“Hey, baby,” Ethan said as she joined the group, making her smile with delight. They were very new as a public couple, but she loved that they were now able to hold hands and kiss in public just like everyone else.

“God, you guys are annoying,” Lea cackled at them as Hazel interlaced her fingers with Ethan’s and kissed him on the cheek to say hello.

Hazel rolled her eyes, though the smile never left her face. Lea should talk. She and Finn had been the most annoying lovebirds around when they first got together.

“You ready to go home?” Hazel asked her man. She had just left work and was picking him up for a date night at her place. She was supposed to cook them dinner, though she knew that they might never get there because of their desire for each other.

“Of course,” he responded, signaling everyone to begin to say goodbye to each other.

The gym was packed now that the murder investigation was over. Police and humans were no longer in the forest looking for clues or evidence to find the killer, and shifters were free to roam and shift wherever and however they pleased. And now that Matthew knew the truth about shifters, he would go to Hann if there was another incident that raised questions.

Hazel knew that Matthew didn’t trust Hann at first, but after seeing Hann serve justice to the two men that killed Camilla, Hazel could see Matthew was beginning to trust the alpha.

  Reluctantly.

“What are we having for dinner?” Ethan asked, nipping her ear as he wrapped his arm around her shoulders as they walked. Hazel blushed as she wrapped her own arm around his waist pulling his side to hers.

“Whatever you desire, babe,” she whispered back to him, leading them both to take off to her car in anticipation of the night to come, laughing the whole way.
