"How?" Caleb asked. "Did he take part in this too?"
"No!" Janice shrugged, smiling brightly. "The only thing he had to do was get out of this city. If not for him our plans wouldn't have been successful. After two months of waiting he finally did and our plans came into action."
"The only thing that remained once again was you," William chuckled, so evil his voice was scaring the crap out of Caleb.
"Then I pretended to be sick and stayed hungry whole day," Janice said as she rounded him. "My son came and as expected he bragged about your cooking. Since I wanted to show him that I was not hungry I objected. But that silly son of mine insisted and..."
"And then he convinced me to make the soup," Caleb gasped, feeling his air supply getting low. "I gave it to a maid and when she brought it you drank some and poisoned the rest of it. You bribed the other maid to say that she saw me with a bottle and then..." He paused, rubbed his tears and sighed. "...you put that bottle in bin."
Victoria gasped and touched her chest. "Good!" She chuckled, looking at William who was also smiling. "Guess you figured it out. You might still be a little intelligent,"
"Yeah," Caleb gulped, his voice trembling. "There is only one thing, the blood, the doctor and..."
"Well the blood was kinda real except for the one in my mouth," She said, looking in the roof. "The one on the floor, my clothes and some parts of my body was real, thanks to William and his family." She said, smiling at William. "I actually got it from the hospital but my mouth had some red substance. They also helped me with some drugs to make me weak and unconscious.
Anyway, William took me to his hospital. The doctor was also a part of our plan and everything he said was fed to him thanks to my money," She smiled, looking at Caleb like she was seducing him. "I offered him millions of dollars and he couldn't deny that. The rest is history. Our plans worked and now you'll be leaving in..." Janice raised her wrist and glanced at her watch. "...in 40 minutes."
She and William were laughing, holding each other like teens who were gossiping. Caleb was hurt, crying and in anguish. Those two were making his heart break. They were really evil.
"What about Drake?" Caleb laughed. "Was he helping you too? Did he..."
"I'll get there," William laughed. "For the grand finale we decided to frame you for trying to steal the wealth. We had the power of attorney papers made in your name and we planted them in your educational certificate." William said as he came closer. "We would have just let him find those papers but where's the fun in that?" He laughed, teasingly rubbing Caleb's tears.
"I felt blessed when I saw that guy you used to play with," William added. "What's his name again, Drake?" He laughed. "I asked for his help and to my surprise the guy was eager to destroy your life. Anyway I told him about the plan and I must say," William raised his hand and raised his thumb. "He's such a great actor. A million dollars was able to make him do anything that we asked."
Caleb closed his eyes as the pain became worse. Of all people that they had to use was it that Drake? The same guy who had almost got him raped because of money in high school? The same guy who he had expelled from school? Fuck! The pain was just too much to bear.
"And now that you've got you goodbye gift," Janice said, gripping his arm so hard. "I think it's time to leave this house forever. I hope you've said your goodbye to Preston."
Caleb sobbed. "He hasn't spoken to me."
"Good!" Janice chuckled. "I spoke to him yesterday and I told him that you have to leave this house. Guess what he told me," She laughed. "That I can do whatever I want with you."
Caleb closed his eyes letting the warm tears flood his face. There was nothing he could do if Preston didn't want him. He opened his eyes and released himself from Janice's grip.
"Don't worry," Caleb sobbed, rubbing the tears from his eyes. "I'll leave this house."
He quickly went to the bed and picked up his bag. He had cried so much and there was nothing that he was going to do. No more crying for Caleb and that was what he promised himself. He rubbed his tears and stood in front of William and Janice.
"Congratulations," He said softly. "You've won. I'm defeated."
He took one final angry look at them and then slowly turned. Without thinking about anything he stormed out of the room and heard them laughing like maniacs.
He got out of the room with more pain than before but he promised himself not to cry. He had no idea how much time he had left in the house but he had to speak to Preston one more time if at all he'd listen.
Caleb quickly headed for Preston' room. He just hoped that Preston was inside the room so that he could tell him something before he left the house. Once he gets out of that door he'll forget about some things and become a new person, stronger and ruthless.
Caleb reached the room and let himself in. He stopped in the door way once he saw Preston seated quietly on the bed. He seemed okay but Caleb could tell that he was furious. He only hoped that he'll be able to listen to him.
Caleb without closing the door quickly went near the bed and stood right in front of Preston. His heart broke but he was determined to say some things to him.
"I need..."
"Please," Preston yelled, furiously standing to his feet. "Just get out of my room and I don't wanna see you."
Caleb sighed. "I know you don't want to talk to me but I'll speak any way. I just wanna say this to you even before I leave. You shouldn't respond just listen."
Preston was furious. He had stopped crying long ago but the pain was too much. Each time he saw Caleb his heart started bleeding. He just wanted him out of his life so he could live a better life.
"I know that you hate me right now," Caleb breathed. "I completely understand you and I know that whatever thing that you felt for me must have melted. Before I go I just wanted to say that I love you a lot. Things might not have turned out the way they were supposed to be but I love you despite your mo..."
"Don't you dare?" Preston snapped, furiously pointing his finger at Caleb. "You're so shameless. Despite trying to kill her you still have the guts to blame her? You don't even have any feeling of remorse. You might have been married to me but I hate you so much and I regret everything that we've ever done together."
Caleb's heart broke to tiny pieces. He felt tears starting to build in his eyes but he suppressed them.
"Everything," Caleb asked, feeling broken. "Including all the nights of..."
"Especially that," Preston yelled. "You used me for your own advantage and you decided to suck me dry. My mother was right, you are nothing but a little gold-digger and I hate you. Right now I wish I hadn't married you. I wouldn't have experienced this type of pain. I just want you out my life."
"You're right," Caleb said. Pain could be heard in his voice. "I'll leave this house just the way I am. I came with nothing and I'll leave with nothing. I love you and..."
"This again," Janice yelled.
Caleb looked and saw her coming furiously towards him. She came in front of him, crossed her arms on her chest, breathed like a beast and looked at him as if she wanted to kill him. What a pretender.
"I've had it," Janice yelled. "I want you to leave this house."
"I just wanna speak to my husband, mo..."
"Don't you dare," Janice warned. "You have hurt all of us and..."
Victoria quickly and painfully gripped his arm. "...you're leaving this house, right now."
Caleb was surprised she was acting like she didn't know what had happened. It was in her blood so he understood her clearly.
"Please, I just..."
"No!" Janice yelled.
She began walking angrily, dragging him out by the arm. Caleb didn't even resist. He followed her as she dragged him but his eyes were on Preston who had his face away from him. Every step drew him further away from his husband.
He was hoping he would be able to do something but the guy just stood there as his mother dragged him out of the house. Couldn't a miracle happen, please? Then they left t
he room and Caleb couldn't see Preston anymore. His hear was shattered and he slowly followed Janice's steps.
Preston' heart was hurting. He felt like it was being dragged together with Caleb. It was pounding in his chest yet he couldn't let go of the fact that Caleb had betrayed him and tried to kill his mother. How could an innocent boy turn out to be so evil? Guess even greed can turn the good people evil.
Whatever he was feeling he found himself rushing out of the room. He was so quick and could hear his mother's angry voice. He ran quickly and got to the stairs were he froze as his mother dragged Caleb down those stairs.
Caleb noticed that the entire family members were already in the living room. All of them had angry faces but he saw that granny was hurt really badly. He could see tears in her beautiful eyes and it brought tears to him too.
"You've cause us enough trouble," Janice yelled, dragging him by the arm. "Leave us so that we can start our life anew."
Caleb looked behind and he caught Preston' eyes. Once he looked in them Preston looked away and Caleb felt a tear on his cheek. He looked away and followed Janice all the way to the door with family members behind them. He was really hurt by it.
Once they reached the door, Janice opened it and threw him outside. He was about to fall but he balanced himself and turned around. He found the family members' eyes on him and he felt a pain in his chest. It was really painful. His eyes then went back inside and saw Preston from afar standing on the staircase.
"I welcomed you into this house," Janice warned, tears forming in her eyes. "And now I'm throwing you out. I seize to be your mother in law and you'll no longer be a son in law of this house. As I'll be closing these doors so shall they remain closed to you?"
Caleb diverted his eyes to Janice and a tear fell to his eyes.
"We'll all forget about you," Janice hollered, touching the door. "These doors shall never open to you ever again. Get out of this house and out of our lives. You were just a bad cloud which we'll get rid of. Goodbye, Caleb Kavanaugh!"
Caleb watched as Janice took the door in her hand, slowly moved it and then shut it in his face. That was it. The doors had finally been closed. He was no longer a son in law of the house. There was nothing to do but start a new life. He looked around the whole house painfully and got out of the compound. Goodbye everyone.

Preston stood on the stairs feeling like a really bad person. Seeing Caleb go felt like a part of him, a huge part had just left. It felt sad to know that he would no longer wake up to feel a warm body by his side, giving morning kisses and making love. Caleb had hurt him, betrayed him, tried to kill his mother and steal his wealth but why was he finding it hard to accept that and let Caleb go?
He felt empty and sad. His life suddenly felt like an empty vacuum. He had loved and cherished Caleb but the guy was just pretending. How could someone so handsome, so sexy, so innocent and so lovely turn out to be so evil? He had been pretending all this while.
Couldn't he have pretended to love Preston for the rest of his life? At least Preston would have lived happily without ever finding out the painful truth about his Caleb. Now he was gone from his life. Guess there is nothing like true love. He thought he had that with Caleb.
He understood since he hadn't known Caleb that long anyway. His heart was on fire, his breaths were violent and he was clenching his fists. He wanted to hurt Caleb for doing this to him? Caleb had left but his memories were still deep.
Preston wanted to cry but he couldn't. Not in front of his family.
He was so drawn into his thoughts that he didn't even hear the footsteps coming up. The only thing he felt was a hand on his shoulder. He looked and saw his mother looking sad. She held him tightly and slowly took him to the living room. She made him sit on the couch while she sat by his side as the rest of his family members came.
"I'm sorry, son," Janice muttered, cupping his cheeks.
"You don't have to apologize," Preston said in a painful voice. "You were right all along. I loved him but he's nothing but a gold-digger."
"He was just a curse to this house," Suzanne said angrily. "I do hope he suffers the rest of his life for doing what he did to you and our family."
Preston looked at his sister and gave her a fake smile that was of pain and anguish.
"He was just a storm," Preston muttered.
"Don't worry," Johnny said softly, sitting by his side. "I'm sure you'll forget about him. You'll be able to move on."
Caroline sighed as she came near. "And to almost think I trusted him." She sighed. "He has disappointed me a lot and I'll never forgive him for it."
"Don't blame yourself, aunt," He muttered. "I also trusted him. But all of you are right, I'll forget about him and I'll move on. In fact, I'll start doing that today."
Talking like that made Preston feel worse. He was trying to forget about Caleb but it was turning out to be impossible. Looking at his grandmother, Preston could see that she was awfully quiet. She didn't even say a word and he saw her heading upstairs.
He had promised his family to move on but it was gonna be harder than he thought? What if his son comes home and asks questions?
*****
For two days Preston couldn't get his mind straight. He stayed in his room thinking and at times crying. George had tried to cheer him up but nothing was working. He wanted to do was stay in his room and grieve for being such a fool.
He held on to Caleb's gold necklace and he wouldn't let go even though he wanted to. It reminded him of the wonderful relationship he had with Caleb.
His family members were getting worried but he couldn't help it. They understood him because what he was going through was just too much.
Who would be better if they found out that what they had believed for so long was a lie? He even got to wonder how his life would have been if he had listened to his mother and married William. He just wanted to die and end it all.
He felt like he had no reason to live anymore. His son usually came to the room and asked about Caleb. Preston had never been so helpless in his life. He kept on lying to his son that his papa would come back home when he knew very well that Caleb was gone.
Those were really painful two days. He barely ate. He barely slept. He barely came out of his room and he was always angry. His headache was doing a number on him and he couldn't stop thinking. If only things would have turned out a little better, they'd have been happy with Gabriel but it was just impossible.
At time he found himself staring at the bed and saw pictures of them making love. He cried most of the time but he was slowly recovering though it was still painful.
On the third day his mother took him out of his room and took him to the living room. Everyone else was happy and his mood brightened up a bit. His son was at school but he at least felt warm with everyone else. They made him smile again but his granny was just quiet. It was obvious she was missing Caleb.
Preston decided to forget about everything and move on. He was not gonna allow Caleb to affect him anymore. He promised never to stay in his room again and weep. Starting the next day he was gonna begins his life anew and do his normal daily work at the office.
"I'm going to work tomorrow," Preston smiled, trying to make everyone see that he was okay.
"Really," George gushed as he rushed towards him with a smile.
"Yes," Preston chuckled. "I feel I have been neglecting my work for something that is not worth it."
Victoria quickly turned once she heard that. She was more than happy that her son had suddenly forgotten about Caleb. She's been happy for three days now. Caleb was nowhere to be seen and she was happy it was gonna stay like that. All she has to do is make William get closer to her son.
"I'm glad you do." Janice smiled. She looked at William and signaled him to do his move.
William moved from the staircase and then with some documents in his hands he began rushing to Janice who was seated near Preston. He had a huge plan and he got near Preston still rushing. He w
as acting as if he was in a hurry.
"Hey, aunt, there is something I...." He tripped on his foot and screamed as he began falling down near Preston. He was really hoping Preston would hold him.
He continued falling and to his surprise, Preston caught him in his arms. William held on to Preston tightly, balancing on him. Then their eyes met and William got caught in those wonderful eyes again. He knew all the eyes were on them and he loved it a lot.
"Are you okay?" Preston asked, holding William tighter.
William smiled brightly. "I think I'm fine now."
William didn't want to let go. He held him tighter and stared deep in his eyes. He was lucky Preston was just holding him without doing anything to stop it. Preston' arms felt so beautiful, sweet and lovely. His heart was racing and his cock was somehow stiffening. He was yearning for Preston' lips.
