  The Smaller Worlds

  Land of the Monsters

  Land of the Monsters

This is where the evil Queen Mary is trapped. When she ruled, anything ugly or monstrous was sent to this small island. This is also where she originates from…

  Characters & Species

Those who reside in the Land of the Monsters (book one only):

Queen Mary (Father’s biological daughter whom he experiments on prior to her becoming a queen)

Lilly (Queen Mary’s mother and also one of Father’s favorite to test his experiments on)

Alex (a young boy, about ten, who is experimented on most by Father)

Father (an evil scientist who adopts children so that he can experiment on them)

The Monsters (Father’s original experiments gone awry)

  The Map & Legend

  Environment:

  1. The Perfume Factory: This is where the story begins. The perfume factory is really Father’s science lab where he experiments on young Mary, Alex, Lily and others.

  2. The Cave of Monsters: Most of Father’s initial creations live here because they are too hideous for the others to look at.

  3. The Forest: This is a forest where the rabid dogs reside.

  4. Gold Bridge: Connects to Merworld

  The Land of Goo

  Land of Goo

This is a land that was once a lush garden with fruit trees, crops, meadows and streams. But, twelve years ago, the land was covered in an orange goo substance that has the ability to drown a person and blocks all things except certain fruits from growing. The goo also emits a scent making the inhabitants forget their past. In order to remember you must submerse yourself into the goo. This is also the only land that connects all three major lands of Gadaie.

  Environment

The goo tastes like orange jello.

There’s gigantic strawberries and bananas deep inside.

  The goo makes you forget
.

  Map & Legend

  1. The New Garden: A mysterious garden arrives after a battle…

  2. The Orange Goo: This goo covers virtually all the land here.

  3. The Graveyard: In a large hole, there are hundreds of bones belonging to those whom Queen Mary was able to kill before being trapped in The Land of the Monsters.

  4. The Wood and Rope Bridge: This is an old, ancient wood plank bridge held together by rotting rope. The bridge leads you out of the Goo and into Candy Loo Land—the last nearly untouched world.

  5. The Red Brick Bridge: A cobblestone path and a red brick barrier on each side, the Red Brick Bridge serves as an entrance to the middle world, No Where Zone.

  6. The Golden Bridge: The Golden Bridge has an iron railing, gold block pathway and a Weeping Willow Tree in its center. This bridge is the entrance to the Muddy Palace Realm.

  THE MISTLANDS

This is an underground world that is not visible from above. The only way to gain access to the Mistlands is through the aircaves. Most inhabitants believe that once you enter the Mistlands you are forever trapped.

The world is enclosed by rocks. No one really knows how someone gets trapped here normally. It is like an enormous cave that has water coming from unexplainable places.

The only way you can see the Mistlands without being trapped is through the aircaves.

  Earth

  The Environment

Earth has grown into a greener planet with a high dependence on technology. People live in communities that reflect the 1950′s but with a futuristic lifestyle dependent on computer programs and robotic creations.
