Aria transported the twelve newly hatched blue dragons to her cavern and their riders and families to the second chamber, suddenly there were fourteen houses in this giant cavern, slowly the families met and exchanged stories, the dragon prince and princess popped in and out between the two areas.
Each rider was introduced to its dragon by Aria one at a time, the living cavern was instantly filled with young blue dragons appearing and disappearing.
At Eagles Rock the first two red dragons hatched, Jokim welcomed them, their riders and families were transported to one of the chambers on the inner wall of the volcano, the young dragons were transported to their rider’s chamber, over the next month eighteen red dragons, two green and four brown hatched and were transported to their respective chambers.
One by one the Elite guard transported into the twelve caverns at the top of the volcano above the royal caverns that waited for Aria and the prince and princess.
Over the next twelve months the young blue dragons and riders were transported into Eagles Rock and the waiting caverns below the Queens, in this time one hundred new dragons had hatched and occupied their caverns, the following twelve months saw two hundred more hatch, it took a further two years for all the eggs to hatch, five hundred dragons now occupied Eagles Rock, a period of training now started that would last sixteen years.
Aria remained hidden in the underground cavern with the prince and princess and their riders, Jokim had also transported back to be with Aria.
Aria had confirmed that every new rider born possessed very strong magic drawing its power from the earth itself, she had to learn how to channel and integrate this new power and train everyone in its use, this she found difficult for the first four years but now had it mastered.
King Gustav sent out patrols of full platoons for two years and found nothing, he then reduced them to eight guards and two wizards and they still found nothing, no trace of the robbers and not a sign of any wolves.
The ripples in the dark magic ceased about three years after the murder of the two patrols, the kings tax collecting patrols reduced to three guards and one wizard again, Daaro questioned the lower revenues from the outlying settlements but the patrols said that the settlements were smaller now, obviously people moved, nothing more was considered.
Sixteen years passed quickly, the hatchlings nearly fully grown, their riders fully trained and as skilful as the old riders.
Aria spoke to the families of the two royal riders then transported them to the royal caverns at eagle rock, this left the royal trio and their riders in the underground cavern, it was time.
