What Reviewers Are Saying About The Royal Nanny (Bad Boy Princes of Malvidence, 2)

The sparks of attraction fly between Leyah and Alastair from their first meeting. While I wouldn’t classify their relationship as “instalove”; it’s definitely “instalust”! Watching Alastair chase Leyah like a predator hunting its favorite prey was fascinating… This was a great read that left me wanting more. If you’re a fan of romantic suspense, The Royal Nanny, is definitely your cup of tea.-YNS 5-stars

Vee wrote a story that is full of mysterious drama and action. I can't wait to see who this mystery man is. Lady Taylor Weshian is still being a gold digging beotch. Somebody needs to put a serious heat down on her and Danorian does too for what he did to Leyla.-Bayoubabe 4-stars

One of the best books of 2018!!!! I actually discovered this author by accident when I found The Royal Secret and it was one of the best accidents ever. The Royal Nanny was exceptionally written and the story and plot keep me glued to my kindle. This book has suspense, intrigue , a hot alpha male and strong and intelligent heroine and a spellbinding love story. It’s the book I know I will still reach for to read again and again for years to come.-Airforce Wife

I really am enjoying this series! I like the suspense. I like the drama and I like the happy endings. I also like getting to see the characters from the other book continued being developed. I like that the stories are separate and interwoven. V. Vee has done an amazing job. I greatly recommend reading this series. They will definitely be on my re-reads list! In joyful anticipation for the next book!-SL Bailey 5-stars

Some books, you are just in a hurry to get to the end and done with it, but sometimes, you find that special one that you just don’t really want to see the end... because it's like saying goodbye to friends. V. Vee's books has that effect on me, the characters, storyline, and the intrigue... oh MY! not to mention that the books are so well written. You can’t help fall in love with the characters, mostly the Princes of Malvidence, a definite page turner! The author has a way with words, that make the book captivating and spellbinding. Can’t wait for the story of Augustus and Helen. Great read folks!-Cammy 5-Stars

After reading A Royal Secret, I was eagerly awaiting the release of this book. It turned out to be so much more than what I expected. It was bittersweet, poignant, grab-you-by-the-feels, emotionally charged, engaging, powerful, sexy, a little bit dangerous, angsty, filled with more twists and turns than a roller coaster, and had me hooked from beginning to end. I can't wait to get my greedy hands on the next book in this awesome series.-Patricia Nelson 5-Stars

"The Bad Boy Princes of Malvidence" is what they are called, and they happily live up to their name. Their Royal Majesties look forward to the day when each of their sons settle down with an acceptable woman of class, education, prestige, breeding, and upbringing.

  Prologue

Augustus turned his head and spit out the blood in his mouth onto the floor. He twisted his jaw side to side to ease the minor ache inflicted by the bitch's fist. He turned his gaze back to her and glared. He was going to kill her. And he was going to enjoy it.

"Uh-uh," a voice came from his right. A voice belonging to an innocent person, someone who didn't deserve to be tied up like he was. Especially not when she'd just gotten free not a short time before. "She belongs to me. I owe that heifer a good beat down."

Looking at her through his one good eye, Prince Augustus Smythe, second born son of the King of Malvidence, the snake, the liar, the cheat, was once again struck by the beauty of the woman who he could honestly say had his back in all things. Even though they were both restrained in that filth room, even though he had bruises, broken bones, and blood running freely from wounds inflicted on him, he could still appreciate her beauty. Still appreciate the fact that Helen Warren, his future wife, was the most beautiful woman in the world. In spite of the bruises that marred her beautiful face and body. Even missing the long, thick, black locks of hair he'd loved to run his fingers through.

He would kill Taylor and Persephone for that, shaving Helen's head and removing her hair, and so much more. Then he would figure out how those two frail women were able to take him hostage. Especially with Danorian gone.

"You're doing it again," Helen's voice came to him again, thin with pain, but fierce with strength and determination.

"Doing what, miora ruĝa?" he asked her, his heart pounding from the love he saw shining in her brown eyes.

"Plotting the death of Taylor and Persephone," she shook her head. "I told you, Taylor's mine, and Persephone belongs to Leyah. Sorry sexy, you're just going to have to wait."

Augustus opened his mouth to respond, only to stop when Taylor let out a high-pitched wail of anger. He rolled his eyes and grimaced. Geez, what was wrong with her?

"Stop talking about me as if I weren't here! You're both so stupid! Can't you see that it's over? I have you both dead to rights. You want to be together so bad? Well, you can die together. It's what you both deserve," she snarled.

Augustus shook his head, he opened his mouth to respond, only to stop when he saw the dark figure step into the doorway behind Taylor.

"That's what you think, bitch," Helen said smugly.

Augustus wasn't sure what surprised him more, that Helen had just used profanity, or when his sister-in-law, "Queen Aa'Leyah Smythe of Waldakan" stepped into the room, swinging her katana, her gaze trained on the wanna-be-Princess Taylor Weshian, or rather, the soon to be former Lady Taylor Weshian.

He smiled at the sound of Taylor's screams as she tried to back away from Leyah and turned to look at Helen.

"I love you," he said. He watched as Helen's gaze softened.

"I love you too," she responded. They continued to watch each other as Leyah pursued a screami
ng Taylor deeper into the room that had been their prison for the past two days.

Augustus would see Helen to safety, then he would go after the man behind it all.

  Lorvaius.

  Chapter One

  Two Years Ago

Prince Augustus Smythe had no desire to be in the fucking United States of America. What with its corrupt government, unceasing racism, overwhelming poverty of most of its citizens, and that orange blob living in the White House. Were it not for his oldest brother, Algerone, and the family he’d hidden from the rest of the family for fourteen years, he wouldn’t even be there. He’d rather be balls deep inside some willing woman’s body than standing inside the home of his newly met sister-in-law, Valerie’s, home watching as his niece, Chiamaka dictated his actions.

“Uncle Auggie, I mean Veshrar Auggie,” Chiamaka chanted, tugging on the hem of his untucked black T-shirt. Augustus looked down at her dark brown, curly hair, streaked with blonde, her caramel face upturned to his, an adorable smile splitting her face.

“Iak, vessrir?” he murmured, his senses alert to the conversations and movement of everyone in the room. Even though there was only family and the royal guards in the house, Augustus knew that not everyone was to be trusted.

“You are going to be the evil monster that tries to catch us, okay?” Chiamaka directed him.

Augustus quirked an eyebrow and folded his massive arms across his barrel chest.

“You are making me the villain?” he asked the tiny girl.

Chiamaka didn’t seem phased by the expression on his face—which was something that Augustus had never experienced before. Everyone, and he did mean everyone was intimidated by his stern face.
