See All Evil Page 6

“I’m not one to go around speculating,” Ronan snapped at him. “I look for proof first, not like your kind, Warlock. But I have a faint inkling as to what you really are, dearest,” he said while giving me a predatory smile that was almost as frightening as the woman from the red room. “And if my suspicions are true, you will prove to be far more amusing than I ever thought possible.”

He turned on his heel and walked back to the door I’d just stumbled out of. “Come on, dear. Time to head to the Academy and discover who you really are.”

The others looked at me expectantly. I glanced at Christian, who nodded at me. “All of us are going this time. And I promise it won’t take you back to that hallway. It’ll transport you straight to the Academy. You’ll be safe.”

Safe? At an Academy filled with all things wicked?

  I doubted it.

Gathering my courage, I walked toward the door and halted in front of it. I stared at the door, swallowing hard.

“What if this monster follows me there? It was never able to leave the nightmare-world before, not until today.” My voice shook, which I hated, but I couldn’t help but be scared. It wasn’t every day that the image conjured from your worst nightmare became reality.

“We’ll protect you.” Alec softly pinched my shoulder.

“Yes.” Christian squeezed my hand for a second, the pleasant warmth of his skin on mine unleashing an army of butterflies in my belly.

“Of course,” Ronan purred, sounding like a cat—the Cheshire cat, because despite what the paintings in the gallery predicting the future had shown me, I didn’t trust him at all.

“We will stick by you and keep you safe,” Tristan promised.

Damian sighed. He didn’t really look pleased that the others were swearing to protect me. “If we must,” was all he said.

Cassie stayed quiet, but I knew she had my back, no matter what.

We were best friends for life, no matter what.

And now I had five more friends. Five smoking-hot guys who had sworn to protect me. Maybe life at the Academy wouldn’t be so bad ater all.

“And I get to come home every weekend?” I asked Cassie.

  She nodded. “Every weekend.”

“Okay then.” I braced myself, opened the door and stepped over the threshold.

To the Academy for the Wicked.

  To my destiny.

Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 virus, I struggled to complete SEE ALL EVIL in time. Only part one was complete, and part two is still being edited/proofed as we speak.

Part two will be released on July 15th, 2020 and is free for everyone who purchased part one. I apologize for not getting this part done in time.

Let me know you purchased part one, and I will send you part two for free! Please email me at [email protected]
