I can’t help spreading a joyful toothy grin. “Don’t forget to tell him what skills you have with your Exstare. Don’t withhold information from them like you did me.”
“Exstare?” Oten asks in his deep voice. “What skill is this?”
Koviye tilts a half smile at me. “Let’s just say, I’m capable of many things involving energy transference. Some terrible, some pleasurable.”
“They’ll probably need a demonstration,” I say, meaning his ability to make explosions and fix things like he did on the communication hub.
He leans down and whispers in my ear, “But certain demonstrations I won’t be sharing with anyone but you, ever again.”
A spot of concern lights in my chest. “Does that bother you?” I’d been putting off asking if he was going to miss his polyamorous lifestyle. My possessive dominaq, as he calls it, purrs in my chest. I can’t help it.
“Easy, my love.” He presses a calming hand to my sternum. “I would have it no other way.”
He places a delicate kiss to my cheek and whispers in my ear the kinds of things he tells me hourly, the same things he swears he’ll tell me every day for the rest his life. “You are more than I will ever need to my dying breath. Every touch of your hands, every kiss of your lips, every time I come inside you, I am made new and lose my heart to you all over again.” His hands move over me in a possessive way that is not appropriate for anyone else to be seeing, let alone Nemona and Oten. “And you are mine,” he growls, losing control of himself. “You belong to me as I belong to you.”
The territorial animal in me surges and demands to have him inside me again, to own him. “For someone raised knowing nothing about monogamy, you’re getting good at this love declaration thing.”
“I was born for you,” he murmurs against my skin. “The gods intended me for you. I’m more certain of it every day.”
I shiver and go weak against him. His words have become as undoing as his orgasms, which, considering how extra-terrestrial those are, is saying something.
He notices the unquenchable lust in my eyes and says to Oten and Nemona, “You’ll have to excuse us. We need some privacy.”
I don’t wait for their response. I pull him out the door, down the halls, and run until we’re back to our private quarters. Once locked inside, I force him against a wall and kiss him like I haven’t had him a dozen times already today, and four times as many yesterday.
He fills my mouth, floods me with his Exstare, and it’s so much pleasure, but somehow never enough.
