Evan is torn between love and honor, wanting to free Aletris, but not being willing to let go of his soulmate, Lark. In desperation he goes to his alpha for help, and together they come up with a way to get her out of harm's way and protect the park. Evan only wants to be with Lark, but he can't abandon Aletris, who's waiting for him to rescue her. One way or another, Evan will make good on his promise to free the female wolf, but he's not willing to give up his soulmate in the process.
