Breathe Page 20

by N. M. Catalano

Raven throws her head back, spine arched, and screams as she grips me. The tremors and pulses from her climax pull me deeper inside her as I rub my palm over her swollen nub.

  “Oh God,” she moans.

I laugh quietly as my cock leaks precum and I take my thumb from her ass.

  “So the three of you…”

I grab her hips and turn her over. When I bury my dick in her, I need to see her face.

“The three of us are in a relationship,” that still amazes me when I say it. Guiding her back up the bed, I close a nipple in my mouth. “But now you’re here, too…,” I flick the hardened point with my tongue.

She moans a long slow sigh.

Positioning my face between her legs, I trace her clit with the tip of my tongue, then take a long swipe over her slit. “This pussy should be devoured every day, demon.” I fuck her with my tongue, deep and slow. She takes handfuls of my hair. “Imagine it,” I murmur with my face buried in cunt, “two mouths sucking you, two cocks filling you,” I suck her nub into my mouth, “Would you like that?” She’s so fucking wet, it’s covering my entire face. Sliding two fingers inside her, I find that magic spot and rub it with the pads of my fingers. Her back comes off the bed as she pulls hard on my hair. “Answer me, demon. Would,” rub, “you,” again, “like that?”

  “Yes!” she screams.

“Good,” I suck her clit between my lips again, pull off and let it loose until it escapes on a pop. Moving up her body, I position myself on top of her, the tip of my dick at her entrance. I know I should put on a condom, but fuck it, I might be dead tomorrow anyway, what the fuck does it matter? Better to die not having any ‘What ifs’ hanging over my head. “I want you to look at me when I fuck you, demon, I need to see you.” I whisper with her face clutched in my hands, holding her gaze. I lower myself until our heartbeats are pressed against each other, our blood smeared on our flesh kissing each other, and I slide my length into her tightness. My balls pull taut just from being inside her heat. “Hell is all your desires fulfilled,” I whisper with a glide of my tongue over her lips. “If this is hell, demon,” I nip her lip with my teeth as I slide out and push into her again, “it knows exactly what mine are.”

Her eyes widen as she sucks in a breath.

I don’t know what the fuck is spilling from my mouth, but I guess when a man thinks his time is about up, not a goddamn thing matters anymore.

Her arms encircle me again and she holds on to me like her life depends on it.

  It kind of does.

I get lost in her, I fuck her and take her, I kiss her and ravish the fuck out of her. I don’t stop even after my cum fills her, I don’t give a fuck about that either, (I suppose she would have told me not to if it was a problem). I keep going until she screams two more times. And then I fuck her some more.

Because it might be the last time.

  CHAPTER 22

  Raven

  What. The fuck. Happened?

  Seriously. What the hell happened?

Snake was a tornado, fierce, controlled, powerful. He consumed me, sucked me in with that sunshine, ripped me to shreds and wrecked me. When he finally let me go, I was nothing but a pile of rubble, a singed, smoking pile of ash. But when I emerged from that wreckage, I had never felt so peaceful. I felt clean and unburdened. I felt purged.

It wasn’t just the sex. Absolutely, the sex was phenomenal. But THAT was not sex.

He touched me with reverence and adoration, he was giving but he was taking from me as well. But it’s what he took from me, and he used my body to do it.

It was more than the confession that I killed Sarcucci, the man in the suit, and Phil. He accepted my demons and secrets, he demanded them and tore them from me. And he accepted them, accepted me, without judgement. He saw me, all of me, my darkness and madness, my terrors and nightmares, and took me to a place where I was finally freed. He knew most of my problems when he came for me, and when the Steel Brothers president flung the skeletons from my past at my feet, Snake didn’t flinch. Snake stood by my side and sneered at him.

  He didn’t abandon me.

He’s not abandoning me now and leaving me to get torn apart by the wolves.

“Come on, hellion, we’ve got things we need to talk to the others about.”

Snake emerges from our bathroom all fresh and clean and smelling like the ocean.

  He’s too fucking perfect.

I want to crawl in hole. I’m on such unfamiliar ground, I’m not sure I can function. This whole situation is messing with my head. He’s too good, they’re all too good.

They’ve got their own problems, a whole boiling cauldron cluster fuck of problems, and they took on mine as well. Granted, I automatically am the proud owner of theirs too, but they’ve got one guy, (one of the meanest mother fuckers I’ve ever had the displeasure of crossing paths with), and I’ve got a whole MC club to deal with. As it turns out, that same club is back at their home base protecting their interest. Thanks to me, probably not for long.

I drop my face into my hands and mumble, “You go, I’ll stay here.” And wallow in self-pity.

“You’re not allowed to.” He slips a finger under my chin, those same fingers that were pushing all of my magic buttons I never knew I had, and tilts my face up. “It’s time to talk about maybe fucking up some bad guys.” He gives me his killer smile and winks at me. “Your psycho demon is going to play with Mr. Hyde, hellion. Let’s go.”

Fucking shit up with him? That I can do.

“Why didn’t you say so in the first place,” I grin back at him.

“That’s my girl,” he extends a hand. I place mine in his and let him lead me out of the room.

Rock, Summer and Gringo are waiting for us in the living room. On my right, the door to the adjacent room is open, which must be Gringo’s room. Inside I see a telescope at the window overlooking the parking lot. The curtains are drawn and there’s a rifle standing on the floor leaning against the wall with a silencer attached. There are pizza boxes and coffee cups sitting on the table next to a handgun and big fucking bowie knife.

Psycho demon wants to go and have a closer look.

With a hand on my back, Snake leads me further in. Summer pats the space on the couch next to her and smiles at me. She looks so calm considering it appears shit’s about to get real. I take the seat she offers as Snake lowers himself on the sofa next to me. Rock and Gringo are already seated in the two armchairs facing us.

I’d be a lying bitch if I denied I’m imagining these two big sexy, intimidating men fucking her and each other. And me as well. The images send a jolt of arousal through me and makes me sweat.

The conversation halts until we’ve settled.

Rock’s eyes move from me to Snake. “How much does she know?” he cuts right to the chase.

“Everything except the other two,” Snake answers as he leans back and rests an ankle on a knee.

  Other two? There’s something else.

He’s always so damn collected, even when he’s hiding something.

My gaze flicks back and forth from each of the men. Rock’s and Gringo’s eyes are on me, hard and angry. The scrutiny is beginning to get on my nerves.

“Look,” I begin defensively. “I didn’t ask to be here, or be brought here…”

“Snake told us. He had to,” Rock cuts me off.

Suddenly I feel raw, stripped, and vulnerable.

“We want you to know,” Gringo takes over the conversation, “we got you. Don’t worry.”

The air seizes in my lungs, my throat closes up, and my vision begins to blur.

Am I starting to cry? I never fucking cry, I don’t do that shit.

“Whatever,” I mumble as I drop my gaze to my lap.

I don’t know what to say, I’ve never been in this position before, I’ve never been part of a group before, I’ve never had anyone care before. The ground beneath my feet is definitely throwing me around, I need to get my shit together.

&nb
sp; “Tell her,” Rock says.

I hear Snake take a deep breath. Uh, oh. Here it comes, what he’s been keeping from me. I have a feeling whatever’s he’s going to say I’m not going to like.

“Summer,” he begins. I feel Summer raise an arm and rest it on the couch behind me. Snake does the same thing. They’re touching. “Hawk was contracted to bring Summer back to her family…”

“Let me tell it,” Summer interjects. My eyes turn to her, and hers are already on my face. There isn’t a trace of apprehension or fear, no distrust or malice. I know she’s about to tell me her own horror story, and she’s okay with it. “My father is a very rich man. He started this…thing, The Club. It’s kind of a community for the elite. Membership is in the hundreds of thousands and they have people all over the world. Well, my purpose in The Club was to be a gift for the one person, or people, who could bring The Club to the next level. My whole life I’d been groomed and trained to fulfill my position. I was part of an arrangement, I was to be married to the son of a man, a gift, in exchange for his connections. My father-in-law trained me since I was thirteen, along with anyone else he thought would polish me for my position.” She takes a breath. I’m in shock as I continue to listen to her story. “I ran away, I hated that life and wanted more. I didn’t want my life’s purpose to only be someone’s whore so that my father could get richer and more powerful.” She turns to Rock and smiles, it’s full of so much love, it makes my heart hurt. “When I ran, I ran into him,” she says staring at Rock. She turns and smiles at Snake, then Gringo. “The irony of it all is they’d been hired by my father to bring me back.” Her eyes meet mine again. There’s no shame on her face, no fear of what might happen. She appears content and safe. She looks really happy. “They found me alright. It was too late by then,” she laughs softly.

This woman who appears to have grown up with everything, who’s polished and educated, lived a life so much like my own, it infuriates me. I want to stab those son-of-a-bitches in the throat just like I did to the man in the suit. But at the same time, I want to wrap my arms around her and hug her.

She knows. She understands. As horrible as it is, she lived it.

  My heart melts.

“She was already mine,” Rock’s deep voice adds.

“We’re her family, and we take care of own,” Snake finishes, eyeing me intently.

I can feel everything he’s saying without any words. All the unsaid things reach down my throat and squeeze my heart. He’s offering me the same security Summer has, opening a place for me within their family, maybe not the same as Summer’s, but one none the less.

“It seems daddy and little pussy boy weren’t too happy about getting their asses handed to them so they called in a few more dogs to come and get her,” Gringo states tightly.

Gringo has dark circles under his eyes, overlong scruff on his face, and a head full of wild hair. He looks like shit.

“She said her father hired you,” I’m talking to Snake. “Who do you work for?”

I’m not stupid. He knows it. They’re much more than street guns for hire. Everything in the adjoining room, what must be Gringo’s room, proves it.

Snake glances at Rock and he gives him a slight nod. Snake turns back to me. “We work for an organization which technically doesn’t exist, The Program. They hire soldiers when a job needs to be done discreetly by any means possible.”

They’re hitmen, mercenaries. They’re nightmares in the flesh.

“Most of us are former military. That’s where the four of us met.”

“Four? Hawk?” I question as I glance at the faces around the room.

“No, Bull is the fourth in our group, he’s home. That’s who Prez was talking about, and the others there as well,” there’s a flash of fury in Snake’s eyes.

“Others?” my eyes go wide. There’s a lot of information to take in.

“We’ll get to that later. Right now, we need to focus on what’s happening here,” Snake gets back to business. “As I mentioned, soldiers in The Program are hired to complete a mission discreetly by any means necessary. This one is to retrieve Summer and return her to her father. When we were contracted, we didn’t do that. They know she now belongs to us. So they’ve hired others to do the job. To them we’ve gone rogue, therefore, they will eliminate anything that impedes the successful completion of the mission.”

Snake’s words hang heavy in the air like a gas cloud threatening to choke me if a dared to breathe.

“Hawk received one of the other contracts,” his gaze pierces mine. “But there are two more we know about, possibly a third.”

Time seems to freeze for a moment while no one says anything. The impact of Snake’s news hits me.

There are three contracts. To kill all of them. Except Summer. Now me too.

“The other day with Hawk, he seemed to be on your side,” I manage to push out.

“Hawk’s a bit rogue himself, always has been,” Rock comments as he drums his fingertips on the arm of the chair. “He’s one of The Program’s deadliest weapons. But he’s walked away from a mission before. We believe he’s going to walk away from this one.”

“Why?” I narrow my eyes at him.

From the limited encounters I’ve had with Hawk, I don’t doubt a word Rock’s saying. The man’s got ice in his veins.

“Because he warned us about his contract. Reached out to us to set up a meeting,” Gringo answers.

“Why would he do that?” that’s hard to believe from the beast I met.

Gringo lets out a sarcastic laugh, “Who the fuck knows why Hawk does anything he does.”

“It was because he loves my irresistible personality,” Snake gives my shoulder a squeeze.

Dr. Jekyll is back. I roll my eyes. Immediately, the mood in the room shifts from the choking tension to some friends shooting the shit.

“Despite what you might think about people like us…,” Rock has his laser sharp gaze fixed on me, “we feel his decision has to do with those things called morals and principles. The same reasons why you’re here.”

My head is swimming with everything that’s being thrown at me.

On one side, I’m the victim, the one who’s being hunted. On the other side, I’m the problem, the reason for some of their problems. And finally, I’m the same, someone like them, my hands are just as dirty, my soul just as tarnished. I’m bad. Maybe worse than they are because I was going to use Snake, use all of them, to save my ass and walk away smelling like roses. I wasn’t going to give a second thought to the bag of shit I was going to leave them holding.

Maybe I’m worse because that had no morals or principles.

  CHAPTER 23

  Snake

My hellion is one incredible woman. Any other would have run screaming when she found out that the people she’s with have killers after them. Who else would have stood up to an evil son-of-a-bitch like the president of the Steel Brothers, take down one of his soldiers by herself, and come out holding the golden egg? The Queen Of fucking Hell, my hellion, my psycho demon.

  She’s mine.

At least for today, for right now.

She’s mine, and after we finish with business, I’m going to make it official.

“What’s the word from Bull?” I ask Gringo.

Those two are tight. We’re all tight, but Bull and Gringo have always seemed to congregate together, like with the whole Sasha thing. At the time, Rock had told him to nip that shit in the bud, we didn’t need the heat of all of us banging a married woman who was high profile in our little town. Gringo didn’t stop, it was a five alarm affair by that point, and Bull was right there with him stuffing her full of cock. If that’s what a woman wants, that’s what she gets, it’s all about her pleasure. Obviously what Gringo and Sasha have is more than physical. Look at him, he’s ready to snap with what’s happening with her, the complaints about her husband sound very strange, even I have to admit.

He digs the heels of his palms into his tired,
bloodshot eyes.

Even though he’s strung tight emotionally, I have every confidence nothing will interfere when it’s time to go to war. The dude’s dark, nothing can stop him.

“Bull says the bikers are grumbling, says he knows something’s gotten back to them. But all the pussy the horny housewives are throwing at them are keeping them complacent. Nothing’s changed, but it is tense,” he answers roughly.

A pang of guilt stabs me. As I look around at my family, the people who mean everything to me, I make up my mind.

  This stops now.

“Good, we have a little time,” I feed them a line of crap, something to let them breathe easier a little while longer.

We all know things are about to get serious.

They don’t need to know it’s going to be sooner than they anticipated. They’re not going to.

There’s only one more thing I need to take care of. Then I’ll be content. Raven needs to know her place with us.

“It seems that way,” Rock’s eyeing me from his chair.

It’s as if the fucker can read my mind, I can’t hide anything from him.

  Let him read this.

Staring right back at him, a slow smile lifts the corners of my lips. “We done here?”

He flips me off. And fucking smirks. “Unless Raven or Summer have any more questions, we are.”

“Bring it,” I grin at him. To the ladies, I say, “Is there anything else before we move to the other room?”

A flush spreads across Summer’s face as she pulls her lower lip between her teeth. Rock, Summer, and I turn our gaze to Raven. We know the instant realization dawns on her. Her eyes go wide and her lips separate. I know what she’s thinking; it’s the same thing I am, the words I told her before are echoing inside her head: Two mouths sucking you, two cocks filling you.
