He reached out and crushed her to him.

Joel looked concerned and went to take a step forward to protect his daughter but Judge grabbed the back of his shirt and wouldn’t let him move. Joel swung his head around to glare at his friend.

Judge shook his head. “She is the only safe person in this room right now. He won’t hurt her, but I’m not so sure about you if you get between them at this moment.”

Deter shook his head. “I’ve seen him tear a man apart with his bare hands when he is like this. I have never seen this calming reaction before. Vatali is a fortunate man right now.” He turned cold eyes to Joel. “Do not ever come between him and Frankie or me and Galen. I would not want to be the one to kill you. Viktor and me, we will give your daughters everything we’ve got and then some.”

Joel stood there and stared at Deter for a moment. Then he nodded. “I can deal with that as long as you treat them right, but don’t you and Viktor try to step between me and them either. Fair enough?”

  Deter nodded. “Fair enough.”

An hour later, the men along with Frankie made their way to their rooms. When she stumbled, Viktor picked her up and carried her the rest of the way. She laid her head on his chest and found his heartbeat. The pounding inside his chest soothed her ragged emotions.

When they entered their room, Viktor kicked the door shut and locked it without letting her go. Then he carried her straight to the bathroom where he stood her up and went to start the shower. He quietly stripped off her clothing and then his. All without saying a word to her.

When he wouldn’t speak to her, it hurt and Frankie felt that hurt deep down inside her soul. She let the warm water bathe her body and she let the tears fall from her eyes. She felt like she was dying inside.

Viktor knew he had to say something to her but he was so choked with emotion, he’d never felt like this before he couldn’t get the words to come out. Instead, he let his hands do the talking for him. He pulled her gently into his arms and let her feel his wet skin against hers. His hands roamed her back then slipped around to her front. His mouth began spreading tiny kisses on her bare neck and shoulders as his hands moved up to cup her breasts. His fingers went to her perky nipples as he played with them then his hands grew hard around her breasts and he squeezed them, pulling and pinching her hard buttons. Frankie gasped, as she grew aroused, although her left breast was tender where Averin bruised her. Then one of Viktor’s hands slipped down along her belly to her core. She widened her stance and he delved right in for her clit. She could feel his cock behind her. It was hard and pressing between her ass cheeks.

Frankie groaned and began shifting her hips. She could feel his mouth doing more now than tiny kisses. He was sucking and biting her neck and shoulders as Frankie was getting wet from the tiny jolts of pain his teeth caused her to feel.

“I can’t wait any longer.” He growled in her ear. “I want you too badly right now.”

Frankie nodded her consent and when she did, he turned her and braced her hands against the tiled wall. Without further ado, he slammed his cock deep into her core. Again and again, he plunged into her. Frankie felt each stroke and she was melting inside. All she could feel was him. Nothing else mattered in this moment of time.

Her orgasm hit her unaware and she erupted into an orgasm without warning. Viktor felt her coming and he thrust into her tight m clenching pussy once, twice and again for the third time before he climaxed. For a moment, neither of them could move.

Then Viktor slowly stepped back bringing her with him. She was weak in his arms and together, they slid to the floor of the shower. Frankie sat on his lap with her head resting on his chest.

“I love you little one,” Viktor told her in a low voice. “Vsegda... Always.... Forever.”

Frankie looked up at him startled. “You do?”

Viktor nodded. “Of course I do.”

Frankie searched his face for the truth and found it in his eyes. She couldn’t keep his gaze but Viktor wouldn’t let her look away from him. “What’s wrong?” he asked.

“I thought maybe you would look at me differently after what happened with Averin. I mean I killed him,” she mumbled hoarsely.

Viktor’s head rested against the tiles behind him. “I must admit that was a surprise I never expected but I was very proud of you tonight.”

“Proud of me?” She squeaked. “Why were you proud of me? I killed a man.”

Viktor looked down at her. “Yes, I was proud of you. Your father taught you to protect yourself and you remembered his instructions. You found the strength inside you to put into play what he taught you. You defended yourself and the rest of us tonight and that makes me very proud to be your man. Averin had nothing but death in his soul for anyone in his path. He would have killed us all if you hadn’t done what you did. Now the only one dead is him.”

“Do you really think that?” she asked in a whisper.

“Da, Malen’kiy, I read that in his eyes when he held that fucking gun to your head,” Viktor told her with a growl in his voice. “He was like a wounded bear tonight and he wouldn’t have hesitated to shoot us all if he’d gotten the chance. He knew in his heart that it was him or us and when a man knows that, he will fight for his very existence. You fought through your fear and got the better of him.”

“I saw my dad tapping the commands on his thigh. That was him telling me what to do but it made me concentrate on the lesson he taught us both.”

Viktor chuckled. “Maybe I should warn Deter what might happen if he ever pisses your sister off.”

“She would never use self defense against someone who wasn’t threatening her life,” she assured him seriously.

“I think the big guy has figured that out already if I’m not mistaken.” Viktor nodded as he smiled.

“I was afraid you would look at me differently. I was afraid I would lose you tonight. I couldn’t bear the thought of losing you.”

Viktor pulled her to him and held her tightly. “That will never happen little girl. You belong to me and me alone. I will never turn my back on you for any reason.” He kissed her forehead gently and urged her to her feet. “But the water is cold now and you need to sleep. Tomorrow you can meet your new sister properly and begin a new chapter in your life.”

“About that...” Frankie looked at him. “I might want to take a new path in my studies, would you have a problem with that?”

Viktor smiled. “Not at all. I am thinking that perhaps we should begin looking for a place to call ours though.”

“You mean you’re staying here, in this country?”

“I am Bratva, I will continue working through them but we have a job to finish and tracking down Averin’s businesses will take some time. We can live anywhere you like but I think I would like to stick around this area. Your family will settle here and we can use this area as a base. Yuri has already offered us a place here, if we choose to stay.”

Frankie jumped into his arms and smiled. “I think I’d like that very much!”

Viktor’s mouth crushed hers and he literally took her breath away. When he broke the kiss, they were both out of breath. Then he whispered four little words, “Tak tomu i byt.”

Frankie tilted her head at him in askance.

He smiled. “Then so be it.”

  About K. J. Dahlen

Author of the bestselling, award winning Bratva Brothers and Satan Spawns MC Series...

I live in a small town (population495) in Wisconsin. From my deck, I can see the Mississippi River on one side and the bluffs, where eagles live and nest on the other side. I live
with my husband Dave and dog Buddy. My two children are grown and I have two grandchildren. I love to watch people and that has helped me with my writing. I often use people I watch as characters in my books and I always try to give my characters some of my own values and habits.

I love to create characters and put them in a troubling situation then sit back and let them do all the work. My characters surprise even me at times. At some point in the book, they take on a life of their own and the twists and turns they create becomes the story. Of all the stories, I could write I found I like mystery/thrillers the best. I like to keep my readers guessing until the very end of the book.
