“This is our Pearl.”
“Yes, she is. So precious,” Jasper kissed his wife before placing soft kiss on their baby’s cheek.

“Daddy!” Pearl’s loud voice jerked him to present. She looked at him with undivided attention. Kara was resting her head on couch, but her attention was on father-daughter duo.
“What is it, princess?”
“I wanntt a owul, like Hawrry” he spoke in broken English. She was fascinated with birds’ pictures and she watched Harry potter movies, and made her parents to replay the scenes of owls again and again.
“An owl, baby.”
“Yes, owel,” she looked at him with wide eyes.
“Why would I buy a new owl when I already have one!” he talked to her animatedly, and she always loved it. For her, talking animatedly meant serious talk.
“Reawlly,” she blinked her eyes at him with surprise.
“Yes! And that little, cute owl is you!!,” he tickled her and she scooted away from his hand with loud laughs.
“Na Daddy! I’m your pwincess,” she opened her arms for the signal to give her a big bear hug.
He carried her to his lap and hugged her tenderly, and his eyes met smiling Kara who just clicked a photo of them.
EPILOGUE 2
FEW MONTHS LATER
“Pearl, honey. Come here,” Kara called her daughter who was busy glaring at her uncle Noah.
” Go munchkin, your mom is calling,” he smiled sweetly at her, pinching her chubby cheeks gently.
“You stwy hewere,” she pointed a finger at him.
“I’m glued to this couch,” he raised his hands in surrender.
Kara sat on the chair and put pearl in her lap, “baby, I’m going out for shopping for your birthday, and you’ll be good girl to your uncle Noah. Okay?”
“Oktay, mommy. Mommy,” she looked at Kara expectantly.
“Yes honey pie,” Kara asked smiling while tucking pearl’s silky hair behind her ears.
“You buy ouwls for me, and oloff,” she was fascinated with owls, and Oloff from Frozen movies.
“I’ll see if I could find oloff, and your daddy will be home soon. Okay?”
“Okay mommy. I wouw you,” pearl opened her arms for hug from her mom. Kara hugged her little angel with so much love and kissed her head.
“I love too, my heart,” Kara replied her baby.
Then Kara thanked Noah for babysitting her on short notice, and he was more than happy to spend some time with his niece.
Pearl’s third birthday was approaching, and so much shopping was pending. So Kara had this day off for the shopping. Jasper asked her to shop for her but she refused saying that he’d scratch his brain out while finding all the items which Pearl had asked for, and also, he’d be confused between baby pink and fuchsia shade dresses.
Jasper had to agree because he was clueless about girly stuff.
When Kara left, pearl ran to Noah and glared at him again.
He sighed and rested his face in one hand while looking at her, “why are you glaring at me, munchkin?”
“You stepteed on my dolly,” she showed him her Barbie doll.
“Oh! That was mistake, sugar. I’m sorry, dolly,” he apologized and cringed inward. Noah never imagined that he’d be talking to toys much less pink dolls. He was 22 years old professional football player. If media got hold of this, his manly reputation was going to be ruined. But on the other hand, he was happy to ruin his reputation for his niece. He loved this little ball of energy.
“It is otay, uncle Foxy,” she smiled sweetly at him.
“You’re still mad at me,” he stated.
“Yup!” she said popping P which she learned from TV.
Pearl clung to his legs, standing on tiptoes, a signal for others to put her on sofa or other higher places.
He wobbly feet made her giggle, and she fisted Noah’s shirt in her hands. And then she encircled her arms around his neck and tried to climb him, just like the way he used to do with Jasper.
But little pearl was more savage, she also pulled his hair during her adventure.
“Auuuhhhhh!! Ahhh!!,” Noah screamed in discomfort when Jasper entered the house. And Pearl’s attention went to Jasper, hands still in Noah’s hair, and one little bended leg on his chest under his chin.
“Daddy!” she squealed in happiness seeing Jasper, but her excitement made her clutch Noah’s hair tighter.
Noah groaned loudly, trying to free himself from this little cute devil.
Jasper laughed at the scene in front of him and went to take Pearl in his arms. He hugged his baby and kissed on her cheeks. She giggled and kissed him back.
“I wouw you, daddy,” her bright blue eyes shone with love.
“I love you too, my little bug,” he carried her to kitchen before ruffling Noah’s hair, and earned annoyed groan from him.
Noah was about to get up from the couch when Jasper spoke, “don’t you dare to go. You have a job to do.”
“But you are home, I can go now,” he reasoned. Jasper took his food out and put in oven to heat.
“No, you can’t,” Noah slumped, knowing that Jasper was going to enjoy his time seeing Pearl having field day with him.
Pearl ran towards Noah when Jasper put her down. She again resumed her task to climb her uncle Noah.
Jasper took his plate to living room and started eating. He didn’t have to turn on the TV as full on entertainment was going on.
“She is definitely your blood,” Noah spoke in between Pearl’s assaults on his upper body.
“Of course, she is. Now you’re getting the taste of your medicine,” Jasper shrugged at him.
“Thank god! You have only one kid,” Noah shuddered at the thought of more of Jasper’s children who decided to make him their toy.
“Don’t thank so soon,” Jasper smirked at him.
“What do you mean?” Noah looked at him confused. “Oh my God! Kara is pregnant.” His eyes widened when he realized what Jasper meant.
“You’re going to be an uncle again,” Jasper gave him full blown smile.
“Congratulations man! And my hair is doomed,” he laughed. Noah was happy for his brother and sister in law. They deserved all the happiness in the world after what they went through.
By this time, it seemed Pearl got tired and she slumped her head on Noah’s shoulder, and hugged her uncle. He looked lovingly at the little bundle of joy and gathered her in his arms in comfortable position. And she was asleep.
Noah rested the back of sofa, “is Amelia really going to Oxford?” he asked Jasper.
“Yes.”
“Why?”
“She wants to take some time off from this city, I guess. And she got this really amazing opportunity in form of foreign exchange student program.”
Amelia got admission in Yale University under MBA but she wanted to explore the world on her own and decided to start it from Britain. She got accepted under student transfer program and she decided to join Oxford. Noah and Amelia developed a strange kind of relationship between them and they always liked to bicker with each other. Sometimes playing pranks and annoying each other out of boredom. And Noah was going to miss her. He didn’t know why, but he was sure she had special place in his life, or rather in his heart.

After seven months, Carson Black, was born, and Jasper and Kara had another reason to smile in their life. Pearl was the happiest elder sister; she adored her baby brother who got his mother’s green eyes and nose. Rest of his features were similar to Jasper.
Noah’s hair was really doomed because Carson fisted them in his tiny hands when Noah carried him for the first time some hours after his birth. Actually, he bent down to kiss his nephew but his long hair made their way to his face before his lips could reach. Carson felt ticked and he clutched his hair. Smiling widely, Noah kissed his nephew. And ever body laughed.
“My kids are going to take the revenge,”
Jasper shouted laughingly.
Kara hit him playfully on chest and he smiled at his wife before kissing her.
“I love you,” he said.
“I love you too,” Kara replied and rested her head on her husband’s chest.
