“I’d rather spend the day naked with you. I’m quite enjoying all this hanging out without clothes.”
“I guarantee we’ll end the day much like we started it.”
He hummed an appreciative noise as I turned on the water to get it hot, and he got towels ready for when we were done.
One of the highlights of the past year was Austin winning me. Those first couple months were a roller coaster, but I wouldn’t trade the rest of the year for anything because it set up an excellent future.
Thanks for Reading!
But wait, there’s more!
Remember in Chapter 16 where Austin said he’d always wanted to go to someplace like Provincetown?
They do just that in Kyle & Austin’s Provincetown Vacation. Click on the link (or type JeffAndWill.com/KyleExtra), leave your email address and I’ll send you the free short story.
Acknowledgments
Susan, thanks so much for coming up with the idea for a shared bachelor auction universe. And, RJ and V.L., thanks for thinking of me and for the invite come play along. I had a wonderful time creating Hockey Allies Bachelor Bid universe world alongside Chantal and the three of you. Extra thanks to RJ for allowing Garrett to be Kyle’s best friend. I had a great time brainstorming with her about their long friendship.
Meredith, thank you for the stunning cover.
Kiki, I’m so glad I found you to be my editor. I loved working with you on this book and look forward to doing it again soon.
Jen Walter participated in a Facebook takeover I did in the MM Hockey Romance group, and she suggested the name Arsenal for Kyle’s team. There were many great names thrown out, but Arsenal was the one. Thanks, Jen! (And, hey, if you’re reading this and you’re not in the MM Hockey Romance group, come join us!)
I wrote this book while I was a student in Rachael Herron’s 90 Days to Done online course. I learned some great stuff during those twelve weeks to hone my craft. Thanks to Rachael and my classmates for being amazing. I loved working alongside you all as you wrote your own books (which I can’t wait to read). They, along with my husband Will, helped me figure out some key events in the fourth act of Keeping Kyle, and I’m grateful to them!
Most importantly, thank you for reading. I hope you enjoyed Kyle and Austin’s story!

About the Author
Jeff Adams has written stories since he was in middle school and became a published author in 2009 when his first short stories were published. He writes both gay romance and LGBTQ+ young adult fiction…and there’s usually a hockey player at the center of the story.
Jeff lives in central California with his husband of more than twenty years, Will. Some of his favorite things include the musicals Rent and [title of show], the Detroit Red Wings and Pittsburgh Penguins hockey teams, and the reality TV competition So You Think You Can Dance. He, of course, loves to read, but there isn’t enough space to list out his favorite books.
Jeff and Will are also podcasters. The Big Gay Fiction Podcast is a weekly show devoted to gay romance as well as pop culture. New episodes come out every Monday at BigGayFictionPodcast.com. The Big Gay Author Podcast chronicles their journey to become full time authors. New episodes drop Saturdays at BigGayAuthorPodcast.com.
