“No?” Tanner chuckled, the sound cold and evil much like the man holding me. “Are you sure about that?” His hand moved to my stomach, sliding up to just beneath my left breast. “I know your boys are smart. They wouldn’t want to start a war. And they would also let me do anything to you as long as that never happened. You know I’m right.”

While Tanner spoke, I kept my eyes on Sunny and Shade. Both of them looked like they were holding themselves back from charging for Tanner. But he was right. If they did anything stupid, Tanner’s men could shoot them, and I didn’t want that. So instead, I stood there and waited.

  (Shade)

I was brought back to my first experience with a guy who never took no for an answer. He touched me in places I had longed to be touched but never by him. I had thought I wanted it at first, but he had moved too fast for me. After that night, I swore off men completely until Sunny finally started opening up to me. But now, watching Tanner touch Meadow, something that didn’t belong to him, red clouded my vision.

Sunny shifted from foot to foot beside me. The air became thick between us.

Meadow’s eyes pleaded for us to save her but with the guns at our backs, there was nothing we could do but wait.

“What do you want?” Sunny demanded, taking a step toward them.

Tanner smirked, whispering in Meadow’s ear.

Her eyes widened even more but her mouth remained closed. She didn’t utter a single word which pissed me off even more. She always said what was on her mind. No matter who was involved. And she never let Tanner know in the beginning that he scared her but now, that fear rolled off her in waves.

“We have to do something,” I muttered.

  “I know,” Sunny growled.

  Both of us watched them.

We were helpless. Absolutely utterly fucking helpless. With another man’s hands on Meadow, I knew that this could possibly hurt her in ways that Sunny and I weren’t prepared for. She already had issues with another man trying to take from her what she never consented to, but this was somehow…worse.

“I’ll call my mom,” Meadow finally said, her voice rough like she had just gargled with broken glass.

Tanner kept his arm around her waist and handed her a phone. “I don’t suggest doing anything stupid. My boys have been itching for blood for a while now. I’d hate to see them take that out on Sunny and Shade.”

As if he needed his point made, the guys behind us cocked their guns.

After a few click of the keys, Meadow put the phone to her ear. “Hey, Mom…I—”

The phone was suddenly snatched from her. Tanner shoved her to her knees. “You think I’m stupid, don’t you?”

  My heart jumped.

  Tanner pressed a button.

“Your call could not be reached. Please hang up and try again.”

  “Shit, pet,” Sunny murmured.

Meadow’s jaw clenched; her gaze hard. “I’ll get you what you want but I’m not calling her. If I did that, my dad would know something was wrong.” She shoved to her feet, much to Tanner’s surprise. “I don’t give a shit what you do to me but if you hurt them, I’ll unleash more firepower on you and your little club than you’ve ever seen, asshole.”

Just when I thought Tanner was going to hit her, he threw his head back and laughed.

Taking that as my chance, I went to her and pulled her away from him, not caring in the least that guns were aimed at us. I needed her in my arms and to let her know that we would do anything to get her out of this.

Her body was stiff, but she latched onto me. “Get me out of here. Please.”

I didn’t like the desperate tone of her voice. Pushing her into Sunny’s arms, I took a step toward Tanner.

His laughter died, his gaze hard and determined. “Get me what I’m looking for or next time I won’t be so nice.” He snapped his fingers and went back around to the other side of his desk.

The men moved away from the door, letting us leave.

Not arguing, I led the way.

Sunny kept Meadow’s hand in his and followed me.

My bones were tense beneath my skin. The tiny hairs on my body tingled. My heart beat so damn hard, it was like it was trying to escape the walls of my rib cage.

Once we reached the SUV and Sunny tucked Meadow safely into the back seat, I joined her. Pulling her against me, I pushed my face into the crook of her neck. I took a deep inhale and then another, needing every ounce of her to make me feel better.

I was vaguely aware of the driver’s side door opening and the engine starting. Instead, I was focused solely on the woman invading my senses.

“Shade,” she whispered, inching her hands beneath my shirt.

When her fingers came into contact with my skin, a growl escaped me.

My teeth found the side of her neck, earning me a soft gasp.

Her hands ran around to my back and higher beneath my shirt, holding me against her. “I’m fine. We’re fine, baby.”

Fisting her hair, I held her head and stared intensely into her eyes. “We’re fine.”

She gave me a soft smile, cupping my cheek. “We are.”

With her other hand, she trailed it beneath my shirt and up to my chest. “Shade, your heart’s racing.”

“Give him a minute, pet,” Sunny said from the front seat.

“It’s adrenaline,” I told her, my voice husky. It took everything I was made of not to erase Tanner’s touch with my own. It could have been worse. So much worse but the fact that he even touched her in the first place, made me crave her skin against mine more so now than ever before.

I turned my head, locking eyes with Sunny’s in the rearview mirror.

  He nodded once.

I blew out a slow breath. “I just need a second.” When Meadow went to pull away from me, I caught her arm. “Not happening, little lamb.”

“I was just going to put on my seat belt,” she explained, snuggling into my side.

I did up the seat belt for her, keeping her in my arms. To think that tonight could have gone so much worse than it already had. “What did he say to you?”

“You heard what he said.” She looked away.

“No, when we couldn’t hear him. What did he say?” I cupped her jaw when she didn’t answer. “Tell me, Meadow. I need to know. We need to know so we can replace those vile words with our sweet ones.”

She looked up at me then, giving me her beautiful dark eyes. “He told me he wanted you to watch him fuck me.”

  “Turn around,” I demanded.

“No.” Sunny lifted a hand. “I am not turning around so you can go barging in there and shoot up the place. I need you alive. And so does Meadow. Hell, our club needs you as well. So before you start arguing with me, I’d quit while you’re ahead. Besides…” Sunny turned down a dark street. “It’s my job to lose my temper and go in with guns blazing.”

“Fucking fuck.” He was right. Not that I told him that though. I turned back to Meadow and brushed my fingers down her jaw. “You sure you’re good?”

“Yeah but I really need out of these clothes. I didn’t like the way he was touching me. I just…” She shivered, looking away.

“I know, Meadow.” I kissed her temple. “I know.”

  Meadow

YOU WOULD THINK I just grew a tail by the way Sunny and Shade were watching me.

They were on edge. I could feel the intensity rolling off of them in waves. I also knew that whatever they had in store for me tonight, would be nothing like I had experienced already with them.

We needed to go to my parents’ place so I could confront my mom and find out what the hell Tanner was looking for but first, we headed back to the guys’ place. While I took a shower, they stayed in the bathroom and waited.

“You guys don’t have to be in here with me,” I told them, running my hands through my hair as the hot water rained down over me.

“Yes, we do, pet.” Sunny pulled back the curtain. “Shade’s damn near v
ibrating out of his skin. You done yet?”

“Oh.” I turned off the water. “I am now.”

“Good. Come here.” Sunny held out a towel.

I went to him, letting him wrap me up in the soft terrycloth.

He picked me up off my feet, holding me against him like a child. “Bedroom.”

Wrapping my arms around his shoulders, I glanced at Shade. He stood off to the side with his hands in his pockets. A dark shadow passed over his face.

  “Put me down,” I whispered.

Sunny kissed my forehead and did as I asked.

I pulled off the towel, leaving me naked between them. Taking a step toward Shade, the air crackled between us. He needed something but I wasn’t sure what. Sex? To fight it out? Whatever it was, he was losing control and even though I hadn’t known the guys for long, I knew that it pissed Shade off.

Instead of saying anything, I moved directly in front of him and placed my hand on his chest just above his heart. The muscle was beating fast.

In a quick move, Shade wrapped his hand around my wrist.

I swallowed a gasp, locking eyes with him.

He leaned forward, brushing his mouth along the shell of my ear. “I’m having a hard time, Meadow.”

My stomach tumbled as his deep gravelly voice washed over me.

“I’m having a really hard time.” Shade pulled me flush against him, snaking his arm around my middle. “I want to tell you how proud I am that you stood up to Tanner but at the same time, I want to spank your ass for letting your mouth get in the way.”

“I’m sorry.” And I realized that I actually was sorry. I didn’t want them mad at me, but Tanner pissed me off. As much as he terrified me and it was obviously stupid on my part, I needed to show him that he couldn’t take whatever he wanted and not pay the consequences.

“Are you, Meadow? Are you really sorry?” Shade’s deep voice washed over me, kissing every inch of my skin.

“Yes,” I whispered, licking my lips.

“I have a confession.” His mouth brushed along the line of my jaw before kissing the corner of my lips. “I’m falling for you.”

My breath caught in my throat.

“I don’t give a shit that we haven’t known each other for long. I don’t give a shit that we’re old enough to be your fathers.” While he let his words sink in, he brushed his hand down the length of my back before dipping his fingers between the crack of my ass. “I don’t care that this is new for all of us.” His finger dipped lower, brushing over the spot that had been theirs from the very beginning. “I don’t care at all. About anything.”

“What do you want?” I asked Shade, lost in this moment with him.

I was vaguely aware of Sunny moving around the room. I didn’t know what he was doing but I did know that I was safe. I was finally safe. My heart. My body. My soul. All of me was safe because of these men.

Most had a hard time finding one man to fulfill their needs. To love, to hold, and to cherish. But I had two. To love? Was I in love with them? Could that happen over only a matter of weeks?

I stared up into Shade’s eyes.

With his finger brushing lazily back and forth over my center, I searched his face. “Don’t hurt me, Shade.”

“Never, baby.” He leaned his forehead against mine. “Never. But I’m asking you not to do the same.”

“Never, baby,” I said, repeating his words.

He blew out a slow breath.

“Are you better?” I asked, leaning back but keeping my hand on his cheek.

He pushed his face into my palm. “I am now.”

“Good.” I pulled away from him and went to the bed. Sunny was leaning against the dresser with his arms crossed. “I need you both. Right now. Inside me.” I knelt on the bed and shuffled forward at the same time Sunny came toward me. “Please.”

Sunny leaned his head from side to side. “Thank fuck.”

I laughed when suddenly, both of them were on me.

  ***

  (Sunny)

I was thankful that Meadow wanted us because Shade and I were wound up tight. I didn’t want to go to her parents’ place on the verge of snapping. Because I knew that it would get to the point where Shade and I would fuck her anywhere and we didn’t need to deal with her father because of that.

When Meadow’s moans slid into my ears, I knew that this was where I should be. Her body moved between Shade and I. She rode his cock while I was deep in her ass. She was tight. It was slow. It was perfect.

Shade kept a firm grip on her hips, helping her bounce for him.

At first, I wanted fast but now that we were in this position, I craved the ecstasy that the slow movements could bring.

“God.” Meadow arched against me, digging her nails into Shade’s chest.

When I met his gaze, he gave me a smirk.

  I love you, he mouthed.

I love you too, I mouthed back.

He nodded his head toward Meadow.

  I nodded back.

  His smirk grew.

Pulling her back against me, I cupped her throat and sunk my teeth into her shoulder.

  She moaned.

“Spread your legs, pet,” I growled against the side of her neck.

She did as she was told. Such a good little pet.

Before she could even guess what we were about to do, my palm connected with her pussy.

She gasped, her eyes popping open.

  I repeated the movement.

Shade picked up speed with his hips.

And I slapped her pretty little pussy. Again.

  Slap. Slap. Slap.

She cried out, her eyes rolling into the back of her head.

Shade nodded, silently telling me to do it again and again. To take our little pet and shove her over that delicious edge of ecstasy.

  Slap. Slap. Slap.

  Meadow’s pupils dilated.

Her body tightened on our cocks.

  Shade groaned. “Again,” he barked.

I slapped her again when a gush of liquid flowed between us followed by a soul shattering scream.

Meadow shook, falling back against me.

“Come again, pet.” I kept a firm hold on her jaw, pumping my hips and fucking her sweet little body. “You like that, don’t you?”

She moaned, her eyes fluttering closed.

I landed my palm against her pussy once again before all of us fell.

  (Meadow)

A finger brushed along my lips, pushing a tiny hard object onto my tongue. It was sweet. I chewed it, realizing that it was chocolate.

“Thank you.” I sighed, rolling over onto my stomach.

“You’re welcome, little lamb.” A soft peck landed on my cheek.

My muscles twitched. My bones vibrated beneath my skin, but I felt better. Lighter. Much better than I did an hour ago. Or maybe it had been longer. I couldn’t tell. Time was lost to me as I curled up in the blankets and wrapped myself in the scent of our sex.

Opening my eyes, I lifted my head and looked around me. I was alone but still in Sunny and Shade’s bed.

Sliding off the bed, I threw on my clothes, fixed my messy hair as best I could and made my way out into the hall. Faint voices sounded from the living room. Once I reached it, I found Sunny and Shade sitting on the couch.

“I don’t know what he could want,” a deep voice said, coming from the phone in Sunny’s hand. “But it must be important if he’s willing to go to all this trouble for it.”

I recognized it as Greyson’s voice. It sounded strained. Like he had been up for days. He probably had been. He had his wife to take care of and a son who was in jail for protecting the woman he loved.

Life wasn’t fair if you asked me.

“He wants a set of numbers.” Sunny caught my gaze then. “Not sure what they’re for. We’re going to Meadow’s parents’ place to see if we can get some answers, but we needed…”

“We needed a moment,” Shade finished for hi
m.

I moved to the spot between them and sat, wrapping my hands around Shade’s arm and leaning my head against his shoulder.

“I get that. I need lots of fucking moments,” Greyson grumbled. “Listen, whatever you find out, let me know.”

“Will do.” Sunny ran his hand over my upper back in circles.

“You good?” Shade asked me, his voice low.

“I am now.” I gave him a small smile. “Someone fed me chocolate.”

“I did.” He kissed my forehead. “Your blood sugar would have been low,” he explained while Sunny and Greyson continued talking.

“Oh. Really? How come?” I shivered when Sunny’s hand inched beneath my shirt and cupped my breast. Always touching me and never taking it further until I gave the go ahead. “I didn’t know that was a thing.”

“We fucked you good and hard. It’s like going for a run without having any water after,” Shade explained.

“That makes sense.” I realized that I hadn’t eaten much that day either, so I was thankful for the chocolate.

Shade smirked, his gaze dropping to my chest. He lifted my shirt, watching Sunny’s thumb push its way inside the cup of my bra. “I like seeing his hands on you.”

  My breath caught.

His gaze snapped to mine. “Thank you, Meadow.”

“For what?” It wasn’t like I had done anything. Really, it had been all them. They brought me back to their place and made me feel better. Tanner bothered me in ways I had never known before. My ex was a sadistic bastard, but Tanner was outright evil. And he didn’t care. There was no moral bone in his body. Even though he brought down a dog fighting ring, I had a feeling that it was a ruse. Sure, he liked animals more than he liked humans but if what the guys said was true, there was an ulterior motive to Tanner’s ways.

Shade only gave me a soft smile instead of answering.

“Alright, boss. I’ll let you know what we find out,” Sunny told Greyson. They said their goodbyes and Sunny disconnected the phone.

“What time is it?” I asked, wishing I didn’t have to confront my mom about this. I just wanted Sunny and Shade to take me away, so we could get to know each other better. Maybe in time we could. And we still needed to go on that date.
