“I’m taking you out to dinner tonight,” he said, setting his juice down. “You won’t want to cook after the test.” Turning her around, he took her juice, set it down, and straddled the stool, pulling her into his lap.
Nervousness ate at her at the mention of the test he’d be putting her through today. She could hardly believe she was already trying for her orange belt. “Oh, you are, are you?”
He hummed in affirmation and tightened his arms around her waist.
“Where are we going?”
“What do you want? If you pass, I want to make it special.”
“And if I don’t?”
“Then it’ll still be special.” He grinned.
“Softy.”
His hand rode up her back to her shoulders, massaging the tightness there. She spread her legs to either side of him, grinding into him a little. Reveling in the way he hardened, his cock pressing against her through his jeans.
“There’s a nice place not far from here I want to try,” she said. “They sell, like, ten different kinds of sushi or something.”
“Sure.”
“Archer…” She looked back at her painting. Parts of it were still wet. It wouldn’t be safe to touch for days, and she didn’t want to end up accidentally brush against it.
“Come here.” He hoisted her up onto his waist and stood up, carrying her easily to the bedroom.
“Isn’t my test in two hours?” She whooped when he spilled her onto the bed. He smoothed her hair out of her face and straightened, looking for something on the floor.
“Yeah, that’s plenty of time.”
“Don’t work me too hard. I want to show my new belt to Zoe when we talk tonight, and I won’t pass if you wear me out.”
“I won’t.” He rifled under some clothes.
“You talked to Nick last night, right? How’s he doing?”
“He’s still having trouble remembering things sometimes, but otherwise he’s good as new.”
“That’s wonderful. I can’t wait to Skype with them tonight.” She sat up a little. “What are you looking for?”
“Something to tie your hands.”
Right. A bunch of their luggage had been lost on the way over, including a box with most of Archer’s BDSM toys. A bolt of mischief raced through her. She reached down, opening the drawer under the bed. Drew out her yellow karate belt and held it up, biting her lip.
His eyes sparkled. “That works.”
She watched every muscle in him work as he crawled toward her on the bed. “I have to admit having my sensei tie me up with my karate belt is a little hot.”
He laughed and snatched the belt from her, frighteningly quick. “Give me your hands, nasty woman.”
She shook her head, holding her wrists away from him with a smirk.
His mouth tightened, but his eyes were warm. “Really? You wanna do this? I only have two hours.” He seized her wrists, but then stopped. His face softened and he leaned over her.
She cocked her head. “What is it?”
“Do you miss it? America?”
“Sure. But I like it here too. It’s different.”
He set the belt aside laid himself gently over her. His fingers smoothed her hair from her face. “So, you don’t want to go home?”
Gwen slid her arms around him, snuggling into him. “I’m with you, Archer. I am home.”
