Rich circled her palm with his thumb, which he knew was a massive turn on for her. ‘Well, we’ve got this new line of Prosecco for the Xpress line that we’ve just put into barrels – well, tanks – and I thought you might like to be pressed up against it.’
Laney threw her head back and laughed as they sped up to an Olympic-paced walk.
Reaching their destination, he pulled her into the barrel barn, leaned her gently against the new Prosecco, held her face in his hands and stared deep into her, making her shudder and her core buzz. She looked back at him, holding his gaze as their breathing deepened and they found each other’s rhythm.
In truth it was the kind of connection that Laney had thought was BS. The kind of rhythm that she thought only happened in movies and books. The kind of rhythm that Ryan would say was reserved for rhythmic gymnasts. He had a soft spot for gymnasts. He had a soft spot for anyone who could put their legs over their heads.
Rich smiled, shaking his head. ‘Laney Gallagher, what have you done to me?’ His voice was husky with need.
Laney smiled back at him. ‘Exactly what you’ve done to me.’ She pushed against his hardness making him moan.
Then he leaned in and kissed her, soft and intense and perfect, tasting of the newer, more affordable chardonnay and feeling like home.
‘Laney,’ he murmured between kisses.
‘Yes my love,’ she whispered.
‘Will you marry me?’

Charlie Collins really needs to get a life.
At the ripe young age of 44, single mum, Charlie Collins is drying up. Her body, her career and her love life, which has been officially dry for *cough* years.
And her relationship with her monosyllabic teenage daughter is hanging on by a thread.
So Charlie bundles her daughter into a campervan for a bonding trip of a lifetime. She’s got this. But disaster strikes at Disaster Cove when their van breaks down. Charlie’s had it. In the middle of summer on an empty highway with a cranky offspring, life can get stuffed.
But is it really the worst thing that can happen? Especially when it means Charlie gets to meet a local hot doctor and a spunky barista.
But who will she chose to break the drought - The hot doc with a hot secret who makes her middle aged hormones buzz or the barista who makes the best coffee on the Sapphire Coast and has the tanned, strong body of a surfer she’s desperate to touch.
A heartwarming and hilarious story about change and moving onwards upwards and a little bit sideways.
