Companion 3000 Page 3

by Evangeline Anderson

“He’s not really human, remember? Besides…” Leita frowned and consulted the vid-clipboard in her hand that had come packed with the Companion 2000. It was a complete owner’s manual and warranty so she intended to read it from start to finish. “It says here that any lingering odor is simply the chemical aftermath from the flesh vats. After a few washings, it should come right off.”

Personally she didn’t find the smell coming from the Companion offensive. Sure, it was strong, but also very masculine. Musky, spicy, delicious…oh, she was so horny. It had been well over a year since she’d been with a man and her vibrator just wasn’t cutting it anymore. She wished the Companion’s sedation would wear off already—she was ready to jump his bones no matter how he smelled.

“Well, it doesn’t matter what he smells like,” Schneider said, cutting into her graphic fantasies of ripping the leather pants down and having her way with the unconscious Companion. “Because you can’t keep him.”

“What?” Leita tore her eyes from the sleeping face of the Companion to look at her best friend’s twitching whiskers and wide gold eyes. “What do you mean?”

“I mean you’ll have to send him back. He’s the wrong model,” Schneider pointed out. “You said yourself you couldn’t afford to spend this much. Leita—you have to be practical.”

“To hell with practical.” Leita resumed her visual tour of the extra-large, caramel-colored, medium-hairy bonbon lying in the box just waiting for her to take a bite. “This is what they sent me. I say, finders keepers.”

“But how are you going to feed something this big?” Schneider protested. “Look at him—he’s a giant. We don’t have enough supplies on hand.”

“That’s all taken care of—look.” Leita lifted a five-pound sack of fine-grained purple powder from its resting place at the Companion’s booted feet. “See?” she said. “This is nutrient powder—you just mix it with water to make a paste. It’s very concentrated and it says in the manual that he’s going to love it. A small bowl in the morning is all he needs to keep going all day—this is a whole year’s supply.”

“Well…where is he going to sleep? Have you thought of that?” Schneider asked. “He’s too big to go in the bed with us and I’m not giving up my pillow.”

Leita consulted the vid-clip again. “Says in the manual that he will happily sleep in the containment system—I think that’s the box he came in.” She indicated the long silver coffin-like box where the Companion was currently lying peacefully. He was even snoring a little bit, she noted. Such lifelike details—she was really getting her credits’ worth—at least so far. “Although I will need a little time alone with him in the bedroom from time to time, Schneider,” she added gently. “For when I…you know, use him.”

“Well, this is just too much.” Schneider dropped back down to a seated position, his arms crossed over his furry, slender chest. “You’re reading that owner’s manual like you bought a new pet. How to feed it, how to train it to sleep in its box, how to make it service you sexually.”

“Schneider,” she began in a warning tone, but her friend refused to be stopped.

“Just look at the way you’re dressed,” he continued, pointing at her. “Why that dress is see-through, Leita. I can see your…your…those pink, nubbly things you humans have, right through the top of it.”

“They’re called nipples and they’re none of your business!” Leita flared. She crossed her arms over her chest angrily, hiding the body parts in question. It was true that she had dressed for the occasion. Most of the time she ran around the pod in grease-stained overalls and T-shirts from fixing droid ships all day. But she’d ordered a few slinky clothes from For Her Pleasure almost two years ago, back when she’d thought she was in love with Eddie. Her plan had been to make him so happy he’d never want to leave. Unfortunately, the plan had backfired when he left with her valuables and credit before she could even wear one of the outfits.

Leita didn’t think there was any harm in wearing the pale pink babydoll nightie and matching panties, garter belt and hose for her own pleasure, even though the Companion probably wouldn’t know the difference. And she hadn’t expected Schneider to comment on them either.

“I like this outfit,” she told her friend defensively, even though the high heels she was wearing made her wobble uncertainly. “It makes my hair look blonder and it brings out my eyes.”

“Well, I still don’t think—” Schneider began. Then he jumped backward in a move that looked almost comical, his tail fluffing into an offended bush and his golden eyes narrowing to slits. “Watch out!” he hissed, staring at the containment unit. “He’s waking up!”

Pierce opened his eyes groggily to see an angel and some kind of a rat- or cat-type thing bending over him. What the hell? Had he died in the shootout with Shie-lu and gone to heaven? But Pierce was pretty sure he hadn’t been nearly good enough to go there. And besides, if this was heaven, how did you explain the cat-looking thing that was staring at him with obvious distrust? Still, the angel was plenty pretty enough to make up for a dozen such creatures.

She had dark blonde hair and wide brown eyes and a sprinkling of freckles over her pert nose. Full red lips just made for kissing and the outfit… Pierce nearly groaned when his eyes traveled down the naughty little pale pink number she had on. He could see her nipples and the slit of her pussy right through it. Damn if it didn’t make his mouth water!

“You an angel?” he asked groggily, trying to sit up.

The angel smiled and bent down to help him. “No, I’m Leita and, well…I guess I’m your new mistress.” She laughed self-consciously, a low, pleasant sound that Pierce liked at once.

“Look like an angel to me,” he muttered, still feeling dazed. He was in some kind of a bedroom. The box he was in was wedged between a desk and a large bed with a homey patchwork quilt that looked made by hand. “Leita—nice name. I like it,” he muttered.

“I’m glad you like it.” She sighed. “Well, I guess you’re programmed to say that though, no matter what my name is.”

“Programmed?” Pierce shook his head, trying to make sense of what she was saying. Everything seemed so fuzzy. “I wouldn’t say I liked it if I didn’t like it,” he told her firmly. “Don’t believe in false compliments.”

“Good, then you can call me by my name instead of ‘Mistress’.” She looked relieved. “I mean, I know that’s part of your programming too, but I did think it would be kind of weird to have you calling me ‘Mistress’ while we were, well, you know…” She trailed off, blushing prettily.

“While we what?” Pierce asked, mystified. She wasn’t making one Goddessdamn bit of sense but she sure was pretty when she blushed.

“While you service her sexually, mister macho sex machine,” the rat-cat thing spoke up for the first time in a clear, piping voice. “That’s what you’re here for, isn’t it? To screw little Miss Leita’s brains out? Or what brains she has left, anyway, after ordering you.”

  “Schneider!” Leita yelped angrily.

“What?” Pierce was totally lost now. The rat-cat thing seemed to be saying that he had been brought here, wherever “here” was, specifically to have sex with the pink and blonde angel named Leita. Not that he objected, he thought, giving her another quick once over—she was blonde and curvy and gorgeous—hell, he’d be willing to devote plenty of time to satisfying her sexually. But this all had to be a dream, one of the better ones he’d had since he was a horny adolescent, but a dream nonetheless.

His continued confusion seemed to offend the rat-cat thing. “I said you’re just one big walking, talking dildo and not a very bright one, either,” it snapped at him. And with a greatly offended air, it walked out of the room, its bushy tail held high in the air.

“What the hell?” Pierce asked the angel named Leita, staring after the offended thing. It might be some kind of ET he’d never seen before, or it might just be a figment of his dream but whatever it was, it was sadly lacking in manners and that pi
ssed him off.

Leita was still blushing. “Don’t mind Schneider, I think he’s a little jealous that I sent for you.” She put a hand on his arm, as though testing his muscle tone. Obligingly, Pierce tensed his arm, making the biceps bulge. “Mmm.” Leita knelt beside him and her little pink tongue darted out to wet her full red lips. He sat up straighter. This dream was getting better all the time.

“Go on,” he murmured, wanting to hear more of that soft, feminine voice. “Why…why did you send for me?”

She looked at him from under thick lashes, her big brown eyes melting in their sincerity. “I guess I don’t really have to explain, but it’s nice that you’re programmed to ask, so…I guess I’m just—well, I’m lonely way out here at the end of the system all by myself. I have Schneider and he’s great company but it’s not the same as having a man around…” She took one of his hands and pressed his palm against the soft, smooth skin of her chest, right above her breasts. “I have needs,” she told Pierce, softly. She sounded nervous but determined. “I need someone to hold me, someone to touch me.” She took a deep breath and looked him in the eye. “I need someone to fuck me—that’s why I sent for you.”

Son of a bitch! Pierce felt like the top of his head was going to explode. His cock went from half-mast to rock-solid in one second flat. Damn if she wasn’t the sexiest little thing he’d ever seen and here she was asking him to fuck her! Dream or no dream, he wasn’t going to pass on this opportunity.

“What are we waiting for?” he growled, sliding his hand down to cup one of her full breasts. He gently tweaked her nipple and Leita threw back her head and moaned. It was clear she needed it bad and Pierce wanted to be the one to give it to her.

“Not here,” she whispered in his ear, giving him a pleasant chill that traveled down his spine. “Let’s go to bed.”

“All right, good idea.” He pictured himself lifting her easily and throwing her down on the bed for a good, hard fuck. He wanted to rip that sweet little pale pink dress right off her and suck those ripe pink nipples until she screamed. Then he was going to lick a hot, wet trail down her soft little stomach until he got to her panties— he’d take those off with his teeth. And after that he wanted to go down on her until she begged him to take her. Wanted to spread open those sweet little pussy lips he could see behind the transparent panties and suck her little clit until she gasped and cried and pulled his hair—he wanted to make her completely wild before he shoved his cock inside her to fuck her and fill her full of his cum.

The reality was, though, horny or not, he was still horribly groggy. When he went to stand, he almost fell over. In fact if Leita hadn’t grabbed him and pulled him upright, he would have gone down for sure—and not in the way he had been picturing it either.

“Whoa! Are you feeling all right?” She looked at him anxiously. “Your manual says you may be a little groggy for a while until the sedation wears off.”

Pierce frowned at her. “My manual? What are you talking about?”

A look of puzzlement crossed her pretty face. “Your owner’s manual, of course.” She waved a vid-clip at him. “The manual for the Companion 2000.”

“Companion 2000?” He frowned at her—where had he heard that before? Suddenly, it all came rushing back to him—the shootout outside the man-whore factory, the weird walking, talking man-thing that had insisted it wanted to service him, the knockout gas he’d been given when he tried to get out of the box… The box—ugh! If he hadn’t been claustrophobic before, he surely was now. He stepped quickly out of the box, nearly stumbling in his haste to get away from it.

“Is something wrong, Companion 2000?” Leita was still looking at him anxiously.

“Look,” Pierce said in some exasperation. “I’m only gonna say this once—I’m not a damn Companion 2000.”

“You’re…you’re not?” She stepped away from him almost as quickly as Pierce had stepped away from the long silver sarcophagus. “If you’re not the Companion 2000 I ordered then…then who or what are you?” she asked, her big brown eyes large with fear.

“Hey now, honey, I’m not gonna hurt you.” Pierce took a step toward her but she jumped back again.

“Stay back,” she said in a shaking voice. “Don’t come near me until you tell me who you are.”

Great! Pierce stared at her, his mind working a million miles a minute. When she’d thought he was a sex robot, she had been warm and open and ready to jump his bones. She’d trusted him at once, probably because the man-whore-cyborgs were programmed to be trustworthy. And the moment he told her he wasn’t one of them, she started freaking out. Which would probably lead to her throwing him out and notifying the authorities. Which would in turn lead to Shie-lu finding him and turning him in for the bounty on his head.

On the other hand, if he went along with what she believed, Pierce reasoned, not only would he have the perfect place to hide out until the heat on the street cooled down a little, he would also have the trust and sexual attention of a very pretty girl who was dying for him to screw her brains out. He didn’t like to lie to her but what else could he do?

“What are you if you’re not a Companion 2000?” she demanded again.

“I’m a…” Pierce thought fast. “I’m a Companion 3000,” he said, smiling broadly. “Because you’ve been selected to receive the very latest in the Companion series through…through a random drawing.”

“A Companion 3000?” She frowned at him and crossed her arms over her breasts. “I didn’t see any mention of that on their website.”

“Of course not because I’m a…a prototype,” he said, trying not to sound desperate. “I have all kinds of extra-special bonus features the Companion 2000 series doesn’t have.”

“Really?” She arched an eyebrow at him, clearly skeptical. “Name them.”

“Name them?” He looked at her uncertainly.

“That’s right—name them. I want to know all the ‘extra-special bonuses’ I get with you.”

“Oh, uh…” Pierce racked his brain. What had the weird man-whore-cyborg thing said to him before Shie-lu and his gang busted into the factory? “I’m, um, extra sensitive,” he said weakly. “So if you wanna cry all over me I don’t mind.”

“Thanks,” she said dryly. “But that wasn’t exactly what I had in mind when I ordered you from the For Her Pleasure catalog. What else?”

“I, uh, I’ll never try to solve your problems,” Pierce offered, still trying to recall what the man-whore-thing had said in the factory. “I’ll listen to you bitch just as much as you want about your crappy day at work or your two-faced girlfriends and never offer a word of advice. Unless you ask for it, of course.”

“That’s comforting to know since I work right here and don’t have any girlfriends, two-faced or otherwise.” Clearly she still wasn’t convinced. Suddenly, Pierce thought of the main selling point the man-thing had kept harping on.

“Leita,” he said softly, taking a step toward her. “I’m here to fulfill all your darkest sexual fantasies. No matter how kinky or extreme.”

“Oh…” She sighed softly and he saw some of the skepticism melt from her eyes.

“And you don’t have to be ashamed to tell me anything,” he continued, still speaking in a soft, coaxing tone. “Because I’m a machine—I’m your machine. I’ll do anything you want me to. Kiss you, hold you, taste you…” He stepped closer to her, close enough to cup her cheek in his palm and look down into her eyes. He was pleased to see she didn’t run away.

“I…I don’t…” She shook her head, still looking at him with some uncertainty in her brown eyes.

“Anything you want,” Pierce murmured, stroking her cheek gently. “Any way you ever imagined it. If you want me to eat your sweet little pussy, it will be my pleasure. And if you want me to make love to you for hours, I can.” He threaded his fingers through her silky blonde hair and deepened his voice. “Or maybe sometimes you just need a good hard fuck.”

  “Yes,” she breathed. “Goddess
, yes.”

“All right then,” Pierce growled softly. “What are we waiting for?”

  Chapter 3

It had been a long, lonely time since she’d had a man in her bed. So long, that Leita didn’t even care that he wasn’t really a man. It was enough to her that he looked like a man, sounded like a man, smelled like a man. Enough that his rock-hard muscles bunched and flexed as he picked her up and laid her on the bed as though she weighed no more than a feather. He was so big on top of her, covering her with his large warm body, caressing every available inch of her skin with his big, calloused hands. Goddess, it felt so good to be touched again, to be kissed and held and loved, even if the man doing the loving wasn’t really human.

“Oh,” she whisper-moaned when the whiskers on his cheek brushed her vulnerable neck as he tasted her pulse, kissing and biting a hot, wet trail down her throat. “Oh Goddess, oh…” She stopped, realizing she hadn’t thought of anything to call him. She’d had a few names in mind before she unpacked him but they had all flown out of her head and she didn’t want to shout out “Oh, Companion 3000!” at the top of her lungs when she came. It was so…impersonal somehow.

The Companion seemed to sense her problem. “Pierce,” he breathed in her ear, nipping the lobe in a way that made her shiver. “Call me Pierce, baby. Wanna hear you say my name.”

“Pierce!” she gasped, as he pulled open her pale pink babydoll, exposing her bare breasts. He took one sensitive nipple into his mouth, sucking hard, as though he wanted to get as much of her breast into his mouth as he could. The hot, wet pressure shot sparks of sensation straight down her spine to the slippery heated well between her legs. “Pierce,” she moaned, “oh Goddess, yes!”

He spent what seemed to be an eternity teasing and sucking her nipples—nipping at them with his strong white teeth and then lapping gently to ease the pain until Leita was nearly panting with pleasure. She threaded her fingers into his hair and arched her back to give him better access, to offer herself more fully to his mouth.
