The Love of My Bully Page 6

  “Why are you doing this?”

“Because I can and because it’s fun. You really think you’re the one with the power here? You shouldn’t have come, Prudence. Now, take those clothes off or Sean will pay the price again for your bullshit. Isn’t he always paying in some way because you can’t handle all this crap?” He held his phone between his fingers. “Decisions. It’s so hard to make the right decision, isn’t it?”

  “Fuck you.”

“Oh, fuck me. What’s the matter? Don’t like when you’re beat?” he asked.

“I know what the hell I’m doing,” she said.

He was surprised as she took her jacket off. She paused on the strap of her pants. “What are you going to do? Make me walk back through the party with no clothes on? Make me a mockery so when we get back to school, they can all laugh and joke at the fat girl who was naked at your party?”

He smiled. “That actually sounds like a lot of fun, but to be honest, I want you naked because I feel people tell the truth without their clothes on. Besides, where’s the fun in playing a game completely dressed?”

She still hesitated at the buckle of her pants. They did look so cute on her, and he couldn’t recall her wearing them in school. She cursed his name and started to wriggle out of her clothes.

With only her bra and panties on, he couldn’t help but admire her. Her body was a lot bigger than most of the girls he knew but it certainly didn’t distract from her natural beauty. She never wore makeup or tried to gain his attention. She really was a real enigma to him.

She sat down on the floor but he tutted.

“Not going to happen. I said strip. I meant all of it, or are you too stupid to follow even basic orders?”

“You know, you’re really starting to piss me off, Drake. I don’t have to do this. What you’re doing right now is fucking illegal.”

He held his cell phone as a reminder of his reach. His family didn’t have to worry about legalities. They owned the police. They owned everyone. “You seem to keep forgetting who’s in charge here. I’m the one who will decide if your precious boyfriend gets left alone or we drag his ass in. You really think Sean has what it takes to defend himself?”

“Why are you wasting your time with me? Ree wants to be with you. I don’t have a clue why she does, but she’s right outside, waiting for you. Why can’t you just accept it?”

Drake smiled. “I can accept that. By the end of the night, I’ll probably use her, and like most bitches, she’ll get discarded along with the rest.”

She snorted. “You really are a piece of work, you know that?”

He shrugged. “I don’t care what you think. I never have cared about what you or anyone else thinks. You need to learn to pick better friends, Pru. Ones that aren’t so willing to throw you into the fire.”

She shook her head. “I’m not taking my underwear off.”

“Okay, well, then, I think something else is in order.” He stood up, grabbing her arms and pulling her to her feet. She tensed in his arms and he saw the flash of fear. He hadn’t seen her react to him for a long time and he missed it. He missed seeing how worried and afraid she would get. He smiled. “Not so immune to me as you like to make me think.”

  “Leave me alone.”

  “I don’t want to.”

She held on to him tightly, refusing to let him go. “You don’t have to do any of this. There’s always a way out. Why do you have to make everything so fucking difficult?”

“It comes naturally to me. Don’t you get it? Being predictable is boring and no fun. You’re not predictable. Well, apart from when it comes to your friends. You always know how far to push and how to piss me off.” He smiled. “I don’t mind. I like playing this game with you, and I know you like playing it with me.”

She shook her head. “You’re delusional. Let me go.”

“No.” He quickly spun her around, flicked the catch of her bra, and removed it from her body before forcing her back to face him. “You’re so stubborn, Pru. They’re just a pair of tits!” He let her go, watching her fall on her ass, and he didn’t even bother to help her up. “Come on, hurry up.”

He saw the anger now in her face.

Before he could stop or restrain her, she attacked him, throwing him onto his ass. She straddled his waist, and he caught her wrists before she could sink her nails into his face. He didn’t want to mess up his pretty little face. It was part of him, after all, and he liked the way he looked and had no intention of changing it.

  “I fucking hate you.”

Drake was shocked by how strong she was. There was real power in her and she looked so fucking fierce it made his dick ache for more of her. She was stunning, but this was his home, his domain, and she’d come into his place, not the other way around.

Sure, he’d forced Ree to call her, but that didn’t mean she had to come and it certainly didn’t mean she had to bring Sean. He knew what to do to piss her off. To really fuck with her head. Sean was her weakness. She always, in some way, felt responsible for the little fucker. She needed to learn the only way to fight him was to cut all those ugly fuckers out of her life, and then she’d win.

Without Sean, he wouldn’t have been able to keep her here. Sean made her weak, and in order to be strong, she would need to learn to make some pretty fucking brave decisions.

Using all of his strength, he turned her, rolling her to the floor beneath him. It took him several attempts to get her hands above her head, but once he did, he finally was in control. “You need to learn to stop fighting me so much.”

She cried out, releasing a growl. “I’ll never stop fighting you. You think you’ve won. You’re not even close to winning.”

“I’ve got you pinned underneath me and you’re nearly naked. Just think of all the amazing things I could do to you right now.” He didn’t let go of her wrists but to prove just how vulnerable she was, he thrust his cock against her. He was fucking hard. Fighting with Prudence always aroused him. He didn’t even know why, only that he couldn’t help himself. He liked to fuck with her, to mess with her mind.

She stopped struggling and he didn’t want her to just stop. As he stared down at her, the silence seemed to ring out in the room. In the distance, he heard the music from the party. Everyone was all around, and yet, he couldn’t give a single fuck about what was going on in other rooms. All of his focus was on the now, waiting to see what she’d do next, what would happen.

  “Get off me,” she said.

  “No.”

“Why do you have to keep on pushing? Why don’t you just leave things alone?” She began to wriggle against his hold but he was stronger. She was at his mercy, not the other way around. It didn’t take her long to get tired and start to scream at him to let her go. He watched her, feeling like an intruder.

There was so much passion in her actions, so much desperation, and he wanted to harness it. To fill the void that was inside him. Instead, he merely watched, waiting for her to lose control.

Tears welled in her eyes and he was fascinated as they cascaded down her face. Her body shook, as did her tits.

She was a bigger girl, had thicker hips and thighs. He’d bullied her because of her weight but he’d never really given a fuck about how heavy she was. Staring at her now, he felt a stirring in his cock.

Tilting his head to the side, he already knew what her lips tasted like, sweet. He wanted to taste her again and to have her completely at his mercy. No girl had ever made him feel this way. Never had him so consumed with her that he wanted to find out exactly what made her tick. “Are you giving up yet?” he asked.

“I’ve got nothing more to do. Why are you doing this to me? I’ve never done anything to you and I can’t handle this anymore. Please, just stop.”

He sat back, off her body, staring across at her, seeing her so lost and so broken. This wasn’t what he wanted. Resting his hands on his knees, he waited, expecting the usual anger he normally felt curling inside him. Most often when he was
with her, he was more than happy to lash out and hurt her. He liked her tears but he preferred her pain more. Especially when she hit him back, when she forced him to deal with him.

Rubbing circles on her knees, he was a little perplexed about what to do. This wasn’t normal for him, and he didn’t like it.

She sat up, her tits shaking as she did.

Her nakedness seemed right to him. What was going on between them was more than modesty. He didn’t need for her to be covered to respect her.

  “Drake?”

He didn’t want her to speak, not right now. Leaning forward, he was so close that he felt her breath fan across his face. Her eyes were incredibly wide and if he moved a little closer and she rapidly blinked her eyes, it would look like butterflies.

She tried to pull away but he couldn’t have that. He didn’t want her leaving him so quickly. Cupping her face, he held her, not giving her room to leave.

She tried to struggle away but he wouldn’t let her go. She was at his mercy, which was exactly where she was meant to be. If she lifted her hands off the floor, she’d hurt herself.

Her lips looked so inviting. Plump and ready to be kissed.

  Chapter Five

  She shouldn’t be here

Nearly naked and alone with Drake was not on Prudence’s to-do list. Nor was being held by him with no way to escape. Her heart pounded and she wanted to run to Sean and have him drive out of the party without a second glance.

She held on to Drake, hoping he’d stop being a dick and finally let her free.

He didn’t let her go. He kept on staring at her lips, and even now, it was impossible not to look at his. He was so close. When he told her to get naked, she’d expected him to bully her about her weight.

She was almost naked in front of him, and he could throw every single one of those hated words at her, and yet, nothing. It was like he didn’t see her naked. Yet, when he pressed his cock against her, she felt how hard he was. He liked being this close to her and that scared her. She didn’t want to be close to him, or to anyone. “You won’t hurt Sean,” she said.

He smiled. “I will. I’ll do it for fun.”

  “Leave him alone.”

“Will you fight for all your friends with that much spirit, Pru?”

“You’ll never know because you are not my friend.”

He pulled her a little closer so their bodies were now flush together. They shouldn’t be this close. She’d never been with a guy. There were a few times she’d slept beside Sean, but that wasn’t anything sexual.

Drake made it even more so with the way he rubbed his body against hers, so she had no doubt about his arousal.

“Why do you have to be such a dick?” she asked.

  “It comes naturally.”

She let out a gasp as he suddenly cupped her face and slammed his lips down on hers. The kiss took her completely by surprise. At first, she didn’t do anything, then she realized who was kissing her and the fact this shouldn’t be happening.

As she fought against him, Drake grabbed her hands, pressing them above her head, stopping her from resisting him.

The kiss went on and on, and after a short while, maybe even only a couple of seconds, it started to feel … nice.

She didn’t try to bite him and as he slid his tongue across her lips. Instead, she opened her mouth, kissing him back.

This was wrong on every single level. Kissing him was a giant mistake. Totally irrational, and yet, she did it. His cock hardened even more, pressing between her thighs, but she wasn’t afraid. This guy had been the one person she’d hated more than anything in the entire world, and yet, his kiss heated her blood.

Drake broke the kiss first. He stared down at her. Neither of them spoke. Her heart galloped inside her chest.

Every part of what they were doing was wrong. She shouldn’t be in his home. The only reason she was here was because of him and Ree.

Sean was waiting for her outside.

  Drake licked his lips.

  She didn’t have any words.

The kiss wasn’t horrible. It wasn’t anything.

Biting her lip, she waited, hoping to wake up from the worst dream she could ever have.

There was a bang on the door, making them both jump. “Come on, Drake. Let’s get this party started. It drags without you.”

She didn’t know which friend it was nor did she care.

Drake still held her down, even as she tilted her head, looking toward the door.

“I need to go,” she said. All the fight had left her.

Much to her surprise, Drake sat back, giving her the chance to get up. At first, she didn’t move, almost afraid to do anything. Staring at him, she waited for him to strike out, but he didn’t budge.

Sliding away from him, she put some distance between them. All the while, she was acutely aware of the tingling of her lips from the kiss they’d shared. They had kissed and she couldn’t even pretend to have forced him into it. The first touch of their lips, she could say she didn’t participate. The second she started to respond, all matter of force went out of the window.

With Drake giving her space, she rushed toward her clothes and quickly pulled them on, needing the extra layer of protection.

This, between them, was a huge mistake, and one she wouldn’t be repeating.

When she’d pulled her pants on, she turned toward Drake. He still sat in the same position, watching her. She couldn’t move as he stared at her, and she felt a fluttering in her stomach. She wasn’t nervous, though.

“I’m going to go.” She nibbled her lip as she turned on her heel, making her way to the door.

Drake didn’t make a sound. He didn’t stop her.

With her hand on the door handle, she wanted nothing more than to run as far away from him as possible, to never look back.

Still, she rounded herself, turning to glance back at him. He watched her.

Why was he suddenly paying such close attention to her, and why wasn’t she running away from him?

This was a mistake, a big, giant, fat mistake.

Letting go of the door, she walked up to him. He didn’t back down, didn’t move a muscle. Just stayed perfectly still, and it irritated her. Standing in front of him, surrounded by his wealth, she clenched her hands into fists before stepping back and going to the door.

“You know what? You’re a pig. You could have let Ree come in here and party with you. Instead, you treated her like shit.” She walked right back to him, even though she wanted to leave.

She didn’t understand why she didn’t leave him right now. He’d given her an out and yet, here she was, still waiting for more.

He got to his feet. That cocky grin of his was still firmly in place and she wanted to smack him. To stop him from looking so confident.

“You know, you’re starting to sound a little jealous,” he said.

“I’m not jealous. Let’s remember who got who naked here, Drake. Not only that, you were the one who wanted me here. Not the other way around. This isn’t my house. This isn’t my party. Ree didn’t want to get into my pants. She wanted yours and you demanded she bring me.” She slapped a hand to her chest. “So I could say you’re the one who wanted me.”

He didn’t dispute it and as she took a step toward him, she didn’t have the faintest clue what was going on inside her head. This was crazy.

  Just turn and leave.

  Don’t stick around.

She stepped closer to him, feeling his breath against her face.

“Are you jealous of Sean, Drake? Does he make you nervous?” She didn’t know why she was saying these things. Drake hated Sean. There was no love lost between the two. She didn’t back down, though. Staring him in the eye, she waited for a response.

“That little shit doesn’t make me nervous. He’s scared of his own fucking shadow, Pru. You should really think about who you hang out with. A whore and a coward.”

She went to hit him, but Drake caught her arm, tutting
as he did. “Is violence really the answer?”

Prudence hated him so much at that moment. She despised violence. Each time she retaliated to Drake in the past, it always left her sick to her stomach. Even though he was the bully, she loathed stooping down to his level, and she had done that so many times. This year had been different, until this moment.

Still, as she glanced at his lips, remembering the feel of them on hers, she wanted to kiss him.

No, hell no, she didn’t want to do that.

She tried to pull out of his hold but he refused to let her go.

“What’s the matter, Pru? What’s on your mind?”

She gritted her teeth and pulled away from him, determined to not let him win. “Nothing.”

Taking a step back, she had every intention of leaving, only Drake once again stopped her. He grabbed her arm, halting her progress away from him. Her heart raced and once again, her gaze was drawn to his lips. Why was she suddenly so fascinated by his lips? They weren’t that great.

Drake was her first kiss. Before moments ago, she had never kissed a boy. It was somewhat ironic that the guy she hated more than anyone else also happened to be the guy who kissed her.

What she hated even more, she wanted to kiss him again.

  No.

  This wasn’t going to happen.

She didn’t take a step back. She stayed still, and then she decided to fucking screw it and cupped his face, slamming her lips back down on his, sealing her fate. She kissed him. Not just a small kiss either. A full-blown kiss. When his tongue teased across her lips, she opened to him and moaned as he filled her mouth.

Drake cupped her back, holding her close as he kissed her. Every single part of her was begging to run, asking her to leave.

She couldn’t do it. There was no way she could leave without this kiss. His hands moved down, going to her ass before sliding up to sink inside her hair. He was her enemy. Someone she didn’t want to be near and yet, this kiss was the best thing she’d ever experienced.

She was only seventeen, but this was worth so much more than her pride right now. Drake shouldn’t be kissing her.
