  Smack!

He slapped my ass with so much force bringing on pain but so much pleasure. My body tensed up excitedly waiting for that feel-good penetration to follow. “Damn ma…sssssss,” he hissed, while sliding his dick inside its home. I grabbed the sheets trying to adjust to his size. I been making love to this man for a while now and every time he entered me, it felt like the first time.

I looked back at him seductively swinging my long hair over my shoulders throwing my pussy back on him, taking both of my hands I reached around to spread my ass cheeks apart giving him a better view of his dick sliding in and out of me.

“Damn B, work that shit.” He said barely above a whisper sounding so sexy to me speeding up his strokes. I was matching every stroke like a champ, until he slid his thumb in my ass causing me to let go of my ass cheeks and cream all over his dick. “Yeahhhhh, nut all on your dick ma.” He boasted my ego stroking faster before leaning over and grabbing me by my neck, thrusting harder into my love button.

“Ye-Yessssssbabyyyyyy.” I cried out in ecstasy squirting everywhere. “Fuck meeeeeeeee!” I hollered out sounding like a nasty bitch straight off of Porn Hub.

“Fuckkkkkk, I’m cumming” he grunted trying his hardest not to sound like a bitch before releasing his seeds inside me and pulling out collapsing onside of me.

I got up and headed into the bathroom to clean myself up and returned with a warm towel to clean him up. Hearing his lite snores, I giggled to myself and washed his dick off anyway. I looked out the floor to ceiling windows staring at the city of Miami that seemed so far away and wondered what was going on out there. This beef shit had been quiet for too long and it was only a matter of time before someone strikes. I just hope the Santana’s are the last ones standing.

“Good Morning.” Khadi kissed my lips not giving a damn about my morning breath before quickly moving himself out the bed to take care of his hygiene.

“Where you going?” I quickly sat up in the bed thinking about the text messages I read last night in his phone. Khadi and a few of his trusty goons including Zilla were supposed to be headed back to Atlanta soon I just couldn’t figure out which day they were leaving from them texting in codes and shit.

“Take care of a few things…might pass by the club make sure everything running smooth.” He winked before heading to the bathroom to relieve himself.

“So, babe I was thinking since we never really went on our honeymoon, what you think about St. Lucia?” I asked but the long pause he took alerted me. “Babe?” I got out of the bed making my way towards the bathroom.

“Uhhhh yeah…I guess that’s cool. Why don’t you get with Jessica and have her book a private villa I think I’d be good to go by next week.” He smiled turning his back on me while he continued to brush his teeth. Something felt weird, but I decided to let it go for the moment, but I’d bring it up again. I knew my husband and he never pauses when I ask for something. Yeah something was going on and when he came down to my man, I was like a fucking FBI agent for information.

  Chapter 19

  Khadi

Brooklyn shocked the shit out of me when she mentioned going to St. Lucia especially since that island and Toi has been on my mind since I opened my eyes. But hey, they say happy wife happy life. I just needed to knock this nigga Gator off, so I could relax and spend some quality time with my wife.

“What’s good?” I answered my phone closing the bathroom door behind and turning on the shower so Brooklyn couldn’t hear.

“Just got word that the nigga just left Brooklyn’s best friend crib.” My source spoke into the phone.

“Good…Good. Keep someone on Kassidy’s house, I want this nigga hog tied and in Miami no later than tomorrow night.” I demanded before hanging up the phone and calling Zilla. “Package coming soon get with the crew and be on standby.”

“Imma get the crew on standby Khi but Khali’s water just broke so we headed to the hospital.” He talked nervously into the phone. “I need Brooklyn down here ASAP, I’m clueless.” He damn near screeched into the phone and I couldn’t stop myself from laughing.

“Nigga, you walk around like King Tut on the streets and you nervous about a baby being born?” I continued to laugh in the phone before he disconnected the call and Brooklyn came bursting through the bathroom door.

“Babe, we have to go Khali’s about to have the baby.” She frantically ran around the bathroom trying to check her hygiene and throw some clothes on.

“Woman calm down…and get yourself together. I’ll have Biggs get the car.” I grabbed her kissing her forehead giving her a sense of calmness. I had been trying to teach her the art of being calm when in a situation where most people would panic. My wife was the HBIC in this family now and I needed her to be ready for whatever. I watched as she moved around with much more ease as she got herself together while

  *****

I was surprised to see everyone had made it to the hospital before Brooklyn and I. Khaddo was talking to Zilla in the corner, while Damere stood up laughing at something with manman who was spoon feeding Khali’s spoiled ass some ice chips. Khali was hooked up to all kinds of machines with a cold towel on her forehead. Brooklyn sighed at the sight of my mother and so did I, I didn’t have time for her bullshit today. She never acknowledged our presence or looked our way and that was fine by me because after I got a hold of her son, she would try and forget I even exist.

“Brooklynnnnnn,” Khali squealed reaching out motioning for Brooklyn to come close to her bedside. Those two were like two peas in a pod and damn near inseparable and I loved it. I saw my mom roll her eyes but like the true queen Brooklyn was she ignored it and grabbed Khali’s hand for support. “I’m ready to have this baby…it-it hurtsssssss,” she cried out. “Call the nurse I think she’s coming…I need my epidural.” she screamed as a contraction ripped through her body turning her into a monster I’d never seen before.

“Nah, you wanted to be grown and fuck with my nigga, huh?” I laughed “Take that shit like a woman.” I taunted her before the nurse came inside to her rescue.

“What’s good fellas?” I walked away from the women and headed towards Zilla and Khaddo. “Khaddo wha-...”

“Before you even say something this ain’t the place or the time.”

“Nigga, I’m making this the time and fucking place.” I was heated that this nigga kept disrespecting me and bringing this bitch around. I didn’t like new faces nor friends and I felt like she was forcing herself into this family. “You just buried your wife a few months ago and you already playing house with this bitch?”

“Watch your mouth.” He looked me in my eyes like he was ready to test my gangster.

“Wheeeeeeeewwwwwww,” I whistled taking a step towards him. “You ready to test me boy? Behind a piece of ass?” I ice grilled him getting up in his face. “That’s exactly why I said get rid of the bitch, she got your nose wide open ready to test me and you know how the fuck I give it up.” I clenched my fist trying to calm myself down. This is why I didn’t want to involve Khaddo into the street life ‘cause it can confuse you on what and who you can go against, makes you feel like you’re unstoppable. Now, I wouldn’t intentionally hurt Khaddo but I would knock his ass flat if I had to remind him who the fuck I was.

He took a step back, “I mean, damn, you can’t be happy for me after what Camille and Khaza did to me?” he questioned.

“This don’t have shit to do with them, Khaddo.” I looked back and made sure the ladies weren’t listening. “I want you to be happy but she not it my nigga. This street shit new to you but I’m a thoroughbred. I know a snake when I see one.”

“She’s ready” Dr. Chung announced, walking in as the nurses busied around, getting everything ready for Khali to push. “We need everyone out, only two people can stay inside.” He washed his hands thoroughly under the sink.

“Only Zilla and Brooklyn can stay.” Khali huffed and puffed trying to control her contractions. Manman loo
ked down at her with fire in her eyes before snatching her purse and heading towards the door. I kissed Khali’s forehead and followed suit behind Khaddo and Damere, finding my way to the waiting room. I took a seat and closed my eyes for a second until mamon opened her mouth.

“You happy?” she sneered at me across the waiting room.

“Now ain’t the time, ma.” I glanced in Damere’s direction letting her know there were unwanted ears in the room, but she continued.

“I think you forgot whose more important around here Khadi. If it wasn’t for me handing you your father’s blueprint and holding your hand along the way, none of this would be possible.”

I loved my mother to death, but this was exactly why she wasn’t in charge or we wouldn’t have shit. I respect her for handing me my father’s blueprint and all but she sat back and lived the life of luxury while I risked everything and worked my ass off while still allowing her to have control and access to the streets in Haiti and as much money as she’d ever seen in a lifetime, but she was not the captain of this ship and it was time I put my foot down. I just didn’t know how to do it with Damere in the room.

“Ma, I think you losing sight of the bigger picture here. Your disloyal son split this family apart not me. I’ve done nothing but held this family together ever since pops passed but nothing is ever good enough for you. I’ve raised your boys while you ran the streets at night, while I was just a damn boy myself and you walk in here and ask me if I’m happy? Hell, no I’m not happy one bit but what I am is protector and I will protect anyone in my circle. I’ve had enough of the back and forth with you. Its time you decide if you’re in my circle or not.” I sighed hating that I was letting her bring me back into this sunken place I tried so hard to dig myself out of.

“So that’s it? Just like that Khaza and I are out of the family’s empire?”

I jumped up from my seat pissed off, “That’s what the fuck you care about? Huh? He tried to kill me, my wife, and slept with Khaddo’s wife and you’re worried about a fucking empire!” I shouted, losing my cool.

Khaddo jumped up from his seat grabbing me, “Calm down man… go take a walk.” He nudged me towards the exit as I knocked over a few chairs before exiting the waiting room and running into Biggs.

“Boss, I was just coming get you, I was down stairs talking to the coroner like you asked and we did have a body that was unidentified. You need to see this.” He took off walking towards the elevator and I followed.

I stared at the lifeless body that laid on the cold, steel grey, table covered up with a white sheet.

“Reports said he was found a few miles from the estate. He doesn’t belong to us.” Biggs shrugged his shoulders.

I pulled the sheet back and studied the man’s face that looked hella familiar. “It’s a Cuban for sure.” I frowned as I pulled the sheet down a little more and discovered the rosary tattoo around his neck. Along with Christian iconography like the Virgin Mary and Jesus Christ, the rosary tattoo is very popular and meant to represent protection by a higher power from the Cubans. Only people from the Ortiz’s cartel were branded with these tats as well as three dots behind the ear. I flipped his ear over and smirked at the three dots that rested behind his ear.

“We will take the body.” I turned to the coroner that we paid under the table. “Call the crew to come and pick up the body and ship him back home to Felipe Ortiz.” I smirked at the thought of taking down my newfound enemy.

  Chapter 20:

  Brooklyn

“What’s good?” Kassidy picked up the phone sounding irritated.

“Well, damn, hello to you too bitch. What’s up with you? I haven’t heard from you since I told you I lost my baby.” I rolled my eyes into the phone. Kassidy and I been best friends since our early teens and rarely went a day without talking to each other, so I was kind of hurt that she hadn’t checked on me.

“I was giving you some space, damn. Plus, you ain’t the only one going through shit.” She answered, and I swear I could see her snaking her neck on the other end of the phone.

I couldn’t believe she was talking to me like that, “I was calling to let you know Khali had her baby but bitch, we got beef or something cause you acting real different on this phone right now?” I sat back on the couch waiting for her to give me an answer.

“Imma hit you back,” was the last thing I heard before she hung up in my face.

“Bitch!” I called back to the phone as if she could hear me. I don’t know what the fuck was her problem, but I would soon find out.

“Woman, who you in here cursing?” Khadi walked into the living room wearing only his white and gold trimmed Versace robe and matching boxers. My mouth drooled at the big thick print of his penis bulging out in the front.

“Something’s up with Kassidy.” I tried to peel my eyes away from my husband’s dick, but my pussy had a mind of its own as it thumped in between my legs. Khadi walked to the kitchen oblivious that I wanted some dick in this exact moment but the next words that fell from his mouth put any sexual thoughts I had to rest.

“How much do you trust Kassidy?” he poured himself a goblet of Dusse’.

I looked at him crazy for questioning my friendship with Kassidy, “With my life Khadi, why would you ask me that?” I sat at the bar waiting for him to answer.

“I want you to know something, Brooklyn and this is not to boast nor brag. Being my wife can bring on enemies you’d thought you’d have even some people closest to you.” He took a sip of his drink and walked around the bar hugging me from the back and kissing my collarbone. “You are my queen; Brooklyn and I would never do anything to hurt you but I’m going to have to forbid you from having any contact with Kassidy.

I pulled his arms from around me and stood up from my chair turning around and staring at him in disbelief. I’ve never let a man control who I could and could not talk to and I wasn’t about to start now.

“What the fuck you mean you are going to have to forbid me from talking to Kassidy? I’m not a child Khadi, you can’t dictate who my best friend is.” My voice rose up in anger. I was tired of the bullshit and I was definitely tired of being unhappy. I got married and couldn’t even go on my honeymoon. I carried my baby half way through and he was snatched away from me and now my husband is telling me my best friend is not welcomed in our family.

“Brooklyn, calm down… I got eyes on Gator as we speak and the only reason I never blew his head off his fucking shoulders is because I was waiting to see if he would lead me to Khaza. The nigga been spending a lot of time with your bff.” He used his hands as quotation marks putting and emphasis on ‘bff’.

“Khadi, stop it, ok…Gator is like a brother to Kassidy and she would never cross that line.” I said but unsure of my own answer.

He pulled me kissing me on my forehead, “Baby, just trust me on this one ok? Once I lay down all threats you can talk to and be friends with whoever you want but right now, I need you to follow my lead…ok?” I stared up into Khadi’s eyes and agreed to listen to him. Hell, the way Kassidy was just acting on the phone maybe I needed to give our friendship a rest anyway.

  I sighed, “Ok baby…”

“Good, now I’m thinking about falling off the grid a little early since Khali had her baby.”

I looked up him with hope in my eyes that he was about to make my day. He hooked my chin in his hands, “Give me two days and we are out of here ok.”

I kissed him passionately, “Yesssssssssssss, baby, I need this baecation.” I squealed, “I promise you won’t forget this trip.” He slapped my ass as I ran towards our closet to start packing. The closet at the condo was so much smaller than the one at the estate but I picked out a few outfits I wanted to pack and the rest would have to be bought. I was so busy planning and looking for things to do on this trip that I never noticed Khadi was dressed.

“Woman promise me you won’t leave this condo until I get back.” He was dressed in a black long sleeve shirt with a pair of black joggers and s
ome all black Nike SF Air Force 1 boots.

I slumped my shoulders in defeat disappointed that I wouldn’t be able to go shopping, “How long will you be gone?” I asked getting aggravated I was fucking tired of hiding from Gator and Khaza. I just wanted my life to go back to normal.

“Maybe a day or two.” He shrugged his shoulders while he avoided eye contact with me.

“A day or two?” I dropped the clothes that were in my hand on the floor. “You want me to stay in here alone for a day or two?” I asked, getting pissed off beyond measure. I was trying to be a good wife and follow my man’s lead, but I wasn’t even allowed any freedom. He threw a duffle bag over his shoulder and started walking towards the door with me right on his heels.

“You won’t be by yourself, I’m leaving Biggs here with you and Marcus will stay over at Khali’s.” he threw over his shoulder.

“I want to be present when you kill Gator.” I blurted out, stopping him dead in his tracks.

“What?” he looked at me like I’d lost my mind.

  “I sai-...”

“Nope, get it out your mind Brooklyn. I will personally take care of him. You don’t want that on your conscious.”

“If that’s where you’re going I want to come. He killed my baby boy, Khadi.” I tried to hold the tears from falling down my face at the mere fact that I was a few months away from giving birth. When I visited Gator in jail for the last time he promised me if I walked out that door and came back to Miami, he would make my life a living hell. So far that nigga had been making good on his promise. I at least needed to see this nigga be put out his misery.

Khadi dropped his bag on the floor near the front door and made his way back to me, “I tell you what, once I have him secured here from Atlanta, I’ll send for you and maybe test your gangster.” He laughed but I was dead serious.

“You promise?” I wrapped my arms around his waist holding onto him tight and inhaling his Bond No.9 cologne.
